Blue Corals Beach Resort

The location was beautiful, right by the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. It was a great place to stay and enjoy Malapascua Island

The rooms could use some improvements and better maintenance, but overall it did not affect my experience too much

Alojamiento en 1a línea de playa, bonito y con amplias habitaciones con todo lo necesario. El personal es muy amable, las chicas te ofrecen toda la ayuda posible y hacen que tu estancia sea perfecta. Nos hicieron un upgrade gratuito a una mejor habitación a la reservada. Muy ricos desayunos, y lo mejor, te lo preparan para llevar en tus días de buceo, eligiendo el día anterior tu menú. Repetiré seguro, esta isla me ha robado un trocito de mi corazón

Beautiful place, balcony with amazing sea view, very spacious, big beds, small table and cabin, perfect room for us Super helpful staff, it was right on the beach and had some great cafes and restaurants walking distance. They have a diving club near the resort, we took dives with them, very good and professional

They didn't have a generator, and we experienced a 24 hours power outage, and it was very hot They were super fair and offered a refund for the day with no electricity

Our bubgalow was one of the few that didn’t have AC

El personal súper agradable, la ubicación es maravillosa y todo cerca incluso del puerto.

l’hôtel est bien situé. Prenez absolument la vue mer car les autres chambres ne sont pas correctes. Petit dej plutôt basique mais bon.

l’odeur dans la salle de petit déjeuner : odeur de chien mouillé. Les chiens des rues viennent dormir toute la journée à l’intérieur. Les chambre standards sont au dessus des sanitaires du personnel qui dégagent une mauvaises odeur. Ainsi que beaucoup de déchets et des Clim faisant un bruit énorme. Coupure d’électricité de 8h à 19h. On vous dira que c’est de 8h à 10h mais c’est faux c’est le seul hôtel de l’île qui n’a pas de générateur quand l’électricité est coupé. Vous pouvez trouver un hôtel mieux pour un prix un tout petit peu supérieur je vous le conseille

Sehr gute Lage direkt am Meer, in der Nähe der Fähre und von zahlreichen Restaurants und Tauchcentern. Frühstück auch für früh aufstehende TaucherInnen möglich. Interner Laundry Service vorhanden. Dazugehörendes Tauchcenter sehr zu empfehlen. Zimmer sind simpel ohne Schnickschnack, aber ausreichend.

Klimaanlage ist recht altmodisch und ziemlich laut.

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind super. Auch das Personal ist super freundlich, es war auch kein Problem für Sie das Frühstück bereits um 5 Uhr morgens für uns vorzubereiten (da wir tauchen gegangen sind).

Es gab leider über knapp 2 Tage einen Stromausfall. Es wurde uns angeboten, dass wir das Hotel wechseln können, da es noch unklar war, wie lange der Stromausfall anhalten wird. Alternativ können wir auch bleiben und es werden die Stromkosten anteilig erstattet. Wir haben uns für letztere Option entschieden, da wir sowieso in 2 Tagen abgereist sind, allerdings haben wir trotz Nachfrage im Nachhinein kein Geld erstattet bekommen. Die Zimmer sind außerdem sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast selection is good. The location is excellent—right in front of the beach with clear water and white sand, and just a short walk from the port. The rooms are spacious, though they could use some upgrade/ maintenance.

The rooms are not properly maintained, with visible cracks and broken tiles. The air conditioner in our room was also very noisy, and the bathroom faucet was leaking. The restaurant near the resort was disappointing as well—the food was overpriced and not good.

The property was very good value, the staff were so unbelievably friendly and helpful and the views talk for themselves! We even got upgraded to a sea view and free breakfasts!

Everything was perfect!

Bon emplacement, hôtel fonctionnel avec un petit déjeuner. Il ya la possibilité d’avoir le petit déjeuner plus tôt si on a une plongée et également la possibilité de prendre une douche le dernier jour après le Check-out. Personne adorable !

Their generator was broken. I know the island has a 2 hour blanket brown out but the resort's generator was also not working resulting in extended brown outs.

Cool older hotel vibes. Amazing location, staff were so friendly and helpful, they clean the rooms regularly - so nice to have clean floors and towels all the time. The breakfast pancakes were delicious and they do breakfast takeaway even if you have super early dives. Loved the hammocks!

