We were happy about our 7th floor room facing the hill. Was quite comfortable. It was quiet. We could borrow the orange squeezer one time.

No drinking water to refill your bottle.

По факту это очень старый отель , ну и не самый чистый, с запахом сырости. Искать уже не хотелось поэтому осталась здесь.

Des nuits avec un très bon qualité prix , un excellent emplacement et un personnel très gentil et qui conseille, propose de louer des scooters très facilement. Il ne faut pas attendre un standing de grand luxe mais si l'on recherche un séjour simple où le logement n'est est pas là priorité mais plutôt la praticité avec une chambre avec un confort basique mais largement suffisant, permettant de se loger dans avec un bon emplacement c'est l'endroit idéale .

La chambre est basique, il ne faut pas rechercher un confort grand luxe mais pour un séjour pratique elle est largement suffisante et confortable

We didn’t actually stay at this hotel (actually called “mountain pearl hotel) but even with a booking confirmation they didn’t have a room for us but instead booked us into the hotel across the street. Weird, but ok. It’s centre of town and good location. The Mountain Pearl Hotel staff were very helpful.

It’s loud. The room was right overlooking the street and constant honking and street noise happens all night (earplugs were a must). The place is showing its age and was rough but clean enough.

Super rapport qualité / emplacement et prix. Personnel très sympa. Le petit déjeuner est une sorte de petit buffet mais très suffisant avec nourriture purement vietnamienne, très bon. Je recommande. Le lit est très confortable.

Grosse Zimmer, freundliche Familie die das Hotel betreibt. Super zum Billard spielen auf dem Dach!

Wenn man ein Zimmer im 7 stock hat hört man den Billard Tisch über sich wenn jemand spielt. Stört nicht so krass aber vielleicht manche. Und in der Nacht ist dann schon Ruhe.

Mình mong anh chị chủ sẽ trang bị thêm ít nhất 01 chiếc quạt trong phòng, vì mình cảm nhận chỉ điều hòa là ko đủ làm mát đều cả phòng. Bên cạnh đó thì vòi hoa sen cũng nên thay mới.

Hotel jest troszeczkę dalej od głównej ulicy przy zatoce. Dzięki temu jest dużo ciszej i można się normalnie wyspać. Bezproblemowy kontakt z obsługą, oferują skutery, wycieczki, bilety autobusowe. Śniadanie to jajka pod różnymi postaciami do wyboru (jajecznica, omlet...). Raczej podstawowe ale smaczne. Ogólnie uważam że bardzo dobry stosunek ceny do jakości.

Zapach w łazience (trochę się polepszyło po 2 nocach ale dalej to czułem; może kwestia wrażliwości na zapachy).

Zimmer war wie beschrieben, und alles wichtige war vorhanden… ( Klima, kleiner Kühlschrank, Fön, Wasserkocher, TV und eigenes Bad ) Der Standard war ok ( kein Luxus, kein Schnickschnack- einfach aber gut 👍 ) und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war Top. In meinem Zimmerpreis war jeden Morgen ein frisches Frühstück inklusive. Sehr sehr freundliche Vermieter, die einem bei allem geholfen haben inkl Wäscheservice und Busbuchung 👍👍

Das Bett war bequem und die AC ging. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für 7€ die Nacht für ein Privatzimmer war insgesamt trotzdem gut .

Das Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber und das Bad ebenfalls nicht. Der duschkopf konnte nicht aufgehängt werden. Der TV im Raum konnte auch nicht benutzt werden. Das WLAN funktionierte gelegentlich nicht.

It is on the "Backpacker's Road" of Cat Ba. The hotel is more than happy to arrange the tours and transportation to your next destination. The beds were good enough, the rooms had everything you'd expect, including a minibar/fridge, and a place to hang a few items of clothing, which is not always available elsewhere. There are also some nice little touches here and there which are cute. There's a rooftop area where you could hang out, equipped with a pool table. The owner is very kind to have upgraded us to one with a window facing the town, which is very thoughtful and much appreciated. The included breakfast is basic, but enough, and you can have all the coffee you want :)

The toilet itself had some problems that you need to tweak to get it to flush, but nothing major, everything else worked fine.

Super friendly and helpful staff that helped us with a lot of our tour arrangements as well as other things. Very flexible. Warm, and genuinely caring staff.

The location is 20 minutes away from Cat Ba town and all the tourists, which is exactly what I was looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me book a cruise which was very enjoyable.

Butterflies. Cozy rooms. Motorbikes available. Laundry service was great to have Amazing small boat trip was organized to take us into small bays, past floating villages and kayaking.

With an amazing mountain view from the room and super friendly staff. I remember the moment that I opened the window to breathe some fresh air but I was amazed by the songbird which is totally in contrast with the noises from the town out there.

Room was clean and big. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was good.

The homestay was a beautiful, rustic location that was just perfect. There were chickens, ducks, and a cow roaming about, and we were surrounded by jungle. It was wonderfully quiet. The manager also had some excellent suggestions for activities and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Service was amazing and room is pretty spacious. Reception staff was really friendly and command of English was impressive. Definitely recommend!

