This was an amazingly, qwerky hotel. The most lovely attentive and friendly staff. Food was great and the communal areas are beautiful.

You can not drive to the hotel in a normal car. Its a 20 minute ride on a tuc tuc or a 4 x 4 down a very bumpy track. The rooms really let this place down. While the communal area is eccentric in a beautiful way, the rooms are like they've been furnished from your grandma's house clearance and feel a little bit grubby and unfinished.

Wat een heerlijke spot is dit. Voorlopig drie ruime kamers boven elkaar met een adembenemend uitzicht. Bar/restaurant en de vele zithoeken hebben wat hippiestijl. En het personeel is over enthousiast om je te verwelkomen en bij te staan. Het ontbijt is prima. We aten er ook tweemaal en de laatste keer hun bbq. Zeer lekker en uitgebreid. Ze serveren bier & wijn.

Vanaf Ella rijd je een tijdje bergop om dan via een onverharde weg tot bij Awsome Place te geraken. Het laatste stuk enkel mogelijk met tuktuks, dit voorlopig gezien er verbeteringswerken bezig zijn. Er worden nieuwe woonsten gebouwd, de eerder geplaatste foto's stemmen misschien niet meer overeen met de huidige situatie.

La décoration et l'ambiance bohème de l'hotel, le cadre, la décoration des chambres et les salles de bain originales. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons meme pu prendre un verre devant un feu de cheminée! de beaux souvenirs

Veľmi štýlový hotel. Príjemná obsluha, mali sme sa tam skvele. Personal nám bol vždy nápomocný, keď sme potrebovali. Do hotela vedie nespevnená cesta a musíte sa prepraviť tuk tukom, čo ale nieje problém, z hotela prídu pre vás na hlavnú cestu a cesta trvá cca 10 minút.

Trošku bolo cítiť zatuchnutý pach v izbe, ale to má problém veľa hotelov na Srí Lanke kôli vlhkosti.

Weird loud vibration noise in our room(not air con) that kept us awake. Couldn't find any staff late on to sort it out, and they didn't seem to understand our complaint the following day. We also thought the drinks were overpriced, most we paid while in Sri Lanka.

Kleines süßes Hotel mit klasse Pool, leckerem Essen und unglaublich nettem Personal mitten in der Natur. Es ist abgelegen, liegt in den Teefeldern und von hier kann man Wanderungen machen- Ziegen und Kühe laufen auf den Wegen, ein lohnendes Naturerlebnis, wenn Ella zu trubelig ist. Kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Once there the view was breathtaking, very unique, friendly staff, excellent accommodation which is reflected in the cost. Food was great we had a set menu both nights which was 4 courses for 4500 rupees. It’s about 20 mins to the main rd which you have to get a tuk tuk ( provided by the hotel) very bumpy but we saw it as an adventure.

If weather is bad , you can’t see the views! 😩

I have never before written a bad review - but this took the biscuit. The view is incredible, and i feel is the reason for the highly inflated price for all food and drinks compared to everywhere else - even more than a 5 star villa with a butler!!!!! Service is poor and the bathroom is a danger zone. There are plenty of other places with gorgeous views who do deserve a visit (see my other reviews) Steer well clear.

Confusing. The design is great, but executed cheaply and highly overpriced. The manager and i assume owner was onto us with an expensive set meal menu before we had even sat down. There is major building work going on which will ruin the view of the rear apartments - the selling point for staying there. It felt like an upmarket hostel with writing on the walls, something you'd expect while backpacking, not paying premium prices. We are pretty chill, but this felt like a joke. The novelty bathroom idea was great until you looked closer and saw a rusty nail sticking out of the shower and the filthy light switch in the room where the toilet was - which incidentally had a 'sterilised' band on it - again no attention to detail and disgusting and clearly never cleaned! We asked for help to book a safari at Yala the next day and the owner said would come back with help - never did and the next day asked us what we had booked - luckily we took it upon ourselves not to wait. This is normal practice in Sri Lanka and we booked many things the night beforehand with no trouble. Was there even coffee in the coffee?! There is no insulation on the roof, so you hear everything - again cheaply made but with a fab view - such a shame. The icing on the cake was the final bill where we were charged tax on EVERYTHING - even the room!! Such a disappointment and the worst experience in our 10 days and 6 hotels - everyone else was so helpful and kind, and food in much nicer hotels was nearly half the price and delicious, this was not good quality at all. Go somewhere else and tip well!!

