Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Le séjour s'est super bien passé, la famille qui nous a accueilli était vraiment super, très gentille, très accueillante! Nous sommes restés 3 nuits. L'hôte nous a conduit gracieusement à Sigiriya à 4h45 du matin pour que nous puissions le monter au lever du jour et il est venu nous récupérer quand nous avions fini. Il nous a recommandé un ami à lui pour le Safari. Qui était moins cher que ce que nous avions trouvé avec une jeep privé et + de 2h de balade. Ces filles nous ont arrangés pour nous faire un repas un midi. La famille a été super arrangeante tout le long du séjour, tous souriants, pleins de conseil et pas du tout intrusive. Les petits déjeuners maison change tout les jours et nous avons pu découvrir des plats locaux tous aussi bons les uns que les autres ! L'hôte nous a proposé d' être notre taxi, nous avons donc également fait une journée aux ruines de Polonnaruwa, il nous a également fait le taxi a chaque point et nous a attendu a chaque visite, ainsi qu'après la visite pour une pause lunch. Pour la suite de notre séjour nous souhaitons aller a Trincomalee et il c'est proposé d'être notre taxi une nouvelle fois donc nous avons fini le séjour comme ça. Au niveau de la chambre rien a dire, les lits sont super confortables, le logement est super propre, deux ventilateurs pour la nuit et c'est largement suffisant pour supporter la chaleur. Bref je recommande 1000 fois ce logement ! Un de nos coups de cœur de notre voyage au Sri Lanka !

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026La chambre est propre, conforme à la description, la climatisation fonctionne très bien. Hôte très accueillant qui est guide professionnel et nous a guidées au rocher du lion. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, pareil pour le repas du soir qui est en supplément mais est un excellent rapport qualité/prix (bien mieux que tous les autres restaurants environnants).

El mejor desayuno típico de Sri Lanka que hemos probado. El marido era guía y si necesitas un guía para Lion’s rock puede ser tu guía a muy buen precio. Nos dio grandes consejos.

Serwowane sa przepyszne sniadania, codziennie dostawalismy cos innego. Bardzo czysty domek, skromny, wygodne lozka. Cisza i spokoj, super ogrod, w nocy odglosy dzungli, po ogrodzie lataja ptaki, a nawet paw przed brama :) do centrum 15 min piechota albo 3 min tuk tuk

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Sehr sehr freundliche Gastgeber mit einer ganz tollen Unterkunft mitten in der Natur. Man kann hier Fahrräder leihen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr bemüht Tipps zu Aktivitäten zu geben und Dinge zu organisieren. Ganz in der Nähe ist der Lions Rock.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026The property is in a lovely location, a short walk to nearby restaurants and lovely area to walk around. We saw monkeys and other wildlife. It’s close to Lions rock. The staff were great and helped arranged transport. Such good value for the price. Aircon worked and even though a basic stay it was worth the visit.

Il y a de l’eau à disposition et nous avons pu mettre nos bouteilles au frigo pour le lendemain. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et super copieux! Il nous a tenu toute la journée! Possible d’aller à différents restaurants à pieds, celui en sortant de la petite ruelle, à droite était très très bon :)

Calmo, in mezzo alla natura, abbiamo soggiornato in una capanna con tetto originale, senza AC ma con ventilatori. Un'esperienza davvero fantastica. È disponibile un servizio di noleggio biciclette a pagamento quindi siamo riusciti a spostarci tranquillamente per raggiungere trekking o laghi nelle vicinanze. Ci tornerei sicuramente 😍 grazie di tutto, anche dell'ottimo cibo che ci veniva preparato ad ogni colazione. Bohoma istuti
La connessione internet non è delle migliori se bisogna considerare di lavorarci però non so se sia causa dei cali di tensione che ci sono stati neri giorni in cui eravamo lì.

Il wifi era davvero scarso e sebbene sia menzionata la possibilità della colazione inglese/irlandese in realtà noi abbiamo avuto solo la possibilità di una colazione locale.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026We were able to walk to restaurants and such nearby. The host was very responsive and helped us arrange transportation to our hikes, to a village tour, and a cultural show. We do think it may have been cheaper to find our own transportation. The treehouse is really cute, we enjoyed sitting on the benches on the outside area and listening to the noises of the jungle. Breakfast was simple but good!
The room smelled musty and damp. Everything in my bag smells like the room. The shower got lukewarm but never hot.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Sitio muy tranquilo, camas muy cómodas. Cuarto espacioso. Por la noche cierra el portón y da mucha seguridad. Cada día preparaban un desayuno típico diferente, todo muy rico y variado.
La primera noche nos dio una habitación y el baño estaba bien con agua caliente, pero luego nos cambiaron de habitación a una más grande y no teníamos agua caliente en el baño (pero con el calor que hace se agradece)

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt. Die Besitzer sind wunderbare Menschen die versuchen jeden Plan umzusetzen. Wir haben spätes Frühstück bekommen, konnten unser Gepäck nach dem auschecken länger dort lassen usw. Einfach alles toll. Eine richtig kleine Oase!

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026Es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte, inklusive Handtücher, Decke und Seife. Man konnte schön auf der Terrasse sitzen. Die Lage war etwas außerhalb, wodurch es sehr ruhig war. Trotzdem war man zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 Minuten in Sigiriya und auf der Hauptstraße.
Das Zimmer roch etwas feucht/muffig und die Gastgeber waren nur über Handy erreichbar, da sie sich viel zurück gezogen haben. Waren aber über Handy recht gut erreichbar. Besser schreiben als anrufen.

The owner and his family were extremely nice and welcoming and helped us arrange tuk tuk for lion’s rock and pidarungala rock sunrise hikes. Nice homemade breakfast served with delicious local fruits. They have few old bikes to rent, not in great condition but the price is good and it’s a great way to explore the surroundings.
The treehouse might have some issues with humidity, we could smell the mold in the main room. Although our friend stayed in a room downstairs and it was completely fine, no signs or smell of mold.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025Die Gastgeberfamilie ist so herzlich, vor allem die Mutter! Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Wir wurden auch direkt mit einer frischen Kokosnuss auf dem Garten begrüßt. Es ist alles sehr sehr sauber und das Warmwasser funktioniert sehr gut, auch der Wasserdruck. Der Gastvater hat uns auch auf Wunsch und Rat ein Tuk Tuk organisiert, hat alles reibungslos geklappt.
Es ist etwas weg vom Zentrum. Wem aber das Laufen nicht stört, hat damit kein Problem. Sehr leckeres, abwechselndes und ausreichendes Frühstück! Leider war es zweimal schon vorab gemacht und war etwas gestanden, besser und super lecker war es am letzten Tag, als es frisch und warm serviert wurde.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Echt mega aardige mensen. Er was geen tuktuk om ons naar de rock te brengen dus heeft de eigenaar ons zelf gebracht om 4.30 ‘s nachts. Het ontbijt was super lekker. Hij heeft ons ook naar Trincomalee gebracht en toen hij 30 km verder was kwam ik erachter dat mn tasje nog in de auto lag. Toen ik hem belde, was hij direct terug gereden om het tasje te brengen. Echt super aardig van hem.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025The family was so helpful. The meal they cooked for us was outstanding. The breakfast were excellent, they even made us a packed lunch. We were 15/20min walk into town. But there were lots of restaurants very close by
