Effectivement, sans moyen de locomotion impossible de trouver un restaurant où autre (chemin impraticable à pieds par forte pluie).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Sea Inn. The staff were exceptionally helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout our visit. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a wonderful experience. Our time here was truly memorable, and we look forward to returning.

The staff. they don't know this specific thing, and they are struggling to give us the proper information.

Spacious room. Room looks nice. Staff were really friendly. Bed was comfortable. Decent water pressure in the shower. Food was tasty, breakfast was nice.

Black mould behind the sink and in the shower. There was construction going on which wasn’t ideal but didn’t interfere too much, just meant we kept curtains closed on the driveway side of the room otherwise there were a handful of men able to see into the room. The orange juice served at breakfast was more like Fanta than juice.

Hotel cancelled my fully paid booking due to not having rooms available

We were horrified at how filthy of the property was. Couldn’t even bring out ourselves to check in completely.

The bedrooms were absolutely filthy. A shower was covered in mold.

매우 만족합니다.

Stanza grande e letti comodi. Dentro la stanza venivano forniti spazzolini mono uso e una serie di prodotti per l'igiene personale (bagnoschiuma, shampoo e dentifricio). Molto vicino al mare con possibilità di fare tour nelle isole limitrofe e una piccola piscina a disposizione della struttura. Nonostante alcuni problemi iniziali, tutto sommato lo staff è stato gentile.

Le foto della struttura non corrispondono alla struttura reale, che dovrebbe essere manutenzionata. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora l'arrivo di qualcuno per effettuare il check-in che non si capisce da dove dovesse arrivare. Nel frattempo un dipendente ci chiedeva anche quale fosse la nostra stanza. Prezzi poco chiari per l affitto del transfer che a detta loro era 800 pesos per 2 ore, poi è diventato fixed price 800 anche solo per fare dall aeroporto alla struttura, e poi sono diventati 900 per andare al porto, perché a detta loro era più lontano. Al nostro check out avevamo richiesto un auto alle 4 del mattino, la quale è arrivata alle 4 e 30. Forse per colmare il ritardo, l'autista ha iniziato a guidare come un pilota di formula 1 per strada. Abbiamo visto la morte con gli occhi. Peggior transfer di sempre!!!

I liked the view and the staff the most. The staffs accommodated us so well, even helped us with our lost item. they tried to searched for our item even if we are no longer staying in their property. They called us, and was able to find our item. Very grateful for their honesty and hospitality.

Small space when you put your luggage you cannot move around

It has it own beach but fit only for 3 people small space to walk to steps. Next beach bigger but its private as they instructed me not cross what i call the fence. Also, they said it sea view when i gone there it wasn’t. But not big deal. Also the restaurant in rooftop limited with food menu and you cannot try another restaurant coz you’re isolated in nowhere there is nothing next to you to try !

المكان متهالك الغرفة إطلالتها على الممرات بجدار زجاجي وعليه ستارة لا يوجد خصوصية الحمام يحتاج الى صيانة ومنطقة الفندق سيئة.

Everything was nice. Mark and Christine were very nice and accommodating.

I’m 62 and a very experienced diver. I wanted to just snorkel and was questioned and ridiculed by an overweight sloppy Jesus. Tambok is his nickname. He questioned me like I was a child. He’s not good with customers. Another lady had a run in with him as well. I think, he thinks he owns and runs the place.

The staff were incredible, it was my birthday and they even sung to me! The view was next level and my bed was so comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

It was a little tricky to find and a bit of a stroll from the main drag but easy in a car

Most of the staff were very nice, rooms were good. Breakfast was limited.

Security woke me up at 12am the third night asking a bunch of dumb questions like he was the police. Had to slam the door on him. Everyone apologised except him. The road to the resort was probably the worst in the Entire Cebu province.

