What a wonderful find! From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcome. The owners are two of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve met during my travels — warm, attentive and always happy to help with anything you need. The place itself is spotlessly clean, tidy, beautifully kept and very comfortable. It’s not right in the middle of the city centre, but honestly, that was not an issue at all. Tuk tuks are literally a minute away, so getting anywhere in Phnom Penh is quick, easy and inexpensive. Highly wrecommended — and if I’m back in Phnom Penh, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stay Sweet is an incredible guesthouse. The hospitality here is unmatched, and the rooms are wonderfully spacious, clean, and comfortable. A massive thank you to Penha and Noi for their amazing care, warmth, and heartfelt kindness—they made us feel so welcome throughout our entire stay! The guesthouse restaurant is also fantastic: delicious, fresh food at very reasonable prices. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!

The room was super spacious and bed really comfortable. Really tasty food and the owner was amazing. The airport shuttle service was a life saver and with Mr Tith Panha we had really good and interesting conversations. The place really felt like home.

The owner is so nice. The best we have had in the whole of SE Asia. When we came in we had fruit and then they showed us the room which we had a free upgrade. The room was really nice with very good tea and facilities. We had some food there which was also super good, we tried the house whiskey and liked it a lot. The morning after i got some coffee which was good. We got Cambodian cupcakes from the owner. Unfortunately we only had one night here but would have loved to stay longer.

Je ne comprends pas tous les avis positifs ! L’emplacement vraiment eloigné il faut compter 1h quand bouchons pour aller au centre et 2 euros a chaque fois. Ce n’est pas un home stay pour moi (en comparaison de mon mois au Cambodge dans d’autres home stay )les propriétaires n’échangent pas avec vous, c’est plutôt comme un hôtel. A ce prix la autant en prendre un plein centre (ce que j’ai fait la dernière nuit pour le meme prix piscine +petit déjeuner) La piscine est une piscine municipale plus loin et payante! Chambre minuscule au dernier étage et très bruyante (musique a 5h)

I chose to stay here because of the exceptional reviews, and I also had a very pleasant experience. Panha, the owner, picked me up from the airport, which is an extra cost but worth every dollar because he is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, and I also believe it is good to support local people and their businesses. The homestay itself is very comfortable and safe. I was given a nice free upgrade. My bed was comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The wifi worked to a high standard, which was handy as I needed to do some online work. I had dinner and breakfast here, and it was delicious and inexpensive, not to forget the great organic Cambodian coffee they serve. Panha even took me in his car to buy ice cream from the supermarket. Highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic stay in Phnom Penh.

I had a wonderful stay here! The room was lovely and had everything I needed to feel right at home. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating—they gave me such a warm welcome, which I truly appreciated as a solo traveler. Plus, it’s a very convenient 30-minute drive to the airport.

Such a memorable and warm hospitality from Panha and the team. It is a super sweet stay with an opportunity to taste amazing food prepared for you on the spot,alongside thoughtful conversations. The room we had was amazing, tastefully furnished and decorated and really comfortable and clean and offered a great restful night sleep before the long flight back home. We stayed at Stay Sweet on the last night of our holiday to Cambodia and this is something we will fondly remember. The location is also great to allow quick access to the new airport.

Second time back to this place and is still one of the best places to stay. Owner accomedated us well as he always does.

Sehr schöne und vor allem sehr saubere Unterkunft. Zudem in der Nacht überraschend total ruhig, obwohl tagsüber auf der Straße buntes treiben ist (wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße). Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns beispielsweise sehr günstig nach der Übernachtung früh morgens zum Flughafen gefahren bzw. wurde uns am Anreisetag ein Tuktuk für die Fahrt in die Stadt organisiert.

Atmosfeer erg goed. Gastheer en gastvrouw heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze zorgen letterlijk dat het je aan niets ontbreekt (thee met gember als je iets last van je keel hebt, vers fruit neerzetten om te eten, kussen in je rug om nog comfortabeler te kunnen zitten. Gastheer erg behulpzaam met tips om te ondernemen. Taxi regelen of zelf als taxi fungeren. Gastvrouw kan super lekker koken Kamer groot en bijna aan alles gedacht.

Alle ochtenden gerinkel in de ochtend rond 6 uur van servies en gebtlruik keuken. (dan wat gehorig op de eerste verdieping in de slaapkamer). Lamp bij bed is welkom voor sfeerlicht.

These are very well run apartments. I think it's fair to say this is hotel like accommodation, as they also have a restaurant on the bottom level. The guy that runs the whole place, Pahna, and his stuff are extremely nice. His English skills are also very good and if I'm not mistaken he also speaks some Japanese, Korean and maybe a few other languages. The lady that cooks the food definitely knows what's she's doing, I loved every single dish I tried, and I was there for a week so I tried a new dish every day!

Location is a bit farther away from the city center. Even tho it's only 8km away in practice that's a ~35 min drive in Tuk Tuk due to traffic jams.

Je pense que c’est le meilleurs hôtels que j’ai fait durant mon road trip en Asie, personnel super accueillant, au petit soin avec vous, fruits quand vous arrivez, toujours à parler avec vous ! Chambre très bien équipé, TV connecté, frigo, cafe etc….. Un gros ++ pour le personnel (j’ai eu la possibilité d’être surclassé de chambres dès mon premiers jours). Centre de piscine, salle de sport et sauna à 2min à pied, 4$ l’entrée pour avoir un accès total ! Ils servent également à manger, je me suis REGALÉ! Entre 2-4$ le plat, dans la moyenne de ce que vous pouvez trouver dehors.

