Jasmin Villa

I had the best time staying with Jasmin & her family. Very warm welcome arriving late in the evening and served a lovely home cooked meal. Jasmin and Stanley were so welcoming, gave good tips, helped me explore during my 2 days in Fort Kochi. Also met some fellow travellers coming and going. Its about a 15 minute walk to the busy streets - I walked all hours of the day but for others its easy to order transport. Do see the Kathakali. Next time if I come I will also take a cooking class with Jasmin. Good AC, nice fresh bathroom, quite street. Breakfast was 10/10

I had an amazing time at Jasmine's homestay. The room was very comfortable and I liked the location as you can see some local life around it. It's very easy to walk to the center. Jasmine and her whole family are very welcoming. I enjoyed breakfast and dinner and can only recommend it, if you want to try freshly made authentic local cuisine. Her husband gave me super good recommendations what to explore in the center. I will come back.

Mijn verblijf bij Villa Jasmin was geweldig! De kamer was super mooi en schoon en het eten was echt heel erg lekker en super divers. Ik heb nergens anders gegeten in Kochi want wilde elke dag weer genieten van haar lekkere maaltijd! Het allerfijnste was dat ik me heel erg thuis voelde doordat Jasmin en Stanley super vriendelijk waren en altijd klaar stonden om te helpen of gewoon even gezellig te kletsen, maar ze lieten mij ook mijn eigen ding doen. Ik heb ook samen met Jasmin een traditionele sari gedragen en zij heeft me veel verteld over de cultuur. De locatie is goed, met een kleine wandeling ben je zo in fort Kochi. Ik kom graag ooit weer eens terug!

We stayed for 3 nights with Jasmin, Stanley and their family and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jasmin and Stanley welcomed us so warmly into their home. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jasmin made the most incredible South Indian breakfasts, which changed daily and we're better than anything you could buy in a restaurant. Stanley is so knowledgeable about staying in Kerala, and has been working in tourism for decades. He has excellent relationships with local businesses and always gave us great recommendations for what to do and where to go for the best bargain. He organised a backwaters tour and cooking class for us, which we would highly recommend. We were lucky enough to stay during Onam, and they dressed us in the traditional clothes and shared a delicious Onam feast with us for dinner. We would also like to thank Robbie for his kindness and how thoughtful he was to make our stay special. We felt like they are our family in Kerala, and we can't wait to come back.

I recently completed a 6-night solo stay at this property and had an excellent experience. The rooms are highly comfortable and well-maintained. Additionally, They are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and attentive to guest needs. The complimentary breakfast was also a wonderful highlight each morning. The overall atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I would gladly stay here again.

Jasmin et Wilson nous ont incroyablement bien accueilli dans leur HomeStay ! Ils ont tout arrangé pour nous (coiffeur, ongles et ATM) en nous amenant sur place en scooter ou en nous discutant avec les locaux. Leur logement est très confortable et a tout ce qu'il faut.

We had a great stay at Jasmin Villa! Jasmin, Stanley and Robbie were fantastic hosts, they made you feel like family rather than guests. Every morning a wonderful breakfast was prepared for us, Jasmin also made us a fantastic dinner with so many delicious dishes! The location was great and the room was beautiful, so comfy and clean. I have no faults with this place.

J’ai passé 4 jours chez Jasmin Vila à Cochin, et je ne peux que recommander cette adresse. La chambre était agréable, parfaitement propre et équipée d’une literie de grande qualité. L’environnement est calme et l’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Cochin. Les petits-déjeuners et les dîners préparés par Jasmin sont tout simplement délicieux, généreux et faits avec beaucoup de soin. Un vrai régal ! si vous avrz le temps, je vous recommande aussi le cours de cuisine local avec Jasmin Mais ce qui rend ce lieu vraiment exceptionnel, ce sont ses hôtes. Leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur aide m’ont été précieuses tout au long de mon séjour. Grâce à leurs précieux conseils et à leur accueil chaleureux, j’ai pu profiter pleinement de Cochin en toute sérénité. Jasmin and Stanley Wilson were incredible hosts. We ate breakfast and dinner at the villa, and both were amazing, with a great variety of Kerala dishes. Stanley Wilson provided us with fantastic advice on what to do in Kochi and in Kerala—he booked Kathakali dance tickets for us and connected us with tour guides in Munnar. We felt very at home at their place. Additionally, the room we stayed in was very clean, and the bathroom was nice. The room had good AC and it was a great location for seeing Fort Kochi.

