The stay was an amazing experience, very cozy , close to the cliff , friendly staff especially staff Raji was very helpful. We would like to comeback on our next holiday.

Struttura molto accogliente e pulita a pochi passi dal Cliff. Le camere sono dotate anche di un bel terrazzino che dà sulla piscina in costruzione che sarà pronta a breve.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits en famille au Nirrvaan. Le Homstay est très bien situé et en même temps pas sur la route principale, plutôt au calme. Très confortable, nous avons pris nos petit dej (keralais ou continental) et 2 dîners excellents faits par la cuisinière du Homestay. Une piscine est en construction (fin prévu pour fin août 2026), ce qui devrait rendre l’expérience encore meilleure. Une très bonne adresse à Varkala !

I liked everything about the property.

Our stay was made great by its close location to Varkala beach, in a lovely home and breakfast each day was a delight to eat. The owner and her staff are truly welcoming caring people and would highly recommend this home stay.

There was nothing to complain about and with the addition of a new pool perfect.

Stayed here recently and it was truly excellent. The host made us feel like family, the staff went above and beyond. Every meal was fresh, tasty and served with care . The place was impeccably clean and the ambience calm and inviting. Would definitely return

Une mauvaise expérience humaine. La propriétaire s’est montrée désagréable et peu arrangeante au moment de régler la chambre au point de nous traiter de "menteurs" et de "mauvaises personnes". Lors de notre arrivée nous avons demandé à annuler la dernière nuit de notre séjour. Il ne nous a pas été signifié que cela posait problème. Au moment du paiement la propriétaire a souhaité que l’on paye plus que prévu. D’avantage de communication aurait évité tout mal entendu et des échanges très désagréables qui ont ternis la fin de notre séjour. Il restait ce soir là plusieurs chambres disponibles à la réservation. Notre annulation n’a donc pas affecté l’hôtel.

Beautiful place and super delicious food

La ubicación es perfecta para estar cerca de la playa y la zona del acantilado (tiendas,restaurantes...), la habitacion y el baño estaban muy limpios y cuidados, la mujer que trabaja en la casa Raji es encantadora siempre con una sonrisa en la cara y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitabamos, los desayunos que nos preparó tipicos de la zona estaban buenissimos.

Incredible moment in this house ! Check in was easy and fast and the check out was really nice ! I got super breakfast « late » cause of the surf session. People here make your trip even better thanks !

I had such a great stay at Nirrvaan Homestay! The place is really beautiful, super clean, and I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. The homemade breakfast was amazing and definitely something I looked forward to every day. The staff are all so warm and welcoming, which made it even better. The location is perfect too. It’s really close to Varkala Cliff and lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Location was close to the beach and Varkala Cliff.

There were multiple lizards in the room roaming on the bed. For one whole night AC was not working due to power cutoff and voltage fluctuation throughout the night. The room lock was useless, no safety.

Lovely home stay within walking distance of Varkala cliff. The staff were so helpful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Room was also absolutely spotless!

I liked everything about the Nirrvaan Homestay. It was brilliant. It was a quiet place to rest and relax in amongst heaps of plants and a lush lawned area. It is enough away from Cliff Beach to be isolated from crowds and any noise, but still a very easy walk to get to Cliff Beach. Owner and Host Reka is brilliant. Attentive, provides addvice and arranged taxis for me. The staff were very good as was my breakfast, room and stay. Ground floor is the entry and dining area and is very nice. First floor comprises of 4 good rooms with a good size balcony and the top floor is a large roofed open area with tables and enough room for any yoga or activities. This floor also has the very large guests fridge to use freely at any time. The homestay for guests was well secured at night, so any solo female travellers would feel well secure here. I had a great stay.

Этот маленький уютный отель расположен в 5 минутах ходьбы от океана. И хотя вокруг достаточно громкие улицы с оживленным движением, они совсем не слышны в отеле, т.к. он стоит не в 1-м ряду, а спрятан на заднем плане среди ухоженного и благоухающего сада. Тияджи, солнце и душа отеля, готовит вкусные завтраки. Можно выбрать между европейским и индийским завтраком. Под крышей отеля достаточно места, чтобы целой группе заниматься йогой. Отель обставлен очень по-домашнему и с большой любовью. До ресторанов и магазинов на побережье тоже 5 мин. ходьбы.

Tout ! Nous avons passé une superbe semaine, Rija nous a très bien accueilli et a été aux petits soins, sa cuisine est merveilleuse. Le homestay est parfaitement situé, proche de tout, à pied. Nous recommandons !

Ruhig gelegen und trotzdem sehr nah zur Strandpromenade. Sauberes Haus, tolle Gastgeberin, die hervorragend kocht und sehr hilfsbereit ist. Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und eigenem Bad ausgestattet. Sehr liebevoll gepflegter Garten.

