It was a short walk to the beach. They provided drinking water in the room.

Stayed one night. Cancelled the rest of our booking. It was run down and really grubby. The bedding and bathroom towels were laundry grey and stained. The shower head was mouldy. The bathroom sink took forever to drain. The curtains, lamp shades and couch were grubby and stained. The pot and pan provided in the kitchenette were dirty. The outside area was facing a wall with air conditioning units overhead. The sun lounger cushions were old and dirty.

Excellent emplacement à 5 minutes de la plage à pied, le centre commercial Icon Bali est accessible à 25 min à pied ou à 7 min en taxi. Le lit était plutôt confortable.

La propreté de la chambre notamment des sanitaires. Pas de gel douche et le pommeau de douche était abîmé.

Koelkast op de slaapkamer. Alles was in orde

Amazing, friendly and genuinely kind staff - amazing service, nice pool with comfy loungers. Loved the extra room with table and chairs in the suite room - no 10 - best room in the complex. Restaurant served well priced lovely food - surprised it wasn’t busier as had the best banana split and spring rolls anywhere in sanur. Aircon worked really well. Bed was very comfy.

A deep clean in the bathroom would be beneficial. The sofa did not look clean and needs replacing. Towels have seen better days but were clean. Apart from these they definitely would deserve a 10. These points would not stop me from staying again or recommending this lovely place they are just some constructive criticism which would make it perfect !!

I was very happy to stay in this family-run small hotel. I was picked up form the airport for extra cost, so I avoided all the hassle at the airport. The room was big, actually two rooms, and clean. The breakfast was tasty and the location was perfect just few hundred meters from the Sanur beach. In the early morning I went to walk on the beach boulevard and swimming in the ocean.

Staff, pool and size of bed (really big and comfy). Location perfect for beach and nightlife.

The room could have been swept better, a bit dusty overall.

Номер большой, но изношенный. В туалете был очень грязное сидение унитаза. Я понимаю, что оно обработано, но все равно это некомфортно. Ящик у раковины не держится в закрытом положении и постоянно открывается. Одна тумбочка у кровати была плохо закреплена.

Location is fantastic! Steps to the beach and loads of restaurants, cafes, bars and warungs.

Room too small for two open suitcases. We cleaned the air conditioning filters…room smelt mouldy and could have done with a deep clean. Cancelled another booking we had made here for later in our holiday.

I like everything, staff, nice clean room, I like the location, and now has a restaurant which is great.

It’s a great hotel. The bed was comfortable and tge room was clean. Great ac and a small fridge. It’s walking distance to the beach.

Rien à voir avec les photos prises en close up et les avis qui sont dithyrambiques. Je ne comprends pas. Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit heureusement, mais les photos laissent penser qu’on va avoir une chambre autour de la piscine, or en haut c’est vraiment moins beau, le couloir est petit et aseptisé et raisonne à fond ! Du coup nous avons été réveillés plusieurs fois pendant la nuit par des voisins indélicats qui hurlaient et claquaient les portes, soir et matin. Aucune isolation phonique de la chambre, on entend la moindre chose, très dommage pour un lieu où on est censé se reposer. La chambre était en bien moins bon état que sur les photos : pommeau de douche marron et calcaire, fenêtres de SDB crasseuses et pas de vitre (voilà pk on étendait les gens dans le couloir), siège de toilettes tout bullé et marronasse, meuble de chevet qui se détache du mur, fissure au mur, plein de traces noires et de doigts partout, tous les tiroirs restaient ouverts parce que ça penche, petites poubelles sales, taches sur les draps, etc. Et c’est la chambre la plus chère du séjour, x3 par rapport aux beautés que nous avons eu précédemment. Il faut faire des travaux et surtout mettre plus de photos, on ne voit pas les SDB ni l’accueil qui sont complètement vétustes.

Proximity to shops and restaurants

There are some construction works taking place next door so it’s dusty and noisy at the moment.

Centraal gelegen in Sanur. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Leuke, drukke, heel toeristische plaats. Mooie kamer. Prima ontbijt. Vlakbij strand en eetgelegenheden.

Nauwelijks tuin, kleine binnenplaats met wel mooi zwembad. Steek insecten bij ontbijt.

Die Lage ist gut, nur ein kurzer Fußweg zum Sanur Beach und vielen Restaurants.

Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber. In den Bädern lagen noch Haare, die Toilette war schmutzig, die Fliesen und Armaturen ebenfalls. Das Interieur machte einen vernachlässigten Eindruck. Das Stoff-Sofa im Raum war sehr schmutzig genauso wie die Poolliegen. Die Klimaanlage in Suite 11 war sehr laut, die in Raum 12 tropfte innen im Betrieb.

