El servicio del restaurante es pésimo. Para un monto de 470 usd la noche que vale la habitación supuestamente desayuno incluido y es solo una fruta, no lo vale. Aparte esperamos dos veces diferentes que nos atendieran para almorzar y desayunar y no pasó nada. Nos dejaron esperando más de media hora. No deberían incluir el supuesto servicio. Para no tener falsas expectativas

Buena ubicación. La comida del restaurante para comer ahi se tardo mucho, pero la carne estaba buena y la tabla de quesos también

Pedimos comida a la habitación y no estába buena, los postres estaban secos y no les pusieron nieve por que no tenían, esperamos toda la tarde para que se calentara el agua del jacuzzi y pues nunca llego a la temperatura esperada, no pudimos ver tv por que nunca nos llevaron el control, aunque quedaron de hacerlo. El lugar es muy bonito, pero el servicio no.

only think was the hot tub, working, then scalding, then cold....never worked correctly. hot water in all showers was the same, scalding or ice, back and forth during showers

The location was great and the restaurant was a plus great food and very relaxing.

Pretty much everything was good, can’t think of anything that I didn’t like.

I really liked they had their own restaurant in their facility and loved the attention the staff provides you. Super attentive.

Jacuzzi temperature was not exactly as hot as a jacuzzi typically is. But it was tolerable. Also the water pressure at certain time of the day was low, nothing that affects your stay significantly but just remarks that could help improve those little details.

El colchón de la habitación demasiado viejo y aguado, la falta de mantenimiento en esta habitación se hace notar. (maceta sin planta, apagador roto, persiana rota, TV sin funcionar, poca iluminación, pintura descarapelada, etc.

Everything! Food and beverages were amazing!

Las habitaciones son casas preciosas enormes y cómodas. Tienen una terraza preciosa cada una de ellas, donde te puedes sentar a disfrutar del atardecer o amanecer y tomar una copa de vino....¿por qué no?

El desayuno incluido consiste en café o jugo, fruta picada con yogurt y granola. El restaurante ofrece desayunos más completos con un costo adicional los cuales están buenísimos y vale la pena pagarlos.

I was unable to lock my door. We had to put some furniture to block the door at night. Our shower didn’t work we had to shower with cold water. Also room is outdated , not enough power outlets . Possible bedbugs .

Mexico en la Piel is the best hotel in Valle! Staff, location, rooms, everything! This our fourth time staying, can't wait to come back again soon! I want to thank Anette for our upgrade as a returning guest, you made my bday stay even better! THANK YOU!! Eddie, Henri, Faustino all so nice and helpful, you guys are the best =) Hopefully see you soon! Sidenote I never eat at hotels, but decided to stay in and eat breakfast here. The puercos con huevos was soooo good!! The homemade carnitas and tortillas so good, definitely recommend eating here, as well the staff is great. Thank you again Mexico en la Piel!!

El lugar en general es muy bonito, rodeado de naturaleza, las habitaciones son cómodas, El restaurante con muy buen servicio, el personal muy amable, y la comida muy rica, muy recomendado, si regresaría.

Me llevé mi moto, y no me gustó que hay poco camino para recorrer, no se tal vez que hubiera caminos para subir la montaña y tener una bonita vista

Nos gustó mucho, volveríamos a ir. También la comida del restaurante estuvo muy rica. Solo la ubicación se que abre primero no es la correcta, pero si lo buscas por separado en el mapa sale, igualmente si pones el nombre del restaurante en el mapa. No es complicado ni está alejado

Everything was great, receptionist, room service, staff, rooms were super clean and the people in the restaurant really nice very helpful. Definitely coming back..

Reserve la habitación con jacuzzi pero nunca calentó el agua, avise varias veces pero no pudieron solucionar el problema

The property was pretty, it was secluded with lots of space to explore on site. The grounds are maintained pretty well, and the cabins look very nice.

While aesthetically things were nice, after staying for a day or so some of the issues became more apparent after it started raining. Water began leaking into the room from outside, the bathroom door would not shut, and smoke from the fireplace was not exiting through the chimney like it should so we weren’t able to light a fire without the doors open…

SIze of room, fireplace is amazing, terrace is great, shower (when hot), parking (drive up to room/park front door). Look and feel of the property. Individual villas/cabainas (Modern/clean) friendly nice staff. Location IMO is the best, right off right off 3. TV! Normally don't watch TV on holiday but was nice to have the fire going and easy connect/cast to Netflix and chill =) Second time staying here, and minus the negatives mentioned below I would definitely come back and stay again IF rates remain affordable.

Little quirks that still make this a 3 star experience.The rate was almost double to most other "boutique" hotels. We've stayed here before and returned again because of the room size, quality, location, terrace, fireplace etc. (which make sense for the higher rate) But for a place that looks and feels like an elevated experience it's still falls a bit short. In fairness I probably just need to lower my expectations and realize yes it's a nice property but it's still not 4 star (I think it's advertised 3star to be fair). Shower wasn't hot (had to call to fix). Which by the way at check in would be helpful if you presented a QR or something with your whatsapp number to call IF you need anything. I had to google map the number. One of the large view window shades was broken (had to call to have it manually open), we had asked to have this fixed the first night, they said someone would come, they never did. You stay here for the views, hence you want all shades operational. I Whatsapp'd the next morning for the shower, shade, and more firewood, I received an immediate text response, they fixed the shade, brought more wood. We left super early the next morning not sure if shower was finally ever hot.

