The rooms were a fair size

The staff was rude

I really loved the food, it was absolutely delicious, fresh and well prepared. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The service was excellent and the warm atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable.

The bathroom towels are quite worn out and need to be replaced. The threads were coming out around the edges of all the towels, making them look old and poorly maintained. I would recommend replacing them with new, good-quality towels to improve the overall experience.

Sunday morning the room phones were not working, so I eventually had to leave the room to arrange breakfast in bed.

Cleanliness was not at the standard I expected from the property. I noticed cobwebs around the windows, some floors did not appear properly cleaned, and the guest toilets felt more like public mall facilities than hotel restrooms. I also noticed members of the housekeeping team sitting together chatting in a corner, which stood out given some of the cleanliness issues.Service responsiveness could also improve. We waited approximately an hour for an iron despite following up

Like the overall concept and look but very dated.

Dated, no good lighting in the bathroom or anywhere to do make up. Noisy. There was a party going on and although I was told it would be over by 10 pm ish at 1130 pm it was still going in full swing. Nobody answering reception desk so had to get out of bed and cover my pyjamas to complain. Finally around 0030 it became quiet but then at 6 am noises start

Location is good if you want to have easy access to highway, be central to get to Sandton or Centurion. Restaurant are close, less than 1 km and Mall of Africa is a 5 min drive. The staff are extremely helpful and aim to please.

The environment is cold, not well maintained, and definitely requires a clean up. The room decor is dark adding to a lack of coziness. Air conditioning barely works, curtains do not close properly letting light in early in the morning. Room corridor is noisy from around 6 am due to poor sound dampening in the passage.

The Rooms

All was perfect

The Employees are all friendly and welcoming from Receptionist, Waiter, Manager, Cleaner they are very professional and that is what is called customer retention. They create a pleasant environment. I felt welcomed and my kids enjoyed every moment.

The stay was exceptional, but the Hotel should be flexible in checking in earlier especially if it communicated. The cleaners can start with the room that requires early check in. So i think these a communication breakdown among the departments.

The environment is amazing! With a lot of green and birds, so beautiful! The room has a nice balcony and you can see the view while enjoy your breakfast.

The rooms are lovely but need maintenance . The extractor fan and aircon both made alot of noise . Unfortunately we never had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant . Hotel lacks a personal touch . There seemed to be ground staff wondering around inside the hotel ?

The headboard leather is flaking out so there was a lot of flakes all over and the charging ports don't work so well

The geyser was not working , the place was not so clean the house keeping team can do better . The noise from other occupants.

The location is great. The artwork and statues were beautiful. Our waiter was great, excellent service, he delivered a delicious sushi platter.

The place is quite run down. It is supposed to be a five-star boutique hotel. I messaged the hotel the day before arriving to arrange time by the pool on arrival. We were unbelievably disappointed. Firstly, there were men fixing stuff most of the afternoon, so it was not ideal to lay by the pool. When they finally left, we wanted to relax on the day bed, but the cushions were so solid and dirty it was not possible, even flipping them over. We sat on the benches under the canapes, which were quite rickety having our cocktails. The towels in the bathroom were so hard and scratchy. Not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel If you would like to arrange anything special for an occasion, an additional R2500 is the minimum extra price you have to pay. That includes wanting to have an early check-in (1 and half hours early)

The ambiance is always great for me.

The bathtub was worn out and old, and the tv dstv was not functioning. The phone system was not working, and I had to walk to the reception on two occasions to get assisted.

The breakfast. Below standard of a 5 star hotel. It felts like a basic 3 star hotel breakfast. So disappointing. We got offered a room right next to the entrance, which was noisy as you could hear people speaking from the passage. The hot water also runs out while showering.

Breakfast was Ok

Firstly, the sheet did not fit the bed. Secondly, I ordered room service (fish) and it was raw. The switch on the lamp was filthy. And there was no Netflix or any other streaming services. I was told only a few rooms have smart TV's. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel. On check out the lady was not able to print me a receipt.

The air conditioning was not making the room warm and also they must install new generation plugs for charging phones next to the pedestals.

Television was not operating. Bathroom with candles without lighter.

The hotel isn’t what it was years ago. Maintenance has unfortunately clearly been neglected. TV wasn’t working. Not worth the money.

Pretty design and the rooms are well insulated in terms of heat

The corridors are very cold. The hotel had conferences when we stayed there and they got extremely rowdy. General level of service and attention to customer needs at the restaurant was poor. Also entering the hotel there was a very large queue of cars that took an extra 20 minutes to get through the security entrance point.
