We had to upgraded one room as one of the rooms we booked did not have air conditioning.

A nice house with geckos and tree frogs on the walls, comfortable enough for a pleasant stay, not far from good restaurants and Lion Rock.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön groß.

Das Frühstück war etwas wenig und uns wurde am Ende eine Service Pauschale berechnet, die wir nicht nachvollziehen konnten. Das gab es ansonsten bei keiner anderen Unterkunft.

Esúper bien ubicado, justo en el medio de todos los lugares de interés, por lo que resulta muy cómodo para recorrer todo sin necesidad de desplazarse Sin duda, lo mejor fueron sus dueños: súper amables, atentos y encantadores. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento.

Bellissima struttura immersa nella natura. Abbiamo preso la camera con terrazza che si affaccia sulla pidurangala. É stato un piacere per l'anima stare seduti li fuori a godersi il ritmo lento e naturale dello sri lanka. Siamo stati benissimo! Stanza pulitissima e il personale ci ha aiutato anche dandoci passaggi all' alba per le nostre escursioni. Top!!

Très bon séjour à Sigiri Dilu Villa ! Nous avons surtout apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité de notre hôte, toujours prêt à nous conseiller, à nous aider dans l’organisation de nos journées et à trouver des solutions pour faciliter notre séjour. Son accueil a vraiment fait la différence. La chambre est grande et spacieuse, avec un confort assez simple mais tout à fait suffisant pour quelques nuits. La villa est située en pleine nature, dans un environnement calme et agréable, avec le chant des oiseaux au réveil. Elle est bien placée pour découvrir Sigiriya et les environs. Pour se déplacer, le plus pratique est de prendre des tuk-tuk, que l’on trouve facilement. Une adresse simple et agréable, que nous recommandons surtout pour la qualité de l’accueil, la bienveillance de l’hôte et le cadre paisible.

Es ist genauso wunderschön wie auf den Bildern. Die Aussicht ist toll und man ist ganz nah an Papageien, Schmetterlingen und Leguanen. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker, der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Es gibt nur wenige aber dafür leckere Restaurants in Laufnähe.

Dilu war ein wirklich toller und aufmerksamer Gastgeber! Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohlgefühlt. Er war jederzeit hilfsbereit und die Unterkunft eine der drei besten (auch, was Lage und Sauberkeit betrifft) auf unserer Rundreise. Vielen Dank, Dilu!

Dilu, de gastheer is een erg behulpzame jongen. Hij heeft ons geholpen met scooterhuur, excursies en had iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt voor ons.

Ik zou als advies aan Dilu en familie willen geven om het WiFi-signaal wat te verbeteren, dat viel af en toe wat tegen, maar meestal prima. Verder was alles echt heel fijn!

Friendly staff, a little out of town but easy to get around, nice large clean rooms, need to switch on the hot water. Lots of good recommendations for restaurants and help organising activities.

Beautifully situated, such friendly and helpful staff and great food! Drove us to Pidurangula rock for sunrise in his own tuktuk!

It was very clean and comfortable. Food was really delicious. It was near to the sigiriya rock so it was easy for us. We are a family of 4 and the room we recieved had more space so it was a really great stay.

An amazing room in the hills of Ella. The balcony was extraordinary, the room was also amazing. We were really delighted by all the facilities and the hostess also cooked us some snacks at noon, as we would skip breakfast the next day. Highly recommended.

The road until the hotel is really narrow, so it is not that easy to approach it with a car.

Nos gustó el hotelito en el medio de la selva. Esta muy cerca de las rocas a las que incluso se pueden ir caminando, pero mejor en tuk tuk si querés ir muy temprano. Hay lugar para estacionar coche o tuk tuk. Sirven desayuno por la mañana. El ventilador y el aire funcionan a la perfección para aguantar el calor. Nos lavaron la ropa y quedó muy bien.

We loved our stay here - everything was clean and comfortable and the host was so kind and helpful. The garden here is also beautiful.

