The location was easily accessible, and parking was available adjacent. Rooms were clean and tidy, with tea, coffee and towels provided. Quiet and peaceful overall.

Prices were higher than comparable places, maybe because of lesser availability and higher demand, which didnt really justify bunk bed system

Location was excellent. The staff were very welcoming. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was great.

It was too noisy. No sound-proofing. When the upstairs toilet was flushed it was extremely loud and woke us up. Plus you could hear everyone going past the door.

* Their own free parking was full when we arrived, but there is a large parking lot right by the hotel which is free from 18h00 to 08h00, so we avoided paying for parking since we arrived at 19h00 and left at 08h00. * Check-in is open until late, which was very convenient for us and a big reason we picked this hotel. * There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance, so there is a decent selection to choose from.

I should preface this by saying we booked the quadruple room, so this may not apply to the other room types. The room wasn't well cleaned, especially the bathroom — the shower floor felt sticky. I'd recommend bringing flip-flops if you book here. The bathroom was also very cramped. My friend and I are both around 180cm, and we had to be careful not to hit our heads. There were no photos of the bathroom in the listing, and now we understand why; it's definitely not a selling point. SERIOUS ISSUE I also ran into a serious issue: shortly after booking, I was contacted on WhatsApp by an unknown number with a message containing details from my booking and a suspicious link. Thankfully, I checked with the hotel before clicking anything, but this suggests they have a serious security problem in their IT systems.

The hotel is very close to the train station, near the hotel, there are many restaurants and shops, very convenient. Also, the room is nice, clean and cosy, and there is a lounge, my friend and I used it to do some work in the evening, which is quite nice as well. The staff is friendly, and allow us to store our bag after the check-out. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Rollstuhlgerechtes" Zimmer war direkt hinter der Rezeption deshalb Lärm bis spät in die Nacht. Zimmer absolut nicht rollstuhlgerecht, sehr eng, extrem weiche Matratze, kaum Platz für die Koffer. Badezimmer groß jedoch Dusche ohne Sitzmöglichkeit und nur mit Kopfdusche. Toilette ok mit Handhalterung. Waschbecken winzig und extrem tief, also keine Möglichkeit darunter zu fahren. Preis für 3 Sterne Hotel sehr hoch.

Extremely disappointing – unacceptable staff behaviour The lady who checked us in was very polite, welcoming and helpful. She kindly helped us with information about nearby places to visit, and we really appreciated her professionalism. Unfortunately, our overall experience was extremely disappointing. The property advertised free parking, but after checking in and asking about it, we were told that parking was not actually available and that guests had to find somewhere themselves. This was misleading and caused unnecessary stress. The parking arrangements should be clearly explained to guests before booking. More seriously, we had an extremely unpleasant interaction with a male staff member he is a adult boy not to old. His behaviour towards us was rude, aggressive and completely disrespectful. He used abusive language and spoke to us in an unacceptable manner. We also felt that his behaviour was racist and discriminatory towards us. There was also a very strong smell that appeared to be cannabis/weed coming from him during the interaction, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. This is not how paying guests should be treated. Staff working in hospitality should remain professional and respectful, even when dealing with disagreements or questions from customers. The lady who checked us in was the complete opposite — kind, polite and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the behaviour of Johnny completely overshadowed the positive experience.

Hallway floors creak really loud. Can hear the people in the room talking. But, we were not bothered by this and slept with earplugs.

Die Lage

Dass ich zwei Nächte für mehr als 200£ pro Nacht gefroren habe, obwohl angeblich die Heizung eingeschaltet wurde. Um 5:00 morgens wach war, hab ich gefroren!

Location was fantastic.

The rooms were small but they served their purpose as we did not spend much time in them anyway. Not much free parking but we managed to snag a spot everytime.

The location

It was very noisy with creaky floors and doors slamming. Room was basic and the springs could be felt through the mattress - very uncomfortable to try and sleep. No fridge or microwave in the dining room made it difficult to have quick easy meals. I wouldn’t recommend it for longer than a night or 2.

L’hôtel est bien situé, à deux pas de la rue principale (restaurants, shopping) de Fort William. Bon accueil et il y a toujours quelqu’un à l’accueil. La chambre, très basique, reste correcte pour 2 nuits. La literie était ok.

Plusieurs points sont à améliorer : - la salle de bain n’était pas très engageante: moisissures, odeur - problème avec la TV connectée - le rapport qualité/prix est décevant Pas d'ascenseur

It was a great location and a comfortable room for three. The staff was friendly and helped us out when needed :) The parking lot next to the hotel was excellent for day trips since it was free from 18:00 to 8:00. The hotel has a small free parking lot but with very limited spots available.

Our room was tidied up but we always had to ask extra to change our towels or get finished amenities. Our window was, unfortunately, above a smoking corner, which isn't great when it's hot inside and you don't like the smell of smoke.

Molto vicino alla via principale del paese, mi sono fermata in questa struttura per una notte, e il giorno dopo sveglia presto per andare al viadotto di Glenfinnan che dista solo 20minuti in macchina. Puoi utilizzare gratuitamente il parcheggio posto di fronte all’albergo solo dalle 6 del pomeriggio alle 8 del mattino, poi è a pagamento 1£ all’ora.

Un po piccola la stanza ( una tripla con 3 letti singoli )con pochissimo spazio per muoversi.

Received an email from the hotel 1 week before check in to make payment. Paid online. In less that 24 hrs, received more than a dozen of spam emails requesting credit card details. Management is aware of this and took no action to alert the guests. Room no AC but they provide fan for the room. It's like an oven during summer. Cheapskate. Laundry cost GBP 10 which is ok but it took them 3 hrs and the clothes is still wet. Reason cos they got too many loads to clean and dry. Unacceptable! You want to make money you make sure you do it properly. Money minded

Bank Street Lodge was a fantastic, economical option for our large group. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, and even went out of their way to help us figure out our laundry needs! If you are looking for an affordable, clean place to stay with a great central location and friendly staff, I cannot recommend Bank Street Lodge highly enough. It was an easy walk to the town center and the train, and a quick drive to wilderness hikes.

Δεν επαρκεί σε τίποτα περισσότερο από 1 διανυκτέρευση. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ μικρό, σε βαθμό που 3 ενήλικες με 3 χειραποσκευές δνε χωρούσαμε να κινηθούμε. Οι εγκαταστάσεις (δωμάτιο, κουφώματα, μπάνιο) είναι παλίες και ως εκ τούτου δεν αξίζε σε καμία περίπτωση το αυξημένο κόστος του.

Familienzimmer zu klein bekamen die Koffer nur stehend unter. Die Betten katastrophal die Matratzen stammen gefühlt aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Man liegt auf jeder einzelnen Sprungfeder bei jeder Bewegung Schmerz pur. Super Minimini Bad. Überall hängen Zettel das man sich ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit leise verhalten soll, ironischer Weise interessiert es dort niemanden wenn Gäste mitten in der Nacht stark alkoholisiert einfallen und im Zimmer lautstark weiter machen. Wer mit Kind eine Unterkunft sucht : Finger weg!

Location and cost

Loud noises paper thin walls, screeching floor boards. I didn’t like the parking situation. The parking area was very tight and didn’t feel like we could fit the rental car. So we kept car parked across street but had to wake up 8am to move car or fund the parking meter until we were ready to checkout.

The building is rather old, and you can hear the wood creaking as you walk along the wooden corridor.
