Staff was nice, food was tasty.
Very noisy, upper rooms moved furniture until midnight, we could hear ajacent rooms, and there was some construction in the site. In addition, it is loxated on a steep hill, which creates difficulties for cars to access, this means you are dependant on hotel's pickup waiting for them to come you to and from the hotel. Not convenient at all.
The resort in its overall experience was quite well. It was very comfortable to stay with my toddler. The rooms were spacious. The food was very good except for a few dishes. The amenities were also well.
The location was located on a cliff with a steep roadway.
رائع موقعه

The rooms are spacious, neat, and very clean. Essential toiletries, including toothbrushes and soap, were provided. The room also features a large TV that comes fully loaded with all major OTT and streaming subscriptions. Swimming Pool: The best feature of the resort. It is clean and offers lovely scenic views. The complimentary breakfast spread was tasty and well-arranged. The resort drivers were very courteous, skilled, and helpful.
The approach road to the resort passes near a rocky area and is a concrete road with an extremely steep incline. The issue isn’t ground clearance, but the sheer slope of the climb. If another vehicle comes down from the opposite direction while you are climbing, stopping midway makes it nearly impossible and very dangerous to restart and pull forward on that steep gradient. It is best to call the resort beforehand and rely on their experienced drivers to handle the drive. Because the property sits above this hazardous slope, it is strongly advisable to avoid staying here during heavy monsoon seasons. Minibar & Service Issue The room has a mini-fridge stocked with snacks and drinks (Snickers, Coca-Cola, cashews, etc.), but these carry a steep 50% markup above MRP. At the time of booking, I specifically requested that no chargeable items be kept in the room. Despite following up twice after check-in, the staff never removed them. Views & Activities: Outside of the pool area, there are no special viewpoints on the property, and on-site activities are practically non-existent. non-complimentary lunch and dinner at the resort restaurant are quite expensive. A practical alternative is to drive about 1.5 km down to Anachal town, where you will find good restaurants serving delicious, budget-friendly food.
The Breakfast spread was good, friendly and courteous staff.
There is no permit room. Being a hill station, having a nice restobar will be an added attraction to the property.

Peaceful for family
The view while swimming. The restaurant is amazing..foods were really good in taste
Best location & comfortable stay.
Bathroom was small...overall all good.
Overall, we had a good stay at the resort, but there were a few issues that were disappointing. The bathroom had no normal (cold) water available—only hot water. Although someone came to fix it, afterwards the water flow became very weak, even when the tap was fully open. The hand-held shower was also not working because the selector pin used to switch between the overhead and hand-held shower was broken. When we reported it, we were told to pull the remaining narrow pin manually, which was difficult and inconvenient to use. The TV would not turn on initially because we couldn't locate its power switch. The switch was not near the TV but beside the bedside table. We were informed that it had been labelled, but the sticker was missing, making it very difficult to find. The swimming pool water was cold, even though the resort stated that the pool would be heated with warm water. This was disappointing, as we were expecting a warm pool based on the information provided. These are not the kind of issues we expected from a resort of this standard. Aside from these maintenance concerns, the resort was good overall, and we otherwise enjoyed our stay.
A beautiful property with scenic surroundings, though the drive up can be a bit challenging. The estate offers both rooms and cottages, with the cottages being especially charming. Mornings here are truly picturesque and serene.
The room AC was not functioning properly, the TV connection was faulty, the Wi‑Fi had issues, and the remotes were not working.