Mein Aufenthalt in der Jasmine Villa war einfach unvergesslich. Schon bei meiner Ankunft habe ich mich sofort willkommen und umsorgt gefühlt. Jasmine und Robin durfte ich leider nur kurz kennenlernen, aber auch in dieser kurzen Zeit habe ich ihre Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Großzügigkeit deutlich gespürt. Die meiste Zeit wurde ich von Stanley betreut – und ich kann wirklich sagen, dass er meinen Aufenthalt ganz besonders gemacht hat. Er war unglaublich aufmerksam, hat jeden meiner Wünsche erfüllt und war immer zur Stelle, wenn ich etwas brauchte. Mit großer Hingabe hat er mir alles gezeigt, wertvolle Tipps gegeben und dafür gesorgt, dass es mir an nichts fehlt. Seine Herzlichkeit und Großzügigkeit haben mich tief berührt. Man merkt, dass hier Menschen mit echtem Engagement und Wärme arbeiten, die ihren Gästen nicht nur einen Aufenthalt, sondern ein echtes Zuhausegefühl schenken. Ich bin sehr dankbar für diese Erfahrung und kann die Jasmine Villa von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

We had an excellent stay at Jasmin Villa including delicious dinner and breakfast. Stanley and Jasmin were lovely and very accommodating in letting us leave our luggage and use their facilities before our flight after we checked out. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the various activities they organise. Thank you!

Nuestra experiencia en casa de Jasmin y su familia ha sido de 10. Jasmin es una persona increíblemente hospitalaria que te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Si hay que destacar algo eso es sin duda la comida. Cocina espectacular, sobretodo sus platos de pescado: frescos, variados y absolutamente deliciosos. Además, tuvo el detalle de adaptarse a nuestros problemas intestinales, lo cual agradecimos muchísimo. También queremos destacar su amabilidad y flexibilidad: nuestro vuelo de vuelta salía tarde y nos permitió ducharnos y prepararnos antes de ir al aeropuerto, un gesto que marca la diferencia. Como detalle muy especial, me dio la oportunidad de ponerme su sari, lo que fue una experiencia increíble y muy auténtica que recordaré siempre. La casa es preciosa, muy limpia, con todas las comodidades y un ambiente familiar muy acogedor. Está ubicada en una zona tranquila y muy cerca de Fort Kochi, lo que la hace perfecta para explorar la zona y descansar a la vez. Si buscas un lugar donde comer bien, sentirte cuidado y disfrutar de una estancia auténtica, este es el sitio ideal. Sin duda, repetiríamos al 100%. Si volvemos a Kochi, ya sabemos dónde quedarnos.

The villa is located centrally to major attractions in Fort kochi. If you like running in a ground or just around the city you'll love it. We'll fondly remember our stay at Jasmin Villa.

Such a fantastic place to stay in Kochi. A lovely family who looked after us very well. Fabulous food and service! A very short tuk tuk drive to Jew Town and Kochi beach. We cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.

This is the place for food lovers, everything was very tasty and varied, breakfast and dinner were a treat. Jasmin is a lovely host and all the family were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Everywhere was clean, a good shower and a comfy bed. Stanley's boat tour on the back waters was a great relaxing day out.

