The rooms were very good and exceptionally clean. The reception and guest relations staff were always friendly and willing to assist us with anything we needed. The specialty restaurants were excellent, especially the French and Turkish restaurants. The swimming pools, beach, and water park were all very good and well-maintained. The drinks served at the main bar and beach bar were of very good quality.

The following comments are based on our experience at the same hotel last year, as well as our comparison with other hotels in the same price range. The main restaurant was the biggest disappointment during our stay. Compared with last year, there was a noticeable decline in both the variety and quality of the food, with a clear lack of resources and very little effort to introduce new dishes or provide any meaningful variety throughout the different meals. The taste of the food was generally good, which was the main positive aspect of the restaurant, but unfortunately, good taste alone does not compensate for the limited variety and noticeable decline in overall standards. The daytime animation program was also below expectations on most days. The team did not provide a sufficiently engaging or varied program, and they often appeared to be performing their duties without the energy, enthusiasm, or interaction expected from an animation team. When I raised my concerns directly with one of the team members, the response was extremely indifferent and showed very little interest in addressing the issue. I subsequently submitted a formal complaint, but unfortunately, the response I received was not satisfactory. The evening entertainment program was also disappointing, with a good level of entertainment mainly limited to Saturdays and Sundays. Another concern was the attitude of some employees. A number of staff members were noticeably unfriendly and unhelpful, frequently responding to requests by saying that it was “not their job” and that another employee was responsible, even when they were working in the same area. In some cases, restaurant staff would simply direct guests to get items themselves instead of providing assistance. More concerningly, some employees were seen communicating with each other in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner, including using unsuitable language in front of guests.

الغرف كانت جيدة جدا ونضيفة موظفى الريسبشن والجيست ريليشن كانوا يحاولون مساعدتنا المطاعم المتخصصة كانت جيدة جدا مثل الفرنسى والتركى حمامات السباحة والشاطئ والاكوا بارك كانوا جيدين المشروبات المقدمة بالبار الرئيسى وبار الشاطئ كانت بجودة عالية

النقاط السلبية هذه بالمقارنة بنفس الفندق بالعام السابق وبالفنادق في ذات القيمة السعرية المطعم الرئيسى فقير جدا ويوجد اقتصاد شديد فى الموارد وفى نوعية الطعام المقدم في كافة الوجبات ولا يوجد اي تجديد .. يشفع له فقط جودة الطعم الانيميشن تيم نهارا لا يقدم برنامج جيد باستثناء فى معظم الايام ، ويؤدون عملهم دون ان يكون لديهم طاقة او روح تجذب المقيمين ، وعندما تحدثت مع احدهم كان التعامل فى منتهي اللامبالاه وعدم الاهتمام وتم تقديم شكوى ولكن لم يصلنى رد مرضى ، كذاك لا يوجد برنامج جيد للحفلات الليلية باسثناء يومي السبت والاحد بعض الموظفين غير ودودين مطلقا ودايما يكون جوابهم عن طلباتنا هذا ليس عملى بل هو عمل شخص اخر رغم انهم يعملون في ذات الموقع ، وبعض الموظفين في المطعم عندما تطلب منه طلب يقوم بتوجيهك لتحضره لنفسك !! كما انهم يتعاملون مع بعضهم بطريقة غير لائقة وبعبارات غير مناسبة امام النزلاء !! عدم الاهتمام بالكيدز ايريا ليلا رغم انها لم تكن كذلك العام السابق ، لدرجة ان ابنائنا رفضوا الذهاب لها بعد ان وجدو الاختلاف منذ اليوم الاول الاكوا بارك تحتاج لعدد اكبر من الالعاب تناسب الكبار

Die Zimmerreinigung war gut. Die Lage ist in Ordnung, auch wenn es kein Riff gibt. Toll war, dass es immer freie Liegen am Pool gab. Die Speisenauswahl und -qualität im Buffetrestaurant war richtig gut.