Awesome place was awesome to stay. Wish we got to stay longer at such a beautiful location. Staff and facilities were wonderful. The view from the pool was epic and wish we got more time to kick back and relax.

Didn’t quite realise the location and how far out of town it was, but this was our fault for not doing enough research. We had a driver for our time in Sri Lanka and due to the conditions of the road down to the accomodation we couldn’t drive down there. The staff did mentioned the road was meant to be getting replaced. The resulted in a longer journey to the accomodation off the main road.

All the staff were amazing and in particular the hotel manager who always checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything. The view from the hotel would have been amazing too but unfortunately we didn’t get the weather but no doubt any one that does will enjoy a stunning view. The rooms were also very nice and modern and the facilities such as the pool and restaurant were great. The location of the hotel is ideal for people that want to be secluded and not near Ella centre

There were a few things we thought could have been improved: - Our tap in our bathroom needed a stone wedged in it to ensure it didn’t run when closed - The door lock for the room is right at the bottom of the door - The road to the hotel from the main road requires 4x4 as it is very uneven and rocky and therefore our driver couldn’t get to it, however the hotel did kindly arrange for transport from the main road - The restaurant is slightly more expensive than others in Ella but that is because you can’t really easily go out and eat anywhere else - There was construction at the site which was fine and not too distracting but it would have been nice to know before we had got there

The view of the place is outstanding. Service was impeccable and super available. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with a delicious cocktail and snacks. Room and bed are super conformable, and the view in the morning is just wow. Highly recommend this place, it’s worth its name.

The cost of transport charged between town and accom (5,000 each time for four people). Restaurant seems expensive (compared to Ella prices).

Insonorisation des chambres. Le petit déjeuner sans jus de fruits ou bouteille d eau. L accès à l hôtel pas très praticable, heureusement que les navettes gratuites sont présentes. Les prix des plats sont assez élevés.

Honestly, the distance from Ella is difficult to contend with & the last few kms is hard - very bouncy & slow (extremely slow). We actually moved into Ella city on our last night as the distance detracted from our experience.

L'emplacement offre une vue magnifique sur toute la vallée, c'est le point fort de l'établissement. Le personnel est extrêmement attentif et serviable : comme la route d'accès est très difficile (peu carrossable), ils ont eu la gentillesse de nous emmener jusqu'à Ella. La nourriture sur place est correcte. Une belle adresse pour le panorama et l'accueil.

La strada per arrivare è davvero lunga e tortuosa, se si pernotta qui si deve mettere in preventivo di cenare nella struttura e non in città che dista circa mezz’ora. Le camere non vengono rassettate giornalmente.

It’s a good 30mins from town and the road is so rocky, they supply transport as they have an off road van. I suggest to get your taxi to meet the hotel van on the highway before the rocky road as it’s not suitable for a taxi to enter

For den ultimate, bo i en te plantasje med fantastiske utsikter og hyggelig personale så er dette et fantastisk sted. Når vi skulle gå fjellturer så kjørte og hentet personalet oss når vi ønsket.

Veien ned til dette fantastiske stedet er blitt herjet med under cyclonen så man får en skikkelig villmarks opplevelse bare å kjøre dit.

De locatie doet zijn naam absoluut eer aan, ons busje kon niet bij de accommodatie komen. Het pad van 2 kilometer is door de storm ernstig beschadigd maar ze komen je halen met een tuktuk. Je vraagt je halverwege het pad af waar je terecht komt maar het is het meer dan waard. Het personeel doet er alles aan om je je thuis te laten voelen en en kamers zij fantastisch net als het uitzicht. Echt een fantastische plek

Awesome place had the most incredible view and it was amazing to have breakfast or a cocktail by the pool just soaking it all in. It is a bit of a mission to get out and about and see more of Ella but the staff were super helpful once there.

The road to get here was precarious for a non-local and our driver struggled getting up after dark - it would have been good to know in advance to book a transfer through the hotel.

This hotel is a real jewel! The view is just incredible and everyone there so nice. You feel relax and so well there!

