The size of the facilities (shower, bathroom and kitchen). For the size of the camp-site they need to be much bigger. And the kitchen is locked until 7am so if you plan on eating before hiking early its impossible. You cant even grab stuff from the fridge. The kitchen gets very busy and everyone is fighting over 4 cooktops. Sometimes I had to wait 20-30mins for the shower and theres only 2 toilets

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Location is good. Kitchen facility is also good. 12 minutes walk to Lauterbrunnen station and 4 minutes walk to bus stop (bus come every 30 minutes). Staff were good and helpful.
Rooms are small, but youth were enjoying in camp like room. Staff at reception were extremely helpful. They kept luggage also. But reception remains closed from 12 to 2.30 pm. We need our luggage at 12.15, but no ground staff came even after 30 minutes inspire of calling them. Then a lady staff of near restaurant taken me with her and told to take away luggage from backdoor. Thankful to lady staff of restaurant .

Yo diría, lo único que no me gustó, fue que nos tocó una habitación en donde el techo tenía forma de A y no podía estar todo el día de pie porque chocábamos con el techo

Además hay un minimercado muy completo al lado y el bar, con su bar tender muy simpático. La ducha del baño es espectacular. Todo resultó mejor de lo que imaginamos.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Gorgeous location with wonderful views. Well laid out, clean with a wonderful atmosphere. Secluded, quiet and peaceful and yet very close to transport and amenities. There is a lovely bridge over a fast running river and a bus stop for transfers to local attractions just on the other other side of the bridge.
It needs a toilet block in the centre of the site for those who need to get up in the night !

Plus, the location is simply wonderful—you can go out for a morning jog and enjoy the meadows, the cow, and the waterfall, which offers a stunning view. The spacious kitchen is perfect for cooking, and there’s also a laundry room, which is very convenient, as well as a sink and, of course, a shower and toilet. Everything is just wonderful. Thank you so much—we really enjoyed our stay here, and we hope to visit this campground again soon.
On the other hand, the pillows were quite uncomfortable and completely flat. Also, as for the kitchen—since we only had one kitchen and had to share it with the other residents—unfortunately, something unpleasant happened to us: someone stole food from the comunal refrigerator, even though it was labeled. Of course, this has nothing to do with the campground itself, but rather with the people who acted so dishonestly.

Friendly—from the first interaction they were friendly and kind. Vibe—communal vibe with everyone there, young and old, from all over. Just the best.

Add in everything - amazing restaurant, bar area, store, concierge, playground, common areas, beds and linens were excellent…showers/bathrooms clean and always available. My only regret is that my entire family couldn’t experience it with me. It was a true home away from home and I would love to come back. You just can’t beat the experience. Almost like adult summer camp. Everything you need, and everything and more within walking distance. We also took a quick bus to an amazing cave waterfall, and several other easy trains to other towns for day trip excursions. Absolutely ideal. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Our entire group was smitten with both the region and the lodging.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Maybe if the cabins had a connected toilet just for middle of the night bathroom needs. But it feels silly even saying that since the walk to the bathroom was so close.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Με θέα τους καταρράκτες. Το κάμπινγκ μεγάλο, καθαρό, τακτοποιημένο και οι άνθρωποί του πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Υπάρχει παιδική χαρά. Το ξύλινο σπιτάκι που μείναμε ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένο.
Βρίσκεται στο τέλος του χωριού, το οποίο είναι πολύ τουριστικό, με δρόμους που σχεδον κλείνουν από τον πολύ κόσμο και είναι ένας άθλος να φτάσεις μέχρι εκεί.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026La ubicacion del camping es excelente, en un valle precioso en Lauterbrunnen. La habitacion del albergue correcta, con dos literas dobles, duchas y baños compartidos en el mismo piso. Se hacia algunas colas puesto que eran 6 habitaciones de 4 personas pero nada grave. El personal super atento y amable en todo momento. La cocina-comedor bien, con 4 mesas y 4 fogones se saturaba bastante en horas punta pero tenia un buen surtido de platos y utensilios de cocina. Nevera y congelador tambien disponibles cosa muy util. El camping tiene tambien sala de estar con sofas y mesas, un pequeño colmado, dbar, restaurante y zona de lavanderia con lavadoras y secadoras (que funcionan via app). El precio de lo mejor de la zona calidad-precio considerando que es Suiza. Muy recomendable.
Algunos utensilios de la cocina necesitan renovacion

Another toilet and shower would have been helpful as there was often a queue. The staff could have told us in advance that on the final morning that a massive amount of people arrived to do a half marathon because it was then so busy including a huge queue for the toilets.

Im Zentrum (bei der Rezeption und den Gemeinschaftsräumen) gibt es pro Geschlecht nur 3 Toiletten und 3 Duschen. Das ist viel zu wenig. Man muss eigentlich immer warten. Und für diesen hohen Andrang wird auch zu wenig geputzt. Allerdings war der Platz auch ausgebucht.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Het personeel staat constant klaar om je te helpen. De kamer was comfortabel. Het was er aangenaam om te koken. De kinderen konden zich goed ontspannen. De kamping ligt centraal voor de bezienwaardigheden.
De orde van de koelkasten. Misschien met kistjes per kamer werken. Ik vond wel een manier. Een kleine zak met onze inkopen erin plaatsen om ze gemakkelijk te vinden.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Es handelt sich um einen Campingplatz direkt unter dem bekanntesten Wasserfall. Wir wohnten in dem Hostel, das sehr einfache Zimmer bietet. Die Lage ist toll, die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber. Vom Bahnhof sind es zwölf Minuten zu Fuß. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt.
Der Platz ist sehr international, was dazu führt, dass in der Gemeinschaftsküche ausgiebig gekocht wird und es eng wird. Die Toiletten sind nicht besonders schön. Die Hostelbewohner haben auf den Etagen eigene Toiletten. Dort sammelte sich regelmäßig Wasser auf dem Boden, was entweder von den Fenstern kam oder weil Leute sich zu intensiv gewaschen hatten. Es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit, irgendwo zu frühstücken. Man muss sich komplett selbst versorgen morgens. Für abends gibt es ein Restaurant. Die Hostelräume sind recht teuer in der Hochsaison, was an der Lage liegt. Generell ist Lauterbrunnen sehr gefragt bei Touristen.
