It had direct access to the beach

I had to clean a clogged drain in the bath cubicle. Didn't seem very clean overall. Had a weird lingering smell.

Perfect location for people who want to be at seaside. Plenty of restaurants in the sea front open until late night.

The location was siperb. The staff were excellent

The Air condition the rooms on the first floor can be more powerfull.

The location was nice. Besides to the beach. We enjoyed the very well. Thanks for the staff who have tried their best to serve us well. 👍

The staff was really nice and they were Always watching who entered the area. Food was los really nice and they beach was Not crowded.

Posizione perfetta sulla spiaggia, camera non grandissima ma con tutto il necessario all'interno. Gli host sono sempre cordiali e pronti ad aiutarti. In caso di necessità organizzano anche un trasporto aeroportuale. Abbiamo alloggiato per 6 giorni, ci siamo trovate molto bene sia per la posizione se vi interessa il mare e la spiaggia, che per i servizi vicini e per la fermata dell'autobus che si trova proprio davanti alla struttura. Abbiamo visto dei tramonti meravigliosi. La camera è dotata di frigorifero per tenere i possibili alimenti, aria condiziona, doccia super tecnologica in cui ci siamo divertite a capirne il funzionamento! 😁 La cucina è comune, dove potete in caso vogliate prepararvi qualcosa da voi, se no ci sono molti bar e ristoranti proprio sulla spiaggia. Per comprare eventuali alimenti a Gintota si trova un supermercato ben fornito. Have fun !!

L'unica cosa che abbiamo trovato leggermente sgradevole è la cucina per le condizioni igieniche ma qualcosa si riesce a fare. Noi ci siamo preparate delle super insalate.

Location superb, staff were great. It’s what we expected. Value for money is great.

I suggest they get a card machine for the property and their restaurant. We barely used the restaurant as it only took cash and ATM is not close.

Excellent beach action and eateries close to the property. Hot water and access to a communal kitchen facility. On the tuk tuk and bus route and live music also available nearby

Poor internet signal and road noise starts early.

The balcony view was amazing. Crashing sounds of the waves was therapeutic. Pavan was so helpful, despite the heavy rainfall he managed to get us milk tea. Location was great. Lala s place Restaurant is very close to the property which is a gem for good food. Must visit.

The rooms lighting should be increased. Thicker white towels should be given. Wouldve preferred if the bathroom's tiling and fittings were abit better. The property's location is great, so they should invest in redecoration and that would be a game changer.

Lovely accommodation right at the beach with sunbeds provided. Several of restaurants along the beach to choose from.

The location of this lodge is simply breathtaking. You have the sea directly at your doorstep. The lodge has a very nice and relaxing atmosphere about it. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a number of smaller and larger restaurants and bars adjacent to the lodge on the beach, so you have plenty of choice for yours meals and drinks. Parking is available on site and the Galle fort is at a 10 minutes drive down the main road. A couple of nights at this place will fully recharge your batteries.

The rooms come equipped with very luxurious, technically advanced shower systems that are somewhat impossible to operate :-) But you will not care, because you will likely take your shower in the garden under the afternoon sun anyway.

It's a beach house and not a hotel .. you pay for what you get ... it's not 5 star but it's excellant value for money 7km outside of Galle ... but on main road with lots of very cheap buses to Galle and Hikkuduwa ... lots of restaurants on the beach outside ... would definitely stay there again

Amazing location, right on the beach. I loved sitting on the patio in front of my room to relax and cool down. The beach is very quiet, yet there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. A perfect place to unwind! The room itself is spacious and very clean!

The mattress was quite thin, which could be more comfortable. More shaded areas on the beach would have been great and would likely attract more business for local vendors.

The room we booked was a "deluxe room with sea view and balcony", however, a big tree covered most of the sea views (the staff said they will cut it soon, so maybe it will be ok later). There were a lot of problems with the hot water in the shower, sometimes it works fine but sometimes there wasn't hot water. The shower floor was broken and the water was leaking all over the shower room, the staff just said: "yes we need to fix it"😔.

Great deal for the price! Located right on the beach with the access to many cafes and restaurants. Room was really big and comfortable. If treated with a little more care it would be simply amazing! The host was very nice and friendly. We would gladly extend our stay if we could. Thank you very much for only good impressions 🙏🏻

Our host - Pawan was affectionate and made sure our stay becomes a wonderful one. For illustration, there were no slip-ups from Pawan's end. In fact, when we got late one evening from dinner, he waited for us and was concerned too. The breathtaking beach view and the stormy sea were the icing on the cake. Our rooms were chic, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and Pawan always was around the corner and offered prompt help when needed. The beach was the highlight of our trip.

There is absolutely NOTHING, we disliked about this property. Impeccable hospitality, seamless check in process and the stunning views. We are in complete awe of this property and wish to revisit ASAP. This is unimpeachable.