In der ersten Nacht gab es ein Problem mit der Toilette. Der ganze Boden im gesamten Zimmer stand war mit Wasser der Toilette gefüllt. Es wurde zwar repariert aber uns wirde nichts als Entschädigung angeboten. In jedem Buffet-Restaurant wurde bei jedem Essen bereits 45 Minuten vor Schluss das Buffet abgebaut. Ein No-Go für ein angebliches "Luxus"-Hotel. Die Handtücher für Poom und Strand sind eine bodenlose Frechheit für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse - äußerst dünn, alt und schmutzig - da wird keines mit 60 Grad gewaschen. Die Frau an der Rezeption sprach überhaupt nicht respektvoll mit uns. Die Kellner sehen einen nur, wenn Trinkgeld fließt. Die a-la-carte-Restaurants waren ausgebucht. Nur den Inder konnten wir testen. Auch dieses Restaurant ist einem 5-Sterne-"Luxus"-Hotel nicht würdig. Das Service äußerst langsam und unfreundlich. Die Nuggets für Kinder steinhart und ungebießbar. In den Buffetrestaurants wurden wir nicht einmal gefragt, ob wir etwas trinken möchten. Der Kidsclub ist grundsätzlich toll - optisch dem Schlüpfeland abgepasst. Die Ausstattung innen jedoch mehr als mager. Der Aquapark vielfältig aber sehr veraltert und kaputt. Die Swim-up-Pools teilt man sich mit mi destens 5 anderen Zimmern.... Es gibt weitaus bessere und wirkliche Luxushotels in Hurghada und Makadi (Pure Lifestyle, Aldau Beach, Posh Club Sunrise Crystal Bay oder auch Grand Waterworld Makadi - für Kids perfekt mit großartigem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis). Wir haben uns für den Preis viel mehr erwartet Hier iat der Name nicht Programm.

The property was lovely and clean.

The spa staff were extremely persistent and continually tried to sell treatments, even after we had politely declined. Their hard-selling approach became intrusive and uncomfortable. Some of the waiting staff also repeatedly put on exaggerated British accents when speaking to us, which felt mocking and was completely inappropriate for a resort that presents itself as high-class. To make matters worse, my 14-year-old son was charged £18 for a small football in the resort shop. It felt as though he had been deliberately taken advantage of because of his age.

I liked everything. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, large and well-maintained resort with multiple pools and a beautiful, clean beach. Plenty of attractions and entertainment for children and adults. Large, spacious, comfortable rooms with everything you need. A lot of wonderful, hard-working people who cared about our comfort, wonderful time, and safety.

Our request was not fulfilled prior arrival and we had to wait to get our request fulfilled despite our reservation was made a month in advance, but reception staff did their best to accommodate

Nous tenons à remercier la réception pour son accueil à notre arrivée, ainsi que le service Guest Relation pour la réservation des restaurants à la carte. Points forts : grand hôtel, nombreuses piscines, aquapark avec toboggans, magnifique plage idéale pour le snorkeling sans excursion, avec beaucoup de poissons à observer. Nous avons également été surclassés en suite, à proximité des restaurants. Cocktails bon. Les spectacles du soir sont très bien assurés. Hôtel propre, ménage efficace et interventions rapides en cas de problème ou de demande.

Points négatifs : le restaurant principal ne nous a pas convaincus. La qualité et la présentation de la nourriture ne sont pas à la hauteur de l’hôtel, l’organisation est parfois confuse et les serveurs sont souvent débordés, au point de devoir nous servir nous-mêmes les boissons à plusieurs reprises. Le service dans les bars manque également de régularité. Les restaurants à la carte sont globalement bons, sauf le restaurant français, dont la cuisine ne correspond pas vraiment à la gastronomie française et qui nous a déçus. Nous avons déjà séjourné dans deux autres hôtels pour le même voyage, et le Xanadu est celui qui nous a le plus déçus concernant la nourriture.

La gentilezza del personale in tutta la struttura sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni tua esigenza e necessità. Struttura elegante e ben tenuta anche se è grande è dotata di un servizio navetta che ti collega ai vari punti di ritrovo della struttura dalla reception alla spiaggia.

We recently spent one week at Xanadu Makadi Bay, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. Everything was top notch from the delicious food variety to the crystal clear beach, beautiful swimming pools, and the fun Aqua Park. One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is quite large and spread out, so you need to be in good physical shape to walk around, explore, and fully enjoy everything the property has to offer. A highlight of our trip was the 2-hour boat tour, where we got to see the vibrant sea life and fish deep in the Red Sea. It was truly an unforgettable experience! Special thanks to the Reception team for the easiest check-in (you barely need to stand at the counter) and a lightning-fast check-out in under a minute. Huge appreciation as well to Nasma Tarek (Guest Relations) for her attentive follow-ups and making sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommended! Overall, a delightful resort for a family vacation. Highly recommended!

