De prachtige uitstraling!! Echt een hele mooie plek ook. Het is een paradijsje 🥰 We hebben genoten!Komen graag nog een keer terug!🤗 Het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De handdoeken en beddengoed waren wel gewassen , maar oogde door de vlekken niet helemaal schoon. Kleine opmerking,maar voor de rest helemaal prima.

Beautiful place, tasteful decor, great location, lovely little private beach. We swam safely off season. Immaculately clean - so nice to have a washing machine & shared kitchen - everything you need. Very helpful owners highly recommend. Lion Bay restaurant next door is great.

I liked the outdoor area, especially the swings and play areas for the children.

What I didn’t like: * The room near the entrance was disappointing and not very clean. * There were cockroaches, including a very large one in the room. * There were insect droppings or other signs of pests. * The mosquito nets were torn and poorly fitted. * The pool water was cloudy. * Breakfast was not included. * The price was very high for the quality of the accommodation. * The owner refused to refund part of the first night despite the issues we experienced.

Die Villa und das komplette Gelände sind wunderschön angelegt. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben dort auch das Frühstück in Anspruch genommen. Wir bekamen viele Tipps für Ausflüge und haben diese auch direkt organisieren lassen, sowie auch die Fahrt zum Flughafen. Im Restaurant gegenüber haben wir zu Abend gegessen.

Das einzige was so langsam erneuert werden sollte sind die Matratzen, diese waren ziemlich durchgelegen.

We stayed at this lovely beachfront hotel for 1 night only as we were traveling back to Colombo from Arugambay. Overall the stay was great, we slept well and had a nice breakfast in the morning before our transfer to the airport.

Because there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area they have a curtain around the bed which is very helpful to prevent mosquito bites but it's so cumbersome to do anything while in the room. There was a large roach (Palmetto bug?) that I saw coming out from behind the sink area at night, not a huge deal for me since I lived in a tropical area and kinda got used to seeing them.

Traumhafte Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen, direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Zimmer sind modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, dies hat uns gut gefallen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück konnten wir ohne weiteres bestellen und war sehr reichhaltig. Wir durften sogar 3 Stunden früher einchecken, sowie 5 Stunden später als angegeben auschecken, auch dies lief problemlos ab. Gegenüber liegt ein Restaurant mit sehr guten Essen. Wir hätten gerne mehr als nur eine Nacht hier verbracht

Beautifully situated on a quiet road between Matara and Polhena, right next to the beach. The reefs break the waves so even during the monsoon season you can swim here. But if you'd prefer, there's also a marvelous swimming pool. The chalets are cute, and the entire complex is very nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend.

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom at times, but I think this may have correlated with the heavy rains during our stay. Otherwise there's nothing I could think of.

Alles. Het personeel, de kamers, de omgeving. Het hotel is door de Italiaanse eigenaren opgeknapt en wordt door lokaal personeel bestierd. En dat doen ze heel goed ! Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De hospita heeft verse vis , die we zelf gekocht hadden op de plaatselijke vismarkt, voor ons klaargemaakt. Echt super ! Wij hebben een paar extra dagen bijgeboekt.

Hele mooie plek met mooie tuin aan zee. Klein stukje lopen of fietsen naar Polhena strand waar je kan snorkelen om schildpadden te zien.

L'endroit est sublime !! Le plus bel endroit qu'on ait fait au Sri Lanka. Le personnel est adorable, le petit déjeuner délicieux. Le cadre est absolument idyllique

C’est un des plus beaux hôtels dans lequel j’ai séjourné. Il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a un accès direct à une petite plage. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Tout! D’abord,nous remercions Rozec pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et ses conseils. Ensuite, nous avons apprécié l’aménagement extérieur avec la piscine et l’accès à une petite plage privée toute mignonne. Quant aux chambres, elles sont décorées avec goût et sont très propres.

Heerlijk zwembad met speelgoed, mooie tuin met ligbedden. Comfortabel huisje. Op 10 minuten van strand waar je kan snorkelen en schildpadden zien. De manager was heel vriendelijk en had goede tips voor de omgeving.

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views away from the town. The pool is amazing and you have a private beach with a beautiful garden. The room was also cozy and clean. The staff was wonderful, so kind and welcoming!! The manager is the best :) we would love to come back and we definitely recommend it!!

As soon as you enter the main gate of the premise, you're going to be blown away by the little microcosm of paradise that is on offer for the time you're going to spend here. Lush greenery, exquisite swimming pool, swings & play areas, Loungers, Enough space for parking in case you're driving down, cycles to take out for a spin and ofcourse the serenity of the beach at your perusal even though it's got coral reefs making it slightly hard to step in except if you have water resistant footwear but that won't stop you from taking a dip and will serve up views to soak in like none other. The closest beach is Polhena. My wife & I took the Chantal or the Deluxe double bedroom which had the wherewithal for a beach accommodation, cute & charming vibes, Big bed with mosquito net, AC, Cupboard, safe and pure creativity with lights, hangers and the attached bathroom. High chances of extending your stay just like we did and so many before us, almost like ritual now. Lovely spread of Breakfast on order @5$ pp. Shoutout to the host Ruzaik, The genius behind this work of art. Highly recommended to all the guests out there. Look for the sea view rooms if you find a good deal.

