Very nice rooms, friendly staff and good service. Food was excellent. Great spa.

Everything was quite spread out and required some walking to get to places (restaurant, pool, gym etc). Gym had very old equipment.

The accommodation and location are simply stunning Our villa was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by incredible nature..Truly magical setting. The team went far beyond our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. A very special place. we didn't want to leave

Gerechten aan de dure kant, ontbijt is lekker maar geen variatie.

I am not into massage but now converted -best massage ever- felt 20 years younger! Our chalet was like something out of Conde Nast- food amazing- try the prawn curry and vegetarian sides

charging for a bottle of water during breakfast when you already pay extra for everything is crazy. food wasn’t that good either unfortunately..two sarongs were given to us when we entered the room, and they almost humiliated us when they claimed the sarongs were missing duh, lol, I thought it was a gift, calm down.

The property was incredible. We stayed in a pool villa which was beautiful. The whole property was extremely well kept, beautifully lit at night and felt extremely safe.

The only very tiny thing that I would change about the property is that the polished floors in our villa were very slippery under foot.

We had a wonderful stay at **Jetwing Vil Uyana**. The room and location were both fantastic, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. From the hotel, we joined a **sunrise tour of Sigiriya Rock** and a **national park safari tour**. The guides on both tours were wonderful and made the experiences very special and memorable for us. We also really appreciated the thoughtful service after returning from our tour. Even though we had already checked out, the hotel arranged for us to take a shower in the spa area before continuing our journey. This was extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. The food was also delicious. To our surprise, **the wine was included at no extra charge!** My daughter's juice was charged separately, though... I am still not entirely sure how the system worked, but it certainly made me feel like I got a little bonus! Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Jetwing Vil Uyana. The beautiful surroundings, excellent staff, great tours, and delicious food made our stay very memorable. **I would definitely love to come back again and stay longer next time.**

The room we got was the same category and price as the one my parents stayed in but it was smaller and not as grand. They did not have a similar room available but then they should have done something to make it better

The hotel, location and rooms are incredible. Beautifully situated around the lake with an abundance of natural wildlife to see at all times of the day. Dinner menu was equally exceptional.

The breakfast isn’t value for money. Very expensive for the selection. Very few sun beds by the main pool so if you aren’t in luck you’ll need to use the pool at your room or wait until one comes free.

Service was great, especially our butler Dissa!! He was great all over the stay, very attentive to small details.

The spa can be improved. Treatment was great but no ambiance music, service didn't match the quality of the hotel. The hotel could also propose more activities like yoga

This was an amazing place to stay. Stunning location and thoughtful design, and friendly, helpful staff. Laksan was particularly great with our two young boys. Highly recommend this very special place.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Jetwing Vil Uyana from beginning to end. The hotel is truly spectacular, honestly, the photos don’t even come close to showing how beautiful and special this place is in real life. The rooms are like something out of a fairytale: incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The entire property is stunning, intimate, and has a very special boutique feel. What really takes the experience to another level, though, is the service. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with absolutely anything. A very special mention to Ravi, our butler, who was simply a 10/10. He took such amazing care of us throughout our stay and made the whole experience even more memorable. The food was also excellent, and everything from the service to the smallest details was impeccable. Without a doubt, Jetwing Vil Uyana is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. A truly unique and unforgettable experience, and somewhere I would recommend 100% to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Amazing surroundings; all staff very attentive (special thanks to Ravi who took such good care of us and our girls); great restaurant. We had a garden dwelling which recently has been upgraded with a full size private swimming pool. That was a great surprise for us.

Et idéalement situé pour aller à Dambulla, Sigiriya et safari d’éléphants - hôtel luxueux et raffiné, peu de chambres - chambre très spacieuse, tout était propre. Nous avions une chambre avec une piscine privée, c’était parfait ! - staff au top : aux petits soins, ils faisaient aux exigences des clients. - nourriture : exceptionnelle ! J’ai rarement aussi bien mangé. C’était délicieux ! Que ce soit le petit déjeuner. Déjeuner ou dîner.

