The location is excellent and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. 4 min walk to Starbucks to grab coffee and breakfast.

Uber Eats has a difficult time finding the place as it’s an apartment building with no clear signage for The Laundry Room and they can’t really stop King’s Road.

The room itself was really great - spacious and clean

The building has two entrances on two different streets which makes uber pick ups and deliveries complicated 8/10 times

The views, the location, the kitchen and laundry. It was very spacious and the balcony was also HUGE with gorgeous views. Comfortable bed and clean linens. The bathroom was clean and had very fresh smelling soap/shampoo/conditioner.

Could not adjust thermostat. The balcony doors were a little confusing to lock. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen sink.

Cleanness and location

Check in process is very bad. No support system available. We were standing outside for more than 40 mins. No one picking the call on number provided. It’s was really bad. Finally we called booking.com to report it after which we got the access. Booking.com should avoid these properties or they manage smooth check in through them by intimating the access code through phone and mail.

The run is very good. One is having a nice review. Nice city you can see in the pool. Nice quiet room like dying the TV. The bed bathroom is a good

Location is great, contact with staff via email is also great as they are super friendly and helpful. Apartment was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice view of Waterloo. Perfect for a long stay, if you are in between accommodation. Great to have La La Social House downstairs.

It is the 3rd time our family has stayed at these apartments., and I could feel a gradual decline. On the surface the place was clean enough, however upon closer look it was not really up to scratch, I had to move the one twin bed away from the window and it was pretty dusty underneath. Curtains in general and sofa in lounge felt like they needed cleaning/washing. Did not want to go out onto balcony as it also needed a clean, as did windows/frames/mosquito screens had a lot of dust on them. We only had enough coffee for 3 days even though we were staying a week. I am sure I could have asked for more and also for cleaning, but we were extremely busy, and I also felt this should not be something I need to ask for, especially given the that the apartments are generally more expensive than th 5 star hotels in the area.

Great location and walking distance to restaurants and stores. Good to have a parking spot available during our stay. Apt was clean, stocked well enough with dishes, nice to have a dishwasher. Spacious and well lit. We didn't have wifi but they responded quickly to resolve the issue - the breaker had been tripped so they needed to come to the apt to fix this. There is also a washer/dryer but we didn't use them. Nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom, ample towels for our stay. Good to have dish detergent and sponge so we didn't have to buy them.

Disappointed that the pool was unavailable the day we were able to use it. It was open the day before and then it got closed down by the city due to an electrical problem. I chose this location to have access to a pool so this was a huge disappointment and not worth the extra cost. The building had a lot of "electrical" issues - pool, tripped breaker, and the fire alarm went off as we were leaving so we had to carry our bags down 13 floors (it was also a false alarm). Our key card wouldn't work at the front of the building so we always had to go in the back way. The elevator there smells of garbage, it's better to use the lobby elevator. Annoying that we had to pay $20+ per night to park when the apt was already higher priced. When selecting the room we thought we would get a balcony, but our apt did not have one. Difficult to adjust the AC temperature, it was either on (freezing) or we had to turn it off.

Only location is good. Others are disappointed.

The room was great, large with a good view.

My friends and I stayed in multiple rooms. Keys didn’t work for multiple people and we had no idea how to request physical keys or that it was even an option until we checked out. We couldn’t access the rooftop to enjoy the weather or do morning yoga. The residents we met in the parking garage were VERY rude.

Great condo/hotel location in downtown Waterloo. We stayed in the penthouse on the 19th floor while attending a 3 day conference nearby. Very clean. Comfortable bed and the unit was quiet. Well equipped kitchen . New furniture throughout. Very modern building with a restaurant on the main floor. Underground parking available. Very well priced.

Bright, spacious apartment with great views and an excellent location. Large windows bring in lots of natural light, which makes the space feel open and inviting. Everything was very clean and well organized, and all the practical essentials were provided — comfortable bed and linens, plenty of towels, TVs, a well-equipped kitchen, adjustable heat, and a washer/dryer, a great bonus for a short stay. The colourful decor adds a fun personality to the space. The service and responsiveness were exceptional. Their process has several steps, but everything is clearly explained and fully digital, making it easy to follow. They replied to texts almost immediately and picked up calls quickly when needed, always providing friendly and helpful support.

