Perfect location
Lovely property with stunning views. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Loved the view! Owners were unobtrusive and friendly.
TV needs to be placed on a higher table or on the wall, if possible. Hard to watch in bed and with no sofa, there isn't any other option.
Great location, had everything we needed, perfect little place.
Possibly wouldn’t want to have an early morning shower with the noise it makes, was quite loud but we did have a laugh haha.
Well designed and equipped. Great views and close proximity to Mudbrick vineyard; cellar door and restaurant well worth a visit for views as well as great wine and food.
The cabin was very comfortable and had great views of Auckland. Well designed, with ample space for sleeping, great shower, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchenette.
景色が素晴らしい 入り口が少しわかりづらいです 清潔 Mudbrick で夜食事をして歩いてすぐ帰れます お隣
車が路駐で階段あり 大きな荷物は運びづらいです
The view…. Photos don’t do it justice. Location is great. 2km walk into Oneroa or 5 minute drive. Very close to Mudbrick. 10-15 minutes to Palm Beach and lots of other wineries etc. Cabin was clean, comfortable and had modern convenience.
Nothing particularly. I stayed in the Syrah cabin and it is quite open to the road. Quite a few people walking past back and forth from Mudbrick. If you’re sitting on the deck then very visible to the road but really I just got quite a few comments from passersby about how great my view is.
Comfort and location

The Merlot cabin was the perfect size for me and my husband. The views from the bed was stunning!
Due to the heavy rains, it would have been nice to have a couple umbrellas available
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the views — sweeping, uninterrupted panoramas stretching right across to the Auckland skyline. The setting is peaceful, elevated, and beautifully positioned to soak in everything that makes Waiheke so special. The cabin itself is a masterclass in thoughtful design. While compact, it is modern, immaculate, and incredibly well laid out — every detail has been considered. It felt luxurious, calm, and welcoming, making it perfect for a couple or solo traveller wanting privacy without sacrificing comfort. Just five minutes from the charming village of Oneroa, the location is ideal. With a hire car, we had effortless access to stunning walking tracks, world-class wineries, beautiful beaches, and endless scenic lookouts. Each day felt relaxed yet full of discovery. What truly sets The Bay’s Cabins apart is the overall experience — the manicured gardens, the peaceful surrounds, the cleanliness, and the sense of being tucked away while still close to everything. Our two-night stay flew by, and the only disappointment was not staying longer. This is one of those rare places that exceeds expectations and leaves you already planning your return. A perfect Waiheke retreat — serene, stylish, and unforgettable.
That we had to come home!
Great stay at this little cabin below Mud Brick Winery. The location was perfect. We had a car so getting around was easy. The place was warm and comfortable and there's the option to buy local beer/wine although you don't need to do this as there's a supermarket in Oneroa or Ostend. We enjoyed lunch time meals and then had snacks back at the cabin in the evening which was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again
There's no wardrobe space to hang your clothes but this wasn't a major
View was insane and cabin was nice and cozy!

The cabins were beautiful the view incredible and Waiheke Island put on the best weather we were close to everything we wanted to be, definitely will be returning to this destination
Exceptional view and accommodation, loved all the special touches, will definitely be back.
The location and views are outstanding

It was the k for what we wanted. Had most things we needed and more
Lots of ants in the cabin. Chaircover had prominent hole in the arm. Not the best look when you are paying a premium price. Be aware it is not drive on. We did not know this when we booked and for elderly people this is not suitable as path is fairly steep and no hand rails in places.
C est un vrai coin de paradis Merci aux propriétaires de nous avoir permis de rêver
Tout est parfait
Kitchen set up was good. Beds comfortable. Clean and tidy. Lovely city view in the distance over the water.
On arrival we diiscovered a large bush spider dead in the hallway. A wasps nest was on the eaves over the deck and wasps actively flying around so wasnt great for sitting outside on the deck. Four adults staying but not enough couch space for four people to sit and relax on. Had the use dining table chairs. Local beer and wine in fridge and on counter for a charge. Didnt use and would have preferred for it not to be there. Roller blind to cover sliding door to deck wouldn't operate properly because kitchen counter stuck out too far which was a little annoying. Bedrooms tight and storage limited.
Close to where we were dining. The host was so flexible about where we could park our motorcycle.