Il ne faut pas être trop difficile vu le prix de la nuit ,l accès à l hôtel est difficile ,2km entre la route principale et l entrée de l hôtel ,nécessité de prendre un taxi ,ou bien de louer une moto car c est un chemin de terre ,le personnel est très poli et très agréable.

Everything, booking.com need to review this property. All photos are photoshopped and property is very run down. From the moment we got there everything went wrong, warm beers, bath wouldn’t run due to staff telling us mouldy and rusty water lines, they would not move us rooms said the manager is back tomorrow and will sort out. windows are not tinted so everyone can see in, no blinds on other windows. Shower mouldy and cockroaches in room. Manager very unhelpful and there was no understanding about anything, offered nothing as compensation, why book a better room with a bath if you can not use and health issues with amount of mould in the room.

THE VIEW is PRICELESS. my first time to stay ocean view in the Philippines after a few visits now. THE STAFF was WONDERFUL! On site bar and full service restaurant with many items reasonably priced!

Unfortunately, the CR has no waste vent, Bec it smells of 💩 💩. We had the same problem at an apartment in Taiwan. I didn't expect that here. l at a "resort". The new owners have much to learn yet and admitted they have learned a lot since taking over. The CR needs some updating in my opinion. The beautiful tub that allows you to bath and soak while looking out the floor to ceiling glass windows must take 6 hours to fill up. Bec even with the plug in, after 1 hour it didn't show much sign of filling up. Not sure what the deal was there, we had to ask how to use the controls and still the water was extremely slow or low flow. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very hard. Not comfortable. Unfortunately, i got food poisoning or a stomach bug from sushi in the Japan before my flight to Cebu. So that hit me after I landed. So that first night I had a small leakage on the sheet. We were reassured by the maid there would be no charge. But 2.5 days later upon checkout we were told by the maid that the mgr said a 3,000 pesos charge would need to be paid. Equivalent of $48 USD. I demanded to speak to the mgr or owner Immediately. We could have washed out the little brown water stain ourselves, but the way the conversation went it seemed they had just tried to clean the sheet 2m5 days later 🤨 .... 🤔 Well of course it won't come out easily now. That's your fault. After a 20min+ discussion. The owner agrees to reduce the "already discounted" damage fee to 2,000 pesos. So i agreed. Bec I am half to blame. He claimed they use "high quality" items for bedding and things and that he couldn't just order 1 sheet. Bec if color differences in material and that the he had to order 10 sheet packs to do that. OR order a complete comforter bed set. So this is also why I agreed.

I loved the views and the peace of it all. The water equipment was readily available and the cottage was the best place to have a drink and relax.

The location. It is 20 to 30 mins from the airport, no nightlife or entertainment nearby, no restaurants nearby except the one on site, no bars nearby either. The location is within a local area so you have to take a scooter or a grab to get anywhere.

Personnel très agréable et accueillant. Petit déjeuner au top.

Direkte Lage am Meer. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Kaum saß man am Pool wurde kostenfrei Trinkwasser in Glasflaschen serviert. Man wurde vom Service der Bar nie animiert mehr zu konsumieren. Management sehr zuvorkommend. Endlich mal ein Swimmingpool bei dem ein Schwimmer auch schwimmen kann. (Tiefe entsprechend über 2 Meter. (selten in Asien).

Für das Preisleistungsverhältnis alles gut. Keine negativen Erlebnisse.

We spend here our first couple of nites in the Philippines. We stayed in 2 different rooms and the one with the bathtub totally worth the extra. The view is great. Food is really good and consistent. Coffee can be great; the first day I got a lame espresso, But on breakfast I got one of the best Capuccino in Philippines. It depends on the Barista.

I hope I could have time for scuba dive.

I loved staying here ! It’s retro style and quirkiness really charmed me. Imagine Wes Anderson film set! It’s right on the waters edge and the snorkelling is excellent . It’s super clean, the staff are warm and welcoming. Excellent food , laid back bar feel, excellent location and very safe.

The location. By the sea but not far from Lapu Lapu. Very friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Good value for money.
