The Komu Canggu Bali

We had a fantastic stay at The Komu Canggu. The absolute highlight is the staff — honestly some of the best service we experienced during our trip. Whatever you need, they arrange it almost immediately. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Canggu, making it very easy to get around and explore everything the area has to offer. The hotel is also extremely clean. Our room was cleaned twice a day and everything always felt fresh and well maintained. Amazing staff, perfect location and excellent cleanliness. We would definitely stay here again!

The only downside is the nightlife noise. You can hear music from the clubs and occasionally drunk people shouting outside at night. But hey, you’re staying in the middle of Canggu — that’s part of the experience, so you can’t really complain!

Extremely comfortable. Having the private pool is such a treat after being in the heat. Great location too lots of places to choose to eat from.

That the TV only provides Netflix as a viewing option which is quite restrictive. Would be nice to have other streaming services available and also just free to air TV.

What really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone is just so friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They really go out of their way to make you feel right at home and make sure your stay is comfortable.I stayed in a well-equipped, nice room with a plunge pool, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. I could park my scooter in the secured underground garage.My absolute favorite part, though, was the insane view from the 5th floor. What blew me away was how remarkably quiet the whole place is inside, even though you're right in the middle of such a bustling, lively area.I will certainly return!

We loved the location, the best restaurants right outside your door. It’s definitely one of the busiest part of Canggu, we loved having everything at our doorstep. The room was tasteful & stylish. We liked the decor. The staff are all very lovely, warm & helpful. We thought it was great value for what you got. The bed was comfortable & a great hot shower.

We had a pool villa, I wouldn’t bother. It’s more like a pond & it wasn’t clean. The pool area was underwhelming & felt like an after thought.

GUYS BEST HOTEL EVER. not one thing wrong. Im a very picky person, and this hotel exceeded all my expections. honestly i was thinking of living there for a while. Felt so cozy, location is perfection. im going back for sure, just need to save up! thanks komu for the best stay ever!!!

The rooms were huge. There was a cool app that you could easily use to contact the staff. They also provided an amazing room upgrade making our anniversary super lovely. I also loved the location and the fact that they had many collaborations with businesses so we got discounts at few places.

The rooms are located a bit far from the lobby but its a minor issue

Great value, clean, close to everything including FINNS beach club. They upgraded me to a room on the top floor. However, that room had a faint smell of sewage. I'm thinking because there was not water from above to flush the system. I only stayed for two days but I would not recommend staying on an upper floor. They came and sprayed and ran the water but you could still smell it.

It’s really really good service from the step into the hotel. Everything , security help with luggage. Sending bag to room. Reception is very attentive. Room is super clean and super big. Love the bathtub. So comfortable. Bed very comfy.

Great location as it was in the heart of Canggu! Loved that it offered so many partnered discounts for beach clubs and nightclubs (even though I didn't end up using them). Room is spacious, especially as a lone traveler. I even got a free upgrade which I really appreciated.

Rooms are definitely a little dark due to the colour scheme and lighting is a little scarce. Did not particularly like how the layout of the hotel and how it is a little troublesome to walk.

Location was great, Atlas and Finns next door couldn’t hear the party. Service was extraordinary, very friendly and accommodating. Grab drivers always available

Tout était parfait. C’est la première fois de ma vie que je laisse un commentaire sur booking et dieu seul sait combien d’hôtels j’ai été, partout. Cet hôtel mérite que je prenne le temps d’un vrai feedback, tellement j’étais satisfaite; en quittant l’hôtel (après 11 nuits) j’étais triste, je voulais rester plus longtemps. L’emplacement est top (quartier nightlife) proche de tout, il y a tout ce qu’il faut walking distance. Service excellent, pas très loin d’un service palace ou le client est au centre de l’attention. Tout le monde est au petit soin. L’hôtel dispose dune application super pratique pour programmer la lessive, le ménage, les différents services, etc. J’échangeais directement avec le staff sur Whatssap (très pratique). Le checkin est super rapide et efficace. En arrivant dans la chambre, on trouve un snack et un petit mot (très sympa après 18 heures de vol) et puis chaque jour, le staff met a disposition 4 bouteilles d’eau et biensur capsules de café et thé. Pendant le séjour, je suis tombée malade, j’ai demande un médecin et depuis ce moment la, le staff m’appelait pour demander de mes nouvelles. Le personnel est juste incroyable. J’ai eu des coupures d’électricité dans ma chambre et a chaque fois, ils ont été extrêmement réactifs et fait le suivi. Au bout de la deuxième panne, ils m’ont proposé et encouragé a changer de chambre, ce que j’ai fini par accepter (je m’étais déjà habituée a ma chambre que j’aimais beaucoup). On ma surclassée dans une suite immense. Après 11 nuits a Canggu, je suis partie a Gili et ne voulais pas traîner ma grande valise avec moi, je leur ai demande s’il était possible de la garder pour quelques jours et ils ont gentiment accepté. Il y a tellement dautres choses mais bref, j’ai surkiffé mon séjour. Mille merci.

Great location, lovely staff and close to some great restaurants. Comfortable bed and facilities good.