Really nice location, bit further away from the center. Room was really cozy. We rented a scooter at the ecolodge which was really useful to get around the island.

Unique place on Cat Ba Island, very tranquil and lush in nature, away from the tourism hotspots - which can still be reached easily in 20 minutes or so. Great staff, great food, great service.

Staff is very friendly, you can rent scooter here, located in the middle of fishing village, incredible view, amazing swimming pool, nice breakfast, room really clean and spacious, you can also book bus ticket to go back to Hanoi. I highly recommend this place! Wished we stayed longer what an amazing place, we stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer. The property is set in a beautiful location overviewing garden and mountains. The host was very helpful and the food was super tasty. excellent value for money. It was perfect for our needs. Location was excellent away from the town. Stunning location authentic, friendly and very helpful. Excursions (boat trip and trekking) were organised for us. Absolutely wonderful staff.

Gorgeous setting in the village; remote enough to feel tranquility in nature but close enough to bike to town or villages for nearby food & drinks - Lovely big rooms & pool - Breakfast & dinner are both delicious & plentiful - The family are very friendly & kind We will 100% stay again in the future!

Quiet and beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff. Surroundings where magnificent in the middle of forest. The atmosphere is quiet and genuine, inviting you to slow down and enjoy the natural surroundings. The homestay is surrounded by greenery and fits beautifully into the landscape. It's also a **great spot for photography lovers**, thanks to its scenic and charming location.

La habitación está bien tiene todo lo necesario y la ubicación es perfecta.

El wifi no funcionaba o no llegaba a la habitación, las instalaciones no son como las imágenes, el desayuno terminaba a las 08:30, dos días fuimos a las 08:00 y ya no quedaba nada tampoco repusieron, muy escaso.

La ubicación, la limpieza, el desayuno... Lo recomiendo. El dueño nos ayudó en todo y fue todo amabilidad.

Teddy the manager was amazing...even took me on an adventure scooter ride through the nature reserves. Was so helpful with travel arrangements... Also he spoke English... and recommended Pu Luong as a place to explore... I'm here now and incredible. Thanks Teddy 🧸

Comfortable and clean, good central location, had laundry facilities and ability to book many tours through reception

Good location for shops, restaurants, motorbike rentals. The bed was comfortable We did not have our room cleaned whilst we were there and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, we think it was the drain.

The location was great close to the center, the rooms were very clean ! The staff was beyond nice, they helped us with everything from bike renting, to the day trip in the island, to planning our trip to Ha Giang and the loop. All for prices that were better than anything else we found elsewhere!

- there was little breakfast included in a price (4 options to choose - 3 egg variants and small pancake) - the rooms were big - good location - easy to book trips - Lan Ha trip was the best!

- bathroom could use some major repair - one of them had toilet with flush not working and damaged shower head, the other had water heater turning off randomly - towels we got were very worn out and had stains - we found a roach in a bathroom in the night - I know the breakfast was free but the coffee was undrinkable - there was a fish smell in the hotel corridors and in our bathroom

The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpfull. He can organise and provide everything you need. The boat trip we bought with him was great. Nice new boat with a very good lunc. The room was clean.

The receptionist, Linh, was extremely helpful and he spoke great English. He was the highlight of our stay <3 The rooms are ok, good value for the money, comfy beds, hot water in the shower. You can choose eggs or pancakes for breakfast, there's a common space where you can work. Location is good, Cat Ba town is really small. They have very cheap motors to rent and you can arrange your trips here too. Recommended!

The bathroom is kinda small compared to all the other ones we've had during our trip in Vietnam, bit it's ok.

Beds were very comfortable, big room with mini fridge, chairs and table, all this was nice to have.

Sadly there was no garden, terrace or any place to sit outside, so it should be corrected in the offer. Breakfast was not very good and it was really small. The worst coffee we drank in Vietnam.

The hotel is quite old which doesn't really show in the photos. It has a lift and my room was big with a big window. Bathroom was good. As with a lot of hotels in Asia it could do with a lick of paint and a deep clean. There was an issue with my room on arrival but the Manager corrected it immediately without question. Very helpful staff and excellent service. Breakfast was ordinary but that is typical of a lot of accomodation in Asia. The price was excellent and I think that it was very good value. They arranged an all day Serenity cruise of Lan Ha bay and it was cheaper than the Serenity website. Cat Ba town has major construction which is probably ruining it but there's nothing the locals can do. Very good jumping off point for Lan Ha Bay which is much better that Ha Long Bay.

Considering the price it was all good.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The owner and staff were very kind and always happy and helpful with booking tours and fixing problems. Overall really happy with the stay.

The first day we didn’t have any hot water but after complaining about it the owner fixed it right away. The fan in the bathroom gave a really bad smell but it went away if you turned it off. Breakfast was okay but very few options.
