We only needed a place to sleep so we were out for most of the days but it was comfortable and clean. The hosts were very kind and informative. Although we took our own towels etc there was everything provided and im sure if we had forgotten something, Gregory would have been able to sort it!

There was a pump or fan or something on the other side of the wall in one of the rooms which went periodically through the night but, I probably only noticed it as im a light sleeper.

Beautiful location

A larger fridge as shared with other guests. Large mirror in bedroom. Pictures on the wall, it was very sparse.

Had everything we needed and had easy access.

The room was very comfortable and warm , easy access all hours , over all a very nice , clean and well equipped. Modern amenities that were well catered and looked after , would definitely stay there again 😀

I’m writing to share a concern regarding my recent booking. I paid for three nights based on the description shown in the property’s advertisement, but what I experienced on arrival was significantly different. This included how we were greeted by the host and the standard of the accommodation, both of which did not match what was advertised. As a result, I cannot recommend this property. I hope the listing is reviewed to ensure future guests are accurately informed.

Would have been a good visit if the weather wasn't so bad.

Would have been good to have a kettle in the room for hot drink.. but as rules say, no drinks in the room. We didn't get time to use the bathroom. We just slept. And then straight away next morning.

The host was very friendly and welcoming . Such a beautiful home with most of the the requirements tended for during our stay, shower was amazing also bed was very comfortable to rest soundly in. Loved the host's accent too...very thorough with explaining details to make our stay that much more comfortable n hassle free.

I think it was missing a t.v in the room otherwise it was a pleasurable stay.. oh and milk for cupa would have been ideal especially because it was terrible weather to out in just to get milk as we arrived later evening. No major at all though

Location & very quiet

Trang and Greg are perfect hosts really wishing the best possible for their guests. We have been staying in so many places in NZ already and defenetlly is this place the best of the best.!!! Its hard to describe in few words - clean, spacious, peaceful,perfect organized.. we could use all the common places and allover there is all prepared for a wellbeing of the guests. We were extremely well taken care of and it was so heartily to chat with them. Defenetlly recommend to stay and we shall come back when we're near. Next ti.e we shall rake also the opportunity of having delicious breakfast.

No negative comment at all!!

We were 2 couples traveling so it was lovely having our own bedrooms & our own hang out space downstairs. The view from the deck was amazing! The host, George, was incredibly accommodating of us using his kitchen / dining area.

The public spaces could have been tidier & there are lots of cobwebs needing to be gotten rid of. A bit of dusting would be good.

Trang and Gregory were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had not realized this was a homestay when I booked, and I booked last-minute as I was driving and too tired to keep going. So when I arrived and realized I was staying at someone's home, I felt terrible! They were out for the night but kindly helped me get inside the house and find my room, and were very kind and welcoming. And the room felt very peaceful. I wish I could have stayed longer!

I didn't realize we could be sharing a communal downstairs area with potentially others in 3 other guest rooms. Toilet, bathroom tiny space to boil a jug.

Good position

Was a comfy and convenient place to stay on our journey north. Trung was a friendly and welcoming host. Highly recommend.

Location was perfect. Did not require breakfast.

There was no lighting in the off street parking area. Would be more safe if there was.

Very accommodating and interesting hosts. Great view of the harbour. The window is at treetop level so got to see birds.

We misunderstood the ad and we had a shared bathroom. It turned out fine as there were few other guests but a shared bathroom was not our preference in a "hotel".

Very last minute booking after a long drive. So late check in which was very easy and host accommodating. The room had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay

From the pictures I thought all rooms had a sea view. But ours didn't.

Unusual to have access to the family’s lounge and kitchen but it felt uncomfortable as the owners were not around. The dog was lovely and keen to share our food! Good communication with the owner prior to our stay with offers to text if we needed anything, with room opening numbers but our room door was open when we arrived anyway. Couldn’t work out how to lock our bedroom door overnight.

Our room had more of a bush view with sea peeks but that was Ok. The photo was misleading as this is the family room and deck. Suggest putting signs on the toilet and bathroom doors as they were closed so we didn’t know where they were initially. We were greeted by a group of other (very friendly) people staying but the owners were out and not there to show us around which would have been nice. Bed and pillow very firm which would suit some. We weren’t told about road works on the street which meant we had to drive round 5 mins to get to it.

The owner was lovely and helpful. Invited me to use the family kitchen. Showed me all the facilities available.

Clean and modern rooms with spectacular views overlooking the water, Host were extremely friendly and hospitable.

A little remote if you don’t have a car however there is a bus stop right outside the property.