Our stay at Jetwing Vil Uyana was nothing short of magical, but what truly elevated our experience from standard luxury to a once-in-a-lifetime memory was our incredible butler, Ravi. From the very moment we stepped onto the property, Ravi went above and beyond. On day one, he personally took care of our bags, gave us an incredibly thorough and detailed walkthrough of our beautiful chalet, mapped out the perfect local sightseeing recommendations, and even surprised us with a bottle of excellent Australian wine to welcome us. His attentiveness over our stay was world-class. He served us personally for every single meal, from breakfast to dinner, ensuring everything was flawlessly executed. When we wanted to do something special, Ravi organized a breathtaking, deeply romantic private dinner for us in a completely secluded spot away from all the other guests. He even hand-delivered room service to our deck and quickly took away the plates to ensure the resident wildlife wouldn't disturb us. To top off his amazing care, when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our chalet, he was there in minutes to save the day with a smile. Even on our final morning, knowing we had an incredibly early departure, Ravi was up before dawn to bring a beautifully prepared breakfast box right to us at 5:00 AM so we wouldn't travel hungry. Jetwing Vil Uyana is a stunning, peaceful natural sanctuary, but it is the elite hospitality of staff like Ravi that makes it world-class. If you are staying here, do yourself a huge favor and request Ravi as your butler. Thank you, Ravi, for making our stay unforgettable! We will absolutely be back.

An exceptional eco lodge. Rooms were spacious and unique - even though they’re technically designed for two people, our lodge worked very well for our family of four. The lake fronting the pool had cormorants and other birds that could be viewed while swimming. There were several peacocks around the property, grey langur monkeys just hanging out in the trees and we did the nighttime walk through the property’s trails to see the slender loris (which we found!). The on-site restaurant served an outstanding breakfast and was great for evenings. It’s not the cheapest place in Sigiriya by a long stretch but it felt like good value for the experience and everything you get.

We had an absolutely fantastic time - the level of service was absolutely exceptional, and the accommodation and food were also fantastic. We had a great time on the morning birdwatching trips. 100% would recommend.

The hotel has a beautiful design that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can see a variety of birds and animals, which makes the experience special. The restaurant serves delicious food. A special thanks to my butler, Ravi, who provided thoughtful service. The only thing to note is that the open-air shower in the room may occasionally attract wildlife visitors (for example, monkeys might sit on the wall).

The breakfast choices were excellent. We enjoyed the full SL breakfast which comes with so many varieties of dishes. We loved the choice of treacle and curd for breakfast which we had every day. Our butler, Dissa, took exceptional care of us. The property was so pretty with the design of the lodges built around the small lakes. The room had all of the amenities and super comfortable. We had complimentary alchoholic drinks in the room and a nice bottle of French wine, which was a very nice touch.

Jetwing Vil Uyana was a beautiful place to spend the Christmas holidays. The paddy dwelling we stayed in was amazing and surrounded by nature, and had its own private pool. It was a wonderful place to relax after a very delayed flight! The staff (especially Suranga) went above and beyond to make our stay special - greeting us after midnight when we finally arrived, providing picnics when we went on day trips, and leaving Christmas cakes and cookies in our room. The location is great for being close to nature and visiting many places such as Sigiriya rock, Hurulu Eco Park where we saw wild elephants with the hotel’s nature guide. It was a really special stay, one we won’t forget!

This is a stunning and unique hotel located in a nature reserve. It’s totally worth the price. Our beautiful villa was located on the lake. We even decided to extend our trip by one day. We stayed over Christmas and the hotel did everything to make us feel at home and celebrate the day. The staff are also absolutely lovely, particularly Asitha, our assigned butler, who was amazing.