Good location and nice staff

The rooms are a bit compact, but the hotel’s excellent location and friendly staff more than make up for it. The restaurant, situated right next to the property, adds to the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the area.

The accommodation is right on the ocean, they also provide some sunbeds.

The staff were virtually nowhere to be found, if you had a problem you had to find them for hours to talk to them. You can't bathe or swim in the ocean well, there are dangerous currents. Rooms facing the main street are very noisy.

Nice apartment, just off a quiet beautiful beach. Very good and fast service. Excellent value for money

Our stay at Il Nido Beach Home was amazing! The beachfront location is unbeatable—just steps away from the serene and clean beach. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide a relaxing experience. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway by the sea. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galle!

Location of the room is good.

Old ACs in the property - not working for place like Galle. Washroom is old, showers did not work on the other room provided to us.

It's a good location and very friendly staff and I really like this place.

The caretaker Pavan was very nice, helpful and also resourceful. The location of the property is exceptional.

Warm welcome by Pavan . Location right on the beach..can hear the sea. Beach bars and eating places close by..also shops for basics. Property very clean inside and out. Comfortable beds and good shower.

Electric Kettle would be useful in kitchen for hot drinks ..also drinking water would be good to fill bottles rather than keep buying plastic

Location - amazing. 10 Steps out of my ground floor room and I was on the sand of the beach. Absolutely beautiful Easy check in process

Air conditioning was super noisy. Slept with ear plugs Bathroom had a strong smell of urine. There was nothing to put my backpack on so it sat at the end of the bed.

Beautiful location, in front of the beach. That alone was worth it! Then, if you add confortable bed, clean and cozy room, and super helpful staff, for sure you would love Il Nido. We recommend Miracle Beach Restaurant to enjoy your meal looking to the seaside, that is close by. It is a couple of km from Galle fort, easy reachable with a tuk tuk. We suggest it!!!

Pretty beach views from balcony, big room, 4 poster bed with mozzie net. Usable, shared kitchen and fridge, small fridge in room.

The property needs some maintenance, leaking shower, wobbly toilet cistern. Did not like seeing 3 large fish kept in a dark indoor concrete pond!

The location on the beach is fantastic. The staff is very nice. We had a room with a balcony facing the sea. It was amazing. Almost no people on the beach. Small and nice restaurants .

Boossa as a village is not that beautiful, but it is close to Galle and the busses goes all the time.

Plenty of hanging and storage space, lashing of ver. hot water Right next to the beach and the Il Nido restaurant is great, excellent food. You can go to sleep listening to the sea. Lots of beds on beach too and plenty of shelter

Location: Il Nido is right on the beach. You can't get a better location than this. There are restaurants and bars nearby, so you won't go hungry. The owner has their own restaurant two doors way. Staff: Pavan went out of his way to help me when I had a middle of the night call. My cell service wasn't the best from my room. He worked with me to test the wifi and find a location in the building to take the call. He even brought atable and chair to to roof for me. Electricity: It stormed a lot while I was here. The electricity didn't go out once. Air-conditioning: Having Air-conditioning was nice during the hot days. It worked great. Wifi: If you are working remotely, like me, get a sim card. Wifi works for checking emails/ WhatsApp, but not doing Zoom calls. Hot water: Works best when there is sun.

The location directly at the beach is really nice. Having nice restaurants at the beach nearby and some yoga was cool.

Some things could need some maintenance. that would make it nicer. but all in all it’s fine for that price. No complaint, just a tip for improvement.

Fabulous location overlooking the beach, great manager who is available to answer queries and help with taxis etc. Restaurant is very good. Bed large, very clean and comfortable. Room very clean, plenty of storage and hanging space..

Very nice hotel in perfect location on the beach with a few restaurants next door. Parking available for 1 maybe 2 cars only

What really makes this place is the manager Parvin. Nothing was too much trouble. He was always there to organise taxis, clean the rooms, make a remarkable evening happen for both Christmas and New Year's Eve. It ended up being a home from home for us all.

It would have been great to have our rooms cleaned everyday. Other than that, it is an excellent place to stay.

The garden was nice and a lot of space in the room. Also very clean bed and bathroom with good working shower with really hot water

A bit too far from nice beaches and the centrum of Galle also a lot of mosquitos from the lake..

Well maintained property right in front of the beach. The staff is very kind; host Pawan was very helpful and informative to guide me to places too see and restaurants by the beach.

It was close to the beach. The breakfast at Miracle cafe was good it had a good vibe.

The bathroom could be cleaner. And the hot water should be checked as well.

Great location right on the beach near some restaurants/bara bar. Very nice host, he let us store our bags there after checkout the day we left as we weren't flying out until later. The balcony was the perfect place to chill and watch the waves.

No hot water in the shower, but considering how warm the weather was it wasn't really an issue.

The hotel was on the beach, perfect location for that!
