Food!!! Over cooked , items missing off the meal. Served on extremely small plates making food look un appetising! Chef inappropriately dressed - long hair and facial hair that should all be covered. Front of house staff were absolutely brilliant.

The room was very hot but not exactly the hotels fault. Being on the ground floor we couldn’t have the window open fully for more air.

No milk in room. You have to go to the bar to get it but I went to get some at 10 pm as I was out at a family event all day and it was in darkness and bar was closed. Surely a small fridge or UHT milk would be more suitable

Gute Lage, theoretisch ruhig, nur vielleicht nicht an einem Samstag Abend. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant.

Leider war an dem Samstag unseres Aufenthalts eine Hochzeit, was dazu führte, dass wir unser Zimmer bis 23:00 Uhr nicht benutzen konnten, da dort Disco Lautstärke herrschte. Da wir eine sehr lange Reise hinter uns hatten, wäre ich gerne früher schlafen gegangen. Ab 23:00 Uhr war es dann wie versprochen ruhig bis auf einige lärmende Hochzeitsgäste. Als ich nachfragte, wann die laute musikenden würde, wurde mir gesagt, dass hier regelmäßig auch Livemusik Events stattfinden. Sofern man also früh schlafen gehen möchte, ist das eher nicht zu empfehlen.

The staff were really helpful and friendly l, the steak was amazing! We stayed overnight for a wedding which was held there and the venue was lovely! They couldn't have been more attentive!

Good check-in experience, very pleasant ground floor room, dinner and breakfast was good, recommendations for food and wine from staff was helpful and informative, nice garden outside but does get very busy on warm days, so obviously a popular venue.

One small thing, the door to the accommodation section was locked so had to go through the bar, although ok for us there was a disabled couple seeking access through that door, we went round and opened it for them, as we were having a drink outside, but just something you might like to be aware of.

Popular local pub with good range of food options and easy accesss from M5. Rooms were spacious and with good facilities. Staff were cheery and helpful.

Lovely stay so friendly, comfortable and couldn't ask for anything more. Great value for money and just off motorway. We stayed one night with dog. They made her feel as welcome as us, so thank you. Food was excellent too. Would definitely stay again on our trips to Devon and Cornwall, bed was comfortable and room was large with a big bathroom. Thank you.

When we stayed the temperatures was 36c so Air-con in the room would have been Wonderfull. The fan supplied didn't cut it.

What a lovely overnight stay here on our way to Cornwall, the room, staff, the food all great.

The only thing we struggled with although the room was super comfortable and well equipped was the thickness of the duvet, why do most hotels keep the same duvet weight throughout the year. Having said that thank goodness for the amazing fan in the hot weather!

Ein spezielles Haus zum Verweilen. Sehr gutes Essen - regionale Produkte - vegetarische Speisen - leckeres Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal - einfach empfehlenswert, da es sich klar abhebt. Schönes Zimmer u Badezimmer, sauber!!

Frühstück wird nach Wusnch zubereitet, veschiedene Optionen stehen zur Auswahl. Es sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Auch das Menü für das Abendessen ist sehr gut.

Man muss sich häufig mit dem W-Lan neuverbinden, das ist nervig.

We did not have breakfast as we had to leave early. We were given a bag with food. A very pretty place with lovely flowers and lots of tables to sit outside. Excellent value for money.

The room that we had which was a king room which looked over the car park had a few cleaning issues water stain on the ceiling and very tired blackout blinds, which were all frayed just needed some TLC however the bed was extremely comfortable

The windows were difficult to open and the shower was leaking through the glass a little!, shower was very good, there were a lot of flies in the room, no aircon.

The Accessible Bathroom/ disabled room. We thought we had ordered a luxury room? The large fish dish was very poor quality. The fish inside the batter was very thin. Definitely not value for money, especially with a service charge on top that included VAT.

We stayed for three nights. A tranquil location, our room overlooked the field. Very quiet and peaceful. All staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was excellent 10/10.

Very welcoming staff,excellent cleanliness,room larger than expected, fantastic shower, well cooked ,delicious and beautifully presented food,( especially the eggs Benedict).Large outdoor seating area as well as comfortable indoors areas.

Minor items - bath rather deep so difficult for a shorter person to get in and out . Bath could be slippy when showering so a shower mat in the bath would be useful .

Our room was excellent, spacious and well furnished. A relaxing view overlooking a field of cows and sheep. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good choice. Evening meals were also very good and the bar had a good atmosphere.

Parking space was a little tight to get out of during busy restaurant hours but this was a very very minor inconvenience.

Lack of hotel resident car park spaces . There was an event on and when we got back to the hotel on second evening there was only one empty bay , which had I been two minutes later would have been taken Nowhere to park nearby either

When coming down for breakfast, there was no staff available for 10 mins.
