Personeel was niet vriendelijk, niet behulpzaam. De kamers zijn klein en duf. Het ontbijt was ondermaats. Toastbrood zonder toasten op je bord let koude koffie. Echt geen aanrader!

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026L’hôtel est très bien situé, le centre est accessible à pieds; les gérants nous donnent des conseils et sont là en cas de besoin; les lits étaient propres.
Les chambres n’étaient pas très bien insonorisées ce qui pouvait poser problème si des voisins n’étaient pas respectueux et faisaient trop de bruit , mais ce n’est pas imputable aux gérants.

Właściciel hotelu bardzo się opiekował nami - załatwił nam wynajęcie skutera, busy na przyjazd z Hanoi do Cat Ba oraz podróż do Hoi An. Śniadanie, które było wliczone w cenę było bardzo dobre, a pokój czysty. Gorąco polecam ten hotel!

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Nice and cozy hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. It has all the basics you might need for a short stay. The hotel is within a walking distance from the city center, but it requires some up the hill power walking, quite steep slope.
Everything was great. Just an FYI kinda message. Mattresses are quite hard, this is typical for Vietnamese hotels, as people here prefer harder beds.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ruhigen Straße in zentraler Lage, sodass alle wichtigen Punkte gut erreichbar sind. Die Betreiber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit; sie gaben uns zahlreiche Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten auf Cat Ba und unterstützten uns zudem bei der Planung sowie Buchung unseres Transfers nach dem Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen frisch von der Betreiberin zubereitet, schmeckte sehr gut und bot eine Auswahl verschiedener Optionen, ergänzt durch Kaffee oder Tee. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen über eine gute Ausstattung.
Lediglich im Badezimmer fielen vereinzelt Rost- und Kalkflecken auf. Abgesehen davon war das Hotel insgesamt sauber und gepflegt.

The windows don’t lead outside, they open into the internal hotel, so no fresh air. Shower temperature was temperamental.

Właściciel zajął się nami jak małymi dziećmi od początku: zorganizował nam podróż z Hanoi, pobyt na CatBa (rejs, kajaki, pranie) oraz dalszą podróż, aż do Hoi An. Wszystko zapewniał, ustalił, my się pojawiałyśmy w wyznaczonych miejscach ;) to było wspaniałe i zaznaczam to na ogromny plus. Pokoje przestronne, odpowiadające wietnamskim dwóm gwiazdkom. Ręczniki wymieniane codziennie, dostępne normalne kołdry. Śniadania proste, świeże. Wszędzie blisko!
Czasem szkoda, że ulica pod hotelem nie jest dla busów, ale wystarczy przejść 100 metrów :)

Reviewed May 9, 2025The hosts were so friendly and helpful, happy to help in any way they could with booking onward travel and activities. The room was spacious and comfy. The location was perfect to explore Cat Ba and the surrounding beaches whilst being far enough away for the waterfront construction going on - we weren’t affected by the noise at all during our stay. There are hikes that can start around the property and it doesn’t take too long to get to lovely views. Lan Ha Bay was stunning! Drinking water and breakfast provided which was amazing. Luggage storage was also not a problem. We would definitely stay again.

You can order from a menu for breakfast and you get at least three eggs. My boyfriend cannot eat gluten and they gave him extra fruit instead. Very nice.
Not much to say. Very nice place and very cheap. If I can say something negative, it would be that you could order to things for breakfast and not only one. It would have been nice with vegetables on the side.

Then helped me with whatsup message and links to visit the most interesting things with scooter I rent from the hotel. The bathroom is very clean and convenient. The bed is really comfortable. Breakfast was nice. On top of that it is very very calm and just 200 m from the front water... I definitely recommend this hotel. 👌

The hotel could do with with an iron as clothes tend to dry very slowly in this area.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2024We had a problem with our air conditioner in the room the manager at the front desk immediately moved us to a different room and even upgraded us to a bigger room with no extra charge. The room has a fridge which is great!
The entire area is under construction so it's a little less comfortable to be in the area in general
