Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Llegamos muy temprano y nos guardaron las maletas y además nos dejaron unas bicis, estaban regular pero eran gratis y pudimos visitar la ancient city con ellas.
Que nos quedamos del sábado al domingo y los domingos no dan desayuno, no avisan ni bajan el precio de la habitación, te enteras por un cartelito. Pero la verdad que por el precio y lo bien que está la habitación no le bajo ni un punto a pesar de lo del desayuno.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026We loved our stay here! It’s a little bit outside the busiest part of town but everything is easily accessible and the location means it’s not noisy and the temples are close. There’s a restaurant a few minutes walk away that served good local food and offered western options too. Our family room was compact but big enough with a good sized bathroom. We particularly liked being able to use the kitchen and fridge/ freezer giving us a bit of flexibility about food. We were also able to use the washing machine which was brilliant and meant we left for the next part of our trip with clean clothes! As we had a car we didn’t use their electric bikes but they had quite a few. The staff here are really wonderful and so helpful. It’s amazing value and ticked every box for us.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir konnten uns Fahrräder leihen, um die Stadt zu erkunden- gute Möglichkeit!!! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Es wurde uns ein Kontakt für einen Fahrer empfohlen, der uns vom Flughafen gleich dorthin brachte.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026La tranquillité malgré proche de la rue , la propreté est top et c’est un bon plus d’avoir accès gratuitement à de l’eau filtrée et à la laveuse +secheuse sans parler des vélo aussi.la clim fonctionne très bien. L’accès au balcon et au salon/ cuisine donne aussi de la place pour manger et relaxer. Il faut entrer dans les chaussures, ça donne l’impression d’être à la maison. Le staff est bien aimable.
Pas énormément de choix pour resto autour mais le seedevi est bon et le café barista aussi ( les 2 sont à 2 minutes à pied ). Question personnelle mais seulement un petit drap c’est pas assez pour moi pour dormir bien

Frühstück wird leider nicht täglich angeboten, aber es hat gute Möglichkeiten Frühstück in der nahen Umgebung zu essen.

They were great with offering advice on how best to get around. Their e-bikes were a life saver and relatively cheap as chips. There was nothing to not like about this hotel

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026La struttura è piuttosto pulita e ordinata, l'aria condizionata in camera ci ha concesso tregua dall'umidità devastante dello Sri Lanka. Lo staff gentile e cordiale. Ci è stata data la possibilità di noleggiare delle bici elettriche per visitare la città antica ad un prezzo esiguo (4 USD a bici), super consigliata per visitare. Zero fatica e ti godi al meglio i luoghi sacri (il giro completo è stato di circa 20km, quindi conviene ragionare su che mezzo utilizzare).
Il bagno non ha una doccia e una zanzariera per la finestra. Inoltre a un certo punto la sera ha iniziato a gocciolare dal soffitto del bagno, probabilmente da qualche tubo del piano superiore.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Les deux jeunes hommes à qui j'ai eu affaire étaient très gentils, serviables, à l'écoute, l'un d'eux m'a même prété une bicyclette pour la journée et le second m'a gentiment déposé à la gare routière d'Anuradhapura pour prendre un bus lorsque j'ai libéré la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et succulent, pas cher pour la quantité servie! Le restaurant à deux-trois minutes de l'hôtel qu'ils m'ont conseillé pour dîner était aussi une excellente adresse! Je recommande absolument.

Reviewed May 22, 2026Con una ubicación bastante céntrica en esta urbe caótica y unas habitaciones completamente remodeladas con AC esté sitio la verdad que me sorprendió para bien. Hay varios restaurantes por la zona que ofrecen comidas a buen precio y la avenida principal no está muy lejos a pie. Camas cómodas, aire acondicionado que funciona a la perfección y baño muy espacioso. La posbilidad de alquilar una bici eléctrica es lo mejor, gracias a ella pudimos explorar Anuradhapura de una manera rápida y a nuestro ritmo sin sudar la gota gorda.
Como única pega, durante nuestra estancia no ofrecían desayunos porque el chico estaba librando, pero afortunadamente hay sitios muy cerca que abren a primera hora de la mañana.

Reviewed May 7, 2026The place is very clean and tidy. The room has a very big and confortable bed. The AC and the shower worked well. I really appreciated to use the bicycle for free. It was really easy to get around the sacred city. I recommend this place.
Unfortunately, because I was the only guest, breakfast could not be provided. I understood, though, the situation in the world has affected tourism here quite badly.

Reviewed May 5, 2026De kamers waren ruim. Op onze kamer bleek airco kapot te zijn, op initiatief van accommodatie kregen we een andere kamer. Ontbijt was prima. Locatie was flexibel, konden makkelijk tijde.n van ontbijt bijvoorbeeld verzetten.
Personeel was wat afstandelijk, niet echt betrokken. Op eerste kamer zat een kakkerlak.

Also you have free bikes and cheap e-bikes if you stay here which made our days in the city much better. 100% recommended to stay here if you come to Anudharapura.

It is a good location for exploring the city, restaurants and a bit Keells supermarket were a short bike ride away and the hotel offers free pedal bikes to use (or really brilliant e-bikes for $5 USD a day). They have no restaurant but if you pre-order breakfast, they can make a fantastic spread. The room itself was super comfortable, great air con and water pressure. The WiFi also worked really well - I was able to take a job interview with zero WiFi issues. There is also a small kitchenette you can use.
There are a lot of mosquitos around the property (a net for the bed can be requested, we didn’t have trouble in the room if we kept the door closed). The only real problem we had was the drains really smelled which made the bathroom very stinky. Something that’s very difficult for the property to help, but it is quite unpleasant so need to keep the bathroom door closed all times.

Le déjeuner était très complet et délicieux. Les bicyclettes électriques nous ont permis de visiter les sites très facilement et à notre rythme malgré la chaleur. Et enfin l’amabilité, la disponibilité et les conseils de notre hôte pour la poursuite de notre voyage.