You just have to know that there is a 20 min road at the end that is very bumpy so you can t go there in Uber or Taxi and most Tuk Tuk will drop you at the beginning of this path. But it s nice to walk there in the middle of the tea plants.. And the hotel come to pick and drop you there when you arrive/leave so no problem. The hotel also have a Tuk Tuk always ready to pick or drop you directly at the hotel so it s perfect if you don t want to walk

Un véritable havre de paix. Rien à redire : la vue panoramique est tout simplement époustouflante et le staff est aux petits soins du début à la fin. La nourriture est excellente, la chambre très spacieuse, confortable, avec une terrasse offrant un panorama magnifique. L’établissement est isolé du monde, accessible en tuktuk par un petit chemin sinueux au milieu des plantations de thé, ce qui renforce encore plus le charme de l’endroit. Un séjour ressourçant et inoubliable.

This hotel is located on quite a narrow road and a little bit tricky to get to. But the staff facilitated this perfectly. For us, it added to the experience - but some might prefer to be more central.

The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and the view is stunning, although partly blocked by a tree and some construction. The road is terrible and exhausting, and although they said they paid the tuk-tuk driver, he still asked for money at the end. The room is excellent and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a mystery: there’s a 2.5-meter-tall, unattractive nude female figure in it for reasons unknown; there’s a tub that would take about 12 hours to fill with cold water; a tap that can’t be shut off unless you wedge a stone under it; and the smell isn’t great either. A mediocre place with many good and many strange elements, and roughly a 50–100% overcharge.

Außergewöhnlich freundliches und höfliches Personal, absolute Wohlfühlathmosphäre und natürlich eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Nur zu empfehlen!

De medewerkers waren heel aardig en de pizza was lekker. De kamer was enorm en op het balkon stond een hele fijne grote bank. Heerlijk om daar je boekje op te lezen.

Het hotel had een backpackers vibe en daardoor vond ik de prijs -kwaliteit verhouding niet kloppen.

The location of this place is truly incredible and completely unforgettable! Drinking morning coffee while overlooking mountains is a memory I'll cherish forever. I was blown away! It's worth noting that this breathtaking view does come with a 30ish minute drive from Ella. The hotel staff manage the transfer as the road leading to the hotel is steep and in poor condition. The staff at this place goes above and beyond, making the stay feel genuinely special.

Road to the hotel. It was not that bad as other guests have told but definitely could get some improvement.

We stayed here for three nights after driving down from Kandy in our rented car. After a long journey, we arrived in the dark and were met with a very rocky road leading to the hotel. At one point, we weren’t even sure we were going the right way. As mentioned in other reviews, this rough road stretches for about 1 km and takes roughly 15 minutes to navigate due to the low speeds required. Unsure of the route, we contacted the hotel, and they immediately came out in their van to meet us and guide us to the entrance — a gesture that really set the tone for the excellent service we’d experience throughout our stay. Once we arrived, we couldn’t have been more impressed by the warm welcome and attentiveness of the staff. The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped inside. Our first meal was cooked on request by one of the staff members, and it was absolutely outstanding. Although we arrived at night and couldn’t see the surroundings, our room was spotless, comfortable, and fully functional. The next morning, when we opened the curtains, we were completely blown away by the breathtaking views — truly stunning. To our surprise, the staff had even washed our car, free of charge and without being asked — another sign of how thoughtful and caring they are. Breakfast each morning was served with beautiful views and perfectly chosen background music. The menu alternated between Western and Sri Lankan options, both delicious — honestly, the food and service are 10/10. The hotel isn’t located in the centre of Ella, but they offer transport options (either a van or tuk-tuk). We chose the van for a full-day trip around Ella, from 08:00 to 17:00, and it was fantastic. We visited Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, two temples, Ella town for lunch, and the Secret Waterfall. The driver was patient and accommodating, waiting at each stop so we never felt rushed.

If we had to be critical, the road was not ideal to get to the hotel as this meant it took even longer to get into Ella.

Awesome Place is an accommodation where the surrounding nature is breathtaking, the views are simply heavenly, and it is impeccably maintained and clean. In the room, attention was truly paid to every little detail that makes the stay more pleasant. The staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty. This is a genuine haven for relaxation.

The room was too small for a family of four. However, we were completely disappointed by the final price, which differed from the one we had reserved through Booking.com. This left a very, very bitter aftertaste. When we left for sightseeing, they 'gifted' us water to take along. They charged us 10 times the price for each bottle compared to the price in the store.

Despite being down a long and difficult road, the service at Awesome Place was good. The staff, and especially the manager, were super nice and did the best they could with the facility they had. The food was very delicious but very expensive, and it felt like a bit of a scam. The view was very nice.

