위치는 좋았습니다. 시내 중심가에서 조금 떨어져 있어서 한적한 느낌이었습니다. 숙소 옆 냇가에 발을 담글 수 있는 강가와 개울도 있구요. 뒤로는 목초지여서 만족했습니다.

하지만 155cm인 친구와 둘이 자기엔 너무 작은 침대, 열쇠에 서툴러서 문 열때마다 힘들었던 것이 기억나네요. 스위스는 원래 비싼 동네라고 해도 시설 대비 가격 만족도는 조금 떨어집니다.

Looks exactly like the photos, in a gorgeous spot in Lauterbrunnen right in the alps. Easy access to places like Mürren, Interlaken, Grindelwald and much more. So many hikes near, great accommodation especially for the price!!

It is a good clean hostle. all shared facilities were clean & tidy. We had our bedroom with a window with Mountain view.

In a decent location, not far from the bus stop and plenty of cute trails nearby to walk and admire the scenery. Staff was nice and helped me with my bags upstairs. Views were incredible. It was nice having access to a communal kitchen/fridge and laundry in the basement.

I was only given 1 pillow which wasn’t enough, so I asked for another and they accommodated. My room was on the 3rd floor so it was a little inconvenient having to walk multiple flights of stairs down to the basement to use the shower. There are toilets and sinks on the 3rd floor, but all of the showers are in the basement. There is no air conditioning or fans provided either. Luckily the temperature got low enough at night that it was tolerable. But beware of lack of AC.

It’s clean, quiet and relaxing. Room is spacious enough to breathe. Location is perfect. Having access to the kitchen for cooking or preparing food is a great plus. Staff are nice and friendly. I like the grilling/garden area too.

Wonderful hostel in a fabulous location.  Good vibes and friendly.  You can hear the sound of the river and a waterfall which are very close by and are soothing to fall asleep to. Lovely spacious garden to chill out in and has amazing views.  The rooms are clean and comfortable and also have great views. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.

Świetnie zorganizowane miejsce, bardzo wygodne łóżka i mięciutka pościel.W pokoju umywalka, wc na kazdym piętrze, a prysznice na samym dole. Mily personel, parking pod obiektem oraz szum potoku i wodospadu. Pobyt byl bajeczny!

The owner is lovely and super helpful. The bedroom, bathroom and shared facilities were all very clean, exceeded our expectations. Scenery is very beautiful.

There isn’t an aircon so could get hot in warmer weather. We were fine with the window open as we were there over low 20C days.

This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect, just a one-minute walk to the bus stop, and only a few minutes by bus to Lauterbrunnen train station. Staying here makes it incredibly convenient to explore the entire Jungfrau region. The hostel itself is also excellent. There is a river right behind and walking along it leads to a beautiful hiking trail. In the backyard, there is a small stream flowing through, with stunning views of snow-capped mountains and waterfalls in the distance. The facilities are very well-equipped, including a refrigerator and everything needed for cooking. The shared bathrooms and toilets are clean, and all the amenities are modern and well-maintained.

Lot of things. Had a bad experience there. Bathrooms weren’t like in the photos. Slept one night there but I was having a bad experience, so I booked at another place. The staff didn’t even recognize me one day of refund.

The place sits next to the waterfall and with the best view in entire lauterbrunnen. Staffs were extremely attentative and helpful, friendly and feel like home. Room is super clean and all public spaces including kitchen and bathroom. Very organized, spacious with yard view and grill.

Honestly, it is a bit far out from train station and super market but not a big problem, cant find any complaint.

Amazing location with access to beautiful walking trails and a bit away from the tourist hordes. Gorgeous hangout area outside and the kitchen and walk in fridge was so helpful! Staff were awesome and super super friendly

Bathrooms could use a bit of a refresh but they were mostly clean and functional. And bring earplugs to sleep, people stomp around heavily in the morning

Great stay and location for everything we wanted to do. Love the kitchen option to cook our own meals and the fact that we could wash our own clothes. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely had a great stay and recommend this place.

The kitchen is well organised, the dining area is huge. The room is comfortable and private. Toilets are clean. Showers have good hot water. The staff is very helpful. Hiking info is very helpful.

Don't know why there are so many flys but the fly smasher is handy. The location is a bit out of the way but it's quiet and private for adults only.

Amazing place, amazing staff and the owner, it was spotless clean everywhere. Huge shared kitchen, and of course location and the view. I’m really happy I found that place!