It was a 10/10 staying here. This is exactly the kind of place my partner and I had hoped to find when coming to kochi. I was convinced by the reviews to book here and they absolutely lived up to the endless positive things other travelers have shared. A few highlights for us: 1/ It’s very quiet and safe in her neighbor and walking to town (a nice 20 min walk). 2/ Jazmin, her husband Stanley, and her brother Robby are incredible kind, warm, and hospitable. We felt very taken care of and they helped us with any questions we had. 3/ Jazmin made the BEST homemade Indian dishes! She is an amazing cook and even has a cooking class you can do with her. The food is amazing here. 4/ The rooms were very clean, had comfortable bed/pillows, great shower, and a super nice garden/side room. The rooms have elevated characteristics to them that gives them charm and personality, which we loved. The photos don’t do this place justice! We were delightfully surprised and highly recommend this homestay.

Jasmin, Stanely and their whole family are warm hearted people that have opened their house to guests with all their heart. Everything was smooth, and after long travel in India this was our last stop , and it ended up exaclty like feeling being at home. Jasmin with her amazing home cooked food, and always happy to help with all of our nutritional requests. Stanley very thorough in guiding us in all the questions we had and available to organise and help in many activities. I am very happy we get to know them and for sure we will be back in the future. Robin est même allé chercher un gâteau pour nous car je voulais faire une surprise à mon amie pour son anniversaire! La sortie dans les backwater était super étalement. Un séjour de 3 nuits parfait pour se detendre après 12 jours intenses en Inde du Nord. Merci pour tout

Jasmin and her family were lovely people, they were really helpful and went our of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The house was comfortable with a nice outdoor seating area for meals. There was a lovely garden and our room had a nice balcony over the garden. The food was excellent, we ate breakfast and dinner there which we really enjoyed. Jasmin is a really good cook, she was happy to cater for individual tastes and provided a real spread of different dishes. It was a short tuk tuk ride into Fort Kochin, we enjoyed coming back here to relax after a busy day sight seeing.

Felt like a home away from home. Great location in fort kochi. Homely clean rooms. And the best of all we were really taken care of like we were part of the family. I had to have my wisdom teeth removed whilst I was in kochi and so was feeling a bit sore and run down afterwards. The family cooked us gorgeous breakfasts and dinners and catered to my needs of soft food. Food was delicious! We were throughly taken care of, always offering to assist us in anything we needed, truly exceptional hospitality. Thank you for everything we had a lovely stay, couldn’t recommend more!

I have returned to Jasmin Villa for the second time, drawn back by the warmth of the welcome and the genuine sense of belonging I feel here. Jasmin, Stanley, Robbie and Enoch make you feel truly at home—it’s like being part of their family. The food continues to be absolutely superb, each meal lovingly prepared with authentic flavours that always impress me. Their kindness and helpfulness go beyond expectations, whether it’s arranging outings or simply sharing stories over delicious meals. This morning, Jasmin even dressed me in a beautiful saree, which was such a special and memorable experience. On my last night here, she thoughtfully made one of my favourite dinners, adding a truly personal touch to my stay. I’m already planning to return next month for another short stay before my holiday ends. Jasmin Villa will always be my sanctuary in Kochi!

The room was large with a nice furnished balcony. The Bath was dry with hot water and a huge shower. The bed was comfy. The whole place was sparkling clean. The food was very good. I did also have dinner which was lovely. The location is charming, nice for walking. It is a quick tuk tuk ride to anywhere. There is a family travel business who will help you, w zero pressure. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room and bathroom were excellent. Jasmin and her family were very welcoming and kind. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast here as well as getting involved in some Onam celebrations!

It was very good authetic Kerala breakfast deliciously prepared. Breakfast was eat as much you want. Staff was more than prepared to answer your questions. Robin, the Tarzan was always ever willing to help. My great admiration for him. Wilson and Jasmin were exceptional host

Jasmin Villa Homestay truly feels like a home away from home for everyone but especially for me on my first solo adventure. Jasmin, Stanley, Robin and Enoch(the card player😃) welcomed me like family and always made sure I was comfortable, arranging outings so I never felt alone and ensuring I experienced local Kochi life. Having nearly every meal here, I can definitely say the food is consistently delicious—homestyle and suited even for longer stays. It’s the perfect start for anyone visiting India for the first time; the kindness and attention to detail here helped me settle in quickly and look forward to returning before I leave! I am so lucky I chose to stay here. I really did feel like part of the family. I have already rebooked. Make sure to do the cookery class with Jasmin. The dosas are to die for !

