Beautiful location. Staff were very accommodating. I believe we had an upgraded room which was much appreciated as we spent our time here during our honeymoon! The views and room were perfect.

Je recommande d'opter pour ce type de logement si vous le pouvez.

On peut toujours améliorer, certes. Par moments, on peut remarquer que certains membres du staff sont épuisés. La structure de l'hôtel est très étendue, et par nature, on ne cesse de monter et descendre. Mitica indispensable pour jouir du meilleur potentiel de ce très grand établissement.

I liked the accommodation and the comfortable sun beds. The breakfast is ok.

The furniture in the room is old, there is rust at the shower door. The way to the sea is long and it has many stair step and ramps…At check-out, I was asked to leave an additional tip for minibar items, as well as for services at the beach bar and restaurant. I found this quite unusual, especially since I had already tipped the staff directly when receiving those services. I don’t think it is appropriate to ask guests to tip again at check-out for services they have already tipped for.

Ein riesiges Hotel, ziemlich unübersichtlich und ungemütlich. Zimmer alt, ungepflegt. Das Badezimmer wurde notdürftig zur ebenerdigen Dusche umgebaut. Gruselig, billige duscharmaturen, irgendwie, irgendwo schief und undicht auf der Hüfthöhe angebracht. Uralte Toilette, mit einem uralten spülkasten. Unbequemes, hartes Bett. Klimaanlage schlecht regulierbar. Reinigung mittelmäßig. Nach der Beschwerde war etwas besser . Danach bekamen wir die Email mit viel bla, bla. Wie toll das Hotel Management ist… Im Hotel wird nur an der Rezeption klimatisiert, öfter tagsüber gar nicht, bei 35 Grad Hitze unangenehm. Am aller schlimmsten das Frühstück! Ein riesiger hässlicher Raum, Möbel aus den 70er Jahren. Unklimatisiert, durch große Fenster knallt die Sonne rein, unmöglich. Draußen kann man auch nicht sitzen, kein Sonnenschutz, ein paar Tische, welche sonnengeschützt sind, meistens besetzt. Frühstück ungenießbar, billige unqualitative Produkte. Sogar die Wassermelone war sauer. Frühstück wird schon um 6 Uhr vorbereitet, alles steht mindestens 6 Stunden draußen! Kaffe wird nur auf Bestellung gebracht, dauert bis zu 3o Minuten! Personal umgeschult, können nicht einmal Kaffee servieren und unfreundlich auch! Poolwasser ist zu warm, außenbereich schrecklich eng. Die Bucht ist na ja, auch nicht wirklich angenehm zum liegen. Am Hotel wird gespart! Essen, Ausstattung, Personal. Nur nach Außen hin ist es toll! Auf keinem Fall 5 Sterne!

Scenic location and sea is top notch. Facilities are high quality. Staff is friendly and always helpful. We also enjoyed that there were many fun activities organised in the hotel like wine tasting and DJ parties

Food was okay but nothing special. Everything is overpriced. When I pay 15 euros for a glass of wine I don't want to find out a bottle costs 3 euros in a supermarket. Dinner for two in a buffet will cost you over 100 euros. A la carte restaurants open late and there is not much choice between them. You need to take a taxi or rent a car to go out anywhere. This especially makes you feel disappointed because there is no alternatives conveniently nearby. Also, I didn't like that drinking water was not easily available. In my opinion its a must for 5 star hotel in hot climates

L’incivilité des gens qui peuvent « réserver » leur transat en posant juste leur serviette et que l’on ne voient pas pendant 4 à 5 heures. Privant ainsi d’autres personnes d’une place sous un parasol.

This could be upsetting for hotel but i will only give the facts… Starting with the positives: the beach is genuinely great. There are plenty of sunbeds, the entire area is kept extremely clean, and the sun decks and umbrellas are of a very good standard. Our room was also very clean. The beach bar itself is a lovely setting. Amazing views and really calm place if that’s what you are looking for - which is the case for us. Unfortunately, the service was a very different story. The staff overall came across as unprofessional and, at times, quite rude. Both check-in and check-out were unnecessarily chaotic. There were plenty of people behind the counter, yet nobody seemed to know exactly what they were doing, making what should be simple processes frustrating and inefficient. They could not even print out my bill despite asking if few times on the day of our check out. One small incident summed up the service mentality for me. I had forgotten toothpaste and asked a member of staff if they could help. Rather than trying to assist, I was told very bluntly to go to a shop if I needed it. For a hotel positioning itself as five-star, this is simply not the level of hospitality I would expect. The rooms, while clean, are outdated and clearly need investment. The food and beverage offering was another disappointment. The beach bar menu is extremely limited, essentially offering wraps rather than a proper selection. It gives the impression that guests are being encouraged to use the more expensive Mirabello restaurant instead. Unfortunately, our experience there wasn’t better: the staff were rude, drinks took a long time to arrive, and the wait for food was even longer. When spoken to waiters, we were told to wait and became quite awkard to ask anything else after that points - which we never eaten there after day 1. Overall, we booked this hotel primarily for the beach, and on that front we were very happy. I’m also very glad we chose bed and breakfast rather than rely

My room was amazing with nice pool & sea view. Hotel purely met my expectations in terms of quiet time and spacious room. Nice gardens with island feeling, plus I did not mind the few steps to the beach. Strongly recommend sea view vs garden view. Liked the breakfast and gala dinner night.

