Номера чистые и довольно современные (вентилятор и кондиционер работают, есть холодильник и чайник), санузел чистый и опрятный со свежей сантехникой. Важно отметить что в номерах нет насекомых и всяких муравьев. На выходе из номера есть общие коридор-террасы, на которых заботливо расставлена зелень, что добавляет уюта и простора. На крыше руф-топ, но я туда не поднимался. Кроме того замечательные полноценные завтраки, хозяева стараются их разнообразить и относятся к ним внимательно.

В сезон дождей если вы арендуете мотоцикл, то он будет стоять практически под дождем, т.к. место под узкой лестницей не спасает его от дождей никак.

Очень приятный персонал, удобное расположение, вкусные завтраки. До пляжа 15 минут пешком, все есть рядом Только от дороги слишком шумно, если у вас чуткий сон - это будет проблемой.

Останавливались в этом отеле с 18.01 по 28.01 .26 г,хозяева и персонал отличные и дружелюбные люди которые всегда готовы помочь,хорошее месторасположение,внизу магазин ,находится около дороги ,но нам это никак не мешало ,до пляжа близко,хорошие завтраки которые приносят и сервируют прямо на балконе около номера ,в номере есть все необходимое ,мотобайк желателен (но как и для любого места на Шри Ланке),остановились в этом отеле бы ещё .

Very kind staff, they did everything they could for us to have a pleasant stay. The rooms are nice and clean. We had delicious, huge breakfast every morning. The beach is a 5 minute ride away with tuktuk.

The rooms are a bit noisy to sleep in, because the place is close to the main road, but we got used to it.

Всё было прекрасно! Мы проживали в комфортном и чистом номере. Просыпаясь к назначенному нами времени приносили очень вкусный завтрак. До обеда мы ездили по Унаватуне. Очень удобное расположение, чтоб быть равноудалённым от основных достопримечательностей. Дополнительно, два хороших продуктовых магазина рядом (один в здание отеля). Затем, с комфортом работали из отеля. Интернет хороший. Большое спасибо за гостеприимство!

Location is excellent, very clean and efficient service. The owner and the staff are stunning. Supermarket on the ground floor makes the stay easier. I will always repeat. FANTASTIC 😍

The staff was very friendly and the location okay. Unfortunately it is very very loud in the rooms and even earplugs did not help. Also our room was insanely hot and you can't leave the AC off for 3 min, because it is boiling inside. There is an aquarium with a giant fish that is too big for the tank, please put the fish back in the ocean.

The rooms are incredibly clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and absolutely delicious. The host and his team are outstanding—I’d give them 11 out of 10 if I could! The staff went above and beyond, handling everything included and even extras without hesitation. During our stay, my father-in-law got injured, and the hotel team provided medicine and first aid. They also made my wife’s birthday extra special with wonderful celebrations. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride (200-300 rupees) to the very center. Plus, there are two stores, cafes, and three bike rentals within 30-50 meters of the property. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

This is a lovely hotel, with a friendly owner. Perfect cleanliness and value for money. The breakfasts are gigantic and delicious. A quiet area, you can walk or get to the beach by bike, but this should not be a problem for those who are going to rent a scooter.

Beautifully decorated outside the rooms and inside, lots of lovely plants and paintings. Clean, spacious, well- equipped rooms with lovely balconies. Very comfy bed and TV with English channels which was a novelty. Rooftop with nice sunset in the evening, it could definitely be utilised more though. It’s accessed down a side road that was not obvious at first.

The location is not the best, it is on a busy main road which can be heard in the rooms. There is a huge, very sad looking fish in a small and dirty aquarium. It can barely turn around, let alone swim. Please do something for this fish, it is cruel and so depressing to see.

We stayed in a double room, and it was very spacious with extremely good air-con. The beds were so comfy and clean. The staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and boasted a great variety of food.

Staff was very sensitive and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous and rooms were clean and comfortable. We will recommend this place for safe, clean and enjoyable stay.

The accommodation/rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor of the property with easy staircase. For elderly people a lift/elevator would have been helpful.

We really enjoyed the hostpitality of the owner. We came at 7 or 8 in the morning and were given the room The breakfasts were very tasty and I never eat them all as for they were big enough

I did not expect that due to the humidity it would be quite complicated for me to acclimatizate and have long walks as I am used to in Belarus, so please keep in mind that it takes 1 km to the nearest beach. You can take tuk tuk (local transport) to get quick And also cosider UF sun index is almost all time extreem, I used 60 spf creem

Good place to stay in Unawatuna and the food was great.