We spent the first two nights of our holiday to Sri Lanka and it was a incredible start. We received a warm welcome, with a welcome drink, flowers, snacks and a cold towel. The incredible service continued for the rest of the stay, Upali who looked after us was a credit to the hotel. The food in the restaurant, as well as the cocktails in the bar were fantastic. The rice and curry was one of the best we have had in our whole holiday. The location is perfect for visiting the Sigiriya attractions, and tuk tuks can be arranged to take you wherever needed. The paddy dwelling was incredibly peaceful and equipped with everything needed for your stay. We also enjoyed walking around the hotel grounds and visiting their farm, as well as watching the local wildlife including wondeful bird life and monkeys.

The taxi prices quoted were pretty expensive, more than double what we were quoted by Kangaroo Cabs and similar companies. We don't mind paying more for a good service, but this seemed particularly high.

We stayed for 2 nights, the hotel is stunning situated on the lake. The room we stayed in was huge, will everything you could need. It was extremely peaceful and every aspect of the hotel well thought out. All the staff were incredible, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Particularly Prasanna who took care of everything for us. All the food at the restaurant was delicious, not cheap but worth the price. We used the gym which was small and basic but had treadmills, bikes and weights so perfect for a quick session with great aircon.

Everything was great, only comment would be there is no door to the loo as the bathroom is open with the rest of the room.

バトラーが無愛想だったこと。バトラーが、笑顔が少なくウェルカム感が少なかった。ちょいキレお疲れ気味？(なぜ？)ご飯も頼んだものが来なかったり、一年前に泊まったときよりも部屋が傷んでいて、部屋中に葉っぱが落ちていたりした。雨も軽い雨だったが大体ラインカバーが付いていて、せっかくの景観はよくなかった。

Le personnel un peu trop présent et l’ambiance un peu morne ( basse saison peu de clients dans l’hôtel) . Le petit déjeuner : très cher et pas exceptionnel du tout, pas très fin ni goûteux. Le restaurant et le bar ne sont pas à la hauteur du lieu non plus. Prix européens : très cher et pas à la hauteur du prix

Ubicación excepcional para hacer las visitas del triángulo cultural. El personal, el servicio y la atención que hemos recibido han sido espectaculares, en particular nuestro mayordomo, Fabien, no pudo haber sido mejor. Contratamos las excursiones con el Hotel y tuvimos el mismo chófer, Lal, para acompañarnos a hacer todas las excursiones que fue encantador y muy buen conductor. Los guías y naturalista que nos acompañaron en nuestras visitas, tanto arqueológicas, como en el safari también encantadores y muy profesionales. La comida buenísima y el Hotel preciosísimo. Interesante la excursión nocturna andando que propone Hotel con el naturalista por los alrededores. Te facilitan las linternas ellos. Es una inmersión completa en Sri Lanka, desde el primer momento en el que pisas el Hotel, estas en un paraíso en medio de la naturaleza. Relación calidad/Precio muy buena

Stunning hotel and our accommodation was perfect. Quiet, peaceful and private, just what we needed after 2 weeks travelling throughout Sri Lanka.

Amazing stay. Our butler Fabian was simply great, but also all the stuff was very welcoming and always available. Room was super, we were upgraded to the suite with private pool; all very clean, functional and spacious. Bar, restaurants, receptions; all was great but the big plus is really the contact with the nature you can experience in such a resort, is truly like a safari. We have seen huge lizard, elephant, hanuman monkeys etc. Simply the best stay in Sri Lanka.

Additional activities proposed by the hotel are overpriced if compared to overall market price. At least this was my impression with Minneriya safari.

Le service restaurant était un peu lent. Pas de place pour tout le monde autour de la piscine, ce qui est très désagréable à ce prix ( avec les gens qui mettent leurs serviettes pour réserver les transats).

un animal dans notre chambre à l'arrivée mais c'est un hotel dans une réserve donc rien de plus normal et charmant.