The food was awesome!
The view from my balcony room was pretty underwhelming.
We had a fabulous stay
Everything
No complaints
Elephant Passage is one of the most pristine and majestic resorts seen on our trip through India! Staying there turned out to be a real stroke of luck. Special thanks go to the friendly and professional Santusha on reception who worked hard to make the stay enjoyable and who attended to our every need! The room was spacious and luxurious with is own balcony and outdoor seating area. Exceptional, healthy and freshly-prepared food and drink provided throughout the stay. Plenty of activities and events on every day. Touring the grounds was charming. The views from the poolside of the valleys below were breathtaking and the resort proved the perfect springboard into the luscious and exquisite Munnar area. Be sure to see the elephants!
It couldn't have been better!
The food at the restaurant was always fresh and delicious. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. It is soo peaceful!
The only complaint is that at night the property is not well light. We have diminished eyesight, so having a flashlight in the room would be soo helpful.
Nothing
Worst experience ever. I had a confirmed booking and started a 7-hour journey to reach the hotel. While I was already on the way, they suddenly cancelled my reservation claiming it was their mistake. This is completely unacceptable. There was no prior notice, no apology, and absolutely no responsibility taken from their side. I reached the destination and was forced to travel back another 7 hours because of their error. This caused me extreme stress, exhaustion, and put me in a very embarrassing situation. Despite this being entirely their fault, they did not offer any alternative accommodation, did not try to help in any way, and completely ignored my requests for assistance. Even worse, I still have not received my refund. At the time, I didn’t even have enough money and had to borrow just to book another hotel. This is unacceptable behavior. Very unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful treatment of guests. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
staff approach at reception was not good
good breakfast.very helpful chef called Biju and frontoffice too, named Reshma.Grat valets who handle your car requirements promptly.house keeping is excellent and the surrounds are beautiful, with great views.Well away from the hustle and bustle of the town, which has become pretty bad.
Be aware that your car is parked away from entrance lobby and it takes a few minutes for the valet to get it.this is because the property is on a hill side and parking is not easy. Nonetheless, the valets do a really good job,so certainly not a sticking point
The room and grounds were beautiful
Was not easy to have someone answer phone to start and the jacuzzi room had a bad odor with water leaving a lot to desire
Facilities and the rooms
Location bit far and steep up.
Perched in the mountain top, yet camouflaged from a distance, it offered us both sunrise and sunset — the first, worshipped during the complimentary yoga sessions led by Suresh; the latter, gazed from the infinity pool with the mountain in the horizon. It is a quiet place with wonderful staff, eager to make our journey pleasant.
It is a family hotel and kids tend to be noisy and loud. Perhaps setting a time for no kids in the pool to have some quiet in such a beautiful setting? There are some signs of fatigue in some details of the infrastructure that will need some love and attention very soon.
The Place is AWESOME .Its on Hill Top very beautiful constructed specially the surrounding which has a pathway for a small Trek surrounding the property ,which gives a feel of the jungle and exictment .As ther are no walls on the pathway and we can see a deep valley.Mornig walk is recommended.
Food Tastes is nit up to the Mark.Need to include local taste.
The location was unique and immaculate! We enjoyed the swimming pool and the room was spacious.
The restaurant was poorly managed and the hotel being on a cliff, we had nowhere else to go. The jacuzzi was not cleaned and hence we couldn’t use it. For a 5 Star property, the overall experience was disappointing.
Spectacular views, spectacular pool, impeccably maintained.
Perhaps the Elephant Passage is a victim of its own success, because the number of guests at breakfast was overwhelming…Would suggest food be replenished more frequently, so that those that don’t arrive super early can still get cut fruit, yogurt, etc. Omelettes were a good idea!
I booked the room which was named Jacuzzi with valley view or something like that. The photos was misleading. We taught the jacuzzi was in the big space near the large window with the view but what we got had Jacuzzi but it was inside the bathroom. So confirm with them before.
The property is very modern, while remaining well integrated into nature
The beautiful view , the stuff were friendly, helpful, kind and professional. The room was clean and big.
Beautiful property in the teahills. A great swimming pool, massive room with a fab balcony and an attached (but separate) spa pool / hot tub under neath the room. The staff were wonderful and the food was great - we ate there every night,
The hot tub takes a good 45mins to fill - but thats a minor gripe.
The view and the swimming pool
The service was really poor, unfriendly and unhelpful staff Hard to access
Food was great!
The views are great and the property is well maintained!
Hot water did not work, shower knobs were stuck and not easy to switch shower heads, the food at the hotel was terrible (except some items on the breakfast) the taxis they arranged were dirty and old.
The kitchen was very good.
The property has good architectural design, and the location is also very good feeling a sense of jungle

