Best stay we have ever had. We had an amazing experience here. Full of nature and surrounded by mountains. They have river stream also. We enjoyed river side a lot. Such a thrilling and satisfying experience we had in The himalaya retreat. Thanks to Mr rahul ji and his team for making our stay memorable and joyful. Best recommended for families 😍😍

The Himalaya Retreat & Resort hotel is a super hotel & adventure sports lovers paradise . We fully enjoyed our stay as the property is just situated in the lap of mountains. We will always like to stay here whenever we visit mussorie.

Food was yummy and hygiene,location is very good overall everything was good wonderful experience , staff were very cooperative and polite.

Staff is not available i call twice to saurabh but he never responded. No one came for cleaning, housekeeping missing all the time, on the name of toiletries only hand wash is provided. I booked 3 rooms but towels given in only 1 room. Staff not interaction busy in their own work... as a guest my expectations are high but services are disappointed.

The host and staff members were very helpful, and we genuinely enjoyed our stay there. The surroundings are peaceful and very close to nature. If you are tired of busy city life, this is an amazing retreat to relax, refresh yourself, and reconnect your soul with nature. You can also enjoy many activities at the resort. Overall, my experience was fabulous.

The staff hospitality, the owner sir & madam specially shushila madam were very kind, helpful & her hospitality nature was excellent.

The resort was nestled in the lap of the hills, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere that healed you from within.

Very bad experience, very rude employees. Too far from the main town. There is no Convenience. No shop or restaurant nearby. I have to walk around 1.5km to go to the local shop. In the hotel restaurant the food is not good. I will not suggest this place for holiday purposes. A very very bad place to stay.

The place was just perfect for a family stay.. Nearby Kempty falls. Trekking and nature walking was exciting. The staff were kind and helpful. Food was good.

I stayed there for 1 night with my family. Food was below average. Property was not cleaned.Electricity issue was also there. There is scope lots of improvement.

It was an amazing experience for all of us. It was spur of the moment last minute plan and we booked Himalaya Retreat Resort because nothing else was available. But we were in for a pleasant experience. This resort is part of Himalayan Adventure Institute (HAI) and has amazing range of fun filled adventure activities. We did hiking, rappling, river crossing, zip lining, rock climbing, shooting, archery. My kids loved every moment. Resort owners Shushila and Naveen are amazing and we really loved their hospitality. Staff is very curteous and well trained. Saurav and Ranjeet were very helpful, well qualified and accomodating. I have done some of the these activities before but at HAI it was at whole different level. We really look forward to another trip to HAI and would recommend it to anyone planning a wholesome fun filled trip to Mussoorie. Thank you!

Our stay at Himalaya Retreat Resort has been one of the finest and most memorable experiences we've had this year! Rooms are not maintained.. there are lots of insects.. room paint is peeling off from the roof. If you are going to book this room for a view you have to bring a mosquito net with you otherwise you cannot sleep over there.. cheap mattresses are used it's hard life rock🪨. In simple words not maintained 1% hygiene.

I recently stayed there for my birthday trip, and it turned out to be an experience beyond my expectations. From the serene stream that added a soothing backdrop to our conversations to the impeccable service and ambiance, everything felt just right. The food was a true highlight—every meal was refined, flavorful, and well-curated. The attention to detail in every aspect, from hospitality to cleanliness, made the stay even more enjoyable. Whether it was the peaceful surroundings or the quality time spent, this staycation was an absolute delight. Overall, a perfect blend of relaxation, good company, and top-notch service.

Nothing to like there.

They are very commercial, a person took the snacks from outside and asked for the plate but the staff replied that it is chargeable. The heater is on a chargeable basis, the bonfire is on a chargeable basis, everything is on a chargeable basis. We were in fear that in case they bill us for consuming oxygen at the time of checkout, we need to take a loan to pay at the property. They took 100% advance payment from us as they told us it is the policy of the property but nowhere written policy was there. On the 2nd day, we were not happy with their hospitality and asked for a refund for the rest of the days, they said go and discuss with booking.com, we tried but there is no contact number of customer care. I advise, avoid going there to avoid spoiling your mood.

I think it's good for summer not in winter too much cold.... There was no sunlight in the room and I think needs little improvement for winter nights in the room

Don't waste your time in Mussoorie, This property itself resides complete mussorie in it! It has a scenic 360 degree view of mountains. Personal hiking till stream flowing down this resort, multiple adventurous activities, delicious food, affordable rate! The rooms are fantastic with different and unique interiors. Worth every penny! This was my second visit! Dis time with friends. Family, couple, friends- this place is for all. Rahul Bhai Sandeep Bhai is a helpful person.

There's no sign board on how to reach the reception area from the main gate. It's not easy to reach inside this property from the main gate.

Food could be better and just some insects flies due to greenery outside trouble a bit. But rest everything is good.