Individual pools were not clean (we had 3 rooms across the hotel) and all were dirty which was a bit disappointing. The hotel changed body wash soap in showers from our last stay…the old body wash soap was just delicious smelling and luxurious (I was so sad that it was no longer available).

The property is very well located in Canggu and the rooms are designed in a modern, stylish way.

Our room was facing directly towards Vault, a neighboring nightclub, and was quite difficult to catch any sleep until 5 AM when the crowd is gone. The crowd + music + bikes and honking didn’t stop but was quite loud especially towards then end of the night. This was an awful experience and we didn’t have enough time during the day to change rooms and offering us a late checkout felt just like a bandaid. I was casually told by the staff that they have updated my profile “to prefer a quiet room” for my future bookings like it was “I prefer loud room” in the first place… This needs serious attention from the management of the hotel as I am sure many customers faced the same issue already.

Really friendly and attentive staff. Super comfy bed. Very clean room. Even though we were on the ground floor, it wasn't noisy at all. Rooms are cleaned / turndown service twice a day (not disruptive as long as we put the sign on the door!) so clean towels, sheets, Tanamera coffee pods, drinking water and toiletries were generously refilled. Hotel facilities are simple but everything was beautifully designed.

WiFi kept disconnecting, we couldn't connect with our given credentials - had to keep relogging in multiple times a day. One power socket wasn't working and they did check it while we went out but we were informed that it was functioning fine. Perhaps it works for 2-pin plugs but not for 3-pin plugs. We applied Booking.com's search functions to find places closest to the beach but it''s still a distance away... but the location is still convenient yet isolated enough

Komu is such a vibrant and stylish place to stay. I have to say, the standard is absolutely impeccable. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the restaurant experience, everything exceeded my expectations. As someone who loves art and thoughtful design, I was completely in awe. Every detail throughout the property—from the architecture and interiors to the beautifully designed rooms and restaurant—felt intentional and inspiring. The ice cream shop right in front of the hotel was the icing on the cake and such a fun little bonus! The cleanliness was also outstanding. Our room was serviced twice during our stay, and it always felt fresh, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Without a doubt, this was one of my favourite places I’ve stayed in Canggu. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, design-focused stay with exceptional service.

Good location and nice rooftop pool.

We booked two rooms but the pool king studio was tiny. You are better off booking a king Studio as it is much bigger. We were also on ground floor right next to construction site and couldn’t use our pool due to dust and noise. They also put us in Block E which was right down the back of the property, down stairs. Not easy for my 80 year old mother to walk up and down!!!!

We waren enorm dankbaar voor de upgrade van onze kamer. Hierdoor werden we wakker in een echte droom.

Gym was heel klein, er zijn 5 toestellen (cardio) en enkele gewichten maar dat was het dan ook. Het ontbijt kon ons jammer genoeg niet bekoren tov onze andere hotels deze vakantie. Het zwembad was heel koud waardoor het ons niet aansprak om te zwemmen.

The Mexican restaurant at the front of the hotel was excellent. The reception team are lovely and friendly.

My room was in the ‘basement’ very little natural light even though there was huge windows, I couldn’t use the outside space due to excessively loud building works. You can’t swim in the pool it’s far too shallow, the pool bar service is non existent. the corridor to my room smelt of sewage. The gym is also in the basement and didn’t feel comfortable to use.

Excellent location in the heart of Canggu, with great cafés, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The hotel was modern, clean and had a great atmosphere, with some good food options on-site. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I arrived with an ankle injury and they were very accommodating, assisting wherever they could and always checking in to make sure I was comfortable.

The location is fantastic, but because it’s in the heart of Canggu, there can be some noise from nearby bars and clubs at night depending on where your room is. During my stay there was also some early morning noise while the rooftop pool was being maintained, but after I mentioned it to the team they adjusted the maintenance schedule, which I really appreciated.

J’ai beaucoup voyagé et c’est de loin le meilleur hôtel dans lequel j’ai séjourné. Le service et le personnel sont vraiment exceptionnels, et c’est ce qui donne tout son charme à cet établissement. Mention particulière à Brat et Sayu. Mon séjour a coïncidé avec mon anniversaire et j’ai eu le plaisir de recevoir une part de cheesecake ainsi qu’un très gentil mot pour me souhaiter une belle journée. La propreté de l’hôtel est irréprochable, aussi bien dans les chambres que dans les espaces communs. Nous avons même pu prier dans leur salle de prière après avoir effectué notre check-out. L’expérience a été incroyable. Je recommande cet hôtel à 100 %. Il est très bien situé. Merci au peuple balinais pour ce magnifique séjour.

Each and every staff that passes by you smiles and greets you warmly. The hotel is conveniently located just opposite Starbucks and a minimart, with plenty of cozy cafes, small boutiques and even Guardian (3 minutes walk). Updated technology and facilities, modern interiors. Staff catered to my needs promptly with patience. Hassle free check in and out.

The app was a little difficult to use at first, spent quite some time figuring out how to order in etc via the app which resorted me to calling concierge directly instead. (Of which they answered promptly nonetheless)
