とにかく掃除が行き届いていて綺麗です。ダイニングは緑いっぱいの開放的な空間です。何よりオーナーご夫妻のお人柄が素晴らしいです。ご主人は、次の町への交通手段をあちこち電話をかけて調べて下さり、バスを予約する際も、午前便なら日差しを避けられる右側の席を予約するといいよとアドバイスしてくれました。奥様は、観光でランチを食べ損ねた私に、ホットサンドをご馳走してくれたり、スパイスやハーブのことも色々教えてくれました。家具等のインテリアや食器、料理の盛り付けまで、センスの良さを感じました。朝食、夕食も辛いものが苦手な私に合わせたものを提供して下さりとても美味しかったです。また戻ってきたいと思える場所です。

Wie in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben, sollte man sich nicht vom Eingang abschrecken lassen. Dafür sind die Vermieter nicht verantwortlich. Die Wohnung ist top und hat einen sehr guten Standard. Erwähnenswert ist das gute und liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Einen lieben Dank an die nette Familie mit ihren drei kleinen Söhnen.

It was our favorite stay in Sri Lanka! The family is really sweet and willing to help. They make delicious breakfast and drinks. The room was really clean and spacious. Location is central. Would definitely recommend!

La famille est très accueillante. Je me suis sentie très bien chez eux. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et délicieux. Ils m'ont donné des conseils pour les visites. La maison est très propre. Avec la climatisation, le wifi, une moustiquaire, des bouteilles d'eau fraîches. J'ai passé un très bon moment. Merci infiniment !

The stairs weren’t suitable for my elderly parents.

The family were so welcoming, we were made mango juice when we checked in and their sons were showing us some games they’d created, which was really sweet We wanted to go around the old town, so the owner organised a tuk tuk for us too

The wifi didn’t work too well - we told the owner who tried resetting it but it unfortunately didn’t fix the issue

ものすごく綺麗でした。隅々まで掃除がされておりとても快適です。特に食事をする階のトイレの綺麗さには感動しました。かわいいボーイズ達に癒されてご夫婦の優しさと心遣いには本当に感謝しています。頂いたマンゴージュース最高でした。卵白が食べられない私のために卵白なしのエッグホッパーを作ってくださったりグルテンフリーに全て変更してくださったり手作りのお米のスイーツまで作っていただいており感動しました。無料で駅まで送っていただきました。あまり英語が得意ではない私にも一生懸命伝わるように話しかけてくれて嬉しかったです。温度調節が自分で出来て温かいシャワーで疲れがとれぐっすり眠れました。エアコンもよくききます。スリッパはないですが裸足でも問題ないくらい清潔です。お水、小さいボディーソープ、洗顔料、ドライヤー、石鹸がありタオルも余るほどあります。本当に幸せな気持ちになりました。かなりおススメです。

Hôtel bien placé, chambre propre et très jolie. De plus Chammika et sa femme sont de parfaits hôtes qui vous aideront toujours quand vous en avez besoin ! Je recommande cet hôtel !

The family and their 3 young children were all very lovely and welcoming. The breakfast and dinners were filling and tasty. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. They took an interest in our stay and helped us plan our activities.

Due to its central location there is some noise pollution from the street below. There was some music coming from the shops but this stopped by 10pm both nights and didn’t start again until late morning

Everything! The family was so welcoming, the couple and their three sons were nice and helpful.

Un séjour parfait ! Cet hôtel est une véritable valeur sûre. Tout était impeccable, et l’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux. On s’y sent vraiment bien, comme à la maison. Je recommande sans hésiter !

The night I arrived, I didn't get there until past midnight. The owner was totally okay with that. He continued to be incredibly helpful for the whole stay. His wife, is the most amazing cook. I have been in Sri Lanka for two months and eaten a lot of brilliant food. I do not not say this lightly, the breakfasts were the BEST I have had in Sri Lanka, that is no small statement. My room was well designed and very clean. It was well located in the centre of town. Can't fault anything.

The location was excellent & the hosts were so helpful in organising tuk tuks to the stupas . We felt immediately at home and their three boys were a delight, so smart and aware . Don’t be put off by the humble entrance and stairs it was a real treat staying at Rajata Reach Resort and the room was very clean .

ウェルカムドリンクあり お湯の出が良かった。 海外あるあるのコンセントもそれほどグラグラしなかった。

自転車有料だった。事前に金額教えて欲しかった。 ひょっとしたら言ってたかもしれないが私の英語力で聴き逃してた可能性もあり。少し高かった。4ドルだったかな？それならもう少し良い自転車にして欲しかった。

Prettige accommodatie bij een heel gastvrij gezin met lieve kinderen. Ze willen zijn bereid je overal mee te helpen, zoals was en activiteiten. De kamer is netjes en schoon. Lekker ontbijt. Goede locatie met eigen parkeerplaats

Je hoort de weg wel, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem

De vriendelijkheid van het gezin dat de kamer verhuurden. Zo gastvrij, behulpzaam en we kregen zelfs sarongs mee om in de tempels te dragen.