In questa Homestay offrono la possibilità di escursioni in giornata perché si appoggiano ad un'agenzia per visitare Munnar e Alleppey. La proprietaria organizza corsi di cucina e cene deliziose condivise con altri viaggiatori. L'atmosfera che si crea è davvero piacevole e internazionale. Non potevamo concludere meglio il nostro viaggio nel sud dell'India.

We had such a wonderful stay with Stanley, Jasmin, and her brother Robbie – they welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. Our room was beautiful and cozy, with a spacious bathroom – and both were without doubt the cleanest we’ve had during our travels in India. One evening we were lucky enough to enjoy Jasmin’s cooking: a table full of fantastic South Indian dishes, all absolutely delicious. Every morning she also prepared a lovely breakfast for us, the perfect start to the day. The neighborhood is very pleasant, just outside the busy center of Fort Kochi, which made it both peaceful and convenient. We truly felt at home here and can wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.

Hemos estado con mi pareja en Jasmin House y la experiencia ha sido magnifica. La habitación esta muy limpia y es tal y como se muestra en las fotos. Tambien esta muy cerca de todo y es una zona muy tranquila. Ademas los desayunos son espectaculares y si teneis la opción de cenar los platos de Jasmin no dudeis en hacerlo. Son buenisimos. La cortesia dei padroni di casa, la buonissima cena preparata da Jasmine e non potendo fare colazione la mattina dopo ci hanno preparato un sacchetto co la colazione, un bellissimo pensiero. Camera pulita, doccia calda e un bel terrazzino.

Everything was perfect. The room and the bathroom were extremely clean and had a good size. The homestay is good located, quite close to the main points of interest of Cochin. And Jasmin and Stanley make you feel like at home. Besides, she's a very good cooker, so breakfast was amazing (different everyday and with several typical Indian traditional meals).

I stayed at Jasmine Villa Cochin for 4 days and had such a great experience! The host family was super friendly and helpful—they even helped me plan my sightseeing, which made things really smooth. The rooms were very clean, cozy, and beautifully kept. It really felt like a comfortable home away from home. The food was a big highlight. The lady of the house made some incredible seafood dishes with super fresh fish. And the breakfasts were king-sized—tasty and very filling! Overall, it was a warm, relaxing stay and I’d definitely recommend Jasmine Villa to anyone visiting Cochin. Would love to come back someday!

Gemütliches Homestay mit schönen Zimmern und grosszügigen neu renovierten Bädern. Alle Zimmer haben einen kleinen Balkon und ich habe es in der Regenzeit sehr genossen, vom geschützten Balkon aus das Treiben in der schmalen Nebenstrasse zu beobachten. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist per Tuk Tuk alles in und um Fort Kochi in max. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Jasmin und Stanley hatten viele spannende Tips für Kochi und das Essen von Jasmin und ihrem Bruder Robin war schlichtweg ein Traum. Ich hatte mir Fischcurry gewünscht und wurde mit einer ganzen Tafel von Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt! Und zum Frühstück hab ich nichts gebraucht außer Jasmins knusprigen Dosas mit den selbstgemachten Chutneys… Mein Aufenthalt war leider recht kurz, aber beim nächsten Mal werde ich unbedingt einen Kochkurs mit Jasmin buchen. Stanley bietet mit seiner Agentur Wilson Tours auch Touren und Ausflüge in die Umgebung an, bei denen er auf ökologische und ethische Vertretbarkeit Wert legt, leider ist mir all dies erst zu Ende meines Aufenthalts in der Region Kochi begegnet. Comfortable family home with guest rooms in a beautiful, quiet lane.

Jasmin and Stanley are amazing hosts! We felt very welcomed to their home and they did so much to make sure we were comfortable. Stanley is a wealth of information and arranged some great experiences for us at an affordable cost. He also gave us excellent shopping suggestions. Jasmin is such a great chef. We preferred her meals over any restaurant! The house is clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom is fantastic. Cochin is a lovely area that we would recommend visiting !