Nothing negative to mention , Everything was well managed. Due to the resort's large size, guests should be prepared for quite a bit of walking, though there are plenty of golf carts readily available to assist with transportation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Xanadu Makadi Bay Hurghada, and overall, everything was simply perfect. From the beautiful hotel and excellent facilities to the warm atmosphere and attentive service. A special thank you to the hotel for the amazing upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was absolutely incredible—spacious, comfortable , and truly made our stay even more special. It was more than we could have asked for! I would also like to give a special mention to Ibrahim A. Rhaman at the reception. He was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and a real pleasure to talk to.

الموظفين قمة فى الرقى والزوق .. النظافه والاكل وكل شىء فندق مميز فعلا وعائلى جدا ومكان مثالى للاسترخاء ... حمامات السباحه وتقسيمتها والشاطىء رملى مناسب

الاكل محتاج تنوع اكتر خصوصا اللحوم والدجاج وطريقة الطهى . لكن الجوده كانت مميزه .. الفندق كبير جدا ومرهق ومشتت خصوصا لو معاك عائله ولازم باص من الريسيبشن وحمام السباحه الرئيسى للشاطىء او الاكوا او المسرح . الفعاليات بالمسرح مخصصه كلها للاجانب مافيش اى فقرات للعرب او العائلات مع ان الفندق فيه عائلات عرب ومصريين بنسبه واضحه

Különösen magas színvonalú resort Egyiptomban a Makadi-öbölben. Magas színvonalú ellátás, hihetetlen ételválaszték, minőségi italok, kényelmes szobák, szuper tengerpart jellemzik. Sok egyiptomi hotelben szálltunk már meg, de a Xanadu legszínvonalasabb mind közül. Külön meg kell említeni Nasma Tarik ügyfélkapcsolati munkatárs kiemelkedően kedves és lelkiismeretes munkáját, amivel még szebbé és jobbá tette az ott töltött napjainkat.

A beach bárok némelyikében, a koktélok vagy a jegeskávé nem mindig az elvárt minőségben készültek el.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, luxurious, and exceptionally clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food quality and variety were outstanding, and every restaurant offered a great experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and always welcoming. Our children loved the Kids Club, the pools, and the beach. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing family vacation.

Honestly, nothing significant. If I had to mention one small point, I would only suggest adding more evening entertainment and activities for families and children.

Otele gece giriş yaptığımız halde hiç beklemeden odamıza yerleştik. Deniz muhteşemdi boyunuzu geçmeyen yerlerde balıklarla yüzdük dalışa gitmeye hiç gerek yok. Yemekler yeterliydi ala carte geç öğlen yemeği için çok iyiydi. Buzdolabı hergün doluydu. Dönüşte gece uçuşumuz olduğu halde odayı kullanmamıza müsade edildi. Bugün üzülerek otelden ayrılıyoruz. Otelin genel müsürü Gazi Bey in özellikle yanımıza gelip güleryüzüyle muhanbetine ve ikramlarına desteğine çok teşekkür ederiz.

One off the best hotel in Hurghada- makadi bay

Xanadu Makadi Bay'de Temmuz 2025'den sonraki 2. konaklamamız. Eşim ve 2 çocuğumuzla birlikte 2.konaklamamızda da Lagoon Dublex Swim-up Suite oda tipini tercih ettik. Oda gerçekten çok büyük. 3 adet banyo 4 kişi için gerçekten çok konfor sağlıyor. Oda temizliği güzel. Otel çok büyük bir alana yayılmış olmasına rağmen, biz kaldığımız bölge hem ana, bina hem de sahile yakın olduğu için shuttle servisine çok ihtiyaç duymadık. Ana restauranttaki yemek kalitesi oldukça iyi. O nedenle bu sene a la carte kullanmaya bile ihtiyaç duymadık. Geçen sene Fransız a la carte denemiştik. Süperdi. Sahil ve deniz bizce çok keyifliydi. Deniz sığ ve temiz. Personele ayrı bir parantez açmak lazım, genel olarak çok çok iyiler. 2 senedir bizim rezervasyon sonrası sorularımıza ve konaklama sırasında taleplerimize içtenlikle destek olan Müşteri Deneyimi Direktörü Gülnaz Hanım'a da özellikle teşekkür ederiz. 20 yaşındaki kızım ve 14 yaşındaki oğlum bir daha ne zaman gideceğiz diye sormaya başladılar bile.