きれいな設備でスタッフは皆親切だった。早朝ダイビングのためにテイクアウトの朝食を用意してくれた。メインビーチの端にあるのでレストランやダイビングショップからは少し歩くがその分、静かな環境を楽しめる。デラックスルームはオーシャンビューでよかった。支払いもカードが使えて便利だった

滞在中なんども停電になり、暑い中冷房なしで過ごさなければならなかったのは少し辛かったが、リゾートのせいというより、島のインフラの問題かなと。

Good location and helpful staff

We werden welkom geheten door onwijs lieve mensen! Ontbijtpakket wordt voor je geregeld als je vroeg in de moet duiken, toen we al uitgecheckt waren werd er een kamer voor ons gemaakt zodat we nog konden douchen na het duiken én de staff is er voor alle tips van het eiland. De ligging is ideaal, dichtbij alle duikscholen en bij de haven. Kortom: een aanrader!

Het eiland had iedere ochtend tussen 8 - 10 op bepaalde plekken een 'shut down' waardoor de airco's dan niet werkten. Je werd dan dus wel wakker van de hitte, maar hier kon het hotel niets aan doen. De wifi werkte niet goed op onze kamers.

La ubicación en la misma playa y menos de 10 minutos del ferry. Al lado está la playa para hacer snorkel con tiburones punta negra. Las chicas de recepción muy amables y simpáticas.

Un poco de calor en la habitación pero cogimos la habitación con ventilador.

Lovely resort. I stayed in Bungalow 1 and it's literally on the beach. It's quiet with little passing traffic. The beach in front of the hotel is less busy with boats than the main beach so it's nice. Hammocks are great although locals are constantly in them so you get little chance to try it. Breakfast was nice although I wish there was a juice that was included as I do not drink tea of coffee.

The wifi was awful. I barely got 30 mins of working wifi in 3 days there. The constant powercuts is not something I was aware of before staying. The power goes off every day at 8-10am and then again for most of the afternoon. That means if you're wanting a lie in after not diving, you're woken up at about 8:03 when the room starts to boil due to lack of aircon.

I love the location. It was located nicely on a little point with its own tiny beach and area to relax with hammocks tied to the trees. also, the free breakfast that we got very nice quite a bit of food and tasted good.

It was a nice place to stay, but if you have a hard time walking or you’re older, you have a bunch of steps to climb every day to get to your room.

Amazing view, nice beach and great restaurants around the corner. Definitely much much better that those expensive resorts as you can not hear any roosters and dogs at night or in the morning at 4AM. Great breakfast, even served before 5 AM for divers

Très bien situé (proche de tous les centres de plongée et des activités de l'île). Le petit-déjeuner est très bon, avec une mention spéciale pour les pancakes à la mangue / banane (possible de l'avoir en take away pour les plongée matinale donc super). Le personnel est également très accueillant et gentil !

L’hôtel est très vétuste, avec des signes visibles de moisissure et une salle de bain qui mériterait d’être entièrement rénovée. La propreté laisse également à désirer, avec la présence de cafards dans les espaces communs et la salle de bain. Cela peut sans doute expliquer le prix, mais il est important de le savoir avant de réserver. Voyageant seule et étant principalement là pour plonger, j’y ai passé peu de temps, ce qui rendait le séjour acceptable. En revanche, en couple ou en famille, je n’aurais clairement pas apprécié les lieux : cela ne donne pas envie d’y rester. Par ailleurs, la “plage privée” est en réalité occupée toute la journée par des vendeurs qui s’installent sur les hamacs, ce qui enlève totalement le côté privé.

Situated right at the start of the Main Beach Avenue, and run by super friendly staff. The terrace bar is always great for a couple of cocktails in the afternoon and the sunset from the balcony is stunningly beautiful. Room was clean.

Großartiges Personal in einer liebevollen Unterkunft, welche mit toller Lage punkten kann. Frühstück konnte auch für take away geordert werden,da ich früh zum tauchen bin. (05:15). Generell wurde mir immer weitergeholfen!

Strom ging leider die meiste Zeit nicht und der Wasserdruck könnte etwas höher sein, aber beides passiert auf kleineren Inseln häufiger.

El hotel queda a solo unos 5 minutos caminando del puerto donde uno llega desde Maya. La sala de desayuno es perfecta para sentarse a trabajar con vista al mar. También tienes espacio afuera para colgar tu ropa. Buena relación calidad-precio.

El aire acondicionado es viejo y puedo ser ruidoso.

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr schöne Lage, zudem günstiger Preis. Gemessen daran ist die Unterkunft für budgetbewusste Reisende eine sehr gute Option trotz recht kleinem Bungalow.

Leider gab es 2 Tage einen Stromausfall und es gab zum (einfachen) Frühstück ausschließlich löslichen Kaffee.

