Reviewed Sep 15, 2026From entry staff were so helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our bags and use the spacious lounge with tea and coffee available. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate and the view was amazing. Location was fantastic. The picnic room was great to heat microwave meals for dinner.
We had an attic room with a shared bathroom between 3 rooms. The room itself was great but the lighting was very dull and it was hard to see even during the day. The walls were also not soundproof in the attic. But for the price we would still highly recommend.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026L'hôtel est parfaitement bien placé tout proche de la cascade. La chambre est rustique mais les lits sont confortables. Nous avions une chambre avec une double exposition, donc tres lumineuse, aucun vis à vis. Le cours d'eau passe en contrebas, cela fait du bruit parce que le débit est fort, mais on n'entend rien une fois les fenêtres fermées. Le personnel a été très agréable, de bon conseil. Pas de restaurant mais il y a une salle où l'on peut réchauffer son repas et manger, prendre thé ou café jusqu'à 22h. L'espace fumeur avec fauteuils et table sur le coté de l'accueil a une vue imprenable sur la cascade. Parking gratuit et spacieux, nous avons pu nous garer avant le check in et laisser la voiture la journee le jour du depart.
Salle de bains petite, avec juste une douche et les WC. Le lavabo est dans la chambre. Il n'y a rien pour poser ses affaires propres le temps de se laver à par un crochet placé très haut derriere la porte. Le ventilateur dans la salle de bains s'allume avec la lumière et est très bruyant.

Wir hatten die beiden Zimmer unter dem Dach. Da wir zu dritt waren, haben wir zwei Zimmer benötigt. Dafür war der Preis entsprechend hoch . Daher die schlechtere Bewertung beim Preis Leistungsverhältnis .

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026我选的是瀑布景，有很大的阳台，实则特别好，可躺在房间看日落日出。酒店装修很复古，但是很干净，common room里有热水壶和微波炉可以自己用，还有钢琴，国际象棋，餐厅视野非常好。车站出来走七八分钟就可以到，就在瀑布正对面，另一侧还可以看见钟楼。
水压有点小，冷热不太稳定

Номер был просторный и хорошо проветриваемый благодаря двум открывающимся окнам и отсутствию дневного солнца. Отсутствие кондиционера компенсируется наличием вентилятора. Есть общая кухонная зона для гостей с кофе/чаем, холодильником и микровольновкой и всей необходимой посудой и принадлежностями.
В отеле не предоставляются тапочки. Нет зернового кофе на завтраке. В номере нет холодильника (но он есть в общей зоне). Тут скорее хотелось бы высказать для администрации самого Лаутербрюннена некоторое недовольство (не относится к отелю): в деревне по факту одна улица и по дороге ездят много автомобилей и только один тратуар для пешеходов с одной стороны этой дороги. Когда есть наплыв туристов (приехал поезд, время чек аутов или чек инов и т.д.) проход по улице превращается просто в ужасный балаган. Чтобы перейти дорогу надо просто перебегать перед автомобилями, что конечно не безопасно. Было бы наверно неплохо задуматься о решении данной проблемы. Возможно запретить проезжать туристическим машинам сквозь эту деревню, или еще какие то решения.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Die Lage ist sehr zentral, guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Es sind ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze am Haus vorhanden. Wir hatten ein Balkonzimmer mit Blick auf den Wasserfall.
Es wird auf den vergangenen Charme des Hauses hingewiesen und wert gelegt, jedoch empfanden wir dies nur als einen Versuch, den teils sehr altbacken Zustand schön zu reden. In einzelnen Bereichen des Hauses muffelte es stockig und Einrichtungsgegenstände (Teppiche/Mobiliar) müssten längst ausgewechselt werden. Weiße billige Plastikmöbel auf den Balkonen widersprechen den o.g. Aussagen von heimeligem historischem Charme ebenfalls. Auf weitere negative Beispiele: Keine Sicherheit im Zimmer (alte Buntbartschlösser mit 1 Schlüssel; am Rezeptionsbrett hat jeder auf alle hängenden Schlüssel Zugriff, kein Safe, alle Balkonzimmer sind über die Balkone betretbar (kniehohe Zwischenwände) Da wir fast eine Woche in dem Hotel verbrachten konnten wir feststellen, dass es mehr ein Durchgangshotel für die meisten Gäste ist (1-3 Tage). Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, gegenüber ist ein großer öffentlicher Parkplatz und es ist deswegen sehr laut. Das war uns jedoch vorher klar. Frühstück war sehr überschaubar und stets gleich. Die Nachlege funktionierte bei hohem Andrang nicht ausreichend.

Une salle de bain vieillotte qui doit dater des années 1980 avec un lavabo en dehors de la sdb face aux lits. Pas de télévision. Un matelas peu confortable. En partant le matin, nous avons fermé notre chambre à clé et en rentrant le soir elle était ouverte. C est inadmissible surtout pour une chambre à 250 euros la nuit.

Las habitaciones, los baños todo limpio. Dispone de una cocina- comedor para que los huéspedes se cocinen (súper equipada) y además de infusiones 24/7. Yo fui con mi novio y nos tocó la habitación del ático, bastante romántica y acojedora. No encuentro nada negativo pero si no es una habitación apta para una persona muy alta, y tampoco si vas con mucho equipaje( hay unas escaleras muy pequeñas para ir hasta la habitación)
Lo único, por poner un pero, me resultó un poco extraño que todos los baños son compartidos y no disponen de lavabo dentro, debes desplazarte hasta la habitación ( tienen solo inodoro y ducha)

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026I had excellent communication with Adam at the Hotel right from booking. His information was very helpful in planning our trip even before we arrived in Lauterbrunnen. The hotel location is stunning and it looks like a story book Swiss Chalet. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the train station. We had booked 3 rooms for our party of 6. The views from each of the room was absolutely stunning and just like you see on the website. Breakfast was a decent variety and the breakfast room also had an amazing view. For our laundry needs, we found a great hostel about 5 minutes away from the hotel. The location was great for us for easy daytrips to Jungfraujoch and Schiltorn which our family loved. Both places were well-worth the trip.
The rooms themselves are dated. The carpet and shower curtains were old and the bathroom towels were thin. The property itself has maintained its charm, but the rooms and amenities need some love and attention. I don't mind the smaller quarters and slightly odd placement of the bathroom sink but I hate old carpet and thin towels. Some slight upgrades would make this stay unforgettable in the best way.

The fact that as a family of four we had connecting rooms with the kids in one room with bunk beds and ours with a double was a great setup. The hotel staff were lovely. Breakfast was nice with mostly continental style and some hot bacon and eggs.
This is a slightly older hotel and this didn't impact us at all in fact we loved it but maybe some people may think they are getting more luxury at that price. The position is what you're paying for.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Tolles Hotel an super Lage mit schöner Aussicht auf den Staubbachfall! Das Personal wirkte äussert kompetent und war sehr freundlich. Ein grosser Pluspunkt! Gutes Frühstück und viele private Parkplätze. Absolut zu empfehlen. Wir werden das Hotel Staubbach bei einer weiteren Reise nach Lauterbrunnen sicher wieder in Betracht ziehen.
Der Preis ist schon etwas hoch, aber es ist halt Lauterbrunnen.

El balcón en la habitación con vistas es increíble. El personal es encantador y muy servicial. A 10 min del tren y en pleno centro neurálgico. Es el hotel para quedarse en Lauterbrunnen sin ninguna duda.
