Location is a quiet sanctuary away from roads, traffic and noise, an oasis. Hotel is very clean and all the staff always exceeded expectations and we felt very welcomed and comfortable.

Scenic IHCL met my expectations. Excellent staff and service. Great place to also unwind and relax. I would definitely come back and highly recommend the stay at this hotel.

Nestled among the hills of Munnar, this place offered a serene and peaceful escape. Check-in was smooth and swift, and our spotless room came with an extra bed provided on request without delay. Breakfast and dinner featured excellent variety and quality. We stayed two nights but wished for more. I'd highly recommend this gem to friends and family—the team, including Mritunjay, Rajnish, Sweta, Santu, and everyone else, was efficient and courteous throughout.

Staff were excellent, Palani who manages the activities took us on a jeep ride around Munnar, specially curated based on our interests and requirements.... being a local knows the in and out of Munnar and we really enjoyed the trip with him..... anyone going there should avail his services and it will be guaranteed fun....the SPA experience was also very pleasant and an added attraction here

Food options specially Kerala cuisine was not up to the mark probably because it is manned by cooks from other regions.....the traditional combination for Puttu which was available is generally Kadala curry but the option available was potato curry.....small details in planning the menu will definitely help improve customer delight as well as give true Kerala/Munnar holiday experience

From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking panoramic views from the lobby deck left us utterly mesmerized — a picture-perfect introduction to this tranquil retreat. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were pampered at every step, anticipating our needs with genuine warmth and attention to detail. We would especially like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Harshita at the lobby, Praveen and Rajneesh in the restaurant, and Kunal, the talented chef — each of whom made our stay memorable through their professionalism and personal touch. For anyone seeking a luxurious escape amidst nature, complemented by exceptional service, Scenic IHCL SeleQtions is an absolute must-visit.

Staying at this hotel made us feel at ease and the safest we could imagine while away from home. The people there and their services were outstanding. Our particular shout out to Anoj Abhishek. He drove us to and from our villa. He was the sweetest and attentive to our needs.

The place is new. Spick & span. Premise is overwhelming. Staff/Anson is very helpful & accommodating.

Location was in a quiet area with awesome views Loved the sounds.like walking in a tropical jungle Birds and frogs chirping all around.like a symphony in surround sound Dolby ! Our rooms had awesome views and bathrooms had an open air ambiance with rain showers and soaking tub. Vinesh our porter and club car valet was always there when needed.Restaurant staff and food was also top notch.Wished we stayed a little longer.A must stay at Taj when in Munnar !

Location. It has the bones of being a good property but sadly management has been the let down.

Beware when booking through booking.com after I had breakfast I was asked to sign the invoice. When I asked why would I be signing this as I bought package where breakfast was included. They said no and gave me the run around for a full day. I refused to pay extra and finally they said they will sort the issue with booking.com spoilt my stay. Also cleaning in room is not up to mark. They gave us one bathrobe and we were a family of 2. Had to ask for basic amenities as soap shampoo containers were tiny. The mats leading to room were all wet due to rain - they need to be better quality as staff bought in muddy shoes. The pool in the villas is also is not heated and it was freezing during our stay. Breakfast options were ok definitely not worth the money. This property surely can’t be Taj managed as it is quite basic. Paint in our room near study table was all chipped. I have stayed at numerous 5 star 6 star venues this is basically 3 star. On arrival day staff should go through what’s included in the package like other properties so guests exactly know what is there.

Staff were very kind, got an upgrade to the top level bungalow with a large plunge pool. Food was great, grounds of the resort are beautifully designed and maintained. Bed was soft and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone to stay.

Room was a little dusty but this appears to be due to the fact that they don’t vacuum. Rather they use a dry mop, which is fine. Additionally, it’s surrounded by (beautiful) rain forest so a little dust is totally understandable.

The swimming pool and property plunge pool need to be a little warmer. Also they need to better respond to requests for drinks by the pool or on the terrace. When by the pool service took 1 hour for some soft drinks.

Every aspect of our visit met our expectations. The design of the resort, the rooms, the gardens, the food and staff: all marvellous. A special mention for the activities manager, Mr Palani.