Ambiente accogliente e pulitissimo. Padrona di casa discreta ma sempre presente e disponibile. Il personale gentilissimo. Buona la posizione poiché è a due passi dal cliff con l' accesso alla spiaggia e allo shopping ma in una stradina tranquilla. La stanza è fornita di bollitore, aria condizionata e ventilatore, una terrazza con fan dove poter stendere la biancheria. La colazione è ottima ed abbondante e la struttura offre il servizio lavanderia e stiratura per poche rupie. Sceglierei questa struttura sicuramente!

Die Inhaberin und das Personal waren sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und unterstützend bei Fragen. Wir brauchten Hilfe bei einer Flugbuchung und die Inhaberin, Rekha, hat alles für uns erledigt. Die Lage des Homestays war toll, abseits von der großen Straße in einem grünen, gepflegten Garten, aber nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants und Shops oben auf den Klippen entfernt. Das Frühstück - wir hatten uns südindisches Frühstück gewünscht - war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Obwohl wir schon oft in Indien waren, haben wir neue köstliche Frühstücksgerichte kennengelernt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub verbringen.

Prima schone kamer met airco, badkamer met heerlijk heet water, ontbijt met keuze tussen ei/ toast of Indiaas, of beiden. Erg aardig personeel en gastvrouw. Ligging heel rustig en toch dichtbij het strand.

Ell mejor alojamiento de mi viaje en India. La ubicación es perfecta , cerca de todo pero silencioso. El entorno lleno de plantas, súper limpio. Tanto la dueña como el personal que allí trabaja súper amables y siempre con una sonrisa. La posibilidad de compartir el desayuno (puede ser continental, indio) con otros huéspedes como posibilidad de conocer gente. Tener el balcón para leer por la tarde un rato a la sombra es un plus. Cama cómoda y habitación decorada con mucho gusto. Perfecto!!

The location was perfect and so peaceful!! The home stay itself was so beautiful and relaxing, our room had everything you needed and was so clean and tidy!! I had the best night sleep :) The staff were so lovely and breakfast in the morning was so tasty :) thank you so so much :)

We had an authentic Kerala breakfast, it was so delicious and warm. The location of the homestay was perfect for us, hardly 200 meters from the Varkala Cliff. Nirrvaan Homestay comes highly recommended!

There was nothing that we didn't like about Nirrvaan Homestay! This was much more than anyone could ask for if they are looking for a perfect, calm, cozy place close to nature to stay with family or friends.

Location was amazing, 2 minutes to North Cliff. Host and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Room was large, clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious with choice of Indian or eggs.

Maybe a small table on the very nice balcony is missing, I personally also missed a bedside table, but the friendliness of the staff at this homestay outweighed these small shortcomings.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nirrvaan Homestay. The host and cooks were wonderful - so warm, kind and attentive. The house and room were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed( toiletries, towels, AC, filtered water). The balcony was the perfect spot to appreciate the beautiful garden and I really loved all the plants around the home. The breakfast was one of the highlights, freshly prepared delicious South Indian food which varied each day. It all amounted to an incredibly peaceful and homely stay. We didn’t want to leave! Just a few minutes walk from the beach it’s the perfect spot to explore Varkala.

I loved everything about Nirrvaan homestay! Great location, very nice hosts, good Indian breakfast. The rooms are nice and cosy, with a little balcony, a fan and the AC. Very close to North Cliff. I highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Nirvan Homestay! The host is incredibly welcoming, and the lady preparing breakfast was lovely, making delicious meals. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, and the house and garden are full of beautiful plants. I also loved having a quiet upper-floor space to practice yoga. The location is perfect—close to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Nirrvaan Homestay est sans hésitation l’un des meilleurs Homestay. / Guesthouse que j’ai eu en Inde (à prix comparable bien sûr) on est comme à la maison. La maison et la chambre sont super bien décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Les petits déjeuners indiens mais aussi l’omelette sont délicieux. Rekha, la propriétaire est super sympa. On peut facilement échanger avec elle et son anglais est parfait. Bref l’endroit est merveilleux pour un prix très raisonnable. Un très beau souvenir.

The owner was truly wonderful. She was helpful in every way possible to ensure our stay was memorable. Her staff were also great and the breakfasts show cased local food and produce.

Great location - v quiet yet just few minutes from cliff and shops / cafes - we had downstairs room which we liked with seating area opening into garden - the rooms were exceptionally well furnished and comfortable for the price with toiletries provided - v helpful host who booked tuktuks and advised on things to do - liked fact they provided filtered water in lovely glass bottles and we had kettle and teas / coffees in our room . Breakfasts were fabulous with choice of Keralan and continental

Loved everything! We were 2 females and felt super safe here. The private room was spotlessly clean, super modern. Tv with Netflix came in really handy as one of us was a little sick. Bathroom perfect, great shower. Breakfast was amazing each morning. I even extended my stay 2 nights when my friend left. Only a 5min walk from the cliff. Perfect location. Would 100% recommend this Homestay!