La location e la struttura sono molto belle. La piscina a sfioro vista foresta. Il cibo di buona qualità
Il servizio un po' approssimativo anche se il personale è gentile e sempre disponibile. Pochissima scelta di cucina internazionale

Excellent location, huge but cozy rooms with exceptional ambience and facilities. The pool and view from pool area was gorgeous.
There is a very steep and narrow climb for about a kilometer to the hotel for which a 4-wheel drive is recommended.
We had a great stay with our two young kids. The cottage room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Lovely view from the balcony and quiet. Room was well equipped. Staff was also top notch and very kind & helpful. One of the highlights was the nightly bonfire with music and entertainment, lead by the duty manager Suresh, who is an absolutely amazing person and made our stay very memorable. It was also great for the kids and an opportunity to meet the other guests. A further big highlight was the food. We had both breakfast and dinner included in our room and both meals were amazing. Everything was simply delicious and the selection at the buffet was huge and varied. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
The pool had a lovely view but the surroundings were not that well maintained. Same for the spice garden and walking trail. They were both nice but with a bit more effort (like removing the trash from the garden) it could have been even nicer. Still, these are minor things compared to all the good/great aspects of our stay.
Bipin, Sanusha, Biju Peter & Aleena Matthew’s were highlights of our trip. All the staff were great but these 4 team members were exceptional. Rooms were nice. The food was exceptional, really nice buffet for breakfast & dinner with A La Cart options. The executive chef was outstanding. We will be back when we next visit India. Thank you!
Would have been interested to know more about the Spa, I didn’t bother asking because no one mentioned it. The quantity of towels in room and lack of toilet paper. It seemed when you called to ask for more they were quick and to say yes but they don’t appear until another few calls. We found it a little tricky to find on Google maps but when we called they gave us directions. There was no bae and the hotel has no licence to serve alcohol. Had I know this prior to coming we would have booked else where. With the restaurant closing at 10pm there really is no where as a group to chill.

The hotel amongst the trees. Peaceful. The pool was a nice place to relax The breakfasts and buffet.
We had an incredible stay at Elephant Passage. The activity manager provided outstanding service, offering a variety of realistic suggestions for local activities, which were instrumental in planning our dream family trip. Coupled with the excellent dinner, the entire resort experience was superb.
The comfortable rooms, courteous and helpful staff, smooth service, and the calm natural surroundings with beautiful views from the balconies.
Nothing significant to mention; overall, the experience met our expectations.
Nice location with perfect sunset view. Polite staff members who were always ready to help. They arranged upon request a nice packed breakfast for our early hike. We had an issue with shower drain which was resolved quickly. Overall highly recommended. The room was quite spacious.
The road is very steep to reach the hotel, which explains the amazing view. Unfortunately, our room was right below the kitchen, therefore we heard some noise in the night.
Die Lage
Service Lautes Zimmer neben der Küche Essens Geruch Keine Reinigung des Zimmers, kein Wasser
We loved the pool and setting. The room was lovely
We hoped there would more help to organise guided walks to see the splendour and experience more of Munnar which we had to organise ourselves
Mooie ruime kamer Buffet was rijkelijk en lekker Kregen ontbijt mee, moesten vroeg op voor een hike. Mooi zwembad
Rooms ,Food,staff
There is no entertainment in the property, suitable for official trip not for family holiday trip
Great place with high standard of service and top facilities. The dinner buffet is excellent. They even packed a nice breakfast to go on our departure day. It is a family place (lots of children were there during our stay).
Noise from kitchen till late night forced us to request to change room. Second room was better.
Spread was limited, but taste and quality is good.
Not worth the money we are paying
