Host was very rude not know how to treat your guest and how to manage guest at all worst experience ever on my birthday i still recommend hostellers kempty best experience was there and the staff is very good person and polite

We were very excited to stay here but we were not able to get a taxi from nearby Mussoorie. I rang up the hostel several times, but never got a reply, and eventually they called me back and refused to help me book a taxi to arrive at the hostel. I asked if they knew anyone else who could help, and they said no. A total lack of willingness to help, so we couldn't even make our booking. Very disappointing :(

Amazing location if planning long stay

The Kitchen staff is too rude and they don’t know how to behave specially the fat guy who handle the kitchen counter, the guy is too unprofessional Secondly now no activities has been initiated and only few people are there who make there own group and enjoy on there own They won’t allow loud music after 10 Promise us that they will do Bonefire however they gave 4-5 sticks and left us on our own we try to ask for wood however they denied.

The staffs are really good.

Basic amenities like shower gel and towel should be provided.

The best property I would say. Breathtaking views from the rooms and so pure and fresh around. I love the place and amazing views. The private rooms were also good.

Our stay at Zostel Mussoorie was truly wonderful! The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a warm, welcoming vibe. A special shoutout to our amazing host, Mr. Rajesh, and the friendly volunteer – they made our experience even more memorable. I was traveling with my father, and despite his age, Rajesh went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at home. The food was delicious, and the café coffee deserves a special mention – hands down the best! From the hospitality to the views, this stay was perfect in every way. Highly recommended!

Though the property is a bit on the outskirts, the stunning views more than make up for it—absolutely worth it!

The property is in a fantastic location, surrounded by beautiful nature. The stay was great, with an amazing view. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean.

There were frequent WiFi issues at this location, where a strong network is essential. Unfortunately, the rooms had poor WiFi connectivity. Drinking water was inconveniently located, requiring a long walk downstairs. As for the café food, apart from the roti and sabzi, everything else was disappointing—especially the sandwiches, pizza, Manchurian rice, and pancakes.

Overall the stay was excellent. The location and vibe is superb. The only thing missing was a provision to workout inside the premises. Some basic equipment’s could really make a lot of difference. Food was nice and very reasonable too. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location, although but far from the city, hence when it rained there wasn’t much to do. But overall the stay was beautiful, the treehouse is a whole different vibe to stay. Good that they provide heaters in every room.

Transportation is little challenging as while reaching to the property, most drivers denied and overcharged us all times, although Scooter services are available from the hostel but those are expensive too.

everything, the whole experience staying in a little treehouse in those mountains was a beautiful way to end the trip.

This is one of its kind truly exceptional properties of the region and certainly the best experience outside my own home. I stayed there for 1 night with my mother. Everything was beautiful and people are very nice. Ambiance is very different than classical hotels. Location and local food is fantastic. We will surely come back.

Everything is Just amazing, feel like home Ravi bhaiya was an Great host and easy and husttle free Checkin and it is my second home, all is upto mark.

The first night we had dogs fighting outside on our verandah all night. The last night a large party group booked in and kept partying till 4am. Terrible place to have a restful sleep.

I would go back to Kempty just to stay at this hostel. Amazing location. It's away from the town, so it's super quiet. It's by the stream that is refreshing to look at, to listen to, to take a dip... I enjoyed exploring the area. Hike to the secret waterfall, to the Mussorie Forest Sanctuary, the temples, etc. Amazing staff, very helpful. The cafe has a wide variety of good food. There are abundant common spaces, indoor and outdoor, with games, books, music, and all sorts of things to do. The rooms are clean, with large windows for a beautiful view of the valley. I can go on and on, but just take my word for it. It's amazing.

I like the property and location all the staff were good except one lady who sits on reception forcibly sending cleaning staff in our room although we have asked few minutes to check out… that lady should not be allowed to sit on reception..

I like the property and location all the staff were good except one lady who sits on reception forcibly sending cleaning staff in our room although we have asked few minutes to check out… that lady should not be allowed to sit on reception.. there was an electricity issue and blast in transformer just behind our room and got disturb early in the morning.. we couldn’t sleep properly from early morning and another side that lady keep sending cleaning staffing to check out the room