Oda aydınlatması daha iyi olabilirdi. Lagoon Dublex Swim-Up Suite için havalandırma ile ilgili bir revizyona ihtiyaç var. 2 konaklamada total 15 günde 3 kez klima arızası yaşadık. Çok hızlı çözüldü, ama olmamalı. Ayrıca klimalar biraz gürültülü çalışıyor ve her 2 odada da direkt yatak bölümüne doğru üfleme yapıyorlar, oda yerleşimi bence doğru dizayn edilmemiş. Burası bir Türk otel, ama Türk kahvesini süt köpürten buharlı ekipman ile yapıyorlar. Barlara Türk kahve makinaları iyi olur.

Massage and spa

Tesis çok büyük ve imkanlar yeterliydi. Yemekler türk damak tadına uyuyordu. Aktiviteler güzeldi. Yan yana iki oda istemiştik giriş yaptığımızda odalarda mesafe olunca odamız hemen yükseltildi ve dubleks oda sağlandı. Misafir ilişkileri Nesma çok yardımcı oldu ve çok güleryüzlüydü. Sahili kum ve denizi çok güzeldi.

Hava rüzgarlı olduğu için havuzlar çok soğuktu ısıtmalı havuzunda çalışmadığı söylendi. Snacklerde daha çok büfe çeşitliliği olabilirdi. Sahilde şezlong bulmakta zorlandık. Ayrıca türk oteli olmasına rağmen hamam ücretliydi. Bu alışılagelmiş bir durum değil.

Приятная атмосфера, много ресторанов Аля карта , разнообразные меню , особенно приятно, что завтрак тоже можно провести в ресторане по меню , в тишине и покое!

Очень неуютный основной ресторан , низкий потолок , очень шумно, много суеты. Вечером совсем нет ощущения праздника . Анимация тоже желает быть лучше.

A very large kids' area full of games and activities, and they allowed the child to have one toy for the entire stay... A spacious room with a great view... Special thanks to Ms. Nesma, the guest relations supervisor, who communicated with us throughout our stay, and also to Chef Mohamed Nabil, who was very professional and attentive.

The waiters are always talking loudly and arguing, especially in the main restaurant.

De kamers waren erg gehorig; je kon letterlijk alles horen. Als vrouw zijnde voelde het personeel ook erg opdringerig aan. Om de paar minuten kwam er wel iemand op je af: de één wilde een praatje maken, de ander keek je ongemakkelijk aan, probeerde iets te verkopen of je extra geld afhandig te maken. Je bent continu bezig om hiermee om te gaan in plaats van te ontspannen. Kortom: als je hier komt voor je rust, dan is dit absoluut geen aanrader.

I didn’t like the beach, it was poor and the water smells and oily a bit and the sea bed was oily and there’s much grass. Food was not good compared to the hotel price (not a high class all inclusive at all), my 2 years old son had diarrhea from the food there and it ruined my whole holiday The doctor was helpful and the executive manager Hashim Lotfy tried his best to make it for us but unfortunately I had to check out early to check on my son and he approved a last night refund while my booking was nonrefundable

Öncelikle hersey mükemmeldi tam bir fiyat performans hoteli. Çalışanlar çok yardımsever ve güleryüzlüydü türkleri ayrıca çok seviyorlar. Hotel çok temizdi ve odamızı her gün temizlediler. Açık büfe de türk mutfağı hakimdi ve her şey oldukça lezzetliydi. Şefi de Türk. Alacarte imkanı var rez vaptırıp gidebiliyorsunuz. Turkuaz restroran türk restoranı ve çok lezzetli uğramanızı tavsiye ederim. Biz fransız ve italyan mutfağını da denedik. Fransız çok çok iyiydi. Sahil tarafındaki pizzacıda oldukça lezzetli. Hotel çok büyük sahile shuttle geçiyor 2 dkkda bir. Sahilin oradaki bardan taze manho suyunı öneriririm :) Sahili çok güzel ben gelmeden önce çok araştırmıştım sığ olmaması için. Deniz tertemiz hatta ve hatta hotelin önündeki denizde çokça mercan resifleri var snorkelle gitmenizi tavsiye ederim. Biz yüzmekten çok değişik balıkları ve resifleri izledik. Dalış için internetten almadık çünkü sabah bizi kara yolu ile alıp belli bölgeden tekneye bindiriyorlardı. Otelin içinde ‘’SEA WAWES’’ tur şirketinden aldık direk sahilden teknelerine bindik ve çok keyifliydi. Benim dalış korkum vardı ona rağmen Muhammed Ali güven vererek çok yardımcı oldu ve asla acele ettirmediler. Tekne gayet büyüktü ve kalabalık değildi. Hotelde giriş çıkış için de çok yardımcı oldular eğer yardıma ihtiyacınız olursa GÜLNAZ Hanımı bulabilirsiniz. Kendisi çok tatlı yardımsever biri, size hemen yardım edecektir. Unutulmaz bir deneyimdi, yeniden Mısır Hurgadaya gitmek istesem kesinlikle Xanaduyu tercih ederim ki kısa bir süre sonra yeniden gitmeyi planlıyoruz :))