Host gentili e sorridenti con 3 bambini dolcissimi La camera era pulita come tutto il complesso. Abbiamo anche fatto colazione che era davvero buonissima! La signora cucina benissimo e ti porta davvero tante cose. Ci hanno anche aiutato ad affittare le bici e ci hanno dato un passaggio al mattino per prendere il pullman. Una famiglia davvero speciale Grazie!

Questa e' un'ottima piccola struttura con stanza semploci ma con tutto cio' che occorre e molto pulita. La struttura e' gestita da una giovane famiglia che vi accogliera' con gentilezza e disponibilita'. Ho potuto cenare in questo posto assaporando l'ottimo kottu della proprietaria e anche fare un'ottima colazione in un ambiente semplice ma molto accogliente e pulito. La posizione e' molto comoda perche' vicino alla stazione dei bus nella citta' nuova e su una strada con supemercati e posti dove mangiare. Il proprietario mi ha anche accompagnato la mattina alla stazione ferroviaria.

Per chi ha problemi con le scale, ci sono due rampe da fare ma nulla di impossibile

Great stay, great people. Very clean, and the deluxe room has a gorgeous view, the food was delicious one of the best Kottu I've eaten. They even offered to take us to the railway station without any additionnal charge. Thank you !

Fantastic stay! The owner cooks personally and the food is really delicious. They also offered a bike rental service, which was very convenient for exploring the area. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming — we truly felt at home. Highly recommended!

Die Vermieter (junge Familie mit 3 Kindern) waren sehr nett, sehr hilfsbereit, haben alles zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit gemacht. Die Dame ist eine hervorragende Köchin, also haben wir ihre Kochkünste genossen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, Betten waren bequem mit Moskitonetzen, Klimaanlage, großer Balkon, Badezimmer mit Toilette.

Zu einzigem Mangel könnte etwas lockere Toilette zählen, was aber nicht so schlimm war. Und die Unterkunft hat Balkon und Fenster direkt auf die Hauptstraße, was man aber auch positiv sehen kann, weil man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann und wir wurden von keinem Lärm gestört.

The place is run by a family and is the most hospitable people I have come across. I arrived at the hotel very late at 3am and the owner woke up to welcome me and check me in. Room and bathroom was very clean and had all the essentials. They made an excellent breakfast for me in the morning. I would highly recommend this place for hospitality. Even the kids came and said hello

You have to climb set of stairs to get to the room. But the owner will carry your bags. No lift at this place

Very clean property. The couple that run this are adorable. They welcome you with open arms and take care of you really well. There’s a restaurant called Sorisso next door which is very good.

It’s a truly special experience to stay here with the family. They are beautiful people. Their 3 young sons were just fantastic to hang out with to - so much fun andd very polite. The room was also great. The best bathroom I’ve had in Sri Lanka, with lots of amenities provided for free. AC was great, super clean and very central. The food was SOOOOO DELICIOUS. I had breakfast and dinner there and just loved it. Don’t hesitate to book.

A great spot to stay in Anuradhapura. Conveniently located with nice and clean facilities. Great breakfast too. The property is run by a lovely family who are able to help with arranging to see the Ancient City.

Shower had strong hot water. AC worked. Bed was comfy. Wife cooked me authentic Sri Lankan meals. They have three precocious sons which were a delight. Very nice family atmosphere. Also convenient location. Good value

Super nice husband and wife welcomed us early and gave us a delicious welcome juice. We arrived early and left our luggage. He had a printed map for guests of local attractions that showed both free and paid sights. Per previous reviews, we asked for the double room on the 2nd floor that faces the street. A little traffic noise but we slept without a problem. The room was very clean and plenty of towels. Excellent newer bathroom that has plenty of hot water coming from a rain shower fixture! The bed was one of the most comfy ones during our 5 weeks in SL thus far. There’s a convenient charger and tabletop for your gear. There is also a private sitting area for this room just outside the bedroom door. If we were here for a longer stay, we would have upgraded to the very large family room for only $10/night more. He even gave us a 0530 ride to the train station!! This was great because it was raining. You will love the hospitality of this family and their generous services!

Very nice appartment. Clean , comfy beds. Extremely nice owners. Very good breakfast. A bit hard to find as entrance is narrow, but yes, it is the place :). I would come back for sure.

The host family was so friendly and welcoming, breakfast and in particular the dinners were top and they helped with all the excursions we made. Perfect.

The location was good and we were able to walk to the free archeological locations of Anuradhapura. We were hesitant to enter the hotel but after we walked up 3 flights of stairs it was quite nice. Our friends had a nice room on the 3rd floor. Our room on the 2nd floor was small but clean and the shower was hot. The hallways have been crayoned on by the owners three sweet children.

The name says "resort" and that is misleading.

