房间很暗，只有几盏昏黄的小灯，看不清东西，只能靠开窗户才能让屋里亮一些，希望可以安装亮一些的灯

The only thing that caused me stress was not being able to charge my phone. I had the cord, but not an adapter. The staff were kind enough to let me sit in the pub and charge the phone, but it would be better to have a bedside port to use.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026The shared bathroom was very clean and kept on top of with new towels in there every morning. The location was incredible and overall the room was cozy and clean. Worth every cent with the waterfall view.
The 3 flights of stairs with suitcases was a bit too much cardio for me but thankfully they have beer downstairs.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Excellent location, great staff, comfy beds, easy check in/out and clean! My floor had 5 rooms I think and one toilet/shower for females and one for males. It worked pretty well, never had to wait long and the sink in the room was great. I had an excellent stay!
There is noise from the pub downstairs and tourists walking by in the morning. Did not bother me but for some that could be an issue.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026We had a lovely stay at Horner Pub in Lauterbrunnen! The location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. From the train station, it’s just a short walk towards the famous Staubbach Waterfall, making it very convenient to explore the village and its beautiful surroundings. The building has a bar on the ground floor and the accommodation upstairs. One thing we really appreciated was that we could leave our luggage there before check-in, which was very helpful as we arrived earlier. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but honestly, we didn’t really need it. Even though we visited during summer, the natural air in Lauterbrunnen was cool and refreshing, so the room remained comfortable. We stayed in a family room. The shower was inside the room, while the toilet was separate and shared. Everything was simple and had a very authentic, cozy Lauterbrunnen feel.
The main downside for us was the check-in time, which was quite late at 4 PM. Also, the bed was relatively small and may not be the most comfortable option for bigger/taller guests.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Jag tyckte väldigt mycket om hotellet. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal, och överlag var jag väldigt nöjd med vistelsen. Det enda jag verkligen rekommenderar är att fråga vid bokningen åt vilket håll rummets fönster vetter. Vi visste att våra fönster vette mot en livlig gata, men det vi inte visste var att det ligger en bar precis under hotellet. Baren stänger först kl. 00:30, så fram till halv ett på natten var det väldigt svårt att sova på grund av ljudet. Jag gick mycket varje dag, ibland i 12 timmar, och kom tillbaka till hotellet vid 20–21-tiden helt slut. Trots det var det väldigt svårt att somna på grund av ljudet från baren. I övrigt tyckte jag verkligen om allt och personalen var fantastisk. Men om ni är känsliga för ljud och vill kunna sova ordentligt – fråga alltid åt vilket håll fönstren vetter innan ni bokar.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Das Einzige, was hier überzeugt, ist die Lage. Der Rest ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Diese Unterkunft als „Hotel“ zu bezeichnen, ist eine Frechheit. Selbst die meisten Jugendherbergen sind besser ausgestattet, sauberer und deutlich einladender. Das Zimmer gleicht eher einer Abstellkammer als einem Hotelzimmer. Die Ausstattung ist billig, lieblos und völlig unzureichend. Für das, was hier geboten wird, ist jeder Euro zu viel. Wer ein richtiges Hotel erwartet, wird hier massiv enttäuscht. Nie wieder.
Bitte schaut euch die Fotos und die Beschreibung ganz genau an. Mir hat an dieser Unterkunft praktisch nichts gefallen. Das angebliche Doppelbett ist gerade einmal ca. 140 cm breit und steht so dicht an der Wand, dass auf einer Seite gefühlt nur etwa 10 cm Platz zum Durchgehen bleiben. Das Zimmer war extrem warm, stickig und alles andere als angenehm. Auch die Ausstattung ist völlig unpraktisch. Im Zimmer gibt es praktisch nur eine Dreifachsteckdose am Fenster – durch die Bauform der Stecker lässt sich aber jeweils nur eine Steckdose sinnvoll nutzen. Die einzige weitere brauchbare Steckdose befindet sich ausgerechnet im Badezimmer, und auch dort kann effektiv nur eine genutzt werden. Für 145 € pro Nacht ist das schlicht eine Frechheit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist katastrophal und hat mit einem Hotelaufenthalt, wie man ihn erwarten darf, nichts zu tun.

The beds were very comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep. One thing to keep in mind is that the toilet and bathroom are shared. There is one shared bathroom and toilet on the hallway for two floors, which may not be ideal for everyone. However, the facilities were clean during our stay.
On the downside, the staff were not particularly friendly and came across as rather grumpy. We also had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel, and the food was quite disappointing for the price.

The shared bathrooms were also very clean, and we had a shower in our room, which was a nice bonus. The food in the pub is also really good!
The only small downsides were that the shower tray was a bit unsteady, and there was a little mold in the shower. Apart from that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Na duży plus zasługuje bar znajdujący się na dole hotelu, gdzie panuje świetna atmosfera, a obsługa jest niezwykle miła i profesjonalna. Pokoje były czyste i wygodne. Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel i z przyjemnością zatrzymam się tutaj ponownie.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Great location, right next to Staubbach waterfalls and close to parking. About 500 m from the railway station. The room I got was quite spacious, had all the basic amenities. Hosts are friendly, I don't remember the name but the one who greeted us in the morning when we arrived was very sweet and friendly. They even allowed us to use the common showers and washroom before our check in time in the evening. Food at bar was also good, I had avocado toast, cappuccino, spaghetti napoli pasta, Alpine shepherd's macaroni and draft beers. All were good.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The room was small but cozy. The staff was really friendly and everything was clean. The location is amazing, right in the center of Lauterbrunnen. I was there on Sunday and the pub was not noisy at all.
Only 2 showers for 11 rooms seems a bit little, but it was really clean and I only had to wait a few minutes.
