TRS Turquesa Hotel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Lovely resort comprising of multiple hotel / apartment complexes. The place is absolutely huge and they run golf carts to get you around. The hotel I was in and the grounds were incredibly well maintained, staff were friendly, food was good in the restaurants I tried. My room was vast! Very comfortable.

It felt so remote. I'm someone that likes to walk around the place I'm staying, get to experience the local vibe, etc. but it was a bit of a mission to get out of the resort and into town. Yes - I could have got a taxi, but I'm someone that likes to walk, take it all in, etc. Nothing against the resort - if that's your sort of thing, then awesome. It's more about me that I wasn't too keen on it than the place itself.

El hotel tiene muchas opciones de piscinas, restaurantes y actividades de todo tipo. Está muy bien cuidado, aunque se nota que es algo antiguo. El personal fue muy amable todo el tiempo y nos explicaron todo muy detalladamente.

No me gustó el acceso a la playa. La playa no tiene más de 2 metros de anchura, prácticamente no hay espacio. Además no hay barrera para sargazo y no había limpieza en la playa, como si observé en los hoteles vecinos. Sumado a eso, el complejo es inmenso y para ir a la gran mayoría de los lugares necesitas la ayuda de carritos de traslado, los cuales son escasos y tienen poca frecuencia. Eso te hace perder mucho tiempo.

Tutto bellissimo, dallo staff ai servizi alla camera. Molto beuona la colazione, super abbondante e con tutto. Bellissima anche la zona piscina o la vicinanza al mare.

Breakfast was good, activities were plentiful, spa was nice. Pool was nice and the drinks kept coming.

Seaweed / sargassum on the beach, which the resort can't control (August stay.) Older hotel so things aren't in tip-top shape. The food was hit and miss, things not cooked to specifications. Spa needs to rotate music (it was the same song on loop the entire time.)

MUY REPETITIVA LA COMIDA , NO HAY VARIACION , LOS TRANSPORTES DE LUGAR A LUGAR DENTRO DEL HOTEL SON MUY LENTOS Y LA CENA DE CHIC NO ES MUY BUENA

La playa estaba llena de sargazo que incluso al pasar los días por la falta de limpieza empezó a descomponerse. Tuvimos que irnos un día en paseo en bote porque la playa estaba muy contaminada y no nos podíamos bañar en el mar. La comida me cayó muy mal, creo que deberían de prestar más atención a conservar las cadenas de frío, sobretodo en un lugar con tanto calor. El servicio sobretodo en los restaurantes fue caótico. Un día esperamos 40 minutos por un helado. No es una experiencia luxury y no deberían de venderla como tal. También hubo un Phishing, parece que vulneraron las bases de datos y nos enviaron un mensaje de Whatsapp con la información de toda nuestra estadía y un enlace de pago que era una estafa.

The pool area by block 53 was super quiet, never had to rush to get a sunbed. Members of staff walk around and bring you your drinks etc. We used the main pool once, but found it was quite loud with Americans trying to out do each other on volume. We didn’t get asked to have a tour by the timeshare people which was good. The butler service was nice but absolutely not essential. Food: Breakfast buffet was really good at Capricho, it was much better than Helios. Lunch à la carta at Helios was hit and miss - we had the 2 paellas which were delicious but the pasta dishes weren’t great. Helios service was pretty slow, we ordered drinks that never came. Dinner was delicious, we tried La Boheme, Bamboo, Kusko, Tentazione & La Paisana. The room was fine, no complaints, I do see why people say they need modernising but you aren’t in it for long each day. Air con works well & the shower was hot.

The room service is very inconsistent, despite hanging our towels up to show we would use them again, we were often given new ones. Sometimes flannels were replaced & other times not. It sometimes took until after lunch for the room to be cleaned most days. We were also approached by the maid on our last night, she knocked on the door and claimed to have cleaned our room twice each day (even though we’re sure she hadn’t) & wouldn’t leave until we gave her a tip. Food was pretty decent, there’s so much variety. However with that variety are slightly different standards. Nothing was terrible. Service in all restaurants was pretty slow however once they cleared your main plate they wanted to know what you wanted for dessert immediately & it was bought very quickly. Some of the plugs in the room didn’t work, which was just inconvenient & WiFi was terrible in the evenings - couldn’t connect to it. We complained several times & it was looked at each time but hardly improved. A big annoyance was getting a golf cart back to TRS from the sports bar/hotel near. There’s no queue/organisation as per where you need to go. We waited over 20 minutes for a buggy to take us back, several empty ones just drove right past.

