Location is perfect, hotel is close to everything you need but at the same time private enough that you don’t notice the busy district.

Overpriced compared to other hotels close by offering more. Stairs to rooms were steep and would be reluctant in selecting again. Tied to restaurant that’s prices were higher than others offering the same.

We loved the property and will definitely start our trip here again. Best service on the mainland And the lobster was amazing

For a 3 star hotel l was extremely impressed with the extras l found in my room. Very comfortable bed & pillows, water dispenser unit, coffee machine, tea making facilities, extendable clothes line in huge shower, Sensatia products, oil burner in bathroom (lemongrass scent), couch plus additional couch on balcony. Their pool loungers are the comfiest I've ever come across.

The only negative was the missing lower rung on the pool ladder, as this made getting out a little bit difficult for some, however they are onto getting it fixed.

Prices in resto for basic Indonesian cuisine was too expensive

This was our first time staying at Rama Garden and we were definitely not disappointed. The room was lovely - neat, tidy and quite spacious (and the coffee pod machine was a fantastic bonus). The towel art was fantastically creative with a different animal everyday. The location right in the heart of Legian was great. The staff were always cheerful and friendly and made us feel at home. The pool was large, suitably cool and clean (it seemed that as soon as a leaf or a flower fell in there was a staff member ready to scoop it out). We enjoyed ourselves so much that, before we left, we booked for another stay next year.

A bit of a struggle in trying to find a vacant sun lounge but managed to find one most of the time

Loved our stay. Rooms very clean.. only approx 30 rooms. Always chairs around the pool. Staff so attentive and always there to help.. having washing machines and dryers for everyone to use.. pool so clean and great temperature. First time to stay and We will be back.

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. Not enough variety and not hot.. because of breakfast we didn't eat there at other times of the day or night. And we heard they do fantastic Seafood, but breakfast put us off.. that is our only disappointment. We will still return..

Location was amazing, Rooms i felt were a little tired but couldn't complain about the price. Staff were fabulous, all so welcoming,attentive and professional. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely come back again.

felt the rooms were a bit tired,window in bathroom had gaps. it also faced the pool courtyard so didnt feel as private. Bed was good but for me personally a bit too firm.

We’ve stayed in many places in Legian and this is our second time in Rama Gardens and honestly we won’t stay anywhere else again. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful big bathroom and the bed is so comfortable. They are clean and equipped with a water tanker, coffee machine, kettle, fridge. The staff are so happy and attentive. The pool area is beautiful and the location is right in the middle of everything.

We love everything about the Rama Gardens, we don’t stay anywhere else when travelling to Bali. The staff go above and beyond, the rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable and food in the restaurant is excellent. We have stayed twice now and planning on coming back yearly. It is also perfectly located to garlic lane and the beach, you can walk everywhere.

Had a really nice stay while in Legian. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. It's a small and peaceful hotel in a busy area of town. Has a free laundry area too which is useful!

Location & Pool

Room 205 requires an update, air con noisy, mould in shower, power point broken in bathroom, ceiling light to bathroom entrance not working , wooden bed base dangerous as it protrudes out, distance from bed to water cooler very narrow, not soundproof -hear guest and staff . Staff very noisy at 6.30am - taking loudly.

Lovely homely clean, excellent staff, fantastic dinners and brilliant location. Really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was supportive of steralizing the stray cats. One successfully done and they will work with Lisa Lockyer to catch the others. Highly recommend 👌

Location is excellent, nice and quiet, all staff are amazing especially Oki who works so hard to look after her guests, the restaurant food is fabulous especially the seafood and lobster ceremony. Whilst breakfast is ok this is the only area in my view that could be improved a bit to match the general restaurant high standard compared to other places we have stayed We have already provided this feedback to the GeneralManager Norman, we would absolutely stay again next year

Our experience in two words: BAGUS SEKALI

The room was perfect for us. Small but well designed and excellent layout to feel spacious fof 2. Pool was sparkling.Is open areas but felt private and quiet. Location is incredible for that busy bar/beach Legian loud vibe. Coffee machine and pods were indonesian coffee and beautiful. Filtered water on tap. Shower huge with hot water and good pressure, nice toiletries. Staff felt like personal butlers, they are excellent. Restuarant is very good. Worth the little extra for the giant comfortable bed!! Overall, well worth it.

If it was adults only it really would be perfect.

First time ive stayed at Rama Gardens Hotel. It was absolutely brilliant. Lovely room, wonderful pool at my doorstep, fantastic Restaurant and beautiful staff. Position Jl Padma perfect. The price amazing! I visit Bali every year...Rama Gardens Hotel will be my home away from home now!!

First time 3 room family stay. Couple of problems when we arrived there at 1am, regarding rooms. Had to move rooms again in morning, much to all of our displeasure. Little rowdy in rooms up front of Hotel. Swimming pool a little murky. Staff were helpful, breakfast ok and excellent seafood for dinner. Location of hotel is marvellous, not on beach but thats only a short stroll down the road. Shopping, massages and everything you need, all so close.

