The food was really excellent. Breakfast was a surprise - better than most more expensive hotels. The restaurant again really excellent. Service professional, polite and friendly.

Wow nice room was great. And the bar was great friendly staff lovely it enjoy drinks and wow beautiful meal food great

Great spot with comfortable, fully equipped rooms, spread across multiple interconnected buildings that give the hotel a charming, labyrinthine feel. The pub and restaurant downstairs are ideal for dinner, while breakfast is made to order from a menu each morning. The location is lovely for a short walk to the local church, with the added convenience of a large supermarket just around the corner.

Very friendly staff, lovely room - and great restaurant downstairs for dinner and breakfast.

I know the hotel can't do much about this... but the 'boy racer' cars going round the town for hours at night with blaring radios and loud exhausts, really spoilt our sleep. The hotel do provide earplugs which is thoughtful.

Great location. Nice food and friendly team. Room was good size for single and facilities were good.

Bit noisy but was a Saturday and room at the back was perfectly fine for sleeping.

The breakfast was great, there was a larger selection than a lot of places, everyone seemed to find something they loved. The staff were all friendly and helpful, there was always somebody around if we needed something. The building was very quaint, cosy and had a lot of character, it didn't feel clinical and sterile like a lot of chain hotels do. It was great value, at the time of booking it was the best price in or around Bridgwater for breakfast included.

One night we struggled to get parked outside, but out of five nights, that's not bad, we were prepared for it to be worse. The hotel also gives some good advice on where else you can park. We opted for the Morrisons, it's a short walk, cheap and you can just book a day's parking online.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is an older building full of character and charm, with a lovely atmosphere and great vibes throughout. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice and everything freshly prepared. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would happily return in the future. Highly recommended!

The Tudor Hotel Bridgwater stay exceeded my expectations thanks to the dynamic crew team including William, Louise, Catherine, Amanda & Zoe(named in order of interactive guest support)etc. Who knew that Bridgwater offers a great superbly satisfactory hospitality guest service experience in the heart of Bridgwater? It is undoubtedly a 'hidden gem' resource for those individuals in need of accommodation in Bridgwater in the form of a stopover to Cornwall etc. or just somewhere decent to stay(Get room 18 if you can, it is a delightfully-cosy & comfortable ensuite complete with a modern shower / bath tub feature). I especially appreciated the wee small thoughtful touches in place:-). I, personally had an inkling that this specific small independent gem of a family business is a rare one of a kind guest hospitality experience in Bridgwater and personally feel the only Bridgwater accommodation service hospitality provider worth supporting, thank you! Compliments to the chef for the perfectly tasty & runny poached eggs in my Eggs Royale on the morning of the 8th April 2026, it was perfection on a plate(see photo:-) Thank You!

Comfy bed, great breakfast and as a lone female traveller I felt safe there. It is always clean too. Very friendly staff.

I would have liked a bathroom mat... I had to use the hand towel to step onto when getting out of the shower. I have stayed in this hotel many times but this time the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Toiletries were missing... usually I only use the soap anyway so it wasn't really an issue (I used my shower gel instead). If was really a problem I would have asked for some.

Great central location - within walking distance of railway station. Breakfast was excellent as always.

The shower was not quite hot enough for my liking and it seemed to struggle water pressure wise (room 11).

Everything, in particular the restaurant and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was well decorated and the bed was comfortable.

I would have liked a comfy chair in the room too.

Staff lovely, Had that old school hotelier experience, Very warm welcome Very accommodating and very helpful. We booked the Room with the Spa bath! I would recommend it to anyone. Traditional upmarket decor in a Historic building, they have a lovely restaurant and a bar next door.

The breakfast is a bit rubbish 😅, but it was free.

Chambre très bien aménagée, literie très confortable, calme, propre. Le personnel a été d'une gentillesse incroyable ! Le petit déjeuner est absolument délicieux. C'est également très bien placé, dans le centre, à quelques minutes à pied des rues commerçantes et de la station de bus. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé le micro ondes à disposition dans le couloir afin de pouvoir faire chauffer son repas du soir si l'on a envie de manger au calme dans sa chambre.

Ça manquait d'un peu de pression dans la douche et il y manquait un peu de chauffage aussi comparé à la température agréable de la chambre.