The hotel is gorgeous. I love how is on the hills and the modern simple look to them. The staff was also very helpful and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend and come back for another stay.

The noise level at night due to the dogs. I love how the whole region of the Valle has dogs, they are not street dogs but rather from the owners. We also saw a lot of dogs on the wineries. They were all very friendly. However due to the remoteness of the location there was one night where the dog just barked for like 2 hours around 2am to I am assuming another animal. It was hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper.

The bed is very comfortable and some amenities as well.

Customer service is not all there. One of the blinds didn’t work and all she said was if you need to open it call up front for assistance and we didn’t even get a number!

Mini Suite is awesome! We stayed at the Baja California Sur suite, and was super spacious and comfy. Will stay there again!!

Buena experiencia en general; como oportunidades de mejora, la habitación no tenía TV; no nos dieron clave de WiFi y el aire acondicionado no enfriaba bien; no obstante volveremos!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Food and drinks were also amazing. It was nice seeing the property dog escort us to our room and say hi throughout the trip. Wish there were more walkways between rooms to more to the restaurant

El lugar esta hermoso! Las vistas y las cabañas estan increíbles, el personal súper amable y super lindos todos, nos cayó muy muy bien un mesero del restaurante de nombre Heriberto, nos atendió super bien y es muy simpático. Lo unico que no me gustó es que en la publicación dice especificamente que incluye desayuno continental y al llegar te dicen que solo es un cafe y un platito de frutas y el desayuno lo tuve que pagar, lo comento porque es una de las razones por las que elegí hospedarme aquí sobre otras opciones, pero fuera de eso, nos la pasamos increíble y lo recomiendo mucho!

Una experiencia inolvidable !

Las instalaciones son increíbles. El cuarto tiene una vista preciosa. La cama y almohadas son muy cómodas. El personal es muy amable.

No servía la chimenea del cuarto que era con alcohol (eso dijo la que nos llevó, no sé si no había alcohol o de verdad no servía) Fuimos 2 noches y 3 días. No realizaron la limpieza (no sacaron basura), ni tendieron cama, ni dejaron el café y agua correspondiente al segundo día, solamente dejaron las toallas sobre un sillón.

Secluded and quiet. Friendly staff. The location does require transportation for all needs but the single restaurant that is on premises. The restaurant is nice for breakfast and miscellaneous meals.

El personal es sumamente amable, desde la persona que nos espera en el portón hasta las camaristas que hacen un trabajo increíble. Todos los días la habitación olía delicioso. Nos encantó estar ahí es sumamente recomendable.

This is my first time visiting Valle de Guadalupe and our stay was absolutely perfect! The staff at Mexico en la Piel were not only nice but also very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The last night I was there, I met the owner who was also very friendly and accommodating. I will go back!

We had an amazing stay at Mexico en la Piel, the staff was so kind, attentive and extremely helpful. Our rooms were spectacular, clean, quiet and spacious. We will miss our daily breakfast and the scenery.

Supero por mucho nuestras expectativas, excelente servicio, habitaciones muy bonitas, privadas, hermosas vistas, no dejen de visitar el restaurante del resort, esa fue otra buena sorpresa, la ubicación del complejo es muy buena y accesible, cuentas con todo lo que necesitas sin perder esa esencia del estilo Baja.

Everyone from young lady at check-in, Eriberto in the restaurant, and the maintenance worker, were amazing, polite, and very responsive. The rooms were clean and I felt very safe at the property. I will definitely be back again!

Estuvimos en Baja California Sur, súper bonito, limpio y cómodo. El personal de lo más amable. Sin duda alguna regresamos sin dudar.

The state was great. We love this property. We’ve been here several times, but there’s always an issue with customer service at night. We had issues with the Wi-Fi in the room. I try calling customer service through the app. WhatsApp this was the way we communicated with this property, but no one seem to answer until the next day around 10 AM. Don’t get me wrong. I do think they need to work and their customer service, all this does not affect the overall experience that we had. It was amazing. We love the view and the room. I definitely recommend it.

We love going here to work with their guests. They go out of their way to help guests enjoy the Valle, and keep the place very clean and beautiful. We are there almost weekly to give Massage and Facials with the Valle Moble Spa Team. Highly recommend it!

We loved our little Casita. It was private, comfortable, and beautiful. We visited the Valle de Guadalupe during a cold snap and really appreciated the fireplace which we used on multiple occasions. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was over the top. To a person, the staff were welcoming and efficient. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family if they were spending some time in this area.

The property is stunning. The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean and the view was so picturesque. The spa was perfectly hot and a really relaxing addition to our stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast chilaquiles were delicious.

This is now my go-to hotel when I stay in Valle. It is right off the main road, so no long dirt roads. The rooms are secluded, the staff are extremely friendly. 20 out of 10.