El personal siempre muy amable, pendientes de ayudarnos con cualquier cosa que necesitaramos, la piscina de nuestro hotel nunca estaba llena, el cuarto era amplio y nuestro quarto no estaba cerca a la piscina principal entonces nunca tuvimos problems de ruido. El Servicio a la habitación muy bueno y eficiente. La comica en general de los restaurants fue buena. Cabaret show fue maravilloso, vale la pena los $40 USD.

El Transporte en los carritos de golf como estabamos en el ultimo hotel del complejo casi no passband los carritos, nos toccata esperar más de media hora y en algunos moments nos toccata irons caminando, lo mismo pasó cuando estabamos en el primer hotel. El Restaurante de Helios que queda Sobre la playa esta muy bien ubicado, pero la comida no fue la mejor, ni las mejores opciones.

Our butler Rodny was amazing! Booked all of our dinner reservations and experiences outside of the property. All staff was inviting and welcoming. Highly recommend this resort.

El Hotel muy limpio y todo muy organizado. La comida muy buena y variada. El staff se llevò un 10/10 Lo unico que no me gustò, es el ruido de las personas a la madrugada, hablando muy alto, rodando muebles tan tarde en la noche. Llegabamos cansados de las excursiones y no podiamos descansar. Por lo demas, super bien. Suleica y Eury nustros mayordomos, EXCELENTES, los choferes de los carritos de golf, super amables.

El primer día el jacuzzi está en mal estado y el frigobar solo tenía bebida, al otro día solicite que lo reparar y que me dejaran agua.

Localización, la playa que tienen es una maravilla.todo el personal muy amable.

Nos intentaron estafar y nos hicieron perder el tiempo con el club traveler, te engañan diciéndote que te van a buscar para ir al desayuno y te hacen perder horas del resort. Muy mala experiencia en ese sentido y mucha prepotencia en la atención de la encargada que nos dio el precio del club, a pesar de que en todo momento dijimos que no estábamos interesados. Instalaciones antiguas, necesita una remodelación urgente. Personal lento, pero bastante común en República Dominicana.

The property was beautiful, and I really enjoyed the amenities! Rodney was our butler, and he was very attentive and friendly!

I wish the were more activities and parties at the TRS pool. I understand the importance of relaxation, but in there was plenty of opportunities for fun by the pool at least in the afternoon.

O hotel é espetacular em todas as experiências que buscamos nele. Vou destacar o quarto da Suite Junior Swim Up, que foi o que pegamos, com acesso direto da varanda a uma piscina calma e muito bonita, foi bom ficar lá relaxando por algumas horas todos os dias. A praia é maravilhosa até em dias nublados, e todos os restaurantes que fomos foram ótimos. Gostaria de agradecer especialmente ao Rand, que o hotel designou como nosso butler, e nos ajudou com restaurantes, dúvidas, e na oferta de experiências incríveis que vivemos - desde coisas banais como como sacar dinheiro, a experiências únicas como receber um floating boat cheio de comida no café da manhã; ou até garantir oferta de comida vegetariana para a minha esposa em um restaurante. Recomendo fortemente.

Nada de relevante. No máximo tivemos coisas pequenas como precisar de adaptações ou esclarecimentos para pratos vegetarianos ou a apresentação do clube de viagens deles que tomou muito tempo.

Lovely hotel. Swim up room was fabulous. House keeping staff were great as was our butler Noris. Nothing was too much bother. I got a text every morning with the weather and activities for the day and if I had any requests. She made all our restaurant reservations. I could not recommend her enough she made the whole experience amazing. The staff at the food truck were brilliant as was the food.

Some of the restaurants found it difficult to understand what WELL cooked was.

La tranquilidad de un hotel solo para adultos, la disponibilidad de camillas en la playa, la atención del personal. La asignación de un mayordomo para la estadía la cual siempre estuvo pendiente y fue súper amable ! Noris fue lo máximo !