Bardzo sympatyczna, pogodna rodzinka prowadząca ten mały obiekt. Śniadania ok głównie jajka na różne sposoby, kawa czarna parzona w cenie, inna kawa typu cappuccino płatna dodatkowo.

W pokoju nr 1 zapach stęchlizny i wilgoci brak ciepłej wody. Dzieci przychodziły się kąpać do nas. W pokoju typu suite nr 12 przydałaby się pilna wymiana deski sedesowej. Podczas naszej trzytygodniowej podróży i zmiany miejsca średnio co trzy dni bylo to najsłabsze miejsce. W podobnej cenie można uzyskać znacznie lepsze warunki.

接客がよかった。 雰囲気のよい併設レストランで朝食を食べることができた。 レンタルバイクを借りるのに、無理を言って早朝でも対応してくださった。 宿泊代を払わずにチェックアウトしてしまい、後日お支払いしたが、嫌な顔せず対応してくださった。

Great location, great breakfast, friendly staff value for money

Asoka is the best place to stay in Sanur! The location is perfect - so close to the beach and with excellent restaurants nearby. The restaurant in the hotel now is really good as well, with excellent breakfasts. There is a lovely little pool with comfy pool loungers. But the best thing about Asoka is the staff. Every one of them is so lovely and friendly, but a special shout out to Putu! There is a good reason why this little homestay books out long in advance!

Sehr dreckige Zimmer, wir mussten auf unseren Handtüchern schlafen, da das Bettlaken und die Bettdecke sehr viele Flecken aufwiesen. Zudem war das Bad eine Zumutung: die Decke schimmelte, die Dusche ebenfalls und die Klobrille war komplett gelb. Das Waschbecken erschien auch komplett ungenutzt.

Asoka is in a wonderful location! It is owned by a lovely family who takes great care of their guests. We have stayed here before and will always return! They make you feel like family!

Awesome location, literally just a stroll down to the beach Really good value for money and lovely people. Has a cafe downstairs too which was good food.

Bathroom condition very basic. Paid extra for the kitchenette but the kettle had slimy residue inside, staff said they would deal with that but it wasn’t dealt with. Couldn’t boil water as no pots available in the kitchen either so it wasn’t much used to have paid extra for this. Pool is fine, good to refresh in, but the exterior surrounds could be spruced up with some minimal effort of keeping pool cleaning tools etc out of site, and look more inviting. We stay three nights andrequested if late check out was possible, but they said we would need to pay an extra half day for this. We arranged to have laundry done through the hotel, at cost twice as much as we paid in other towns in Bali. Overall Asoka Hotel was a step up from private room in a hostel, and for a the price it was okay enough, but otherwise it did not hit the mark for a three star hotel.

Ce n’était pas propre. J’ai eu l’impression que le ménage n’avait pas été fait. J’ai trouvé une boule de cheveux par terre dans la chambre, le sol pas vraiment propre. Et dans la poubelle de la salle de bain il y a avait un protège slip usagé, comme si la poubelle n’avait pas été vidée.

Only stayed for 2 nights before a late night flight but was good value and clean. We had the twin room which wasn't huge but suited us for what we needed. The pool was nice. The restaurant in the front of the hotel was a stand out. Amazing food at amazing prices. Highly recommend. The beach is also only a short 5 min walk away in one direction with the main street of Sanur so close in the other direction. Fantastic location for the south end of Sanur.

This is a traditional Balinese hotel and the staff were honestly so lovely. The location was great with the beach at one end of the street and fabulous restaurants, massage places at both ends!

I stayed in a downstairs room May 2026 and unfortunately my health was severely affected by the black mould at the property. I suffer awful allergic reactions to mould. I’m saddened to write this review as the location is perfect and the family who own and run this only deserve the best. The mould is as a result of the floods in Sanur in Jan 2026, I left the town completely as all hotels/shops etc were impacted.

En soit, tout était très bien, je dirai qu'il y avait un peu de bruit venant de la salle de bain, mais une fois la porte fermée, le problème était réglé. Légère odeur d'humidité, qui est passée avec la clim allumée.

We absolutely loved it here - and would have extended for two weeks if they weren’t fully booked already. So we just extended for two nights until there was no more space. Spacious room (the suite) with everything you need. Good lighting options throughout, good A/C, clean pool. Some parts are starting to look a bit dated, like the sofa and bathroom - but are in perfect working condition so it doesn’t bother us at all. Staff are lovely and the newly opened restaurant outside serves delicious food. Location is flawless.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, good location and great breakfast.

Cleanliness could definitely be improved, we had a couple of issues with the kitchen area and bedding but the staff were very quick to resolve it when highlighted.

Staying at Asoka is always like "going home". The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, and as always very quiet. The location is fantastic , a short walk from the beach and to the main road where there are lots of eating options. The bed was very comfy and the air conditioning was quiet.

The large shower head is a bit dated and perhaps needs to be replaced.
