Velānganni Vinodth Homestay

New building with good AC, Big TV, heater and fan.

No sink, no table, no blankets,no dustbin provided. They need to improve to be a partner in Booking.com. First bad experience fot me in the hotels i booked so far across globe in Booking.com

The stay was good. The owner was very helpful. The rooms were asking shown in the images.

No covered car parking in the premises. We have to park outside vacant plots. I didn't face any problems during my trip ,but as it is an open space, dogs, drunkards, beggars,.....etc. can create problems and in the daytime, sun heat is also an issue.

Lovely Big rooms with a dining table and large comfortable beds. Clean and fresh linen on bed gave me a peaceful sleep all nights (pillows were not used as they were hard as stones) Host was helpful and the property is very close to the shrine. Shops and restaurants were very close by. Water kettle was a bonus. My son enjoyed the streaming on a large TV in the room.

Everything was good. Except the noise coming from construction site early morning. Also the cutlery and glasses on table were not clean. The toilet seat had a dirty poo mark which i had to wash off before use. I wish they had a choice of breakfast (like light toast or biscuit or croissant and a tea) we wasted the breakfast on all 3 days.

I would recommend this place because the rooms was very clean and very close to valankanni church and restaurant aswell. Customer service was very good. We like it.

Excellent Location. Walkable distance to the church which is a plus point Pick up was provided from Railway Station which was good. Good for Family of 4 Breakfast was Good.

I don’t know much about the area and transportation services.So hosts coordinated with local travel agency to setup reliable pick and drop service(Very reliable one too). They arranged free pickup from velankanni The tv was good hot water was available thats also a good thing

The check in they told us was at 11:30 to 12:00pm but the property owner told us to wait for 2 hours in another room which was the worst thing happended and we could only check in at 1:30 they gave us used bedsheet over all the room was not cleaned properly with food and all stuff bathroom was ok ok

Construction is going on ground level. My family enjoyed the stay. Very neat and clean and also the service was commendable.breakfast also good. Don't expect more but fine. The bathroom was average.

The property is very close to Madhakulam. Morning Star church is at a walkable distance from the property. Moreover, the owner is a very sweet and makes sure that the stay is comfortable.

We were offered breakfast and great coffee. The host was very friendly and helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay at Velankanni Vinod Homestay. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, being very close to the pond and Morning Star Church. You can easily take an auto to reach the main Velankanni Church. Overall, a good and comfortable stay.

The owner, Vinodth, is a very genuine, polite, & understanding person who made sure everything was taken care of during our visit. Perfect location right behind the church in a quiet and peaceful area. No traffic or road noise, surroundings feel very calm and relaxing. The stay itself is a house where upper floor is given to guests, which makes it comfortable and homely. Vinodth (owner) was very kind and helpful.

The rooms were clean.. very well maintained and the staff were very helpful and the hospitality was top notch! Proximity to the church is another positive as the church is just 3-5mins away (walk down the road) Very happy with the stay!

I felt like I was staying at my own home. The owner was very polite and friendly. A safe place to stay with family. I really liked the way the owner behaved He takes care of everyone as if they were his own guest. I have stayed one day with compliments of morning breakfast fast The next morning we needed to check out at 6 am but he asked us sir, don't be urgency we will arrange the morning breakfast.and allow me stay another 2 to 3 hours. He is such a nice person. Thank you a lot sir

I recently stayed at Velānganni Vinodth Homestay with my family for three nights during our pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health. I can’t recommend this place enough! The ambiance is incredibly calm and peaceful, making it a perfect spot for families. One of the best features is its convenience; we could easily walk to the shrine in just a few minutes. Mr. Dharmalingam, the host, was exceptionally helpful and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Our room was not only nice but also very clean, and we appreciated the great water quality, especially since the property is a little away from the beach. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning, and one of our favorite moments was having family chit chats on the rooftop terrace while taking in the beautiful view of the basilica in the background. Throughout our stay, we felt safe and secure, which is so important when traveling. Overall, our experience at Vinodth Homestay was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Land lord was too good,initially on the travel day there was bit confusion even after the payment was made, but my mistake. However the stay,rooms and the courtesy was awesome,it's worth for money . Suggestion: before you start call and intimate even if ..u have booked or made payment

One open suggestion to have cupboard or shelf to keep the things and used cloths. Changing room or portion to be covered near the bath area,specially when ladies are at the spot Rest all is too good.

I had selected this homestay based on the excellent reviews on your website. I cannot understand on what basis these reviews were given. In actual fact, things were just the opposite. No food, tea, or coffee is prepared on the premises. Food is brought in from some small outlet, and sent in on old newspaper! The room, though large, has two double beds which are stuck to each other in a corner, in such a way that one has to clamber on from the foot of the bed...not easy for seniors!! Finally, I understood from your site that I have a discount on the rate. However, I was charged the full rate, and given a receipt of some other place...!! The entire experience was disappointing, to say the least.

It was a comfortable himely stay, and worth for money. It is little far from main road, so there were less shops/ hotels, so getting breakfast /dinner was difficult. The family is friendly .