I would eliminate the classic plastic cups from pool and beach. There are other, non glass, alternatives that are reusable. Even bottle beer was not allowed and you should transfer it to a plastic cup. Also option of snacks at pool would have been great, without needing to go to beach bar to eat a snack (which I did not, as I did not want to move from pool). I would expect a better hairdryer and iron to be available in the room.

My intention for this 4-day trip was simply to relax and enjoy the sea, but my stay at Aquila Atlantis turned into a completely unacceptable experience. Upon entering room 465, the first thing I encountered was a serious hygiene issue: the room was dirty and infested with ants (photographic evidence attached). Beyond the cleanliness, the room itself was dated and completely different from the pictures and floor plans advertised. For a self-proclaimed 5-star property, the gap between expectations and reality is staggering. On a side note, the hotel displays a "Luxury Award" plaque at the property, though it is entirely unclear which entity actually issued it or on what grounds. What makes the situation far worse was the absolute lack of hospitality and courtesy. I checked out immediately after arrival due to the unacceptable room conditions. Not a single manager reached out to inquire about what had happened, offer an apology, or address the issue. They simply vanished and flatly refused any refund request. I am also deeply disappointed by Booking.com’s customer care, which provided zero meaningful support in resolving a clear case of non-compliance and unsanitary conditions. If you are looking for a true 5-star standard, genuine hospitality, or basic respect for guests, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

מלון מושקע מאוד, ארוחת בוקר נהדרת, כולם מאוד נחמדים, פינקו אותנו בחדר עם שמפניה ועוד.. שידרגו אותנו לחדר עם בריכה פרטית, הבריכות המשותפות גם הן טובות, חוף הים הפרטי נהדר.

יש לקחת בחשבון שהמקום אינו מונגש לנכים.

L'accueil par le personnel du desk très chaleureux et chaque fois une personne qui parle français. La chambre ne nous convenais pas exactement mais la dame qui nous présente les diverses activités, restaurants, le fonctionnement général, nous a spontanément proposé diverses solutions et même un surclassement pour une magnifique et spacieuse chambre avec'une grande piscine privée. Le petit déjeuner offre une multitude de choix, le buffet du soir très varié et local vraiment très bien. Quelques bons vins... Le personnel de chambre et des restaurants très courtois et serviables un merci personnel à Ioannis pour son sourire, ses conseils et son efficacité. Un incroyable séjour. Vivement l'année prochaine.

L'accueil n'était pas assez soigné pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. Seul point négatif : le personnel de la réception. La moindre des choses le dernier jour aurait été de demander si le séjour s'était bien passé, au lieu d'un simple "Goodbye"... Il faudrait également améliorer le dessert.

This is a beautiful resort, with fabulous views across the sea, fabulous food and service. We love the selection of restaurants especially Mirabello with its stunning views and friendly staff as well as delicious food. The activities are good, entertainment team are very engaging and we enjoyed the exercise classes. We also loved Greek night. This is the second time we have visited as it is hard to beat!

Salle de bain indigne d'un 5 étoiles en 2026. Vieille baignoire étroite, pas de pression d'eau, carrelage vieillot. D'une autre époque.... L'eau en bouteille à 3,5 euros alors qu'elle ne coûte qu'un euro à la supérette en dehors de l'hôtel, le café à 5 euros, tout est prétexte à vous faire payer cher le moindre "extra". Pas de jus de fruits frais au petit déjeuner mais un jus industriel...

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was delicious every day, with an excellent variety to suit all tastes. There were plenty of sunbeds available, so there was no need to wake up early to reserve one. The views were absolutely stunning, and the rooms were very large, spacious, and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return in the future.

Constructive feedback: While breakfast was delicious, the selection remained almost identical each day during our three-night stay. It would be nice to see a little more variety from day to day. For example, I would have loved to see options like hash browns, although I understand that's just a personal preference. Another small suggestion concerns the pool bar. The cocktails were served in coffee cups, which didn't quite match the otherwise high standard and luxury feel of the hotel. Serving them in reusable plastic cocktail glasses or similar would greatly enhance the guest experience while still being safe for the pool area.

Our welcome greeting at the hotel after a long drive with our bags looked after and car parked for us was a great start! The room we were moved to had a fantastic view across the bay and was very comfortable. The hotel itself is genuinely beautiful, there's load of places to sit or to sunbathe, the private beach is very nice and the channel out into the sea is teaming with sea life and as such is incredible for snorkelling. One of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in, with gorgeous lighting in the evenings that really makes it feel quite magical. Breakfast was also excellent with a lots of delicious food options. Staff wise all of the cleaning crew and maids we're very lovely, some of the front of house were very friendly and also some of beach and main bar staff were aswell.

