- Pleasant serai smell all over the hotel. - The corridor and lobby were cold during hot weather. - Buggy service was available when needed. - Drinking water was provided.

- The road to parking was small and difficult to access. The parking was uncovered. The staff should have asked us to unload the luggage before going to parking. - The room was not clean thoroughly. Can see some leftover hairs on floor and dust on bedsheets... - The breakfast...was disappointing, very limited choice, choosing 1 out of 4, tasted not good too. It's fine to not having breakfast buffet but they didn't even serve ice under such hot weather. Reason given us is...no ice. - Cash deposit was needed! Strongly suggest they consider using credit card to collect deposit. - TV was not functioning... - Some amenities in bathroom was not refilled.

Smells of lemongrass is calming

Our room had poor cleanliness. The toilet smells. Coffee machine was not working. There was no welcome drinks as advertised and salt bath. Probably for influencers only. Breakfast starts at 8am. The cafe was closed.

I had a pleasant stay at Sojourn Spa Malala Hotel and overall enjoyed the experience. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was also generally clean and suitable for a relaxing stay.

One area that could be improved is the bathroom design. After taking a shower, water tends to spread across the entire bathroom floor, including the area around the toilet bowl. This makes the floor very wet and can be inconvenient and potentially slippery.

The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious even is ala carte order. Love the spa service.

The parking have to park behind which is inconvenient to go out at night

The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in to checkout. Fast Wi-Fi and a great breakfast made it even better. Perfect for anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay in Melaka. Highly recommend!"

Aucune possibilité de s'allonger au bord de la minuscule piscine. Juste une table et 4 chaises. Le restaurant était en cours d'aménagements. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas un buffet mais vous avez 4 choix plutôt tristes. Le café était très mauvais, prenez le plutôtdans la cafetière de la Chambre. Emplacement en bord, de grand e route.

Location is not walking distance to anything much….but can take grab to Jonker street.

1) Helpful kitchen crew. I passed an apple that I brought from oppoisite food shop, the crew was willing cut it for me. 2) The room's temperature is always stays at a comfortable temperature without using the room card 3) It is Environmental friendly - glass bottle of drinking water

1) Roof top Garden is not ready for use yet - no lights at night time 2) In the room, the lemon grass smell not enough strong as I expected...

Had a really nice stay here last week. The environment was great and the whole place smelled so good. There's a big parking area and they have buggy to pick you from the parking. The staff really nice and friendly. The room was comfortable and I loved that it had a bathtub. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely come back again.

i like its spa-like ambience. the smell of the hotel was so calming. the room was clean and comfortable. the spa is a must! the massage was so so good 2 hours was not enough haha

The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. The room is also fragrant. There is a qiblat direction and prayer mat is also provided for Muslim residents. They also provide buggy to bring customer from parking lot to hotel lobby. Its good for old people as they don't have to walk then.

The overall design of the room - colour , space planning, lighting and the bathroom provided a very restful and comfortable stay for us. The buggy service that bring us to the carpark is an excellent idea.

Paint work that came off the wooden claddings in the room and lift, and corridor ought to be touched up as it is quite unsightly.

The facilties is quite old and need to improve....bath tub not really clean.. Car park entrance too narrow..... not really like it, will not go for second visit!

I've been here for several times, whenever I came to Malacca. However, I noticed the conditions of the room and facilities (e.g Lift) is getting older. For room, the ceiling was moldy due to water leakage, found used toothbrush in bathroom after check-in on the shower gel tray (the cleaning wasn't done properly), I wasn't sure are they providing toiletries but at the time I check-in there ain't any, but luckily I used to bring my own so it wasn't a big issue for me. The bathtub hot water was inconsistent, I couldn't enjoy hot water in bathtub as the water turning cold very quickly when the tub water not even half full yet.

Breakfast was good and staffs friendly.

They provided coffee maker in the room with capsules but no sugar and milk even when we asked for it.

The conditions provided at the property varied from the photos shown. Furnitures at facility are old: squeaking beds, average sound proof (noise from street, since the property is next to roadside), mouldy bathroom and shower area, rusted sink cupboard. The pool is not swim-able, given the size. With the price paid and the stars given of this property, i strongly feel that i deserve more!

I like the ambience of a boutique hotel. The room is small but has all the necessary amenities. The ambience and fragrant smell of lemongrass is refreshing. The room is very clean with coffee machine and some biscuits. Staff are friendly.

The room is rather small, eventhough it has all the necessary amenities. Parking my car was quite tricky as the passage to the car park is very narrow with a sharp 90 deg turn. A big car will have problems entering the car park. Breakfast menu has limited choice, but the food is freshly cooked.