Mohli by kontrolovat obsazování lehátek u bazénu vždy tam ráno někdo hodí ručník a pul dne tam neni a blokuje tím ostatní....jakmile tam 30 min nikdo nrni měli by ty ručníky sbírat a uvolnit místo jiným lidem....klient to většinou sám od sebe neudělá protože se bojí konfliktu s jiným klientem

Das Hotel ist gesamtheitlich gesehen wirklich ok, Essen ok, Poollandschaft sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, sauber, sehr schön.

Leider waren Ende März die meisten Pools sehr kühl (nur 2 kleinere beheizt), im Sommer muss die poollandschaft aber traumhaft sein. Wirklich abzuraten ist von allen vorort Angeboten, die meist durch externen Hard selling Verkäufer in der Anlage verkauft werden. Klarer Rat: keines , wirklich keines davon annehmen, sie sind alle auch nach Verhandlungen noch immer 2-4x (!!) zu teuer. Vorallem vom Spa und den Bootstrips ist dringend abzuraten, diese sind Wucher und schlechte Qualität. Bootsfahrten und Taxis immer über online Plattformen buchen, nur dort faire Preise. Zb Taxi zum Flughafen: Hotel Preis 80€, booking.com: 14€. , Bootsfahrt Vorort 30-50€, get your Guide: 15€. Der Spa hat zudem grobe Hygiene Probleme, mein Mann hat einen Hautausschlag davon getragen. Ich frage mich warum das Hotel diese Machenschaften zulässt. Die Quad Fahrten hinter der Haus sind teuer aber qualitativ wirklich ok.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt! Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Ali, Mahmud, Mohammed und sowie Ali aus dem Dragon Restaurant. AuchMoody vom Unterhaltungsteam und Nasrin aus dem Spa-Bereich waren sehr nett. Ein großes Dankeschön und großes Lob auch an Hussein Hasan beim Strandservice und Getränkeservice am Abend. Er war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war hervorragend, vor allem im Hauptrestaurant und im Dragon Restaurant. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, die Zimmer groß und sauber – unsere Wünsche wurden uns von den Augen abgelesen.

Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Statt eines Notizhefts und Becher als Geschenk wäre eine Strandtasche sinnvoller, und am Strand könnten umweltfreundlichere Alternativen zu Plastikbechern und Strohhalm verwendet werden. Zum Beispiel aus Papier!

Podobał nam się duży, nieskazitelnie czysty, przestronny pokój z dostępem do basenu o podwyższonym standardzie. Bardzo dobre W-f w całym obiekcie. W pokoju lodówka, sejf, czajnik, suszarka. Codziennie uzupełniana lodówka woda ,piwo ,cola itp. Naprawdę miłym zaskoczeniem bylo ,że codziennie dostawaliśmy świeże owoce do pokoju. Łóżka były wygodne i duże. Obsługa, komfort i gościnność są na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Różnorodność dań jest ogromnym plusem w restauracjach, każdy znajdzie coś pysznego dla siebie. Od wejścia do hotelu aż do jego opuszczenia , hotel był pod każdym względem doskonały. Czuliśmy się bezpiecznie i naprawdę komfortowo. Bezpłatnie dostępny alkohol importowany. Muszę jeszcze wspomnieć o codziennych animacjach dla dzieci oraz wieczornych atrakcjach oraz wystepach. Napewno jeszcze tak wrócimy.

Ein wunderschönes, großes All-Inclusive-Hotel mit einer tollen Atmosphäre. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Essen ist hervorragend abwechslungsreich und unglaublich lecker. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich jederzeit wohlfühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Hadi Zahran, Mohamed Saed und Mohamed Eldesouky einfach die besten! Immer gut gelaunt, herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
