La casa de Isabel y Juan, Zona Colonial

La hospitalidad de Juan fue muy buena, muy atento y colaborativo. La casa está súper centrada y fácil de llegar a los puntos turísticos de Santo Domingo. Tienes agua potable gratis cosa que se agradece cuando llegas de viaje por tantas horas. La limpieza y el internet estaban bien.

La verdad un poco antiguo para mi gusto siento que pueden mejorar un poco la decoración y hay un ruido de un motor por muchas horas durante el día y la noche, pero si te toca en la habitación del medio no se escucha la verdad. Por el precio que se paga está bien.

Los anfitriones fueron muy atentos y solventaron todas nuestras dudas, era muy limpio el lugar, y estaba en una buena zona.

Todo muy limpio , el dueño es muy , muy amable y atento y te explica todo con paciencia al entregarte las llaves , se mantiene muy atento y a la disposición mientras estás ahí , lo recomiendo 100% , igual todo era muy tranquilo y te sientes cómodo a pesar de estar en una casa , aún así sientes privacidad y comodidad , volveré cuando vuelva a Santo Domingo .

La ubicación

Que la habitación daba a la calle y había mucho ruido en la noche

旧市街にあり観光に便利。公共交通機関では辿り着けないが、地下鉄駅からグアグアとカロプブリコという庶民の乗り合いワゴンや車に乗ったり、それらを乗り継げば安く辿り着ける。ただし乗り方にはコツが要る。コンデ門を拠点にすると乗りやすい。 冷たい水がある。 共有スペースにバルコニーがある。 スーパーが近い。

アリはいる。

地理位置非常好，需要注意的是google上的地標跟住宿提供的地標不一致，請照著房東提供的地標前進，地圖上的標示是錯誤的，因為溝通不良無法跟房東說請他們更改，設備齊全，廁所空間也很大。 重要提醒：有新設置冷氣，冷氣費用也不含在房費裡面，靠房東自行開價看你同不同意。

沒有隔音，房間鄰近大街非常吵鬧，凌晨三點還是充滿機車引擎聲跟喇叭聲，需要安靜的旅客不推薦這邊，一樓大門不算太好開。

La familiaridaf

Tout, c’était très confortable et hyper propre. La géolocalisation on peut pas faire plus au centre de la vieille ville c’est juste parfait ! Juan et isabel sont très gentil et arrangeant, ils sont très à l’écoute et en contact permanent à partir du moment où la réservation est faite !

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt (Zona Colonial). Dort gibt es Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Cafés und alles das, was man als Torist erwartet. Die Betreiber der Unterkunft sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die ganze Unterkunft und insbesondere das Bad ist sehr sauber. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet. Neben der Küche steht ein Bereich zur Verfügung in dem man sich aufhalten und frühstücken und essen kann. Ich war insgesamt sehr angenehm überrascht, weil der Preis günstig war und ich nicht erwartet hatte, dort einen so angenehmen Aufenthalt zu haben.

Das Einzige was etwas gestört hat, war der Straßenlärm. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer engen Straße und vorbeifahrende Autos und Motorräder waren teilweise laut zu hören. Es wird allerdings in der Regel langsam gefahren und die Anzahl der Fahrzeuge hält sich in Grenzen.

Este apartamento tenía algo especial , era acogedor , su cama muy cómoda ; volvería repetir . Usar la cocina para quizás un desayuno es una ayuda muy óptima . Está cerca una cuadra de la calle principal que lleva a los restaurantes y sitios nocturnos . Lo recomiendo mucho .

In the old city,walkable to anywhere

I had a wonderful stay at La Casa de Isabel y Juan in the Zona Colonial. The location is central and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, with a spotless bathroom and access to a shared living space, kitchen, dining area, and balcony. It was such a positive experience that I returned for another stay. Excellent value for the price—I highly recommend it. Juan went out of his way to make me feel at home.

Very nice and helpful owners, great location and very good value for money.

The location is prime for being next to the Colonial Zone, and the host is very nice. The room was large, and well-equipped, and the shared-bathroom was clean and nice. The area is currently under construction, as the street in front of the building, and the surrounding two blocks are being redone, but look to be near completion, and once completed will be very aesthetically-pleasing. The only downside was the loud music coming from the colmado kitty-corner from the property until late at night.

The loud music until nearly 1:00 AM was disturbing, so if you stay, you might want to consider bringing air-plugs. I was able to use the floor fan to drown it out to an extent.

The shower

Juan was a very caring and helpful host, the location is excellent. I stayed there twice during my stay in the Dominican Republic and i highly recommend to book a room here. Lots of privacy, near the pedestrian zone/ bus station.

It is right at the center. There is really cheap places to eat nearby. It felt really safe and you can get around easily from there. There is only 2 rooms so the shared bathroom is only with the other guest which never was an issue. The places is kept clean. There is a little balcony where you can get a smoke or watch people. A nice big fridge and a kitchen. The owners were really sweet and kept one of my bags for a few days while i was traveling around. If you get the chance to book this place, do it it is great value for the money. They give you soap and towels and there even was conditioner!!!!

I did not mind but it is good to know that the owners live in a third room (you do not share the bathroom with them they have their own).

The owners are really nice. They live on the same flat. It was not a problem for me but it is always good to know. They kept one of my backpack for a few days while i was away which was very nice of them. It is super clean. You do share the bathrooms but it is only with one other room so it never was an issue. There is a little balcony where you can look at people passing by. The bed was good. They give you soap and everything. There even was conditionner. Such a nice attention. You can use the kitchen and the fridge. And it is super close to everything. In front There is an economical lunch. And a panaderia à la esquina. And a block away is the main street. If you have the chance to be able to book There. Do not hesitate!!

The good value for the money. The location is in the historical city center. The majority of landmarks are in walkable distances. The host is very hospitable.

FYI, there is pipeline reconstruction on the street so you can hear some noise

Had my own personal room very clean, space in the fridge, water provided if I wished and I could use the kitchen. Bathroom shared but always clean always had toilet paper etc. Towel and soap provided. Room had a ceiling fan and standing fan and was very cool. The yellow disco across the road is always pumping but not too loud that I couldn’t sleep and I had my own key to come and go as I felt like. I arrived late and Juan made sure I knew what to tell the taxi where I was going and greeted me warmly and gave me a good orientation to the property although he had work very early the next morning. I spoke Spanish with them and the place is right in the colonial zone so perfect for walking around. When it rained I ubered.

The lady was super nice.

The mattress was hard af, if I slept 2 hours per night it was too much, my back would hurt everyday. It was hard hard to sleep. And also it was a shared bathroom.

Very nice host and very helpful too! Great location and nice apartment. There was water and WiFi available! He even helped us get a taxi to the airport at a normal price.

The room was incredibly hot and stuffy. The fan didn't help much. It's not for having a good rest if you are not used to sleeping like this.

The location is top. 70 meters from the main pedestrian street. The apartment is not as bad as the bad room I stayed in. It's cheap. But....

An old creaking fan. Showering is painful because the pressure is very weak. The room is very small, there is not even a table. I've been sweating and sleeping badly for three nights because it's too hot and stuffy.
