Cozy atmosphere. Clean cabanas. And the two dogs and the cat were great company.

Could use a little bit more privacy in the bathroom. Didn’t get an invoice for the stay. Don’t know about their food since we skipped breakfast. It is better if they can improve their kitchen facilities.

This place only have good vibes . and crew is very friendly and supportive . If you wanna arrange a party they will help you immediately as a really good friends . And this place is very clean . Finally im totally recommending this place. If you came to Down South in Sri Lanka you must have go to this place ❤️

We left a booking earlier, but when we got there, they said that they couldn't give us a room because the villa was full, so I was very discomfort.

Staff is good , staying that place is enjoyable.

Amazing stay! The owner and family are very friendly and hospitable. The beach is only a 1-minute walk away, and the vibe of the place is wonderful. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it!

Petite cabane dans un lieu plein de charme. Les sanitaires étaient propres. Le personnel est très sympa et aux petits soins. La nourriture sur place est excellente. À deux pas de la plage. Super séjour et rapport qualité-prix incroyable !

Super cool guys, can't praise them enough. Colourful and artistic facilities, excellent common area, but I liked the bathroom the most as it partially has no roof so the air is fresh and showering under the sky and trees is the best

Endroit sympa et chill la journée, entouré de nature et à quelques pas de la plage la plus proche

J'ai passé 3 nuits dans cet établissement dans l'une des deux chambres se trouvant au-dessus du bar De manière générale, ces chambres sont en hauteur et entre rue passante et voie de chemin de fer....donc autant dire que ce n'est jamais silencieux. Mais surtout les deux dernières ont été catastrophiques, la deuxième quelqu'un est venue frapper à la porte d'à côté a 2h puis a 6h du mat (c'était des personnes du staff à mon avis car le lendemain cette chambre était un squatte pour le personnel....musique à fond le matin, fumage de joints dans la chambre l'après-midi), la troisième il y a même eu le ménage de fait a 2h30 du matin avec bien-sûr la lumière extérieure qui a été allumée et des aller-retour incessant sachant que chaque pas fait trembler tout l'étage ça reste de la construction basique....aucun respect pour la clientèle dans ce cas de figure... quand on choisit ce lieu pour justement pour s'excentrer un peu du centre ville, être au calme et se reposer....c'est loupé, autant choisir un autre endroit...dommage car c'est mignon et on sent l'effort qui a été mit dans cet établissement pour qu'il soit accueillant et chaleureux Wifi médiocre

Le prix, qui a guidé notre choix. Le restaurant d'en face. Nous n'en avons pas profité, mais la plage à proximité est un plus.

Couchage sommaire, salle de bain un peu éloignées de la chambre, qui est a l'étage. Tout en sachant qu'à ce prix, tout cela semble tout de même correct.

Endroit cosy, personnel accueillant, possibilité de se restaurer sur place, petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Excellent rapport qualité prix !

I stayed at Lala's Place in the off season so had the dorm to myself most of the time. It is a lovely place and was excellent value. Lala is really nice. I particularly liked the tropical feel of the common area (except for the mosquitos) and the cute kitten (June 2025). Shared bathrooms are kept clean. Mosquito nets provided Towel provided. I had a power outlet & lamp by my bedand a little wooden locker for valuables. Take bus 388 into town. Spend a day wandering around Galle Fort

Nothing not to like about Lala's Place. Sand gets everywhere because is close to the beach. Mosquitos because Monsoon season. Not much going on locally during off season but you can tell the area comes alive in the high season.

Everything was pretty good. The location is not good enough cause you can't find anything there. And cutting a score for the rotwiller or don't know what was the breed of the dog. It came to chase me without any reason. Otherwise everyone was friendly and good. The shower was superb

The host lala was very friendly and welcoming. It is one of the best place's in galle for solo travellers . You'll get food and drinks 24/7 and it feels like home..

People in the room next to me being intimate made my room shake quite a lot. Walls are thin. But not really Lala’s Fault

It is not a safe place. I was filmed by one of the staff while I took a shower. I saw which phone it was, so the person was found and the police were called. This was a horrible experience. I don't want to ruin anyone's business, and even though the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful (called the police etc.), I did not feel safe there. There is a drawing on the side of the shower where someone is peeking into the shower while someone else takes a shower (See attached picture). This kind of "humor" is weird, but especially with what happened it seems like the owners are absolutely not aware of the kind of message this drawing sends. I know (unfortunately I saw proof) that I am not the first person that happened to.

Right next to a busy road Staff not very friendly Often loud music playing that could get annoying. Doesn't really live up to it's image presented in the photos and on it signs.
