Die Lage ist sehr gut. Nette und hilfsbereite Crew. Netter Aufenthaltsraum.

Das Badezimmer ist schon sehr abgenutzt und nicht richtig sauber gewesen. Die Zimmer könnte man u.a. mit Kleiderbügel ausstatten um Klamotten trocknen zu können.

Estupendo albergue. Uno de los mejores en los que he estado.

Un poco caro para lo que es, pero teniendo en cuenta los precios del alojamiento en Escocia. No está nada mal.

The bedroom was lovely and the mattresses were comfortable. Nice soft, clean bedding and towels. Facilities generally were nice and staff absolutely lovely. Toilets needed a little upkeep as one was broken and other one had missing toilet seat, so only ah done fully working while I was there. Still, great value for money and would stay again!

The continental breakfast was very simple and could have done with some more options to make it worth the £4.50. otherwise you end up paying 4.50 for two pieces of toast and a bowl of cereal, which seems a little steep, especially since the tea and coffee is already free of charge.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. In der Gemeinschaftsküche war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend.

Location was good. Jess, Alice and staff were helpful and willing to listen to problems. I suggested a sign be put in place asking for silence in corridor after 11pm. She agreed. Also that door from reception be closed at a reasonable time. Jess agreed. The lounge area was comfortable. Coffee/Tea was available.

Late 5pm check in was a hassle. Noise everywhere, all hours. Our room 9 was opposite communal kitchen, being used late into night. A group of people were talking until well after midnight. I came out in my pyjamas, John, a volunteer or employee, apologised. And he closed the door. Through the night groups passed our door forgetting others might be in bed attempting to sleep. Employees/volunteers all seem to be temporary so there is no continuity. But Jess did promise she would speak to her boss. I noticed the internal duvets were shabby and torn.

Está situado en la calle principal muy cerca de la estación de tren. Hay bares restaurantes y supermercado muy cerca. Cuenta con bonitas zonas comunes, salones y cocina, con café y té gratis.

La habitación para 2 personas es correcta para un hostel. El baño, dentro de la habitación, es pequeño, sin reformar y oscuro.

Comfortable bed, bigger than double which was great. Clean, great lounge area, friendly staff.

A bit noisy, what you’d expect with an old building, creaky floors etc. since guests but keeping their voices down over night/before 7am, and I guess the soundproofing wasn’t great. Or room was lovely, great view and little sitting area in the window. Shower room a little tired but fully functional which is the priority.

L’accueil de Jess était très sympathique. Plutôt bien situé au centre d’une grande rue où se trouve commerces et restos. Les sanitaires très propres (douches et toilettes). Petit dej très complet (céréales, boissons froides et chaudes, fruits). Grande pièces à vivre (côté avec espace pour manger et l’autre canapés et coin tranquille).

Second stay at the Backpackers and it remains a lovely hostel with decent facilities, especially the kitchen. Staff were excellent, as they were last time. It's nice to have free tea and coffee available. The mixed room we were in was very quiet and guests are generally considerate.

The main challenges this time were the bunk beds, which were pretty creaky and therefore difficult to sleep in without waking people up. There are no ladders so you have to sort of climb up the frame - doable if you've got long legs! The pillows were also quite uncomfortable. It might also be handy to have a space to get changed in which isn't a small toilet cubicle, if you're in a mixed dorm and don't want to get changed in the room. I'd say £30 per person is quite a lot for this standard of hostel but I guess everything is more expensive these days!

Kitchen get locks and you can't acess the fridge. Towels for 3£ is ridiculous especially considering what they charge per night for a bunk.

Excellent, cheap option for overnight stay

We loved the vibe, and it was exactly the type of accommodation we needed at that point in our vacation. The lounge is fantastic, and while we didn't cook in the kitchen, it was well equipped and we used it to prepare snacks, as well as for an impromptu solar eclipse viewer. It was, in fact, the 2026 eclipse, but unfortunately, it was cloudy. I had a great conversation with the manager, greatly appreciated the parking, and we all slept very well.

Backpacker assez basique et rustique. Impression générale que l'établissement aurait besoin d'un bon coup de nettoyage/peinture. Lits peu confortables. Salles de bain très petites. Attention, il y a un autre backpacker dans la même ville. Je me suis trompé d'adresse en arrivant (mais c'est ma faute, j'aurais dû mieux vérifier).

Pues realmente, todo fue positivo y agradable.

L'établissement bien situé, accueil sympas, le personnel est bien informé et vous donne pas mal de renseignements au besoin.

Etablissement a besoin d'un bon coup de rafraichissement et l'odeur de cuisine qui se repend dans toutes les étages est assez désagréable.

Personnel accueillant et disponible. Chambre calme. Petit déjeuner convivial avec les autres voyageurs ! Je recommande.

Es antiguo, sin mantenimiento. La cama se hundía, se nota que los colchones son viejos. El pasillo es muy ruidoso, se escuchaba cuando alguien pasaba y hablaba.

Well located on the main street for shops, restaurants, etc and a few minutes from the train station. Secure bike storage. Free tea, coffee and with milk! Basic room but as expected. Nice lounge area.

Room and ensuite are 'tired' but not unexpected. Kitchen was dirty but this was due to other guests not cleaning up after themselves despite the efforts of the staff.

El barrio y la zona son muy tranquilas. Cerca hay muchos restaurantes con variedad de comidas.

