Maravillosas cabañas en la playa!! El sitio es un auténtico sueño! Rodeado de palmeras y vegetación, una playa espectacular, y un a restaurante en la misma playa con un menú delicioso. Después de 12 días comiendo Roti, nos encantó descubrir su menú con gran variedad de pescados y otros platos. Recomendamos mucho los Fried Calamari, la ensalada caprese y sobre todo el banana fritter!! Todo buenísimo Por último, el personal súper atento y amable, pendientes en todo momento y facilitándonos un montón el viaje. Nos ayudaron con las excursiones y pudimos ver las tortugas poniendo sus huevos en la arena y otras bebitas en su camino al mar, una pasada. Sin duda uno de los mejores sitios de nuestro viaje! El dueño súper amable y atento, un auténtico paraíso. Ojalá podamos volver algún día

De locatie van de accomodatie is fenomenaal, super mooi uitzicht en een heerlijk strand! Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Ruige zee (in “off-season” voor Sri Lanka) waardoor zwemmen sterk werd afgeraden. Beperkt aantal stopcontacten

Ruime kamer met terras, aan het strand. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Koffie/thee op de kamer zou fijn zijn. Weg er naar toe erg hobbelig.

Wat een zicht! Heel fijn en vriendelijk personeel! Heel rustig!

24h vraiment chouette où nous avons pu profiter pleinement de cette grande plage et de ce lieu paradisiaque. On a pu avoir accès à la pisicine dans l’hôtel qui se trouve à 800m de la cabane. Je recommande.

The chalet was right on the beach, the food was ok we were the ones there. We ordered food which was not overly hot & then the 2 people that were working there just disappeared so we decided to take a walk in the dark along the beach until we reached Mangrove chalets were we had a drink & a chat. Would much have preferred to have stayed here instead.

The fact that the people disappeared after we had eaten leaving us on our own.

Direkt am Strand, der nicht so überfüllt ist wie weiter südwestlich. Sehr gute Holzcabanas. Übliches Frühstück. Der Strand ist dort überall mit recht hohen Wellen schwierig fürs Schwimmen. Deshalb aber auch ruhiger und schön weit. Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und alle waren sehr nett, tolle Lage direkt am Strand und das Frühstück war super, wir kommen wieder 👍🏻

Beautiful location a perfect hidden getaway.

Wir hatten das vorderste Häuschen direkt am wunderschönen Strand. Man kann entspannen im Aussenbereich vor dem Cabana, in der Hängematte oder auf den Strandliegen. Wir hatten nur einen Van, hätten aber auch in ein anderes Cabana mit AC wechseln können. Es hat ein Moskitonetz und war sauber. Das Frühstück ist super und das Personal nett & hilfsbereit. Man erreicht in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss das Wildlife Turtle Project und wie ich gesehen habe, kann man auf der nahegelegenen Lagune Kanus mieten.

Das Cabana ist ziemlich klein. Man kann nicht ums Bett herum gehen und wir hatten fast kein Platz für die beiden grossen Koffer. Leider ist die Strömung so stark, dass man grad vor der Unterkunft nicht schwimmen kann. Dazu muss man ca. 10min zu Fuss zur nächsten Strandbar gehen, da ist ein Stück durch Steine abgesichert.

Lokalizacja na plaży. Bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Dobre śniadanie. Kabany może urządzone skromnie, ale według mnie nie ma nic lepszego niż budzenie się na plaży pod palmą. Polecam wziąć z klimatyzacją. Nie było żadnego problemu z dzikimi lokatorami :) dwa czarne kotki na terenie obiektu uatrakcyjniają pobyt

Sehr schöne Lage an einem fantastischen Strand, kaum Menschen,

Anlage in die Jahre gekommen. Preis Leistung passt nicht. Keine Klima, Bungalows total dunkel, löchriges Moskito Netz, Ameisen und Moskitos im Bett. Etwas zurück gesetzt gibt es bessere Unterkünfte zum halben Preis. Hier hilft kein Renovieren hier muss Stück für Stück neu gebaut werden.

Clean bungalow on the beach. Amazing location under palm trees.

For the price, the quality of the breakfast is quite low. Few fruits, no juice, no crepes, no roti but fresh bread.