The apartment is very functional, though comfort touches are fairly minimal. Softer pillows and a cozier throw or blanket in the living area would make it feel even more relaxing. A couple of extra wall hooks would also be convenient.

We had an amazing stay here. It was absolutely perfect. The bedrooms were great cozy, clean and easy to access. We were in town for a skating competition and the location was awesome. The rooms were so nicely decorated. It was way cheaper than hotels in the area. Very charming suite. Highly recommended

A little hard to navigate inside the condo to the garage if you take the wrong elevator.

The suite was as advertised, was well appointed and quite comfortable.

I travel to Waterloo for business and am familiar with different hotels. Laundry Rooms stay was by far the best experience in my 4 yrs of travel. Apartment is very well equipped and nicely decorated. Building is very quiet. Location is very convenient with proximity of public transport. Highly recommend!

Hosts were great, very helpful with everything. The suite was wonderful, trendy but practical, lots if space too. Both the room, building n even parking garage were very clean. The location in Waterloo was also very nice n safe, with several trendy cafes n stores nearby.

Im choosing this place again when I come back to waterloo this summer. I normally don't do that so that I can try out different places.

I had a wonderful stay at The Laundry Room Hotel. The facilities are very new and well maintained, and the room was exceptionally clean — truly one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. The staff were also very responsive and provided timely service throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and would easily give it a 95% rating. The only small suggestion is regarding the towels. They appeared to be clean but were not as white or as soft as expected, possibly due to the initial washing process. It’s a minor detail, but improving this would make the experience even more perfect, as everything else was truly excellent. It would also be nice to have even a small box of tissues in the room. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and I would happily stay here again. By the way they have big washer and dryer. Perfect for hockey trip. :)

These rooms are basically condo apartments. There is no reception upon check in; you’re sent instructions. For accessing the building. When we arrived we realized we needed to get parking but didn’t know how to add it after the fact, and no front desk to speak to someone. We had booked a room with a king sized bed but it was a queen, maybe a double, which was very disappointing as it made the sleep restricting.. It was late and nobody to deal with this situation with our timing. The room was nice and it was clean, and there’s a kitchenette and seating area separate from the bedroom. It’s a nice place to stay if you’re not interested in any other amenities that you would typically get with a hotel.

The app to get into the apartment doesn't work well. In fact on the last day it didn't work at all. And the emergency number was useless.

Host accommodated our early check in reqest which helped us out a lot. It's one of the best stays so far on Booking.ca. super clean and spacious. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Ligging, garage, inrichting. Everything was good.

We had only cold water so taking a shower was not pleasant. We reported it the next morning and it was fixed later that day.

Bought tickets to a play in Stratford last minute and there were no hotels available. I did some hectic googlng and came across the Laundry Rooms. It's just over half an hour from Stratford. I booked the suite and checked in . Everything was great, the whole apartment was well furnished, the bed was comfy, everything was modern and had all the conveniences we needed. I paid extra for the parking which worked out. I dont think theres a lot of parking options in the area otherwise, Awesome stay and would do it again!

Second time ive stayed here. In downtown waterloo. Its a nice place. Could do with someone just going over the apartments to make sure that they are clean especially the cups and no lipstick on them.