Beautiful property. The whole house is so aesthetically decorated, and it has a big garden (with parking space). Location is perfect and they served delicious breakfast. The owner was very kind and helped us with everything that we needed. I would definitely book this property again. One of the best homestays for me :)

Great location, just a few hundred meters away from the beach. Nice and clean (bath)rooms. Great breakfast in the communal area. The owners of the homestay are very friendly and eager to do anything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Location is close to the beach and the auntie making breakfast was very sweet and made tasty food.

The auntie running the homestay is dry and a bit rude. The place is a little dated and run-down, the room was a little dirty, the beds were super uncomfortable and was not the king bed I requested, rather two twin beds. The bed sheets were also stained. Bathroom had tons of mosquitos. One day, the auntie was painting the floor outside by the rooms black and left no sign stating there was wet paint, and she even watched us walk onto the property and gave us 0 warning, so our shoes were left covered in paint.

Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Nirrvaan is highly recommended homestay.

The room had toiletries and towels provided, the breakfast is really nice and the the house is well located and very pretty.

The owner, Reikish is amazing. She really makes sure you feel at home and deeply cares about her guests. It's not just a business for her, but her "true" passion. There's a reason why she gets high ratings on Booking. Great water pressure in the shower, the place is clean, great location where you can walk to everything. One of the things I love about India are the people and she is one of them. It's always a great joy to talk to the locals.

We liked the place very much, the location is perfect near the cliff but very quiet. The breakfast was very good. The room clean and shower great.

Overall it was a great experience. I would say, the location, the room, staffs, services, food, all were up to the mark and value for money. Me and my family were happy with the stay and would like to consider the same if we visit again. Thanks!

The woman who does the cooking is an angel. Such a lovely, humble nature and yet a fantastic cook. Hope you are there on a day when she makes her vegetable curry - I could eat it all day long. The lady who runs the guesthouse was very helpful with suggestions and arrangements, and I was granted a very early check-in which was a surprise and a delight (and very much needed).

It's not that I didn't like it, but I didn't understand the bin situation in my room. I think this is because what is recycled in the UK is different to what is recycled in India and I was just confused.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is very close to the cliff and the beach. Filtered water is available.

There is no free access to the kitchen, however, the lady there helps with everything. The bed was a little too soft for us, although this is our preference. The room and the balkony were small.

Awesome stay at Nirvaan homestay, room is cozy and comfortable, super clean property, and especially Raji took care of everything, she served good fresh breakfast, she treats guest like her own family. Very near to the north cliff and beach, I would love to stay again at Nirvaan. Thank you and kudos to the owner as well.

There were too many mosquitoes outside hence was unable to open the balcony door and enjoy the fresh air.

We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay here longer. A beautiful house, with lovely, clean rooms and a very comfortable bed! A short walk from the beach and lots of restaurants. The owner and staff were all very friendly and we had a delicious breakfast provided. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about Nirvaan Homestay. The location near the Helipad is extremely convenient- youre very quickly on the beach or the main street. My room was lovely with a bright balcony. Great shower, very clean. The owners are kind and helpful and the homecooked breakfast was wonderful😍 There is also a fruit stand nearby where I bought mangos, pineapples and bananas daily and was allowed to cit them in the homestays kitchen. Loved my stay at Nirvaan!

This was the nicest place we stayed in Kerala, and one of the nicest in India. The room is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff are absolutely lovely and made an incredible breakfast every morning. The location was amazing, tucked away from the main road, but so close to the main strip.

We loved our stay

The room itself is lovely, the bed is so comfy and there is a decent tv and proper aircon. It was one of the nicest bedrooms we stayed at in Kerala. However, our ‘balcony’ was on the ground floor and a car had parked right in front of it for most of our stay so that’s all we could see. A few mornings we saw an old couple looking into our bedroom, literally with their hands on the glass staring in whilst we were in bed. As our room was on the ground floor we could hear every sound from the kitchen which was pretty annoying. The cook who works there is very sweet.

Everything about the property and service offered. Indian breakfasts were varied and very tasty. Raji was delightful member of staff who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

A very warm welcome, lovely bedroom with great a/c, superb breakfast which varied every day, filtered bottled water available. Beautifully appointed home with sensible features such as a hand wash sink in dining room. Best of all was Raji, who looked after us with her excellent cooking and pleasant personality. The garden and grounds were very well kept making the home a lovely place to be to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the cliff area. We were able to park our rental scooter inside the gate.

We did feel very awkward having to ring the bell when the outer door was shut as we were not supplied with an outside door key to get in. Some form of access would be helpful, that would allow entry without constantly bothering staff when they may be busy doing something more important.

As a guest at Nirvaan Homestay you are not treated as a customer but like a friend. This is genuine behaviour, not made up. The traditional breakfast Kerala style is extraordinary. There is only a few minutes walk to the beach.
