Calm and pleasant atmosphere....spacious and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price..recommended

The hotel was as shown in the pictures. Has a large parking space inside the compound. It's near the Girivalam route, you have to take an auto or drive till the Valampuri Vinayagar temple at the 3 way junction about a five minute drive to start the girivalam/pradashina of Arunachala Hill. Staff, especially Manikandan was very helpful and pleasant, gave useful tips for Darshan at the temple and going round the hill.

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges südind. Frühstück. Tolle Dachterasse mit Blick auf Aranchula.

Bettlaken und Handtücher haben Löcher. Zimmer mit " Balkon" werden extrem heiß und die Klimaanlage ist zu schwach. Es gibt kein Fenster in diesem Raum. Frühstück zu spät, erst ab 8 Uh oder später.

Special mention to Saravan (dining area) and Harikrishna, both super friendly, efficient and hard working. The carpark man, desk manager, always ready to help, always available. South Indian breakfast was super super, some of the best sambhar ever, just loved it. The hotel also does lunch and dinners. Hotel is a little out of town but nice and quiet, easy access by car or auto. Room a good size but step up to the bathroom a bit dangerous if you are not well balanced.

Sheets always very clean however old and some ripped around edges, need replacing. No refrigerator which could be a problem especially in summer.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. Location was strategic, along the Girivalam line.

Everything! Every visit we stay here. It’s very clean and modern and the staff go above snd beyond. There are so many food options within and all are cooked well. They alsl have a place for our driver to rest.

Bathrooms weren't good. No segregation of wet & dry areas & the water too didn't drain fully after bathing...this was a nuisance.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and polite. You will need auto to get to Ramana Ashram. Reception staff provided us auto within 5 mins, auto driver was helpful. Morning breakfast of idli, vada, dosa, puri was excellent and the restaurant serving staff was also great.

La zona è un po' decentrata rispetto alla città, al tempio e all'ashram, ma alla reception fanno un ottimo servizio di prenotazione taxi o tuk tuk. La struttura è ben tenuta, le camere sono spaziose e accoglienti e alcune hanno un fantastico terrazzo che si affaccia sulla collina di Arunachala. Il ristorante, colazione compresa, offre solo menù indiano, ma molto buono!

Proprio per trovare qualcosa di negativo, il bagno rimaneva piuttosto bagnato dopo la doccia, perchè lo scarico dell'acqua è situato dalla parte opposta alla doccia. Ma di certo non è un problema!

Close proximity to temple. A bit isolated and not in the middle of city hustle.

A nearby small temple played loud music at early morning hours (5am - 8am), and then late in the evening (8pm-11pm), that kind of disturbed our stay and sleep.

This place is amazing. Staff is very professional, everything was good about this place. They schedule auto’s for you whenever. Breakfast is good and coffee is good. Manager is amazing. Laundry service. The room is super nice and quiet. This was the perfect place to stay for a solo traveler from America.

The Hotel is located just 2kms outside main town area, so is quiet and comfortable. Good car parking. You need to have a car to go to Tiruvannamalai, which is then quite good for access. The Breakfast was South Indian which suited us and was excellent and tasty, with very courteous staff. The room size is good, the AC worked well. TV is Android TV and channels are more Netflix or YouTube access, leave something if one wants to surf local news etc as not easy to navigate with the remote given without instructions. Room and hotel both neat and tidy. Bathrooms clean. Linen neat and good. Lighting, electrical points with universal sockets quite good.

The hot water was available 24/7 and quite hot. The bathroom does not have enclosure for bathing, with bathing area near to bathroom door, making whole bathroom wet. Washbasin size was small for comfort with no hot water access in wash basin. The step from bathroom to bedroom is a bit high (10 inches height of elevated bathroom floor) which can sometimes be uncomfortable. There is outside sort of lobby space in each room, which remains unused. Would have been better if added to room as wasted space as paid for.

The best of the services, facilities, and people, all in one place. Well ventilated huge rooms, clean and tidy toilets, lots of parking, a restaurant which feels more like your home kitchen and the best of the people. Each time i go back, the place and the people there give me a feeling of going to an extended home than a hotel. The name "Thaai residency" truly holds its meaning.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. I have travelled to many states in India and I would say this is one of the cleanest hotel. Superb food, breakfast was prepared with dedication. All staff of the hotel were humble and friendly, always there to assist. This is my second time staying in this hotel. And i will definitely come back here!! Temple or girivalam is not reachable within walking distance. If you have a car. This will be the best choice.

It's truly a beautiful stay , very nice staff . Delicious food, clean rooms, nice parking area and finally the location is very peaceful from all the traffic and crowd.

No doubt the food is very good, but it's a bit expensive especially the chapati which costs 50₹, but it's as thin as paper.. If you could improve this then it's really great 👍.

The staff is absolutely great, right from the security, Kitchen to the reception, everyone is humble and well trained to service the customer. The rooms are "XL" size, Those rooms have accommodated my family members and we were 10. .I strongly recommend Thaai Recidency for a comfortable stay.

I loved the room I was assigned… the screen on the window, the little porch and especially the nice man that serves breakfast

Room not that secure. I had to fix window next to door to porch that could have allowed easy entry. The closet squeaked loudly (hinges) so I fixed them too. A couple times there wasn’t hot water in shower.

The staff were very nice and courteous. Food was great. Overall a good experience.

The comforter and sheet were old. They could buy new ones... these looked worn out. There was no bedsheet underneath the comforter. The bathroom is friendly for senior or disabled person. It has raised steps. There is no restaurant downstairs except a small place to eat near the kitchen. food options limited but the food was good.