We booked one of the higher end rooms, all the pictures showed wonderful views but unfortunately the room we were first put in was really lovely but it essenitially overlooked the taxi/coach drop off, credit to the team though we were moved to a better room with very little fuss but after a long trip to the hotel we had to wait some hours to view the room and then for it to be cleaned. We tried to get some drinks at the beach bar and had problems assigning them to our room we felt a bit like they didn't trust us! By the time we had moved we'd lost a chunk of the day and it meant we were late to dinner which unfortunately meant we had the misfortune of having to experience their evening buffet. I say this with no joy at all but the buffet expereince was one of the worst I have experienced in many many years of travelling. The staff in the restaurant seemed very worn out (perhaps understaffed) brought us the wrong drinks but worst of all was that flies had taken up residence in the salad bar, all of the meat and fish was cold and overcooked and the chef refused to do anything fresh for us and all of the dessert labels had been taken away so we had no idea what had geletin (my wife is pescetarian) so we didn't try any epsecially after one the staff got very angry with me for asking her to explain what things were. They refused to take this meal off of our bill becasue I had signed for it! A real shame as we'd planned to take most of our meals at the hotel and found ourselves driving into town each night instead. During the day the beach bar staff were regularly shouting at eachother angrily in greek, we had an evening drink one evening and one of the bar staff nealry pushed my wife off of the bridge connecting the bar to the seating area rushing past her, just not good vibes.

The room looked even better than the pictures and everything was super clean and they cleaned and tidied up the room twice a day , the staff were super friendly and warm and the location of the resort was so unique.

Le petit déjeuner, il faut parfois attendre 1/4h pour avoir un café - organisation à revoir Pains et viennoiseries industrielles, très peu de fromages et de charcuteries, pas de plats cuisinés Inadmissible dans un 5 étoiles de devoir payer en plus pour certains transats qui sont pourtant bien affichés en photo sur booking (et non précisés en supplément) J’ai eu le malheur de mettre 10 minutes à m’installer avec mes béquilles et j’ai dû tout remballer ! Sacs de serviettes qui restent la journée dans les couloirs Salle de sport réduite à rien

Prachtige locatie. Prima onderhouden en vooral buitengewoon vriendelijk personeel op alle niveaus. Ieder verzoek wordt onmiddelijk opgepakt. Wel heel veel niveaus in het complex dus goed ter been is punt.

Het is ook een plek voor all inclusive. En dat levert voor ons delema. Kleinschalig versus massa toerisme. Jammer dus. Was vooraf wel duidelijk en is dus keuze van ons.

La vue, le SPA (merci encore à Maria et à Eleana pour leur gentillesse et la qualité de leurs soins), la partie plage / piscine vraiment très chouettes, le beach-bar, la grandeur de la chambre et la gentillesse de certains membres de l’équipe (d’autres ne disaient pas bonjour voire était assez mal aimable, notamment au bar).

Les chambres sont vieillotes avec de la moisissure dans la sdb, certaines serviettes de toilettes avaient des trasses noires. Les photos indiquées sur booking pour la chambre sélectionnée sont différentes de la réalité et clairement en-dessous. Le buffet (du soir surtout) et les abords assez mal entretenus. Ce n’est clairement pas un 5 étoiles.

Wir bekamen ein Zimmer mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht von Elounda. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr stilvoll gestaltet. Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Unheimlich störend waren die Speedboote. Nicht passend zu einem 5 Sterne Hotel. Ausstellung einer Rechnung erst bei Nachfrage

Our room had incredible views and I feel the most private room. We loved to wake up just before the sun went up and enjoy the breathtaking views. The breakfast was one of best we had in a resort.

To be honest we loved the resort. I have nothing bad to say about it, the only thing I can think of is one of the restaurants should be serving some authentic Greek food, especially French fries and gyros for a quick lunch light lunch.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ ευρύχωρο και άνετο, ενώ κατά την άφιξή μας μάς υποδέχτηκαν με μεγάλη ζεστασιά και ευγένεια, προσφέροντάς μας κέρασμα στην υποδοχή. Το μπάνιο ήταν καθαρό και λειτουργικό, και το μπαλκόνι προσέφερε υπέροχη θέα προς τον κήπο και τη θάλασσα, ιδανική για στιγμές χαλάρωσης. Το πρωινό καταπληκτικό!!!!! Συνολικά, ήταν μια αξέχαστη διαμονή σε ένα περιβάλλον γεμάτο ηρεμία και φιλοξενία.

Δεν μπορώ να σκεφτώ κάτι αρνητικό – όλα ήταν υπέροχα. Το μέρος αυτό είναι πραγματικά ένας επίγειος παράδεισος. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.
