Room not worth the money we spent. It says three star but not worth the amount we spent...Rooms very average. Resteraunt we had to wait 45 minutes after placing an order and then they say it will trake another 20 minutes or take whats there ready.This should have been tools to us in the first place. The beds were comfortable, and the room size was adequate.

The biggest problem was the location and accessibility of the property. The hotel is situated in an area where a police barricade restricts vehicle access for much of the time. When we arrived, the police prevented us from taking our car to the property. We had to park our car in the church parking area and take two separate auto-rickshaw rides to reach the hotel, which was extremely inconvenient, especially while travelling with family and luggage. We also had to change our room because the electricity supply in the original room was repeatedly interrupted. The television was also not functioning properly, with the set-top box constantly disconnecting and disrupting the service. Another disappointment was that morning tea or coffee was not provided in the room. We were instead told that tea and coffee would only be available at the restaurant along with the complimentary breakfast. Overall, the location and accessibility issues, combined with the repeated power problems and poor facilities, made the stay very disappointing. I would not recommend this property to travellers arriving by car.

We had to walk through busy roads to get to the hotel as there was no direct access to the hotel from the main road. Staff helped us get our luggage when we checked out.

The location is the best as it is about less than 200 metres from the Church. Breakfast spread was ok. The rooms are more like bed and breakfast type. The bazaar and the beach waas very near. All walking distance.

The location was near to the church which made the transport difficult because we arrived during the traffic lock period. we did not know about the timing (7pm-10pm) thus we have to carry our luggages later (after 10pm) even though we checked in earlier.

We have stayed here before a couple of years and felt it was clean and comfortable. Later we recommended the place for our extended family and friends as well. When I revisited the place this year, the hotel has completely lost its value and nature of hospitality. I booked the stay through booking.com for INR 4177. Since we reached there at 6.30 am in the morning, the reception staff mentioned to me that they will have to charge me another 1800 in order to check in early. Normally just like any other hotel, they could’ve checked me in with the booking. Com reservation and charged me an early check in fee, however the receptionist told me that he had to make another booking reservation form. The hotel was almost empty and I had actually checked with one of their staff during the later part of the stay and found out they were 24% occupancy. Since I was extremely tired and I had absolute no patience to ask them if they can provide an early check in at free of cost just like any other hotel would do. Anyway, after paying we went to the room and found out that the wash basin has an issue with the drain. So basically, once you use the wash basin for brushing your teeth or washing your face, the water doesn’t drain as the knob in the drain doesn’t have any gap to drain the water. Underneath there is a clamp which we have to lift in order to drain the water and I felt that this is absolutely disgusting so I called the reception and told them about the issue. The receptionist told me that he will send someone to check on this and no one came for another 20 mins. Again I called up to follow up and then he said the guy is on the way to my room and a gentleman walked into the room and Checked the issue and very simply said.. this seems to have broken and he will change this immediately. Looking at the nature of it I understood that this Could take time to fix and asked him if I could at least get a change of room.

The hotel rooms are very nice, spacious and clean . Service is very good. We could see the church from our room. Restaurant downstairs serves good food. Breakfast was complimentary buffet style. Close proximity to the velankanni church. Loved our stay. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is the only good thing

Everything from parking, location, atmosphere etc... Money is not worth. I am thinking not to go via booking.com for any booking here after.

The hotel is walkable from the main shrine. So it's nearby. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves food to a decent level

The staff attitude was too bad, we visited when the whole hotel has only 2 guests including us. But still they did not give us an hour extra they asked for payment for the extra hr of checkout. The restaurant staffs were good.

The location is the best for visiting the Shrine.

Location excellent.Velankanni church is at less than 100 mtr distance. Spacious and well planned rooms. Trouble free stay. Good furniture support. Complementary breakfast very good.Everything nice.

It’s ok ok

Location is great, about 3 mins walk to the church. Sea view room. Basic amenities like soap and towels were provided. Beds were large enough. FOC accommodation for driver in an onsite dormitory but breakfast is payable for driver.

The roads in front of hotel are in bad shape. Potholes filled with water and muddy when raining. Breakfast was adequate on the weekend, buffet style. No buffet on the Mon morning but ala carte was available but they did not advise that breakfast for driver would be charged according to what was ordered instead of flat buffet rate. Hotel collected payment for room upfront and no receipt was given. At checkout, we paid for driver's breakfast and they added a receipt for water which did not belong to us. They seem to track expenditure by room and not by the guests, so the receipt for water was probably from someone who had stayed in the same room earlier. Fortunately, there was another name on the receipt and we could dispute it. Bathroom was filled with some sort of bug on the second night when it rained heavily. All over the bathtub and floor. We had to keep the door closed as we were afraid they would invade the room.

No Hand towels provided. Initial towels provided had some stains which was promptly replaced. Bath tub had some sealant and not very clean. Access road to hotel was muddy due to rain