The location is just magical. Straight on the beach. Listening to the waves while falling asleep. Beautiful sunrises. Attentive friendly staff.

Peaceful location right on the beach. Quiet beach but quite rough seas. Perfect for a chilled retreat. Food was good :) Room was clean and we liked they had a foot wash at the bottom of the stairs up to the room.

La cabana sulla spiaggia non è come sembra in foto. Se prenotate quella senza aria condizionata sarà un vero disastro, le finestre non si chiudono, ci sono reti con maglie da 1 cm che ostruiscono l’ingresso giusto ai mammiferi. Purtroppo si riempirà subito di insetti, dalle zanzare alle blatte. Pur essendo amanti della natura ed abituati ad animali ed insetti non mettere una zanzariera da 5 euro di fianco ad una laguna rende la permanenza davvero snervante. Ma abbiamo comunque dato una possibilità alla struttura, siamo andati a cena al ristorante dell’hotel, cena accettabile ma non un gran che, con cani che ringhiavano accanto al tavolo per contendersi gli avanzi e nessuno faceva niente. Ma al rientro in cabana abbiamo trovato una vera e propria infestazione di piccoli insetti bianchi all’interno del bagno, non metto la foto giusto per decoro. Questo è stato troppo e siamo andati dal ragazzo che ci aveva accompagnati in camera, dopo una discussione ha capito anche lui che la situazione fosse grave e ci ha proposto un cambio stanza. Ne abbiamo dovute guardare 3 perché tutte piene di insetti, alla fine essendo tardi ci siamo accontentati di far ripulire una cabana di quelle con aria condizionata, che sono più nuove e si chiudono le finestre. Abbiamo passato la notte qui, ma non è assolutamente un alloggio da 95 dollari a notte, né vale un terzo non fatevi fregare dal fatto che si dorme sulla spiaggia, ci sono bungalow a Pinarella di Cervia a 20 euro a notte con una location migliore. La spiaggia è ampia e bella, ma il mare non è balneabile. La struttura è tutta tenuta piuttosto male, a parte un anziano che setaccia la sabbia tutto il giorno. L’acqua della doccia è fredda. La colazione è a buffet, accettabile ma nulla di che, ed hanno aperto in ritardo. Per fortuna ci siamo accordati con il manager il giorno seguente che non ci ha fatto pagare la secondo notte e siamo andati via.

Great location we enjoyed the tranquility and peaceful surroundings, great and helpful staff. Our kids had the best time of their lives playing in the sand.

None, they paid attention to detail incase we pointed out anything the staff were there to help.

I personally loved the mesh window design. It gives you that incredible "sleeping outdoors" feeling while still providing a barrier. Yes, you’re near nature (which is the whole point of being right on the beach!), but I found it incredibly peaceful. It’s a retreat, not just a room.

Amazing beach. The best we found in tangalle! The restaurant was also really nice for lunch and dinner. Was a stunning beach front experience!

Es ist an einem sehr schönem Strand, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alle sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist wie in einem kleinem Paradies. Sehr schön!

Nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche, keine Fliegengitter, entsprechend gelangen Mücken, Kakerlaken, Ameisen etc. in den Bungalow

Це не готель, а маленький рай на березі Індійського океану. Ми обрали бунгало, яке буквально виходить на пляж і фактично могли лежати на лежанці перед нашим будиночком — одночасно перебуваючи на пляжі. Пляж майже безлюдний, особливо ввечері — він ніби був у нашому приватному користуванні. Персонал гостинний, все прекрасно! Басейн знаходться не безпосередньо в комплексі, а у сусідньому-партнерському, у 800 метрах по пляжу. Там теж гарно, але нам було так затишно на нашому пляжі з океаном, що ми до басейну за 3 дні сходли лише один раз.

Єдине, що мого би бути краще — ще кухня, бо наразі відчутно, що на кухні немає жінки) Але сама атмосфера і види такі, що це компенсується. Тим паче поруч достатньо інших ресторанів, де можна поїсти смачніше. А, ну і номер дуже маленький - там фатично одне ліжко поміщається, але знову ж таки - ми там спали лише вночі, а так цілий день на вулиці і це було прекрасно!