Die Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Meer, der Pool, die parkähnliche Anlage mit vielen Blumen... Der Besitzer hat uns nach unseren Wünsche was Touren angeht befragt und uns tatkräftig unterstütz. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen!

Das Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein.

Everything was perfect! Clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was wonderful, and the location was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Me gustó absolutamente todo. La playa privada, los desayunos deliciosos, la piscina limpia, bicicletas, snorkel y todo lo que necesites. Además, el sitio es muy bonito y está muy bien cuidado, pero sobre todo, la amabilidad de Omar, su padre y todos los trabajadores. Ha sido un placer habernos podido alojar ahí

The host Ruzaik was so welcoming and so helpful the entire time. We had a great stay. We were there to relax and the stay just gave us that. I would not think twice to go back again.

The property was decorated so gracefully, every corner of it explained the aesthetic taste of the owner. I wish we stayed there for more nights! Including the pool, the property was very clean. The best part were buying groceries from the local market and cooking in the kitchen. We had excellent bubble tea and ice-cream in BING CHUN!

Прекрасный отель, очень красивая территория, удобные номера. очень удобно было что есть бесплатные велосипеды - это очень удобно и полезно. есть общий холодильник и любая кухонная утварь и возможность что-то приготовить, нам это было важно.

никаких проблем не испытывали, просто совет отелю, я бы обратил внимание на чистку бассейна и пляжа. это не проблема отеля, но в бухте бывает выбрасывает мусор на берег. мы ходили на черепаший пляж, там чище.

The pool was the central point of attraction. well maintained. The beach was just a step away from the property. Very nice staff. Property manager was very helpful and took care of us throughout the stay. If nature permits I would like to revisit this place. The entire neighborhood is peaceful and lovely people. Bicycles provided were top quality and I had fun riding them. A well equipped shared kitchen is also worth the mention.

Hot and humid weather breeds mosquitoes. As we are from the tropics we are well adapted to it. Property tries its best to keep the mosquitoes away by using mosquito nets inside the room and mosquito repellent coil outdoor.

Three nights here with my two kids (8 & 11). Lovely place, absolutely stunning location by the sea, big swimming pool (kids loved it) and very friendly staff! Close to the beach and next to a nice restaurant. From your room at night you can hear the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, magic!!

We had a really relaxing two days and nights at Deep Blue and wished we could have stayed longer! The rooms and gardens are beautifully designed, with a good sized pool and different places to sit and lounge. And we really enjoyed using the free bicycles to explore the local area and other nearby beaches.

The property is stunning and the staff is beyond kind and accommodating. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I loved the peaceful, serene, calm ambience. The villa is very comfortable and I loved the interior designing of the rooms. Very artistic, thoughtful and antique type. The rooms were clean. The pool was really nice. It's a safe, calm place away from noisy crowds. Definite place to visit if you prefer to be away from the bustling crowds and get away into quiet nature with a private beach.

I would have loved if there was a telephone to call room service but overall great experience.

A gem of a place nestled in a super quiet corner of Matara, right next to quite a pretty canal (that none of the other reviews seemed to have mentioned). And obviously the sound of sea while you're falling asleep in a hammock is unparalleled. The rooms were huge and really pretty to look at. The manager Ruzaik was super accommodative and had excellent suggestions regarding things to check out nearby. 10/10 would stay again

The placement of the air conditioning with respect to the bed was kind of inconvenient but that's about it

Super nice design, everything was clean, the host ist very friendly and has many recommendations. He helped us a lot to arrange our travels moving forward. There is a big pool and a small private beach which is especially great for swimming during the morning. We can highly recommend staying here 🥰

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und wären gerne noch länger geblieben! Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und das Hotel ist wunderschön mit einem großen Pool direkt am Meer. Wir durften sogar länger bleiben am Abreisetag und den Pool weiter nutzen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker!

Heerlijk lokaal strand op 10 min afstand. Niet druk en weinig toeristen. Waar de schildpadden nog ongestoord voorbij komen zwemmen. Met kleine kinderen was het heel fijn afgesloten, konden lekker spelen.

Helaas waren er honden 's nachts gekomen en hadden kleding en schoenen kapot gemaakt. Werd wel heel netjes door de eigenaren opgelost en zelfs één vergoeding aangeboden!