Spacious pleasant accommodation with room for early risers and sleepy heads to coexist comfortably. Great views. Comfy bed. Great WiFi. I’d suggest more coffee pods and a box of Kleenex. Other than that perfect

This was my husband’s 2nd time staying at The Laundry Rooms in Waterloo and my first. What a welcome stay it was. 1 bedroom/1bathroom, nice kitchen layout, living and dining area.. AND to our surprise... a balcony. not just a small one but one that wrapped around one and 1/2 sides of the apartment. Great for enjoying the cool weather and taking fabulous sunset photos (and as a bonus, we could see the apartments that our son lives in from our balcony). The Kitchen was well used.. breakfasts, some snacks and 2 dinners cooked by us for our son and his girlfriend. Nice fridge to be able to keep the groceries and we learned to use the small dishwasher AND Keurig coffee machine. The bed and bedroom where just the right size, closet space plentiful and the bathroom was a good size and being able to do a load of laundry was a plus. We enjoyed the pool twice.. and the Laundry Rooms location couldn't have been better for walking to the various trails in the area in the mornings, using the ION Light Rail Transit to visit points along the line (going to Fairway and Conestoga/St. Jacobs) and being able to walk along King Street in Waterloo for dinners and a little needed shopping. (and really close to Vincenzo’s Market.. that was a plus) Having stayed 3 times at a hotel in Waterloo on previous visits, The Laundry Rooms - Waterloo will definately be were we will book our stay on our next visit to the area.

Beautiful short-stay condo with great views and decent amenities in a very convenient location in Waterloo city centre. The area is well supplied with restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops, almost right out the door. The ion light rail stops a block away so makes it easy to get to many destinations without a car. The building has a decent gym with dumbbells to 50 lbs.

Only issues were minor - the pool seemed inaccessible and a bathroom vanity build was intermittent.

This is a very upscale building. It's a condo with laundry facilities so it's a lot more than a regular hotel. I highly recommend staying here.

The communication was almost straight away when contacting them with any queries. The place was actually even better than how it looks in the photos. It exceeded our expectations. Car parking and digital key was straight forward and clear instructions and even a video were provided. We would definitely stay here again. I'd say it is 5 star not 3 star.

My recently stay at this hotel was generally pleasant experience. The bed was comfortable enough, though at times it felt like the mattress was uneven, which affected my sleep a bit. The cleanliness was decent but could have been a little better in certain areas. The highlight of the stay was definitely the staff , they were friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests or questions. I also appreciated the location; there were several dining options within easy walking distance, which made meals very convenient. One downside was the confusion around the pool access. The hotel advertises an outdoor pool, but as of May 2025, there was a note on the pool door suggesting it was for residents only, which wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. Overall, it was a great stay with a few minor issues, but the excellent staff and convenient location made up for most of it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

There was a fire alarm at 5 in the morning that disturbed out sleep, will not book the place again.

First time using a fully automated Aparthotel, once we figured out the nuances and downloaded the app to access the parking, lobby and room, things went perfectly. The room was spotless and much larger than a hotel room. It is actually a single bedroom condo unit in a very new condo tower, re-purposed into a very modern hotel room with a sweeping 17th storey view of downtown Waterloo and Silver Lake beside the Perimeter Institute. Our only comment it that the windows could use a good cleaning to maximize the view as it seems there is still some construction evidence on the glass, but that is just a minor concern as the balcony itself is huge. All in all much better than any comparable hotel in the heart of a city.

Wonderful facility, spacious and clean. The only time I’ve ever stayed in the room that is EXACTLY like the photos advertised. The staff is extremely helpful, even without an official front desk.

We requested early check in, which we understand may not be accommodated, but we received zero communication to advise whether it was approved or not. The bedroom carpet had debris on it, and the tea towel in the kitchen was dirty with crusted food. Also, the Wi-Fi did not work, even after rebooting the modem several times.

Ruim en prettig appartement, dichtbij restaurants, supermarkt, aardig en hulpvaardig personeel, Parkeerplaats en zwembad zijn een mooie extra.

Enige nadeel was de vrij omslachtige incheck procedure. Prima als je er een week of langer verblijft, maar omdat wij maar één nacht bleven was het in verhouding veel werk. We werden wel goed geholpen toen we er niet goed uitkwamen.

They ensured everything from access to parking was seamless. The location was perfect too. Right down from Erbs Grist Mill n park n right beside some trendy, nice stores n cafes. The area of Waterloo also appeared very clean n safe, compared to most cities that size, I was pleasantly shocked. I would highly recommend staying at this Waterloo The Laundry Rooms location n would return for sure.