From the beginning (got picked up at the trainstation) to the end a 5* experience! Great equipped room and bathroom (never had such a great shower). The family and their kids are super nice and helpful with everything (organized a Safari in Willpatu NP for me alone for a really fair price). The whole city has a special vibe and this apartment made it even more special for me. And not to forget to mention the delicious breakfast!

If I have to find something, maybe that the room is pointing to a busy street but that is really the only thing. Could get anyway a restful sleep

Very friendly accommodation right in the middle of town. The room was immaculately clean with loads of towels and toiletries etc. The aircon was icy cold and view out to the street was just perfect for us as we are very nosey. We opted to have breakfast LKR 1500 and it was lovely with lots of local dishes and fresh fruit. The owners explained all the options for visiting the temples including TukTuk tour LKR4500 (5hrs). We opted to rent bikes from them for LKR 1000 and rode around all the temples. It is very flat and once off the Main Street the roads are quiet. We had great fun with the owners children who you see at breakfast etc, they are very friendly and love to chat. At the end of our stay they kindly dropped us off at the train station for free which was very kind.

Super lovely couple and the three boys are just adorable! My daughter played very well with the boys. It felt like we were visiting a friend. Breakfast and dinner were also very delicious. Perfect location.

The loveliest, kindest, most generous family who went out of their way to make us feel both like VIP guests and feel at home. The rooms are functional, spotless and well maintained; the bathroom is modern, and you can tell they take great pride in taking care of the guest rooms and the guests. They provide some toiletries and lots of towels, which I've learned is rare for a lot of the budget accommodation in Sri Lanka. Central location: short walk to atms, grocery store, bus station, restaurants. If travelling by tuk tuk, there is safe parking behind.

Look no further! This is the best stay I could imagine. The couple running this place are the most helpful people on Earth, they will help you arrange your trips wherever you want to go, cook you food that is out of this world, rent you bikes to visit the attractions easily, and they they have 3 charming kids. If I were really picky, the WiFi was not too good but I didn’t come here to browse internet and I have a local SIM card so it was not a problem at all. 10/10, JUST DO IT! ❤️

The hosts were so sweet and kind. From welcoming us to explaining a little bit what to see in the Ancient City Tour to serving us delicious breakfast, everything was so nice!

Air conditioner didn't work. When I called to inform the issue, nobody didn't pick the phone. I text it. But not responed. Whole nignt stay with out AC. Not good to stay with kids. When I asked warm water to make formula, a lady brought a big glass jug and told not to brake the jug.

While from the street I wasn't sure about my decision once I entered and met the host and saw the room I was happy I did. Very friendly family and staff that takes the time to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Bikes can be rented to explore the town and sites. Provided great information on how to visit the large number of sites. The room was very clean and had a modern bathroom. All the meals I had at the property were great ( 3 breakfasts and a dinner).

We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel, thanks to the incredibly friendly couple who own the place. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well-cared-for. The owners went above and beyond, even offering us a ride to the train station with their car, which was a lovely gesture. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the bathroom/shower was clean and modern. The breakfast served each morning was delightful, with a variety of fresh and delicious options that made our day start off right. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Lovely homestay right in the centre of Anuradhapura town and close to the Sacred City - it is hidden away behind a small door beside a shop but upstairs the hotel areas are very nice. The family who run the hotel were extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (we had the family room on the top floor with a big window and balcony). Parking available behind the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast at the property and both were excellent. Perfect if you want a simple place to stay that is convenient to visit the historical monuments. Would stay again.

This accommodation was like a home stay. The hosts were a delightful family who provided exceptional service. Meals were delicious, authentic, home cooked SriLankin cuisine. Plentiful and so reasonably priced. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location excellent. Our host provided a great service to ensure we saw the best of their home town. Good central budget option with clean AC rooms, good bed and bathroom and a helpful owner. (Greeted with mango juice, and they organized a tuk tuk for a days of sights). Good local restaurants, supermarkets and alcohol stores a short walk away.

Clean room with amenities; the boss is very enthusiastic and helpful, giving us a free ride to the bus station.

Very helpful staff, they provide us trips, they helped with everything. They were very friendly, we appreciated it a lot! Breakfast was delicious! Very clean room with antimosquito nets. Bathroom was clean too.

The accommodation is what you expect for the price. Not the best ever, but everything works and it's clean.

If I could rate my experience at Rajarata Reach 20 out of 10 I would. From the moment I arrived Chammika, his lovely wife Upuli and their three sons made me feel at home. It felt more like a home stay than a hotel but with my own privacy. Super clean rooms, extremely comfortable beds and absolutely delicious food. The property is in a perfect location. Walking distance to shops and good restaurants. Close to transport and a short bike ride to the temples. Chammika even arranged a Wilpattu National Park visit with one of the operators for me and was able to get me onto a shared jeep to keep costs down (don’t miss this - leopards, elephants, crocs!). Very hard to leave :)