Notre chambre donnait sur une rue. Vous entendez le bruit des véhicules malgré le double vitrage . Vue pas top. Les chambres ne sont pas nettoyées tous les jours et il faut demander pour faire changer les serviettes. Nous avions pris le petit déjeuner inclus mais vous êtes limité au nombre de boisson,vous choisissez soit un café soit un jus de fruit si vous prenez les 2 vous serez facturé d' une boisson...

The place was really clean, with a bathtub. Just that the breakfast was ala carte.it was presentable.For some reason our aircond didn't work that night. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The ambience was good, and calm.Will come for stay again.

Paling selesa dan murah ! Siap ada swimming pool, bersih, staff friendly, dan siap ade shuttle walaupon dekat je pergi ke parking. Tapi senang lah bawak barang sebab ada shuttle. Biskut kelapa yang di sediakan dalam bilik pon sedap !

Bathroom bath and glass window were ridiculous and a safety issue First room we were allocated had broken toilet; tel didn't work: I booked a twin room but bed was dbl. Room noisy. They moved us and we were satisfied.

Staffs are well trained, friendly and approachable. We first being moved by buggy car from parking lot to the hotel (though it is just nearby). I love the smell and serenity feeling of the surrounding in this hotel. There is one mamak eatery and one Malay "rumah makan" nearby, in walking distance. The small disadvantage is that they don't have buffet breakfast, which I think would be an additional selling point :)

Location is alright we knew it’d be a 10 min drive to Jonker

The maintenance can do a lot better. For the property’s age & occupancy rate, surely they can afford better maintenance. There was mould on the bathroom walls, stains on walls, floor of the lift was cracked, our TV has connectivity issue which we asked for help but no one came. Service wise, we asked for room cleaning but no one came. We called the receptionist to ask at 2pm ish and they sailed housekeeping service starts at 3pm. Not sure how true is this. Asked for extra towels and the receptionist asked: Why? Because housekeeping didn’t come. But do I really need to give a reason for extra towels? I also knew the soundproofing was non existent so came with the rightful expectations.

The amazing smell of lemongrass throughout the hotel! Good restaurant on site. Free water (and in glass reusable bottles). Some nice touches in the room - fresh lime and salt for scrub, jasmine tea, robe, slippers and complimentary biscuits. Good WiFi. Spa and a very small pool (which we did not try). Free golf cart pick up from the car park if required (or it’s a 15 second walk!). Plenty of car park space. Grabs readily available from the hotel.

No information in the room about the Spa (treatments, etc.) and restaurant. A guide would be helpful. The roof terrace could do with some imagination and money being spent. This could be transformed into something special. Water bottles could be replaced more regularly (often none left Friday - Sunday). Nice bath but unfortunately it did not hold the water. There were quite a few black hairs in the bathroom on check in. The property is a bit further out from the centre, but we did sort of know this and Grabs are very cheap.

The receptionists there are extremely kind and helpful. We had issues with our initial room and the front desk staff Leni assisted us with patience and professionalism. Which makes the whole experience a little more bearable. Drinking water is provided in sanitised bottles where you can refill anytime which is great.

Cleanliness is a major issue. With the price paid, hotel room is pretty worn down. Shower area was not properly separated from toilet area, drainage system wasn’t working properly and half of the bathroom would be flooded when you shower. Trying to enjoy your bath in the bathtub is no better, water would leak out and wet the floor, stains here and there in the bathroom. We requested for a change of room and got offered to switch to a Villa room type. We are grateful that Leni assisted as much as she could, but it’s worth noting that there’s another elder staff who asked whether me and my partner have slept in the bed or use the amenities in the room, as if that would make any difference. Villa is very spacious though extremely dim. When we checked in bathroom floor was recently washed which was fine until we notice there are a lot of lizard droppings along the wall in the bathroom, even some inside the bathtub. We have been upgraded to this room so we merely cleaned some up and bear with it for the rest of our stays, imagine customers who booked this room for special occasions, it would be quite a let down that the room is not even properly cleaned.

The room was nice but I’m totally pissed off with their breakfast. Never mentioned it’s a non budget Style. Only on that day appear to know per head per meal would be serve. Totally dissapointed.

Maybe disebabkan dia combine with spa, so masa utk mandi pool tu sgt singkat. Saya tk sempat nk bawa anak utk mandi pool. Utk breakfast meal harap dapat mempelbagaikan lg menu

The room was very comfy, well decorated, had nice ammenities and for the price it was really really good. The staff were also super helpful and very accomodating. Also got a massage during the stay and OMG it was the best I have had so far in Malaysia