El servicio es bastante escaso, tenemos que quitar nuestras propias sábanas y colchas. Y no solo eso, si no que además la cama es incómoda, el baño privado demasiado pequeño y el papel de wc nada confortable.

Le Pitlochry Backpackers est vraiment un endroit où l’on se sent bien. Le personnel y est attentif, très sérieux. Et l’ambiance musicale créée par son manager Derrick permet d’y faire de nombreuses découvertes intéressantes. C’est très confortable, propre, et accueillant.

Ostello delizioso, avevamo una camera a 4 letti con il bagno. Tutto molto pulito e letti comodi. Situato proprio in centro paese, ma silenzioso. Ci tornerei.

staff were very helpful and moved me to a shared room with fewer beds. Also, I had to leave the hotel suddenly to attend to a family matter and again, the staff were very obliging.

I found the hostel clean but shabby.

The room was basic as you'd expect from a youth hostel. The staff was very nice and of course it's affordable accommodation in a very busy location!

An der Rezeption hat uns ein sehr netter und freundlicher Mann empfangen. Das Hostel ist originell und gemütlich gestaltet. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist etwas klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Tee, Kaffee und Kakao standen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Unser Zimmer war nach hinten raus und sehr ruhig. Hinter dem Gebäude gibt es einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz für die Gäste. Die Lage ist zentral an der Hauptstraße. Da der Ort nicht sehr groß ist, ist alles zu Fuß leicht erreichbar.

Es gibt ein geräumiges Treppenhaus, jedoch keinen Fahrstuhl. Für uns war das kein Problem.

The place is very clean and the communal areas are lovely. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The decor is really fun and quirky and the location is perfect. We ended up staying one extra night.

The beds are quite uncomfortable and it would have been nice for all showers to have pegs on them to facilitate people bringing their clothes in them as they are mixed gender

Abbiamo soggiornato nella stanza matrimoniale per una notte. Sicuramente la pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata, così come il materasso un po' sfondato. Lo staff è comunque molto cortese e simpatico. La posizione è centrale e l'auto può essere posteggiata nel parcheggio posteriore gratuitamente.

Die Lage war optimal für Wanderungen, Einkäufe und Transport mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.

Ich hatte ein Oberbett. Es gab keine Ablage, kein Licht und keine Steckdose am Bett. Der Speisenraum befand sich ziemlich weit entfernt von der Küche. Die Küche war sehr klein, es gab nur eine Spüle.

I appreciate the welcome from Gordon, his help to find the place I wanted to go, i.e. the Town Hall, and the location definitely! What a blessed the location! Before I found where the Station Road is, the hotel was almost passed. I also like the Vitoria building, the wooden, original furniture, and the leaning girls' hardwork. Also, I appreciate all the help I got, whether from the professional publisher, who taught me the French spelling of "chocolat" without e at the end:) or the lady who kindly lent her mobile charger and even looked after my phone until well after middle of the night. How lucky I was to be in the room where everyone was friendly and civil and considerate. Defo will recommend it and will come again and again.

The house was old but cosy. The location was excellent right in the middle of the town.

The hostel is located right in the middle of town. It has spacious and comfortable lounge and a dining room, plus a well-equipped kitchen. The Wifi is fast. Parking is great, right behind the hostel and ample space for motorcycles. A great plus was the drying room, where one could dry the soaked clothes and equipment.

One of the toilets was out of order.

This was my second time stay at this backpackers, and the experience was just like last time, it was a very good stay. Management, facility and cleanliness were great.

Personally I felt, check - in time should be between 3 pm to 4 pm, because that's what I usually get in my other hostels vacation stay.

Comfy beds with plenty of room and a good shower. Friendly helpful staff, a great hostel type set up. Would visit again.

This was my first time staying here, and I had a fantastic experience overall! The complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and tea selection were lovely touches that really make a difference. A huge thank you to the helpful staff, who all spoke good-to-fluent English and made everything smooth. Special thanks to the staff members from the Czech Republic for the warm conversations and great energy throughout my stay!

Minor maintenance note regarding the shower doors – a guest accidentally opened the door while I was using it. It's strictly a technical issue rather than a staff one, but fixing the locks would help avoid awkward moments for future guests!

Está bien ubicado en el centro de Pitlochry y está bien para el precio que tiene. El personal es amable y tiene aparcamiento.

Está todo bastante viejo, vendría bien renovar las moquetas y la pintura de las paredes.

Hostel situado en la céntrica calle, se trata de un edificio antiguo pero conservado y decorado con encanto. Cuenta con parking propio. Nos alojamos en la habitación privada con lavabo. El tamaño era correcto. Se encontraba limpio y tenía encanto. Por los precios de la zona, y de Escocia en general, estaba muy bien. La cocina está totalmente equipada.

La cocina quizás le faltaba algo de organización en la limpieza siendo tantos huéspedes. Tampoco pudimos hacer uso de ella siendo el check in tan tarde (17:00h, el más tardío hasta el momento de toda Escocia).

The kitchen had lots of useful utensils (quantity and range). Free tea and coffee with oat milk provided. And cooled water. Nice to be able to book a private en suite double room in a hostel. The room and hostel were not noisy (from surrounding area).

An outdoor space on the property would be nice. Also while we had space, the kitchen and dining room were on the smaller side.