It is an absolutely beautiful place where you can fully switch off as it is so quiet and a peaceful area. The pool is wonderful and near to Polhena Beach. There are bikes you can use at the property to go to the shops etc. The staff are incredible, and very welcoming, and the gardens are kept immaculately with so many beautiful trees. They thought of everything including putting insect repellent coils out every evening.

We loved this place. The pool is so nice to cool down in and the garden is so beautiful. The hosts put a lot of time and energy into making the grounds a peaceful haven, lots of thought has gone into it. You wake to the sound of birds and the waves of the Indian Ocean. We had breakfast which we really enjoyed here with great Italian coffee and loved the attention to detail.We really appreciated the peace and safety of this place. The fact that we could ride their bicycles for free from the hotel was a real plus. We would recommend this place to other people and will be back.

Останавливаемся уже второй раз и второй раз меняем свои планы в отпуске чтобы продлить здесь проживание! Много путешествуем по миру, но самый райский уголок для нас тут. Красивая и ухоженная территория, великолепный бассейн и домики в греческом стиле. Умиротворение и шум океана! Рядом с отелем проходит река, где рыбаки ставят на ночь свои лодки. Вы можете спросить у управляющего отелем про рыбака Манжу и отправиться с ним на прогулку или на рыбалку ( если любители как мы ), для нас он уже стал местным другом! Гостеприимные хозяева европейцы, которые проживают также на территории отеля, поэтому здесь все на уровне. Складывается впечатление что все мы одна семья 🫶 Благодарю за такое место на земле, вернемся обязательно.

La struttura è molto bella, l’area del giardino con piscina è super rilassante e si sta bene! Il personale è molto disponibile, cordiale e simpatico! Ci ha aiutati con il noleggio del motorino ed è stato molto veloce. Le aree comuni sono molto comode e curate

-Purtroppo noi ci aspettavamo che il mare lì davanti fosse brutto con acqua marrone. In compenso la piscina è molto bella -Le camere non sono belle quanto le aree comuni, Potrebbero essere leggermente più curate e arredate con attenzione e gusto. Ma c’era tutto il necessario!

More of a resort vibe, not as personal as some beautiful other places where we have stayed. But still everyone was incredibly nice and helpful!

Das Deep Blue ist ein kleines familiäres Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, in der Küche gibt es alles was man braucht, um sich selbst etwas zum Essen zu kochen & es gibt jederzeit Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Wir haben zahlreiche Tipps zum Erkunden der Umgebung erhalten. Am nächstgelegenen Polhena Beach konnten wir sogar Wasserschildkröten sehen. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, etwas hellhörig, aber wir haben es genossen bei Meeresrauschen einzuschlafen. Wäscheservice und Rollervermietung liefen super unkompliziert zu fairen Preisen. Wir können das Deep Blue von Herzen empfehlen.

Dit is echt een geweldig mooie accomodatie en het personeel is echt super vriendelijk. Met speciale dankjewel aan Omar, die ons van alles heeft laten zien tijdens ons verblijf! Dit is een van de enige verblijven waar wij echt wel naar terug zouden gaan. Het ontbijt was super goed. De activiteiten die worden aangeboden zijn goed geregeld en we waren blij verrast van hoe mooi Matara is. Het appartement was mooi en schoon. Dankjewel!

It's a magnificent spot facing the sea. This place is magical. The host is lovely and always ready to help. The location isn't far from Mirissa, very easy to access, and peaceful.

Superschöner gepflegter Garten mit sauberem Pool und Privatstrand. Toll zum Relaxen. Schöner Einrichtungsstil. Habe mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Gutes Frühstück. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat spontan ein Tuktuk für meine Weiterreise organisiert.

An sich fand ich die Gegend nicht besonders schön, habe mich auch deshalb die meiste Zeit auf dem Grundstück aufgehalten.

Domaćini u objektu bili su i više nego ljubazni. Svako jutro pripremali su nam ukusan doručak i potrudili se ugoditi našim željama. Bili su nam raspolaganju za sva pitanja. Dvorište objekta je jednom riječju savršena i prekrasno uređena. Čista petica za sam objekt i domaćine! Rado bi se ponovno vratili, te mirnog srca preporučujemo ovaj smještaj svakome! Es war traumhaft, sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer , toller Pool. Die komplette Anlage war schön gestaltet und alles sehr sauber. Den Kühlschrank in der Gemeinschaftsküche konnte man benutzen. Am kleinen Privatstrand konnte man ohne große Wellen im indischen Ozean schwimmen, da die Bucht von einem vorgelagerten Korallenriff geschützt war. Es war in ruhiger Lage, aber polhena beach war zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Der Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Frühstück lecker.

Великолепный пляж, закрыт от волн, есть шезлонги и тень. Отель новый. Все продумано для комфорта и приватности гостей. Территория чистая и ухоженная. Прекрасный бассейн. Хозяева очень гостеприимны. До инфраструктуры 5 минут пешком. Алкомаркет рядом. Бесплатно велосипеды предоставляют.