We got in trouble from our driver because the road was so bad that it damaged their van. The rooms were a bit dirty and we had to request a room change because the bathroom made the room smell terrible. The owner requested an additional charge to change rooms, but we didn't hesitate because the smell was really bad.

The staff was excellent, very friendly and the view was perfect, also the room was very beautiful, with beautiful facilities. Also there is a pool with wonderful view. Communication with staff was easy, they also helped us out about transport. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great and tasty breakfast.

The road - the road to the hotel is horrible, but it is GOVERMENT fault. Basically, you can get there only by tuc tuc, but here is the thing - You can go with your driver max to the dirt road, but later no one tries to go there, only the tuc tucs from the hotel are ready to drive you there and it costs around ~500 rupees one way. It wasn’t mentioned before. The second thing- after you check out, they will give you a bill. But PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRICES. Because the price wasn’t the same as we booked in booking.com, they had their own extra VAT, then if you take some food or drinks, there will be extra 10% and after they charge you for extra mystical service fee - together is was way more expensive than we throught it would be.

Forte odeur d’humidité dans la chambre et la salle de bain Une déco notamment dans la salle de bain très kitch et de mauvais goût (reconstitution d’une sorte de fausse grotte de pierre, statue nue qui fait office de douche !!). Une salle bain dans laquelle vous ne vous éternisez pas…. L’hôtel est éloigné d’Ella (environ 20 a 30 minutée de voiture + une route cabossée empruntée par le véhicule de l’hôtel pdt encore 15 a 20 minutes). Contraignant

Ontbijt en eten was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk personeel, sfeervolle locatie, prachtig uitzicht en prima kamers. De weg is inderdaad bumpy. Je moet er wat voor over hebben om er te komen, maar dat heeft ook zijn charme en is het zeker waard!

Une parenthèse hors du temps ... Une magnifique vue et des rencontres inoubliables pour notre famille ! Un immense merci à Raju et Kabi qui sont des merveilleuses personnes ! Les repas sont réalisés sur place par Raju et sont excellents !!!!!

Un peu loin d'Ella mais un super chauffeur, très gentil est dispo à votre demande pour vous amener jusqu'à Ella ou juste pour rejoindre la route (chemin d'accès assez difficile entre la route et l'hôtel).

Para poder llegar es necesario ir por un camino de cabras unos 15 minutos y depender del hotel tanto para salir como para llegar. Está muy lejos de la ciudad. La comida es muy cara debido a que no hay más opciones si lo que se quiere es comer

The staff were phenomenal! They looked after us so well and were so kind. The property is absolutely stunning, could never get enough of looking out across the incredible view. And the food was so so tasty!

The driveway is very tricky to get down but that’s not the property’s fault.

La struttura è carina, curata nei particolari, con tre stanze molto grandi anche se un pò spartane La vista del terrazzo è bella, ma non è la migliore in Ella.

La strada per arrivare, se pur con tuk tuk fornito, era terribile e bloccava ogni possibile uscita per cena. Questo è un problema poiché il menu è scarno con prezzi altissimi e spropositati per il paese. Due noodle a 24euro quando in locali, molto validi abbiamo speso dai 7 agli 11 euro max in due. La stanza in due notti non è stata riordinata e questo con tre dole stanze a 110 euro a notte è inammissibile. La stanza all' ultimo piano se di notte tira vento, è inaffrontabile per il rumore proveniente dal tetto in lamiera. Non abbiamo chiuso occhio e temuto, dal momento che è caduto anche un pezzo di cornicione. La colazione è molto scarna. Quello che dunque consiglio alla struttura, è di curare maggiormente i clienti e il servizio in relazione al prezzo richiesto. Con il servizio dato , la struttura non può chiedere più di 45 euro a notte, perché ad Ella ci sono soluzioni molto più economiche, centrali e convenienti.

Alles was PERFECT! Wij werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen! Hebben daar de eerste avond ook heerlijk gegeten en de cocktails waren ook super! De mannen die er werken zijn zeer behulpzaam, wij wilde de 2de avond naar Ella om een hapje te eten, en via het hotel tuktuk’s geregeld om daar te komen. Kamers zien er TOP uit, wakker worden met de geluiden van vogels en prachtig uitzicht! Het was AWESOME!!

De weg er naar toe, was wat pittig! Hebben er ook wel om gelachen in onze eigen TukTuk! Maar eenmaal daar, ben je die weer vergeten.