あまりに森の中で、Pick meが機能せず、市街地には歩くかホストに連れてってもらうかしかないのが若干不便でした。Wi-fiが結構弱く、電波も弱いので最初は戸惑いましたが、なんだかんだ使えるのでだんだん慣れます。 夜に窓を開け放すと、朝シャワールームが虫まみれになるので気をつけてください！

This place was in a beautiful Location and truly the staff made it so special! They are the sweetest and most genuine people. We really recommend staying here if you want to feel like part of a big family. Breakfast was also incredible 😊

Helpful staff who arranged TukTuks at a reasonable price. It is possible to walk to Pidurangala rock from the property. It is also very close to a beautiful temple.

The location is a bit far from town so it is necessary to get a TukTuk after dark due to the wild elephants in the area. There was no mini fridge or safe deposit box.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb, aber sehr schön und ruhig in der Natur gelegen. Die Zimmer waren schön und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber, wir würden wiederkommen :)

Wir hatten leider kein warmes Wasser und für einen halben Tag Stromausfall.

Probably the best place we could have chosen in Sigiriya. The property is very green, peaceful, and cozy, with a beautiful natural atmosphere, and it’s conveniently located close to both Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock. The host, Dilu, is wonderful – incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, with a big heart. He also organizes different trips, and we especially recommend the kayak trip on the lake – it was a fantastic afternoon.

Our room was quite dark and a bit hot. Although there was a mosquito net, we felt a little hesitant to keep the window open at night. There was also no hot water, which was a bit challenging.

Rustige, mooie setting. Zeer vriendelijk gezin die steeds voor je klaarstaat. De kamer was proper. Op 500m van het lokale marktje. Je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld!

Cicha, dobra lokalizacja. Duży plus za czystość. Sprawna klimatyzacja i wiatrak. Bardzo wygodne materace. Smaczne śniadania typu lankijskiego. Dodatkowo dwukrtnie zamawialiśmy kolację też bardzo smacznie! Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa.

The location is super convenient and close to local restaurants, the room we picked was just incredible, and the owner incredibly kind and nice.

The family were lovely. Food was also good. The place is set in lovely garden setting. There is no real center/hub in Sigiriya. It’s kind of really spread out. At first we felt like we were staying in the middle of nowhere then realized we could do a short tuk tuk to Pid rock, we were 5 mins walk from the temple with the huge white Buddha that you can see from the top of the rocks, and about a 30 min walk from thalkote lake. Other than that we jumped in to tuktuk to go to other places to eat which was easy,

Very comfortable Stay. Nice bed and spacious private bathroom. No a/c in our Room, but the fan was enough. The breakfast was delicious. Super Nice staff.

The owner was very nice and always helpful and the breakfast was very good. The rooms were big, clean and had a wonderful view. The location is really beautiful in the middle of nature.

Sehr sauber. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Gutes Frühstück und gute Lage um zum Berg zu gelangen.

Die toll Betreuung durch die Besitzer die zu jeder Tageszeit abrufbereit waren und stets ihre Unterstützung angeboten haben. Ebenso haben sie sich um Ausflüge und Transporte gekümmert und diese organisiert, dass war außergewöhnlich gut !

Unser Zimmer war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ziemlich feucht, was nicht so angenehm war.

Dilu is a lovely man and the location is wonderfully close to the main attractions - a large lake is also down the road which you can kayak on, highly recommend! The food was delicious!

Unfortunately our room was very damp, the smell was strong, and the bedding felt a little wet, because of this we didn’t feel entirely comfortable in the room. That being said it’s an incredible price and the people are very kind.

Overall, the stay was comfortable and the meals were good. However, we were a bit surprised to be charged extra for water bottles during breakfast. It would be much more convenient if water was included as part of the meal.

Dilu nos regaló unos días en Sigirya muy especiales, el hotel muy limpio y un habitación grande y muy cómoda. El desayuno muy bueno también. Nos ayudaron a planear nuestros días por allí y mostraron mucha preocupación por si estábamos cómodas con ellos y a salvo por los alrededores. Cerca del Pirudangala, del cual volvimos andando y un paseo muy agradable. Muy recomendable!!

S ubytováním jsme byli spokojeni, poměr cena výkon odpovídající. Majitel se o nás velmi pěkně staral a zařídil nám vše potřebné, i safari do národního parku Kaudulla, kde jsme viděli mnoho slonů. Z ubytování jsme se taky pěšky prošli na Pidurangala rock. Snídaně i večeře byly výborné.

Alles! Von vorne bis hinten alles top. Hatten keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück war hervorragend! Besitzer sehr freundlich und fragte immer nach. Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb dafür ist es sehr ruhig.