Todo bien con respecto al alojamiento excepto con la empresa de transportes de regreso al aeropuerto. Felizmente con la ayuda del mayordomo se pudo solucionar el inconveniente !

O tour feito no complexo todo nos fez perder aproximadamente um dia inteiro.

Personal war nicht sehr freundlich. Genervt. Keine Hilfe an der Rezeption bei der Bitte um Infos über die Hotelanlage. Keine Geteänkelisten an den Bars. Schwierig in der Poolbar, wenn man da <Handy fürr QR Codes mitnehmen muss. Es gab keinen schriftlichenÜbersichtsplan über Events in der Anlage und über die Örtlichkeiten. Auch in der App schlechte Übersicht. Als Mensch ohne digitale Kenntnisse war man im Hotel verloren. Und es gab keine Bereitschaft zu helfen. Lage und Anlage des Hotels waren top, aber der Service mies.

Sehr gepflegte, wenn auch in die Jahre gekommene Anlage. Das Swimup Zimmer war grandios.

Zusatzkosten in Höhe von 100$ am Tag ohne die Möglichkeit das Angebot zu nutzen da alles belegt war.

Nos alojamos con mi marido para recibir el Año Nuevo. Ya desde el check in la atencion fue increíble. El servicio de mayordomo es espectacular, encargándose de proveernos todo lo requerido en nuestra habitacion y reservando los restaurants solicitados para nuestra estadía. Coordinaron nuestro día de spa, y la fiesta del 31. Contratamos la experiencia Premiun y la suite swin up. Si pueden no dejen de vivir esta experiencia. El personal es extremadamente atento y preparado para atender todas tus necesidades. Lugar ideal para relajar, descansar y pasarlo bien.

The room smelled very bad, the linens were all damp and wet, and it was very uncomfortable.

It was absolutely perfect, the choice of food, all the restaurants were sublime, the activities that were available, the staff who will do anything to make your stay perfect

Travel Club - they really go in for the hard sell, which was not needed on a relaxing holiday. We spent 3 and a half hours there when we were told “no obligation, only maximum 1 hour 20 minutes for a special presentation” - you get 200$ of points which can be spent at the resort for your time but if you only have a few days there I would just say no from the beginning. Tell the people in the lobby in the turquoise shirts that you are not interested, it was disguised to us as a tour around the whole premises, but it was in fact just a trip to the travel club centre where they try to get you to join.

O complexo em si é muito bom. Restaurantes bons e com um time de funcionários muito simpáticos e prontos para solucionar as questões.

A cama poderia ser trocada, o colchão já está velho e causa dor nas costas. Um pouco de dificuldade de agendar alguns restaurantes, não conseguimos em alguns.

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist toll. Man Sitz beim Frühstück und kann entspannt auf‘s Meer schauen. Die Gartenanlage ist super gepflegt und sehr sauber. Ebenso ist die Poolanlage bei den Swim-Up-Villen zwar renovierungsbedürftig, aber wunderschön anzusehen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man löst die meisten Probleme schnell und so gut wie möglich.

Die Anlage ist viel zu weitläufig. Die gebuchten Swim-Up-Suiten konnten, trotz mehrerer Anläufe, nicht bezogen werden, da alle massiv nach Schimmel und modrig gerochen haben. Das ganze Haus war eine Baustelle, die Wasserrohre im Flur waren freigelegt. Das All-Inclusive-Essen in den Restaurants ist qualitativ schlecht, außer im Kusko, und auf Massenabfertigung ausgelegt. Ebenso die angebotenen Getränke. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier in keinster Weise. Die Einrichtung ist teilweise sehr abgewohnt und kaputt. Uns fiel schon am ersten Tag die Schranktür entgegen. Beim Duschen war das Wasser 5 Tage kalt, was offensichtlich an der Baustelle lag. In der Minibar war es schimmelig.