Not really too much to say, but the staff were great and helpful. And the facilities were clean and pretty modern. I def enjoyed my stay and I will be staying here again when I decide to return to Switzerland

Alpine Base was our favourite accommodation we stayed at in Europe. From the moment we got there Johnny was so welcoming and helpful even carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me. He taught us to walk the tightrope and he cut wood so we could make a fire on our first night there. On our last day he took 8 of us, along with some bubbles, to sail on his boat and it was a beautiful day. The location was fantastic just a short walk or bus ride from Lauterbrunnen station. The scenery and walking paths around the accomodation were just breathtaking. The facilities at Alpine base were fantastic- a big shared kitchen, large bathrooms, beautiful views from our bedroom window and lots of entertainment including a pool table, darts, ping-pong and board games. All the staff were friendly and helpful and if we ever go to Greece we’ll be sure to track down Johnny and Lucy’s new hostel to stay with them again!

This was the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were awesome! Shout out to Captain Johnny for taking 8 of us out on his sailboat! We had the most awesome day. If you stay at AlpineBase, you can’t miss that!

The bathrooms were a bit outdated. And I wish there was an oven in the kitchen! There were only stovetops. An update to the facilities would make this place absolutely perfect!

Quite a spartan room but you don't need much more when the nature around is top luxury. Very convenient kitchen and fridge. A pleasure to sit in the garden to eat with those views. It's a relief that this property is away from the central part of the village and the worst part of the crowds of tourists.

The people around my room were not respectful of the clearly stated rule of "keep quiet after 22:00". The walls between rooms were "great" at transmitting noises.

The room view (every room has a balcony) was incredible. The shared bathrooms super clean. The shared areas ar great and the kitchen is super spacious.

We loved the peaceful location outside of town. The views are outstanding. We just wanted to sit in chairs and relax instead of go hiking!

El alojamiento es precioso, la atención buenísima, todos son muy amables, además si tu tren sale más tarde, te resguardan el equipaje. Muy seguro y cerca de una parada de autobús. Buena ubicación, lo recomiendo 100%. La vista era increíble

The walls are extremely thin, there was a couple next to my room talking loudly until 2 am Very annoying. Even though everyone gets an info sheet explaining the rules including to be quiet from 22:00 onwards it could be verbally stressed at the time of checking in

Best view ever. We stayed in a single dorm. Toilet was close. Bed was small for two people and uncomfortable. But it’s also a hostel, not a hotel.

We stayed at Alpine Base Hotel Lauterbrunnen for 5 nights and had a fantastic experience. Johnny and his wife were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. The place was clean, well-equipped, and made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

The owner couple was friendly and very helpful. The room view was spatacular and I got up in the early morning chilling with a coffee at a small balcony surrounded by Swiss alps. it was one of the best experiences we've ever had in Swiss.

The kitchen was a bit messy and not hygienic, which we can imagine considering so many long-stayed people use it for three meals a day. It can be improved to be cleaner.

Heel aardige en behulpzame eigenaar. Gratis parkeren. Bedden waren prima en ik had een twee persoons kamer. Kamer was ruim genoeg en schoon. Omgeving is landschappelijk schitterend en er is een grotendeels autovrij wandelpad naar het dorpscentrum.

Het is wel een hostel met veel base jumpers die graag met een drankje stoere verhalen vertellen tot laat in de nacht dus het is niet per definitie stil na elven. Klagen helpt wel. Ook is er vlakbij een waterval die je behoorlijk goed hoort aan één kant van het hostel. Oordoppen mee is handig. Er was geen ontbijt maar dat wisten we vantevoren. In het dorp zijn voldoende ontbijt mogelijkheden.

Хороший хостел в прекрасном отдалении от центра у подножия гор в окружении кемпинга и частных домиков. Хостел предлагает общие номера с несколькими кроватями, так и отдельные комнаты, общие туалеты на этаже и душевые с прачкой в цоколе, общая кухня, все чисто и оборудовано. Все отлично!

Неудобный матрас на пружинах, очень мягкий, и пружины впивались в бока

Чистый и приятный номер, вживую оказалось все лучше, чем на фото. Вид из окна потрясающий)) Общие душевые чистые и удобные, как кабинки в бассейне. Персонал был очень любезным и гостеприимным. Мне очень понравилось это место!

This the only hostel we stayed at in 2 weeks in Switzerland. Perfectly fine. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen facilities are good. Shared bathroom and showers were clean. The walls are thin, but guests are respectful and noise wasn’t a problem. Would stay here again.