La amabilidad del personal fue increíble. Tando Dilu como su familia nos trataron genial. La comida estuvo genial, hicimos varias comidas allí y espectacular, sobre todo el desayuno. Dilu nos ayudó para podernos mover con facilidad haciéndonos recomendaciones y facilitándonos el transporte para cuando lo necesitábamos. Para ir hasta la Lion’s Rock se puede ir perfectamente andando (son unos 20 minutos desde el alojamiento y el camino es fácil y seguro). El resto de desplazamientos los hicimos en tuk tuk que nos venían a recoger y volver en el alojamiento. El entorno era muy bonito y la habitación también era muy bonita y muy limpia. Precio calidad todo increíble. Si volvemos a Sri Lanka, volveremos seguro.

Al estar en medio de la naturaleza es obvio que te puedes encontrar con algún que otro animal. Pero vale muchísimo la pena.

Smaczna kolacja choc kurczaka bo bardzo mało- 8 kawałeczków kurczaka na 4 osoby. Ciekawe czy ryby byłoby więcej. 1 danie w restauracji to wiecej kurczaka niż tu na 4 osoby. Sporo warzyw i ryzy wiec najedlismy sie, było smaczne I świeże ale dla mięsożerców za malo

Magnificent treatment, super clean, good location. The hotel owner was really helpful and friendly at all times. Another advantage was that there were bikes available for renting. We had the best experience biking around Sigiriya and Pirindugala, watching the temples and wonderful views from the lake. 1000% recommended!

The manager Dilu was amazing. He was very attentive, a good person and warm. He helped us in everything and gave super good advice. The breakfast was amazing.

The room was super hot especially at night, being difficult to fall asleep. We hope that the business runs so well in the upcoming years that rooms can be upgraded with AC. There were some bugs in the room, but as we were in the jungle this was expected. There was a mosquito net on top of the bed to avoid them.

The guest house is so beautiful. So calm and peaceful. We stayed 4 nights with a baby and it was just perfect. Diluka and his father (and the all family) are so nice and helpful. Breakfast is great and they offer lunch / diner which is perfect. They drove us around and were always available and with good advice. I highly recommend!!!

Dilu is a familie run hotel who are very attentative and do their utmost best to make their guests feel comfortable. They have a nice garden. Rooms are spotless clean. Dilu helpt arrange many activities guarenteing a great stay (e.g. My wife went for spa treatment, while Dilu brought me and my son to a hyper, modern coffeehouse (barista?) enjoyed a EXCELLENT cup of coffee, went on safari (saw a lot of elephants) and climbt 'pidurangala' rock. Location, quiet place, clean, great hospitality, they cook great meals at very reasonable prices. The hosts can provide anything you need, order a tuk tuk, get a driver with a car for tours or transfers or a jeep for safari, even bicycles for rent. Highly recommend.

Amazing place so lucky to have stayed here ! Dilu our host was so friendly and helpful always with a smile on his face which always makes a difference! We had a newly renovated room with a lovely balcony with a view of Pidurangala rock! Really comfortable beds and newly installed AC unit was a huge relief after spending the day exploring. We only stayed 3 nights and honestly we could have stayed 3 weeks ! Breakfast was tasty , traditional Sri Lankan foods whilst admiring the view from our balcony was memorable. Dilu also organised a safari for us which turned out to be amazing ! We also rented bicycles for the day for 700 rupees each to explore the town :) The homestay only has 4 rooms which really made it feel homely and welcoming. The homestay is around a 30/40 min walk to the main area with all the restaurants etc so either rent a bicycle or get a tuk tuk which is easy enough :) Amazing value for 3 nights , honestly think they should be charging more , so if you come to Sigiriya book here if you can !

Amazing stay with Dilu and his family! The guesthouse is ideally located, close to both rocks, and you can even go for sunrise by tuk-tuk with the host. You can also rent a bicycle for 700 rupees and explore the beautiful surroundings: rice fields, lakes, open landscapes… always with a nice spot to stop for a fresh juice with a view. I discovered so many local dishes and tropical fruits during my stay. The room was very spacious, with a fan, a small fridge, and a lovely terrace to relax on. I highly recommend this place — thank you again Dilu for such a wonderful stay!