Las instalaciones del hotel son muy bonitas, las habitaciones son tal como las muestran, es limpio y mantienen las zonas comunes limpias. Las piscinas son limpias y cómodas. Hay lugares de bebidas en varios sitios Dan servicio de mayordomo que ayuda mucho. Nuestra mayordoma Elaine muy amable con nosotros que estábamos de luna de miel. Bastante seguro

La comida es regular en todos los restaurantes, se rescata más el buffet que los restaurantes a la carta. El mejor de todos es el tepanyaki, pero aún así no es la gran cosa. Se nota que es comida prehecha y recalentada. Entonces pierde la frescura. El personal es amable pero se siente que mucho lo hacen por las propinas y si no se las das o si no aceptas los productos que ofrecen llegan a molestarse. Piden propina hasta por saludar , pero parece que es cultural de República Dominicana Realmente es muy molesto estar en un hotel resort a donde vienes a descansar y que en cada esquina esté personal del hotel ofreciendo paquetes premium (no valen la pena) o tours o masajes. Tienes que estar huyendo de tanta oferta como si estuvieras por fuera y no en el mismo hotel. Y al final en la encuesta propia estuvo presente un señor del hotel vigilando la puntuación que quería haciéndonos poner 10/10. No volveríamos a Punta Cana porque es fastidioso estar huyendo de tanto acoso.

Abordagem do pessoal do TRAVEL CLUB. São inconvenientes e insistentes!! Copos nas piscinas deveriam ser descartaveis. Muitas vezes pegamos copos cheirando muito mal.

The air could have been a little bit better in my room but our friends room was perfect.

The room was really nice and our butler was very helpful. Our room was always kept extremely clean and most of the workers were nice. They had a lot of food and drink options.

The people in the lobby asking you to go to breakfast with them to try and sell you something are very pushy… I don’t want to be sold stuff on my honeymoon and they didn’t like hearing no. While there was a lot of food options, the food wasn’t that great and the menus seemed kind of limited. They really didn’t have a lot of activities and the night life was basically non existent.

The beach was Nice, but yours get nice beaches at other resorts. The bathtub in the bedroom was also nice. Thats where the nice things end.

Food is AWFUL. Brand, flavourless. Room service was the only place worth eating at. They NAG YOU with the travel club. We were asked to have breakfast/lunch with representative and we said we didn’t want to, from the start. But we were open to the tour. When we told the representative we didn’t want to have lunch, they flipped and asked us to leave the travel club building without the tour. So that’s that. Drinks were okay. Not enough “carritos” to get us around My boyfriend fell on the floor and hurt his knee, we asked for a first aid kit. There is none. I then asked for disinfectant and a bandaid. Butler told us the hotel doesn’t have any and if they did have it he could not give us due to “health safety” issues. He was also on his dinner break so it took us near an hour to tell us he couldn’t give us anything. I let it go then, but the next day, the more I thought about it, the more upset I got. I reported it to our main butler who told us it was not acceptable and because it’s not a medication, just a bandaid, there shouldn’t be a problem that he gave us a bandaid if they had one and that the hotel most likely has some. Also, the rooms have no emergency/safety call like in most hotels, they have a red cord you pull in case you hurt yourself. Had my boyfriend fell and hit his head and passed out I wouldn’t have gotten any help.

The beach and pool areas were very beautiful and we did like our boat excursion.

We had ants in our first room and a loud AC that was about to go, so we switched rooms. The secret pool was filthy with bird/goose poop. There are sales people EVERYWHERE. From massages, to photos with parrots, to even someone selling hookah in the water at a sandbar. A friend also was hospitalized due to the food.

The staff are hit or miss. Most everyone was delightful, like Dianna at the premium experience poolside guest supporter. Coffee at breakfast was always a challenge. The sheets could be upgraded. Overall, the experience was relaxing, enjoyable, and fun. We will probably be back. The food was also surprisingly very good. We stayed at Casa de Campo first, and we thought the food was just as good, if not better.

Rude staff at the reception ( especially one lady who thinks she is made of better stuff then you! Dirty plates at lunch bar and at breakfast. The room was made up for 1 person we had to ask every day for 2nd set of towels. But the main thing was NO WATER pressure in the bathroom - reported it to staff and finally on our leaving day they responded - we couldn't take a proper shower for two reasons 1. the water pressure was minimal so you couldn't wash anything off like shower ger never mind the sand and 2. the water was boiling hot!