Wat een fijne plek! Het zwembad is fantastisch en de kamers zijn ruim en brandschoon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en ’s avonds hebben we genoten van het eten, vraag zeker naar de BBQ night! De ligging is prachtig: iets buiten het centrum, maar voor ons juist ideaal. Het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend. De gastheer is ontzettend vriendelijk en regelt alles wat je nodig hebt.

Enig nadeel is de weg ernaartoe als je met een eigen tuk tuk reist, maar dat weegt absoluut niet op tegen de rest van de ervaring.

Man muss sich über eines im Klaren sein: Die Unterkunft liegt abseits vom Schuss, ca 30-40 min per Tuk tuk nach Ella! Und der Weg ist eine Schotterpiste- und das ist noch geprahlt😂

Locatie! Waanzinnig uitzicht, midden tussen theeplantages, met smaak ingerichte kamers, heerlijk balkon en ontzettend fijn personeel. Wij hadden dit verblijf bedoeld als relax moment in vol reisschema en daar is het perfect voor. Laundry service beste tot nu toe: je krijgt de was schoon terug, ook de witte 😀.

Weg er naar toe is drama maar we begrepen dat deze binnen 2 maanden aangepakt wordt. Als je naar Ella wil is het 20 minuten, dus betere weg is zeker daarvoor echt nodig.

El mejor alojamiento de la zona de Ella, sin duda merece la pena. No solo por las instalaciones, o las MARAVILLOSAS vistas; sino por la amabilidad y atención de todo el personal. Tanto Tusi, como su equipo, hacen sentirte como en casa. El nombre no puede irle mejor! Awesome place, y awesome people. Acabamos de irnos y ya estamos pensando cuándo vamos a poder volver!

Nada! La peor experiencia de mi vida en un hotel. Me parece un scam las fotos y la nota que tiene en booking que es un 9 a día 24 de agosto de 2025.

Me parece un scam este establecimiento y el rating 9 de las reseñas. Quiero presentar una queja muy grave sobre mi estancia en este establecimiento: 1. El acceso es imposible en coche. Tras 3 km de camino de piedras hay otros 2 km totalmente inaccesibles para coche, sólo en Tuk Tuk (12 min), lo que supone más de 30 minutos desde Ella y dependencia total del hotel para entrar y salir. 2. Grave falta de higiene: toallas sucias y con mal olor, alfombras, mosquiteras y cortinas muy sucias, baño decorado en estilo rural pero realmente sucio. 3. Durante la noche encontramos arañas, 2 cucarachas vivas envenenadas y muchos mosquitos e insectos pequeños. 4. Me cobraron un 2,5% adicional por pagar con tarjeta de crédito, sin previo aviso en Booking ni en el hotel. 5. Cuando vimos la habitación quisimos irnos, pero al estar tan aislados y depender del Tuk Tuk del hotel nos sentimos atrapados y tuvimos que pasar la noche allí, que fue una pesadilla. 6. Decidimos marcharnos sin desayunar por la mala experiencia y la falta de higiene. 7. Consideramos que se trata de un engaño: las fotos no reflejan la realidad, el recargo con tarjeta no se informa, la higiene es inexistente y el precio es desproporcionado. 8. Este hotel tiene un 9 en Booking, lo cual no refleja en absoluto su realidad. Esto hace dudar de la fiabilidad de las valoraciones de la plataforma. Solicito una investigación inmediata sobre este establecimiento.

Molto bello il bar/ristorante

Troppo lontana dalla città di Ella e alla fine di una strada dove le macchine non possono andare. E abbiamo pagato più di quanto definito da Booking

Fantastyczne miejsce dla całej rodziny, czysto, smacznie, bardzo miły gospodarz. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dojazd do nieruchomości tuk-tukiem bezpłatnie organizowanym przez gospodarza.

Vue incroyable, personnels adorables, la carte du restaurant bar est parfaite, les chambres sont spacieuses. Il est à 25 min du centre d’Ella donc parfait si vous voulez fuir la ville.

Nice and friendly stuff. Amazing view and the rooms faced on the gorgeous valley. The bathrooms had a very theatrical look.

Il posto immerso nelle colline di Ella...vista bellissima struttura molto curata e pulita. Accoglienza e servizio davvero impeccabile

Raggiungere la struttura è davvero un po' scomodo soprattutto se arrivi di sera e non conosci il percorso da fare con un tuc tuc. La stanza è ampia e spaziosa ma l'ho trovata un po' troppo piena di tappeti e oggetti.