This property was absolutely amazing. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The property is clean, comfortable and surrounded by lush green. The grounds are stunning with all the beautiful flowers and very well maintained. Compared to a regular hotel, you can go for a little stroll outside around the grounds. It is extremely peaceful and all you can hear are the birds, a true gem in the region. The room was very spacious and had a lovely bathroom and balcony with an amazing view. The wifi was very quick. The restaurant was light and super clean and the food was absolutely phenomenal, they have a choice of local cuisine and international. All the food we had was outstanding and fresh. They always give complementary water. I have a severe allergy to gluten (celiac disease) As soon as I entered the restaurant, the chef came straight over and made food especially for me that was safe. I would like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Vidya and all the staff at the restaurant for going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and with many extra special touches they added for us. I would also like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Sveta at reception for ensuring we had a comfortable stay and giving us a beautiful room. She was very helpful in helping organise transport etc.. This resort has little reviews as it is a new property! I would highly recommend staying here. It was by far the best place we stayed in in Kerala. An absolute Gem and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back.

The property is new and modern with gorgeous rooms, high quality amenities, a beautiful pool and luscious gardens. The restaurant staff were superb and the food served was delicious. After 3 weeks of travelling in India, I finally had a real, flaky croissant at Scenic! Special thanks to Sweta for the upgrade to my parents room. Much appreciated.

The buggy service needs to be much better organised. Out of the 4 times we ordered the service, we only got it twice and ended up walking the rest of the time...which was not ideal for my elderly parents. Some maintenance and appliance checks need to be done e.g. the drainage in the shower in Room 126 was not functioning well...I had to stand in a pool of water while showering. Similarly, the kettle in Room 128 was not working and had to be replaced. For a Taj hotel, I was disappointed that the rooms had creamer instead of actual milk.

All facilities are excellent

There was no facility to place the soap in the bathroom in one of the two rooms we stayed. Every day I reminded the staff to fit one. They did not bother and they knew this problem existed for a long. They pass my request as it is a design issue. It makes no sense to me if it is an admin problem or a design problem. I did not like this aspect.

Staff were excellent, in particular Mr Ajith and Mr Kiran at HUB . Swimming pool and GYM should be taken care more.

The property itself is brilliantly maintained. The staff will go that extra mile to exceed ones expectations. Truly a memorable vacation it was. I cant say enough of the food, everything we had was too good.

They should cover the sitting area in the balcony. Otherwise theres nothing to not like.

The stafff was very friendly. Very beautiful property. The gym trainer Romin was very helpful. Food was amazing too.

Situated amidst the lush tropical forests of Kerala's western high ranges, the hotel is at an altitude of around 3500 ft. Weather is pleasant with occasional drizzle and turns refreshingly chilly in the afternoons accompanied by mists that envelop both the hotel and its surroundings. Named aptly as "Scenic," the property offers breathtaking views of mountains and valleys, with mornings serenaded by the chirping of birds. There is a yoga deck, pool, and spa, where traditional Ayurvedic massages can be done. Rooms are spacious, some featuring private swimming pools and balconies. At this moment only one restaurant is operational at the property with a buffet breakfast and ala carte lunch and dinner options. Munnar town is 30 minutes away. Staff are polite and friendly though some need a bit more training and the property management needs to focus on this. Linens, towels are fresh, new and clean. I will highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to Scenic.

We had a great stay at the Scenic Hotel! Especially the staff at this property makes the real difference. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The service you get is really special. And so is the property, everything is new and well made. The rooms are big and luxurious and equipped with a big glass window with insect protection so you can leave the window open all day long and let the jungle vibes in without any annoying insects. We had an hike through tea plantations up on a 2100m hill wich was organised by the receptionist. Our local Tourguide named Akku made a great job by the way, many thanks! Regarding the food is my recommendation to everyone: book with breakfast and dinner included, fist because there aren’t many options around, second because the food! It’s absolutely brilliant, especially the Indian dishes! I would definitely recommend the Scenic to everyone who would ask me where to stay around Munnar.