Very cute bungalow close to an endless beach. There are natural pools in the ocean about 400 meters from the cabanas where there are almost no waves and it’s super chill to swim.

Wonderful location on the beach and excellent breakfast! Staff was helpful and offered a discount when our air-conditioning stopped working.

Really amazing location on the beach if you are looking for secluded and quiet. Bungalows are good and we had one without AC which was still cool enough with the fan. Nice and quiet and the beach is beautiful. It was really peaceful and it’s amazing to wake up right on the beach.

This was our most expensive in our month trip of Sri Lanka and we were excited, but sadly a few things lacked that even the cheapest best homestay got perfect every time. The staff often forgot orders and we had to remind them 4 or 5 times when ordering a cup of tea or water or a beer while we waited upto 30/45 mins. The beach setting is beautiful, but when waking up first thing in the morning there is still beer cans, wine glasses etc on the sand from the night before and no staff to help. Breakfast is also not until 08:30 which seems like a small detail but if you’re a morning person and wake up expecting food you need to wait or get a Tuk Tuk into Tangalle, but you need to do this as there is no staff around early morning. The bungalow would be great with a fridge also, with a kettle and tea and coffee.

Das Personal war sehr unflexibel im Restaurant. Es war nicht möglich, beim Abendessen zum Fisch außer Pommes noch eine Gemüsebeilage zu bekommen. Erst als wir den Manager fragten, war es kein Problem (für einen Aufpreis natürlich, was ja in Ordnung war).

Die Lage war super ruhig ein schöner Ort um zu realaxen. Das Personal war immer sehr nett. Das Essen war nicht überteuert so wie in den meisten anderen Strandhotels und es schmeckte hervorragend.

Schade war, das es erst um 8.30 Kaffee gab (wen man süchtig nach Koffein ist) Im Badezimmer könnte es eine Ablagfläche ertragen. Aber ansonsten war alles top 👍

La posizione è ottima e lo staff molto accogliente

Il ristorante non è in linea con standard di qualità. Però c'è il resort adiacente molto buono. Per arrivare alla piscina dell hotel convenzionato è una passeggiata impegnativa. Per il prezzo pagato, potrebbero investire qualcosa nella manutenzione delle camere e per la biancheria. Nelle due cabanas che abbiamo preso non c era nemmeno uno scaffale: abbiamo messo i vestiti sul tavolo. Pulizie ogni 3 giorni !!!

Located right on the beach, 10-15 mins walk to the restaurants and quiet vibe.

Felt expensive for what it was, it was right on the beach but felt like everything else was sacrificed for that. Not enough beds for the guests as people can just come and buy a drink and use the beds all the day yet that's what we are paying for. It wasn't as clean as we wouldn't have expected.

Sehr schöner Strand, jedoch waren die Wellen extrem hoch. Man kann auch das Schwimmbad vom Hotel Marakoliya Beach Resort gratis nutzen. Das ist jedoch ein Stück zu laufen oder Tuktuk für 900 LKR

Der Weg bis dahin ist sehr schlecht. Das Zimmer war sehr einfach eingerichtet jedoch alles da. Betten waren ok bequem jedoch konnten wir nicht gut schlafen :/

Hello, we are a family with two children, ages 1 and 2. We were satisfied before seeing our room. We are very disappointed with this hotel, and particularly annoyed by the manager who gave us his number in case of problems, but who never responded to our messages or calls. We found several lizard droppings in our beds (including in the baby's crib). It was impossible for us to change rooms, but the staff were still very attentive in changing our sheets. During the night, it rained in our room due to a leak from the roof, and one of our two beds was flooded. We therefore slept in the second bed with our 2-year-old son. It was impossible to contact the manager. The staff only offered us breakfast, but couldn't do anything more in the manager's absence, which is unacceptable. However, I would like to point out that we ate well and the staff were generally very attentive, with the exception of the manager, from whom we never heard.

Wish we had stuck with the room with air con as it did feel a little stuffy. Frustrating that twice I asked if I could pay by card, to then be told the card machine was broken and it needed to be cash.

leider entspricht der service keinen 3 sternen. gereinigt wird im zimmer nicht während des aufenthalts und es war auch relativ dreckig.

