Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The hotel has a potential, but it would benefit greatly from better management.
A while after check-in, after using the room and passsing reception again, a staff member asked if I could leave a security deposit that she had forgotten to request earlier. I had already paid for the room. Having stayed at more than 50 hotels in Japan, I had never been asked for a security deposit before, so I politely explained why I would rather not. She told me she would discuss it with the manager, and I assumed the matter had probably been resolved. Later, when I returned to the hotel and went to my room, my key no longer worked. It turned out that the manager, who was from the US, had blocked access to the room. I find this an unacceptable way to handle such a situation. I was instructed to go back down to reception and provide my credit card details, as demanded by the manager, or leave the hotel. She also commented that every hotel she had stayed at in her life required a deposit. However, in my experience of staying at more than 50 hotels in Japan, this was the first time I had encountered such a request, and it is also uncommon in many other countries I have visited. What I find most unacceptable is not the deposit itself, but the way the situation was handled. Instead of starting with a polite conversation, the manager chose to block access to my room. This approach demonstrated a lack of hospitality and professionalism. Another issue was a constant humming noise that appeared to come from heavy equipment on the roof. After reporting it, and moving to another room, it initially seemed to solve the problem. However, later the same humming noise was there as well. It was a very low-frequency sound that was very penetrating and difficult to ignore, especially at night. As a result, I could only sleep with the help of earplugs.

Two things. On my arrival I entered my room, went to the toilet but while the toilet seat was clean, the base of the toilet was not properly cleared and that was my first impression. The second is that empty drink cans were not removed when the room was cleaned. Didn’t really understand why they were left behind

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026お部屋やベッド、お風呂は清潔で快適でした。家族4人で同じ部屋に泊まれたのも良かったし、みんながよく眠れたので疲れも取れました。朝食も美味しかったです。夕食の際孫がフライドポテトを残してしまいテイクアウトをお願いしたら残した量ではなく、更に揚げ直して最初の量と同じにしてくれました。
外国人のスタッフが多く、日本語が通じない場面が何回かあった。 夕食をすごく期待していたので私たち家族には合わず、残念でした。

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026朝食はアメリカのホテル風のメインとブッフェの 組み合わせで非常に美味しい。 夕食(Gio’s)で3回食したが、正当なイタリアン ディナーで工夫も凝らされており、極めて レベルが高い。ちなみにClubのカフェも レベルが高かった。 色々ホテルに難点はあるが、レストランの レベルの高さとホールの白人のHospitality の高さから目をつぶることができる。
全てにDigital化が図られていてスマホ利用 に慣れていないと滞在そのものが難しくなる。 英語ができると全てがスムーズ。 できないとどうかな？ 部屋に電話機がないためレセプション直結の 連絡方法がない。非常時に課題残す。 カードキーを廃したため部屋に入るにも 大浴場に行くにもiPhone(スマホ)が必要 で不便かつ手間取る。 大浴場でiPhoneをロッカーにしまえるのは 良いが、なぜか¥100硬貨が必要。ここまで Digital化を進めておいて、普段使わぬ硬貨 が必要なのは大変不便。 スタッフは全般に良いが、サービス教育に ばらつきがあり、上級レベルの対応〜 不合格レベルまでのばらつきがある。 これを楽しめる余裕があるかどうかで 宿泊体験は大きく分かれそう。

Perfect world I would’ve known the restaurant that served full menu was closed Wednesday and Thursday but I probably just missed it. Doesn’t affect my rating, seemed like the whole mountain was closed that day. Also would’ve loved a controllable AC unit in the summer days in my room, but again, didn’t sway my rating.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026外国のホテルに行ってみた感じです。英語の勉強に行くのにはとっても良いかも。どの方もフランクに話しかけて答えてくれる。勿論日本語でいいのだけれど、気さくな英会話ができる。 付属のレストランは外からでも入れるけど、イタリアンシェフによる料理が絶品です。日本では味わえない微妙はニュアンスの味が絶品です。夕食も朝食も良かったよ〜♫ また行きたい。けど、冬は外国のスキーヤーで困るくらいに忙しいとの事。行かない方がいいね。兎に角も行って良かった70に近い年齢の夫婦が楽しめたホテルでしたよ。
外国のホテルに行ってみた感じかな。スタッフは基本が外人さん、日本語は堪能な女性がフロントやレストランにいるよ。でも基本は英語の方が気楽な様です。部屋にはシャワーしかないし洗面台の位置が高すぎて。温泉は1階にあるけど、、、温度は低いしね。外人さんは温泉には入らんのかな？見ていても湯船には入らんで、身体洗ってサウナ行ってシャワーして出ていくのかな。

We very enjoy to stay at your hotel and will be back on winter. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent. All atmosphere was peaceful. Thanks for giving us a pleasure stay.

Restaurant staffs (Kacee and Yudai San at Gio’s) went out of their way to get our breakfast packed and ready for us to takeaway so we can checkout early to catch our Shinkansen to Tokyo. Weather was wet/drizzling, the front desk even helped us call the tourist facilities to check if they were open! Thank you!!

The was no air-conditioning in the room (only heating). Generally, not a problem during winter but given we had warm spring temperatures during our stay the room was a bit warm at night.