We had an amazing stay at Rama Garden Stay! The hospitality was exceptional from start to finish—everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The room was spotless, smelled incredible, and we didn’t see a single bug during our stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in, making it easy to get a great night’s rest. We also loved that the amenities were from Sensatia—they smelled wonderful and felt really high quality. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place with outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend Rama Garden Stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of Rama Garden Hotel is amazing, close to the beach, good cafes and classic Bali shopping. The staff were incredible with our family of six - warm and lovely. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

Awesome location and facilities - including a laundry free for guests! The staff are exceptionally friendly. Special mention to housekeeping staff to created a new towell art piece for us each day! We highly recommend Rama Garden!

Loved the pool area and super friendly staff that make the effort to remember your name and are only too happy to help. Appreciated the freedom to use washing machine. You'd be in great company if youre a good card Aussie who enjoy sports bars.

Facilities mostly good but a little lacking in plumbing area (leaking shower head that wouldn't hold itself up). Bigger drying rack would have been amazing but not essential. Main concern was food hygiene with drunk lizards eating the pastries and breakfast buffet.

Everything about this property is great, the room, the cleanliness, the staff, the food, the location. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

There is cheaper out there sure, however the staff make it worthwhile

We are an older couple and loved everything about our stay at Rama Gardens. Cleanliness, staff, comfy bed, bottled water at room temperature, iced and boiling on tap, good pool. Great position to restaurants, shops and beach. We would certainly like to return.

It was in a great location, the bed was really comfortable and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was very tasty. The lobster looked amazing (and apparently was cooked to perfection according to some guests next to me who had it). It was very quiet, which meant i had a good night sleep. The pool was nice and clean too. The coffee there was perfect (I am a coffee snob).

I wish there were towel hooks in the bathroom, but that is such a minor thing.

Great atmosphere hidden behind the hustle and bustle. Once you’re inside, it has this relaxed, community vibe that honestly reminds me of Melrose Place. Close to everything and such a great place to stay.

Great location in Legian, close to everything. Beach a short walk and Garlic Lane around the corner. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Pool was lovely and a relaxing haven from busy Legian. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Food was good, had breakfast each morning.

Location, staff, size of hotel. Small hotel, built around pool. All rooms have access to the pool. Don’t have to walk to get to the pool like larger hotels. Rooms are Bali style and a little dated as most value based hotels are however they put a lot of effort to make it feel more inviting , bath robes, coffee pod machine, clean towels daily. You are steps away from garlic lane and a 4 min walk to beach. The restaurant for dinner is excellent, I would recommend not having breakfast there.

Brilliant location, right amongst it! And the biggest, most comfiest bed we’ve ever had in all our Bali stays. We will be back!

We visit beautiful Bali 3-4 times a year and have done for over 30 years, we have dined at Rama Gardens Restaurant several times and often wondered about staying, wish we would have years ago, the rooms, the staff and the location is fantastic. We would normally stay at The Padma however it is getting too pricey and for a bed and shower its not realistic, I highly recommend staying at Rama Gardens Hotel you wont regret it.

The room and staff were lovely. I had one lunch at the hotel and breakfast each day as I was busy elsewhere.

Unfortunately, Legian is not really for me. Nothing to do with the hotel it's simply the location.

The location was perfect. The staff were all fantastic especially thecguys who cleaned the room and in the restaurant. The atmosphere was always friendly. Rooms were surprisingly roomy. We got great value for money.

Excellent quiet boutique style hotel. Perfect location in Legian. Spacious, well appointed rooms with lovely staff. Very comfortable beds and all rooms have filtered hot and cold water for drinks. Highly recommend in all areas.

I asked the reception if I could watch a Premier league match at 7.30 on the following day and was promised a couple of screens to watch my favourite football team. The next day I went to reception at 7.00 pm To confirm every thing was still OK, only to be told that every tv in the hotel was showing Aussie rules, and not one tv could be scared for my premier league game even though the hotel bar was not very crowded. This has happened to me before in Bali and I won't be going back there in the future. I no longer trust Balinese staff to keep their promises

As a returning guest I was thrilled to receive a hand written note welcoming me home and a bowl of fruit . The bed is so comfortable . The hotel is small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed and you can mix with other guests around the pool if you choose . The atmosphere is lovely and they have live music and a good variety of food for the buffet breakfast and on the menu .

Overall the location, staff, room all were great! Also we checkout late with extra charges which was amazing option as our flight was for the afternoon

Me and my husband both only had 1 complaint which was the toilet flush! It was slow and weak, we had to hold on the flush for a good min at every use, frustrating! Also reception lady tried to over charge us which was a bit sad, as overall all staff were amazing! Upon check in we were told by the same female that checkout will be 12pm and or we can play extra 100k per hour! We checked out today at 2pm and the lady asked us for 300k for 2 hours extra. When I told her that the rate advised was 100k per hour before, she quickly said okay 200k. It was a bit sus but overall great place

our new bome in Legian can't believe we have never stayed here previously, wanting to come back in August but no vavancies, that could become a problem ,so may not get to experience it again. would have scored a 10 but for ,unfortunately a couple of drunken bogans. maybe staff need to monitor the pool late evenings better.