Property was located far away from town on a tough road to travel in on. We were given the upstairs cabanas for a family which was very difficult to go up and down steps. Found cockroaches in the bedroom. Not worth the cost.

Sehr schöner Ort

Tolle Lage direkt am Meer , sehr ruhig , schöne Cabanas mit Moskitonetz und Fan , alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Restaurant war sehr gut und man konnte direkt am Strand sitzen . Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Scooter leihen ging auch problemlos. Der Strand ist wunderschön und menschenleer. Die Wellen und die Strömung sind ziemlich heftig und schwimmen ist eher mit Vorsicht zu genießen , aber tolle Strandspaziergänge und Benutzung des Pools vom Partner Hotel möglich

Perfekte Lage, freundliches Personal

Unschlagbare Lage, sowas hatten wir bisher auf Sri Lanka nicht gehabt. Der Strand war einfach wie im Paradies. Baden ging auch 150m rechts von der Unterkunft sehr einfach, dort war ein natürlicher Pool durch Felsen abgegrenzt. Wer sich die Mühe macht kann in ziemlich genau 15 Minuten zum Partnerhotel laufen und den Pool mit Poolbar dort nutzen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber - wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit Meerblick. Die Anlage wurde jeden Tag von Laub und ähnlichem befreit und hatte insgesamt ein gutes Ambiente. Frühstück war gut und sehr viel. Man war beinahe bis Abends satt - Sri Lanka Breakfast, hatten wir bisher noch nirgendwo. Unbedingt an Mückenspray denken Durch das Gesamtpaket der Location und dem guten Vibe dort, war das bisher die schönste Unterkunft in den bisherigen zwei Wochen Aufenthalt auf der Insel.

Die Preise im Restaurant sind etwas happig, wenngleich alternativlos durch die abgelegene Lage. In unser Zimmer hat es beim klassischen Tropen-Regen reingeregnet. Wenn man aus Versehen das Licht auf unserer Terrasse angeschaltet hat, ist der Strom ausgefallen und man musste erst einen Mitarbeiter suchen, der die Sicherung wieder umlegen kann.

Obiekt rewelacyjnie położony, tuż przy szerokiej spokojnej i jednej z lepszych w okolicy plaży. Teren obiektu jest niezwykle zadbany, a spędzanie tu czasu jest przyjemnością. Obsługa kompetentna, uprzejma i zaangażowana, mocno starająca się uczynić pobyt bardzo udanym. Miłym zaskoczeniem była możliwość korzystania z basenu w zaprzyjaźnionym obiekcie.

Lekki minus za Domek, ma bardzo małe okienka przez co w środku za dnia jest dość ciemno ale poza takim mały niuansem wszystko na plus

W pokojach brakuje lodówki i nie ma szyb w oknach przez co niestety wpada dużo robaków

L’emplacement est extraordinaire. La plage est magnifique. Elle est sauvage. Le sable est fin, on peut se régaler dans les vagues en restant au bord. Les enfants se sont éclatés. Le Personnel est très agréable, on a même fait une partie de volley avec certains. Le volley de sport national au Sri Lanka. Vraiment plaisir.

Die Lage der Cabanas war ein absoluter Traum, die ganze Anlage war wunderschön und der Sand voller Muscheln. Man hört das Meer vom Bett aus rauschen. Wir wurden direkt am ersten Abend gefragt ob wir mit zum Schildkröten sichten gehen möchten.. das Personal ging mit uns den Strand ab und wir konnten eine Schildkröte beim Eier ablegen beobachten, das war eine tolle Erfahrung und war komplett kostenfrei! Die Dusche hat uns sehr gut gefallen und dass man sich auch vor der cabana schon mit einem Schlauch vom Sand befreien konnte 😊 Im Meer durfte man nicht baden aber den Nachbar Pool verwenden, das war ein gutes Angebot

Unsere Cabana war innen sehr dunkel und es gab sehr wenig Ablage Fläche (keine Nachttische, nur ein offenes Regal). Für Backpacker etwas unpraktisch Das Personal beim Frühstück fanden wir teilweise etwas inkompetent
