Big Bird Inn Wawa, SureStay Collection by Best Western

Freundliches Personal, großzügige Parkplätze.

Wie ein zum Hotel upgegradetes Motel, etwas altmodisch und muffig.

Quiet. Nice breakfast.

Breakfast was good. The waffle iron broke, but there was enough variety at the time. The staff were friendly, and when we accidently left something behind, they contacted us right away. They even held on to it for a while until someone was able to come by to collect it. They let us check in early, which was ideal as it was raining and our plans had been put on hold. There were laundry facilities which were especially useful as we were on a big road trip.

It's a pretty basic hotel, and the dining options nearby are pretty limited. I would expect it to be cheaper, but it wasn't too expensive either.

Staff were accommodating and friendly. We were able to use the breakfast area to play cards on a day it was poring rain.

Nothing of concern.

Breakfast was good. Location was great.

seemed to be somewhat of a depressed town

Breakfast was great! The room was big and very clean. And it was quiet, which is good because we brought our pet and often hotels will put you in the noisiest area when you have a dog. Overall, great experience.

It came with a spa tub, that had broken knobs. It was fine, since we didn't plan on using the tub.

Lily, the evening front desk person was very helpful and friendly.

No elevator, breakfast was basic, tv was very limited, guest washing machine did not work. Overall, we were not impressed.

Location

Great breakfast! Family loved it.

Nice soak tub in the room.

Breakfast was minimal and not very interesting

Location

Food. Very little and overcooked. Electrical outlets not working. No stoppers in sink. No bathmat. I still have bruises from my fall. Unconcerned staff but the did give me a bathmat.

Clean & fairly spacious.

Double beds were not so comfortable for 4 people. No bedside table on the right side so had to use my luggage to hold my phone & glasses

Clean and neat!

Very clean and comfortable.

Very quiet and comfortable rooms. We had a two queen room and it was a great restful night after a long day of driving. The breakfast and coffee was a bonus.

Nothing rings a bell.

Staff was great. Good amenities. Pet friendly. Seperate room vathroom. Good shower pressure

Very friendly staff.

Clean environment and friendly staff.

Breakfast and location good.

Literie bonne chambre propre.

The people were fabulous! The guy that checked us in was so nice and helpful and the two ladies that fixed breakfast and were cleaning it up were so amazing. The breakfast was so appreciated and delicious, and our ride would have taken so much longer if we hadn't had breakfast at the hotel. Thank you so much ladies for being so sweet!

Needs towel bars in the bathroom.

Staff were friendly and helpful

The room and the bed. The floor was damaged and wet. Place didn't feel clean. Not much counter space in the bathroom.

Good central location

Lobby and breakfast area extremely hot

Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Friendly staff. Nice room. Good value.

Fast check in, friendly staff and clean, spacious room

Great stay overall just no coffee out the few times I checked.

Everything

Breakfast was good! Nice variety of food!

Lobby has a wonderful setting and the breakfast area is superb however the lobby really should be should be air conditioned. The staff was superb and helpful, parking excellent and location was ideal. I would stay at the Big Bird again when I make my trip back to Wawa.

Lobby should have air conditioning.

Hotel has been upgraded and very clean. Lots of parking. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was just ok. Bacon was overcooked. Limited food selection. No EV chargers.

Very big room. Has full fridge and microwave. Very clean and modern looking for the room.

Good breakfast

Comfortable

Breakfast was lacking in quality and presentation

Great!

Everything was great. Personnel were fantastic!

Hotel locations and parking lot

I don't belive the house keeping checked the room.

Real cutlery for breakfast.

The motel was perfect for our family (including our dog) traveling to Thunder Bay to collect amethysts (and try to spot Moose and Black Bears along hwy 17). The motel was a great, pet friendly facilty. Our room was large and clean, with vinyl plank floors, fridge and microwave. The free breakfast included the pretty common waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, coffee, scrambled eggs (tasted better than most I've had), sausage and bacon.

The bed was so comfy and of course what I luv most of all clean Thanks Best Western!

Good

Close to the highway. Decent breakfast. Breakfast staff kindly brought me waffle batter since the dispenser was broken and I really wanted a waffle for breakfast.

Liked everything. George on front desk was wonderful! He has personality plus!

Nothing

Very clean and easy to get to

Great price, good location, super helpful staff!

Excellent

The beds were comfortable. Good location. Easy access from parking spot to rooms. Plenty of parking.

The breakfast was pretty basic even sparse. Apples were the only fruit. Just whole wheat toast. One kind of jam. Terrible brand of black tea! There was no counter space in the bathroom to put toiletries, especially for two people.

BR was good

No elevators. We were on 2nd floor. When elderly difficult to climb stairs with luggage

Great breakfast (coffee was amazing w flavoured syrups available) and bottomless juice and tea 24/7 was a really nice touch. Front desk staff (James I believe) was very pleasant and helpful. No complaints about the big bird inn! 🙌🙂

Lovely staff and great breakfast super accommodating. 100% recommend

The location is convenient and the breakfast was perfect for a road trip. The receptionist was exceptional.

The suite wasn’t available and it wasn’t a suite, just a larger room.

Super super clean and super comfortable bed the receptionist are amazing

Good value, super friendly checkin. Good breakfast.

The fact that the emergency exit at the end of the corridor next to our room was snowed in was troubling. I almost asked for a shovel so I could deal with it, but didn't.

Was clean!

The mattress was too soft and maybe a little old.

They didn’t give me back my deposit

Customer service was amazing