Local Laundry services were quite expensive -- even more than in the US. I'd recommend doing laundry by hand instead. Not a big deal, though!

Hospitality provided by Jasmin & Robin is one of the best in this business. Homemade food provided by them is too good Rooms are very clean and traditional Since the rooms did not have tv, when I requested for a tv, they provided me with their own tv for 3 nights which really showed how kind and humble they are .

One of the best places to stay in Kochi. The room was super clean and spacious. Jazmín and her team made me feel at home and they were always very kind and helpful. I would definitely come back and I recommend it 100%

We couldn’t have found a better place than Jasmin and her family’s home for our short stay in Kochi! We felt at home with such a lovely and warm family. The property offers very nice and comfortable rooms, and the best breakfast we’ve had since the beginning of our trip! A must-try for a local and memorable experience in Kochi!

A great home stay run by 2 great people Jasmine and Stanley, ably assisted by a young man. (Sorry forgotten his name). The location is ideal for Kochi, walkable for the fit and able or a short Tuk-tuk ride. The breakfasts are superb, different every day and enjoyably shared with other visitors. Stanley can organise trips, tours and transport, but his wife Jasmine runs the most amazing cookery classes, a real must for any foodies.

Bonjour. What a stay ! We came in Jasmine 'so home for our 2 last days of our trip. 2 ad3and 3 teenagers. All was far beyond our expectations : rooms clean and well equipped, location, and above all, the kidless of Jasmine and family. I will never forget the moments we spent together to talk or to play football 😎. Not to forget the saris. For the food, it think it was one of the best meals we had. Allez-y les yeux fermés, c'est trop bien. Bertrand.

- Jasmin and Stanley welcome you into their home with open arms, this is such a special place with a relaxed, comfortable vibe. We left feeling renewed and happy! - The food is amazing, Jasmin is an amazing cook. We tried so many local Keralan foods like stuffed squid. We ate dinner here every night because we didn’t want to go anywhere else. It was also so nice to sit round the table and chat to Jasmin and the other guests. - The room exceeded expectations - big, clean, comfortable, big bathroom. Slept so well here! - They helped us organise activities such as a backwaters tour and Kathakali dance, which were both brilliant. But they organised them both for us and we didn’t have to lift a finger. - Great location, can walk to local town in about 20 mins

Nothing we didn’t like!

Jasmin's melodious laugh is infectious.  Her, Stanley (her husband), Robbie (her brother) and Enoch (her son) are the most obliging hosts that you could wish for - so helpful (laundry, train tickets) and welcoming (big smiles & many lovely cups of milky tea).  Our AC room was very good, with a huge bed and huge bathroom.  And a terrace but we preferred to chill in the dining area next to the garden. Tuktuks to town are 50 to 100 rupees. After hearty breakfasts, we spent our days exploring Fort Cochi and then returned for delicious feasts for supper and chats with other travellers. Do not miss Jasmin's generous and scrumptious evening meals! They are different every night. We loved her soups, mango tuna curry and chicken curry (with coconut and cashew paste). Jasmin's Villa will make your stay in Fort Cochi very pleasant and memorable.  The family is clearly proud of their home and her cooking, and she is indeed the hostess with the mostest!

I liked everything about Jasmin villa!!!! What a superb stay ! Room extremely clean Great size Nearby to all amenities Breakfast and dinner WOW, Jasmin is the best chef of all Kerala , lots of variety. Jasmin and Stanley are very accommodating! Exceptional hospitality by Jasmin, Stanley and Robin, they made us feel like home even though we stayed just for a night. The rooms were very clean, bathroom was amazing, overall a very good value for money stay. A suprising bonus was that Jasmin cooked for us traditional Kerala dinner and breakfast, which was really delicious! We really appreciated the gesture. We will definitely come back!

The room was big and we decorated nicely and the bathroom was the best we had in India.