The noise from the road, we sleep with ear plugs so didn't affect us too much, but thought we should mention this.

The place is beyond any expectations of what you can get for the price! The room is quite spacious, very clean, beds are comfortable. Also there is a roof terrace which has pretty good view from above Breakfasts are outstanding, super friendly staff. The location is great. It’s a walk distance from the tourist center. You can either have a short ride to jungle beach and unawatuna beach or you can rent a bike from an owner, for very reasonable price. I love this place and would definitely stay here again Thank you mr. Dinesh for a warm hospitality

Wifi is very slow, but seems like it’s a common problem of most places in Sri Lanka. It would be great to have some foot washer outside(maybe I did not noticed), but I had to wash my feet inside, and now the bathroom is full of sand. And please, can you change the water for the fish on 3rd floor? It looks very unhappy

Such a lovely stay! The family who runs Maple Place are so kind and thoughtful, lots of attention to detail. They allowed us to leave our bags early and even provided a cold drink while we waited for the room to be ready. The room was clean, exactly as pictured, always had hot water, and ac/fan worked excellently. Location on the main road was a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the beach or town. The breakfast was so delicious and had variety for our 3 night stay. Highly recommend we would definitely stay here again!

Such nice, helpfull and communicative ladies. The rooms are really comfi, big, clean, AC and fan, comfi bed and really nice shower. Scooter rent can be arranged in the store below, evenso there's a laundry service. Breakfast is amazing.

If you need breakfast early (for instance to go surfing) that wasnt possible. Was said to be served from 08.30 but actually came 0845/0900. You can here the road clearly from the balcony, so dont exact a comfi relaxing vibe up there, inside the rooms it was Oke tho. Deff good for the price you pay.

The staff at the hotel was very kind and attentive and the breakfasts are truly royal. Location is very good, around 15 min from the beach, you can use PickMe to ride form this point.

the room is very light and there are no shadow curtains, so you will wake up with the sunrise. The glass wall is made of single glass, because of this, road noise is very clearly audible.

We booked a number for a week, but then extended it for 3 weeks because we really liked it here. This is not our first hotel in Unawatuna, but this place is the best👍

We really liked this hotel. We lived in a room that faces the road. The noise from the road was audible, but it didn't bother us. The breakfasts are very large and delicious, lots of different fruits and omelet. You can choose the time for breakfast. The room has a small kitchen with a gas or electric stove, kitchen items are available on request. There is a small refrigerator. Each room has a fan and air conditioning. There is a table that is suitable for working at a computer. Wi-Fi in the room on the second floor was not very stable, on the third floor the signal was better. There wasn't always hot water in the shower. Convenient location of the hotel within walking distance from the beach. There are two shops nearby, one of which is located on the ground floor of the hotel. The hotel is very clean, the staff constantly keeps it clean, they sweep the balcony every day. Room cleaning was always carried out promptly upon request. Thanks to Ishu for always being in touch. Thanks to Dnusha for keeping our rooms clean. Location is either pro and con of this property. Property is located by the road, so you can easily access it by car. But cars, buses and trucks drive by 24/7. The room had zero noise cancelling. Staff didn’t provide Wi-Fi password at check-in, I had to ask for it later. Staff also didn’t provide any information about breakfast at check-in, but they did everything for us to get in the morning, called by phone and even brought it to the room, that was nice. And least, but not last. I wouldn’t even write this essay, if the room was as listed on Booking.com. But it was completely different from pictures! That’s unfair, guys. Also, Wi-Fi signal was too weak to work with laptop.

The staff was so nice and polite, it really made our stay there. They quickly reacted to all our requests. And they even let us stay a few hours longer for free until our transfer to airport arrives! They showed really great hospitality. The rooms are big and clean. A/C, fan and fridge work well. We also liked the breakfasts so much, they were amazing. We had so many exotic fruits, almost all found in Sri Lanka. We also used laundry services twice for a very pleasant price. The hotel is quite close to the beaches - a few of them in 5 mins by Tuktuk.

The staff is not always at their reception, but it’s not usually a problem, because you can text manager via WhatsApp. Also the room doors are of glass. It’s covered with curtains for your privacy, but one might be bothered if someone could see through the small uncovered areas.