Amazing location, excellent views, all round a great place to stay
View
Wonderful location with beautiful scenery and you can walk to 2 wineries within 5 to 10 minutes. Village is close also to walk down the hill.
The view was better than could ever be expected, it was clean and modern, and the location to Mudbrick was 10/10!
Emplacement mais trop près de la route avec vis à vis.
idem
The property is amazing chill vibe inside and stunning views off the deck, which was a great place to sip wine and watch the sunset over Auckland in the distance.
This only and FYI not a concern, it is about a 20min walk to the village wear you can get a few groceries. Recommend grabbing a few things before going to the cabin if you’re planning to stay in.
Great views and modern style
A small oven and hotplate for bar b que would have been great
The views
the location for our dinner at Mudbrick was excellent - just a 5 minute walk. Nice & quiet.
It would have been nice to have a wardrobe type setup so we could hang things up properly instead of hooks.
It was such a stunning lookout and a lovely spacious room
Maybe an umbrella- possibly there was one we didn’t see
Location is great is you’re attending a wedding at mudbrick, otherwise far from everything.
Beds weren’t overly comfortable, nor was there enough blankets or heaters or anything in the room. For $400 a night you expect the basics.
Clean, luxury, view, private
Ant infestation (small and not owners fault)
The location and view were fantastic. I loved it it close to a vineyard and also on the hop on hop off bus route.
Fantastic view, great location, nice and quiet.
The TV was stuck on a single channel - could not be changed. The remote did not work. While the bed was comfy the pillows were awful: thin and lumpy.
We had a family wedding across the road at Mudbrick Vineyard and booked a number of units. Very nice and so convenient.
Very close to Mudbrick for wedding guests, clean, new, we booked out three units for family members.
the place and island is beautiful

The location is stunning, gorgeous views, perfect for access to all the wonderful locations
Amazing location with stunning views. Situated opposite the entrance to Mudbrick vineyard.
The only place on our 6 week trip to add 3.5% to the Booking.com price for using a debit card! Disappointed with the cleanliness of the floors, our new white socks were filthy.
Location was amazing! Very pretty little cottage with all the facilities you needed for a quiet stay!
Not much space for large suitcases - a small detail.
The View. The shower. Nice and quiet.
The side of the road parking and the steps and slop down and up to the cabin. The amount of space the mine bar took up in the fridge.
It had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The manuals were very informative and told us everything we needed
We liked our stay at Syrah Cabin, it was walking distance to several wineries, but you needed a car or taxi to get elsewhere. Room was good and instructions for checkin were easy to follow. Lovely view at sunset.
Expensive
Amazing location with spectacular views and surroundings. House is extremely well appointed and has all you need for a short stay. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Recommended local taxi (Kat) and other tips were very helpful.
No negatives.
Great location and views
Bathroom is very small
The cabin is peaceful with gorgeous views, comfortable, clean and great proximity to Mudbrick winery.
Cannot name a single downside.
Fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk to Mudbrick Vineyard, beautiful views, modern and well appointed interior 😊
Beautiful view, great shower and kitchen facilities. Really nice location, walking distance to vineyards, town and walking trails
Would be useful to have a mirror in the room.
Just an incredible place - 'cabin' is understating it. The views across to Auckalnd and Rangitoto alone are worth the price, but it's the little touches that make this place special: all the fittings are metal where possible, the finishing is exceptional, and the wine is from across the road. It gave our stay a feeling of luxury and care that was beyond the price. It was also probably the best bed we've ever had - it shaped itself to us in a way neither of us had experienced before.
The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the 10am checkout - it's a small space, so it feels like 11/midday checkout could easily be accommodated, especially after a gentle stumble down the hill from an exceptional meal at the Mudbrick. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever.
Beautiful accommodation, fantastic views.
The view is stunning. One of the top locations on the island for its view. Cabin is perfectly suited for the location. Very clean, with everything you need. Perfect for a Waiheke holiday.
Rooms and bathroom are pretty compact, as is normal for a cabin. However it’s smartly designed for all the rooms to open up to the outside, allowing you to take advantage of the amazing location.
The location and facilities were perfect for a quick visit to Waiheke Island. Rooms were comfortable, kitchen and amenities great for a short stay. The views were incredible and the property quiet for a peaceful evening drinking wine overlooking the water. I'm hoping to come back soon with friends so they can experience it too. Recommended!
Nothing.
Accommodation was clean and tidy. Views were spectacular
A wardrobe to hang our clothes would have been nice
Beautiful cottage with idyllic views. Couldn’t be nicer.

This cabin is amazing! We were blown away with the view! Will be back
Location, view, and cabin were great. All amenities are available. Great location if you’re going to Mudbrick for a wedding.
It was right in front of the mudbrick vineyard where a friend's family wedding was held, so the location was so good and the view was fantastic. It wasn't spacious, but it was clean and nice to have a family of four. I would like to use it again next time.
Amazing view, clean and modern design, 15-20 min walk into town and across the street from mudbrick. There was no booking the previous night so we were able to check in early.
Requires taxi from ferry
Beautiful location. Very cosy and clean with everything we needed. So peaceful.
Nothing, it was great
Gorgeous view, quiet, a great escape but easy to walk to from ferry.
Beautiful location, big windows and deck, comfortable bedding, Nice to have coffee maker and other kitchen facilities were adequate. Host was very responsive to my messaging.
Lovely wash products in large bathroom, but imagine this would be very cold in winter. A bit unusual not to have a couch in living area.