The mattress was a little thin and our air conditioner stopped, however that was corrected by moving us to another accommodation which we do appreciate.

The location of Blue Corals is perfect for diving [Thresher sharks & Gato Island recommended]. The hotel is not luxurious but exactly what I expected.

Anreise: Wir sind mit einem gebuchten PKW von Cebu ans Maya New Port gekommen. Am Pier bezahlt man 140 Peso für die Inselbenutzung, 5 Peso für den Hafen und 240 Peso für das Boot per Person. Für einen Obolus tragen Einheimische das Gepäck, auch auf der Insel Malapascua, worüber wir sehr dankbar waren, denn auf der Insel landet man in der Regel direkt am Sandstrand, wo natürlich keine Koffer gezogen werden können. Im Blue Corals Beach Resort hatten wir das Garten Bungalow gebucht. Die Service Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das inkludierte Frühstück war erwartbar überschaubar, welches man anhand einer Karte auswählen konnte. Lage ist sehr gut vom Hotel, da direkt am Strand und mit einem gemieteten Roller für 500 Peso am Tag, kann man gut die ganze Insel erkunden. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ebenso in der Nähe.

Unser "Superior" Bungalow war leider nicht wirklich der Beschreibung wert. Sehr klein (kleiner als die angegebenen 24 qm!) und sehr einfach. Die winzige Terrasse vor dem Zimmer liegt mitten im Durchgang ohne jegliche Privatsphäre. Durch den Riesenspalt unten an der Tür kommen nachts regelmäßig Tausendfüßler ins Zimmer, auf die man Gefahr läuft drauf zu treten, wenn man nicht die Zimmerlampe, die aus einer nackten Glühbirne an der Decke bestand, an hat. Es fehlte ein Toilettenpapierhalter und der eigentlich in der Zimmerbeschreibung inkludierte Wasserkocher mussten wir uns beim Service erbetteln. Ebenso hat das Zimmer keinen Safe, keinen Haartrockner und auch keine kostenlosen Pflegeprodukte, obwohl dies alles in der Beschreibung steht. Beim nächsten mal würden wir woanders buchen.

Il y a un problème avec l'eau , elle sent les œufs pourris. Cette odeur ce disperse dans tout la chambre ce qui rend le séjour moins agréable mais je suis persuadé que les propriétaires feront de leur mieux pour régler la situation. Autre que ça, tout est parfait

The staff in the hotel are very friendly and the room was cleaned every day if asked. Toiletries such as shampoo and soap and toilet paper can be obtained every day from reception. The breakfast is very good and it is great to be able to have it as a take away if you need to leave earlier for diving . Location is fantastic, just at one end of Bounty Beach, which makes it a quiet spot and having access to the beach loungers below, very pleasant. It is also quite close to the port, only about 5/10 minutes walk.

The hotel needs an overall renovation and upkeep. The room is relatively small, and has limited storage / hanging space. We had a problem with a bad smell in the bathroom. While maintenance looked at it a couple if times, it did not fully clear.

La ubicacion del hotel es increible y las vistas desde nuestra habitacion tambien. Las habitaciones como se ve en las fotos, no son las mas actualizadas, pero le ganan las vistas.

La habitacion y el baño no es lo mas lujoso del mundo, pero en las fotos lo ves. Como comento arriba, le gana las vistas

La location del hotel, proprio sul mare è davvero bellissima e molto vicina al centro. Il personale è fantastico e preparano la colazione molto presto per chi esce prima. Peccato per la struttura molto vecchia. Io avevo Un bungalow nel retro, magari le stanze con vista mare sono migliori. Ma il mio bungalow non era chissà che. Muri sporchi tra macchie e insetti uccisi sulle pareti, il comodino cadeva a pezzi e il climatizzatore per cui si paga è una piccola ventola. Altra pecca è la doccia senza muri che bagna tutto il pavimento e persino il gabinetto. In generale si può dire che è una struttura okay e se dovessi tornare, ci tornerei solamente per la gentilezza dal personale. Penso che ci siano altre strutture valide da considerare sennò

Todo estaba bastante sucio. Para ser el hotel más caro hasta ahora, me esperaba más, la verdad. Había pelos en el baño, en la cama, y el colchón olía como a pis y lo cambiamos por el otro de la otra cama. El baño lleno de hormigas. Pasamos dos noches y la primera el ruido de fuera era insoportable (quizás un generador de electricidad que igual ni era del hotel, ni idea, pero bueno, teníamos tapones).
