Food was alright. Restaurant staff were decently trained and service was good. The environment is calming and the evening tea was nice!

Some 5-6 drivers were loitering around at the entrance, staring at our family struggling through rain from the car park. Hotel staff were also laughing and giggling there instead of bringing umbrellas and assisting us! Shame on them… A big red flag and my experience stayed the same. The environment is nice and calming but the inconvenience we faced right at the beginning shows untrained and indisciplined staff and of course, what do you expect from a group of drivers loitering around this resort’s secluded entrance?! Staff should have been trained not to allow such nuisance and they should keep a warm-welcoming atmosphere for guests! It’s a 3-star place but 1-star is more than enough for not knowing how to behave with families…

I like the hospatailty, the service stuffs including the cleaner's , gardeners and the restaurant stuffs they were very polite and approachable for any need. The rooms surrounded by buetifull gardens and a very quiet environment. Looking forward to come again. Thank you 😊

The property is beautifully designed with a peaceful atmosphere and plenty of activities for both adults and children. It is very family-friendly, and my parents as well as the kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The food was tasty, and the overall experience was relaxing and memorable.

The only downside was the restaurant service, which was quite slow, especially during meal times. Our stay was also too short—we would have loved to spend at least one more day to fully enjoy everything the property has to offer.

Very beautiful property . Green and lush. Rooms are good. Staff were polite and courteous.

Shower curtains were not clean. The white foot mats had seen a season too many. The property was a little away from Ramanaashramam and auto prices were much higher than standard. But luckily I found a good auto guy . Food overall ok. Extensive buffet for breakfast . Some items were good. Their cheese chilli toast and kumbakonam coffee was good.

The restaurant at Sparsa is simply amazing. The Staff at the restaurant are truly focused on customer service and they were willing to go the extra mile. The environment is wonderful. The auxilliary services there are truly a step up, such as Tea Kadai, Poo Kadai, etc. The room service is excellent. The best thing about this place is the restaurant and the people. They deserve a big pat on their back.

The hotel is getting old, even though the rooms are clean. The bathrooms need renovations. I stayed in a room where all night centralized A/c sound disturbed us from getting a good sleep. The common guest bathroom outside needs some super cleaning and renovation. The hotel charges a 5 star hotel prices, but the common toilet is nothing more than a 1 star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely, very clean, and beautifully maintained, with a calm and quiet atmosphere that made it especially relaxing. The restaurant was good, value for money. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.

Nie podobał mi się jedynie fakt, że w pokoju nie można otworzyć okna. W związku z tym po wejściu do pokoju (np. po wizycie na basenie lub po śniadaniu) odczuwalny jest nieprzyjemny zaduch, który redukuje dopiero kilkanaście minut włączonej klimatyzacji. Generalnie jakość powietrza w pokoju jest taka sobie...

It's a beautiful, quiet space always with the sound of the flute in the background. The rooms are well sized, there is constant hot running water and their restaurant is excellent. I'd always stay here again.

Wonderful Place to stay in Thiru. After 19 years all is still very lovely and unique. Best Breakfast with excellent local food selection. With Tuk Tuk You reach Ramana Ashram in 12 Minutes. I appreciate they Provide drinking water and juices and small Snacks in the Room for free.

I am coming since many years, NOW is the time to do some Renovation of cottages and rooms before they get too aged. Aircon in some rooms doesnot work properly and also bit noisy. Best time to visit December and January. Now in February is already hot up to 34 degrees and humid.

just the place you want to go when you travel to Tiruvannamalai beautiful, and lovely soft landing. The bed was heaven! They really make sure you have a good time. 24/7 reception. When you need a tuk tuk they arrange it for you immediately. Always at your service. And we asked for a late check out and it was no problem at all. Will def be back!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay, especially given that we were travelling as a family of five. We were allocated two rooms in two different buildings, which was very inconvenient and stressful. To make matters worse, I had a stress fracture in my left foot and specifically requested a downstairs room, but this was not accommodated. When I asked to speak to the manager, we were told she was “on leave” and that there was no one else available to escalate the issue to. It felt like the hotel completely disregarded basic health and safety concerns, which is unacceptable. The staff were absolutely shocking this time — they seemed disinterested, unhelpful and, at times, rude, especially at reception. The room condition was also very poor: - The toilet area was wet, and the bidet was leaking - The towels were disgusting, almost black, and looked like they hadn’t been replaced in years What was also disturbing was the way the hotel seemed to disregard their own staff’s wellbeing. The luggage trolley was broken, and staff had to carry our heavy luggage manually, which is unfair and unsafe for them. A hotel should provide proper equipment and support to protect both guests and staff. The restaurant was equally disappointing. We were told it was “only buffet”, yet we noticed à la carte being offered to other guests, which felt like a double standard. Even the buffet itself was poorly managed — at one point there were only two naans available while at least ten people were waiting. Apparently the ownership has changed, and it is very noticeable — the previous standards, service and overall vibe are clearly gone. Unfortunately, we would not return.

Die ganze Anlage mit wunderbarem Pool hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Unser Zimmer war top sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen! Die Yogastunde am Morgen war der perfekte Start in den Tag. Die Hintergrundmusik auf dem Gelände wirkte beruhigend und meditativ.

Вай фай только на два дня. Надо постоянно менять пароль на ресепшн. Темновато в нижнем номере. Черный чай только один , без выбора. Кофе в ресторане слабое. Ну и конечно до центра Рамана Махарши далековато, и в Европе организуют трансфер бесплатный в определенное время от отеля до центра культурных, исторических или религиозных мест. Это был бы совсем высокий уровень)

I stayed at your property from October 6th to October 8th, but I had to check out early on October 7th due to hygiene issues in the room. Upon check-in, I noticed that the bed sheets had hair on them, indicating they had not been changed before my arrival. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene standards. Additionally, the strong smell of cleaning liquid in the room was overwhelming and unpleasant. For a resort that promotes itself as eco-friendly, I would also expect the use of eco-conscious cleaning products that are safe and gentle. When I checked out early, the front desk staff did not even ask why I was leaving before my scheduled departure, which was quite disappointing and unprofessional. Given that I had prepaid for my stay but could not continue due to hygiene issues beyond my control, I believe it is fair to request a refund for one night’s stay. While guests are charged upfront, hotels also have a responsibility to maintain basic cleanliness and comfort standards — and to respond appropriately when those standards are not met. I hope you will review this matter seriously and process the refund accordingly.

The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. I had visited about 10 years ago, and it still looks just as lovely. The location is excellent, and this remains one of the better accommodation options in the area.

The room and bathroom felt a little dated. It would be wonderful if the bathroom floors and walls could be refreshed or polished. There was also a slight damp, old smell in the room, perhaps a humidifier could help improve the atmosphere.