Ella zelf is vrij druk en iets daarbuiten ligt Awesome place wat zijn naam eer aandoet. De gastvrijheid was heel erg goed. De manager en zijn collega's hielpen met alles en waren erg leuk op de kinderen gericht. Verder was het uitzicht en de relaxte vibe heel erg goed waardoor je een maximaal vakantie gevoel hebt.

Het enige minpuntje is de weg van Ella naar het hotel en dan met name de laatste 15 minuten. Dit is een onverharde weg wat niet voor elke auto toegankelijk is. Gelukkig maken ze over enkele maanden een nieuwe geasfalteerde weg.

Prachtig uitzicht! Hotel is kleinschalig en ligging us echt fantastisch. Je wordt wakker van de vogels en kijkt uit je bed uit over de groene bergen. Leuke kamers, gezellig gedecoreerd en fijn ruim balkon erbij. Wordt allemaal perfect schoongehouden. Lekker ontbijt en goed restaurant. Je wordt met de tuktuk laatste stuk van en naar de locatie gebracht. Hobbelt een beetje maar wij vonden het juist wel wat hebben. Ligt iets verder van Ella maar vonden we juist heerlijk. Lekker rustig middenin het groen met fruit uit eigen tuin. Aanrader!

Fantastische locatie, weg uit de drukte van Ella. Super aardig personeel, ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. We zouden hier zeker weer teruggaan.

Awesome place was niet bereikbaar met de bus waarin we rondgereisd hebben. Je wordt opgewacht bovenaan de weg en met tuktuks naar beneden gehobbeld. Je moet er dus even iets voor over hebben, maar de locatie maakt alles meer dan goed.

Incredible views which we enjoyed from our room and from the incredible seating area over looking the valley. This was an oasis of beauty and allowed for terrific bird watching too.

Food was pleasant but not amazing and a bit expensive. The shuttle tuk tuk from the main road was fun but be warned it is slow and very bumpy and consequently a bit jarring. Well worth it though as you arrive to a genuinely breathtaking site.

Un lieu unique, accroché à flanc de montagne, très calme, avec une vue sublime ! Les chambres sont très agréables, offrant un panorama sur les montagnes environnantes magnifique. Le restaurant est bon et le moment du petit déjeuner avec la nature à perte de vue devant soi est magique. Très belle piscine et personnel absolument adorable !

Pour rejoindre l’hôtel, il faut emprunter une petite route caillouteuse durant 15 mn que seuls les tuk tuk peuvent prendre. Arrivés de nuit, ce fut un peu impressionnant mais finalement au petit matin, on slalome entre les plantations de thé. L’éloignement d’Ella est un peu contrariant mais si on recherche du calme et de quiétude, c’est là qu’il faut aller !

Wow! How do you put into words one of the most amazing 24 hours of hospitality. We are a family of 3, traveling with a 3 year old and this is an experience I’ll never forget. Every detail was amazing. Two large beds, huge bathroom and a view that takes your breath away. The food and drinks were delicious, the love given to our little boy was so beautiful, he didn’t want to leave and Rubi the little ginger cat got all the love in the world. It’s a fun Tuk Tuk ride just up from 98 acres, and so worth it. If you’re looking for an unforgettable hotel experience, out of the chaos this is it.

One of the nicest places we stayed in during our three and a half week tour of Sri Lanka. Large rooms with decent showers and comfortable beds. Amazing views. Very friendly and helpful staff and tasty meals. Downside was that is located at some distance from Ella and the last 15 minutes is hardly possible to do without a 4 wheel drive or tuktuk. So it is a awesome place if you like staying at a beautiful location with all the luxury and service you wish. If you want to enjoy Ella and it's business and entertainment, this it not your place. We enjoyed staying here a lot.

We missed a pricelist over drinks The Road to awesome place is very bumpy, but the manager said that the road will be fixed in 3 month.

Schitterend uitzicht, waanzinnige kamer, uitstekend eten. Dit is de beste accomodatie van onze 16daagse reis in Sri Lanka. Ook de manager Thusitha en het overige personeel waren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De laatste 2km stonden gratis tuktuks van het hotel klaar om je over een onverhard pad te vervoeren. De rit naar beneden duurde ca. 20 min.