Très légèrement excentré du centre de Phnom Penh, cependant la population local est beaucoup plus accueillant avec vous que dans le centre de la capitale. 2,50$ en tuktuk pour rejoindre le centre entre 20 et 30 min ça dépend de la circulation.

I loved this place from the bottom of my heart, because Tith is a wonderful and interesting human. My first stay in the wonderful Cambodia. Tith made everything so easy, came to pick me up from the airport in the night, gave me fruits and helped me with my bag. My room was small and very comfortable. I cannot wait to be back, wish I could stay longer

Panha is an extraordinary host. I had a very late flight which he accommodated with late check in and carrying my cases up the stairs, (after midnight!), and also for a small fee was there at the airport to pick me up, which felt nice and safe as a solo traveller. He even helped with my tourist visa extension. Speaking great English Panha’s place is a great first stop in Phnom Penh - he’s only too happy to help with anything you need. The room was nice and dark for sleeping. Breakfast was delicious and loved the tropical fruit. Highly recommend

Sehr schöne und vor allem sehr saubere Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat mir auch am Ende geholfen als ich Probleme mit dem TukTuk Fahrer hatte. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, man ist günstig innerhalb 20-30 Minuten mit dem tuktuk im Zentrum Danke für den kurzen, aber netten Aufenthalt.

Kleine Dörfer, große Sehenswürdigkeiten, interessante Menschen, alles ist im Umfeld möglich. Preis-Leistung ist für alle Angebote im Stay Sweet top.

My family of 3 stayed here during March 2026. It was a lovely experience. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. The AC works really well when kept on low overnight, you will have a great sleep, maybe just bring earplugs to allow for the passing motorbikes in the night if you’re a light sleeper like myself. The hygiene level is 10/10. The food cooked in house is great & there are small Khmer restaurants all around within walking distance. The staff are lovely and I cannot recommend this boutique Guest house highly enough.

Communication with Panha was very easy via WhatsApp & responses were very quick. Panha was very friendly and helpful. He spoke very good English. Located south east of the city-centre, airport-side - easy to get to the Airport - very close to Phnom Penh Choeung Ek Genocide Centre (10 mins by tuk tuk) Large comfortable room. Good airconditioning. Laundry 2 doors down (drop off & pick up later that day/next day) Food available on site (but at reasonable hours only - as it is also the owner's accommodation). We spend our last night in Cambodia before flying out of the Techo Airport - the location served our purpose as we didn't want the busy city centre. Not a touristy area so if you want some touristy things you will need to travel.

The family absolutely made the stay so good. They were so kind and generous, and the owner, Panha, took us out for a day trip at a fair price, with lots of extra stops. He took us to our departure point for onwards travel. Food was fantastic. No need to eat elsewhere. It was also an oasis in a busy city. Tuk tuks made easy travel within the city.

Die wohl beste Erfahrung in 1 Monat Kambodscha. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr schnell wohl. Das Zimmer ist super sauber und mit liebe eingerichtet. Ich hatte Frühstück und Abendessen im Stay Sweet und es war einfach nur köstlich. Man merkt das die Gastgeber den Betrieb mit liebe führen. Wenn ich wieder nach Phnom Penh komme dann auf jeden Fall wieder ins Stay Sweet.

Mr. Panha was an amazing host who truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a perfect stay in Phnom Penh. As a solo traveller, I felt super safe and very well looked after. The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. His partner prepares delicious food, the coffee is honestly the best I had in Cambodia, and I really appreciated the fresh fruits. I felt completely at home and will miss them a lot. Highly recommended!

No tengo mas que agradecimientos, habia reservado por 2 noches pero debido a retrasos con mi vuelo solo he dormido una noche, el dueño ha sido de lo mas cortes y servicial. Siempre preocupandose y solucionandome transporte para el dia siguiente, llevandome a la estación de autobus. Grandes detalles a mi llegada caotica y cansada de mi viaje. 30 horas más tarde de lo esperado. Muchisimas gracias por todo. Es sin duda muy reconfortante encontrarte con alguien asi despues de un largo y duro viaje.

Super établissement au calme et loin de l'agitation de la capitale. Idéal pour une petite famille. La restauration est également à la hauteur mais le top du top, c'est Panha. Il est aux petits soins pour que notre séjour soit le meilleur possible. Il ne faut surtout pas hésiter à lui demander, il trouve toujours une solution, avec un meilleur rapport qualité prix. Le personnel est également serviable et d'une infime gentillesse. Une rencontre qui ne s'oublie. Il faut y aller les yeux fermés.

J’ai énormément apprécié la sympathie et la disponibilité des propriétaires, toujours souriants et attentionnés. Le service est excellent et la nourriture est vraiment très bonne. L’établissement est situé dans un quartier cambodgien très authentique, avec un grand marché local juste à côté, ce qui permet de vivre une vraie expérience locale. L’emplacement est également idéal pour rejoindre l’aéroport sans devoir traverser toute la ville, et le propriétaire peut assurer le transfert pour un prix très raisonnable. A lovely guesthouse in the outskirt of Phnom Penh, so easy to move around with a scooter, either to head to the city or the countryside. My room was spacious, clean, with a balcony. The host is very welcoming.

The information on Booking is incorrect, there is no swimming pool at the guesthouse. There is a large, public swimming pool five minutes’ walk however, but I wanted a place with a swimming which is different. In that sense, it was quite pricey as didn't have the facilities I expected.

The hosts were truly excellent, very warm and welcoming and really looked after you, making you feel special! They brought fruit, nuts, water and even drove us to nearest food markets for dinner. Hosts even gave us some rolls for our onward journey for breakfast! The accommodation had a lovely inviting and relaxing feel to it, clean and comfortable room with air conditioning and tea/coffee and toiletries provided. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Phnom Peng!

The room is great, the staff is lovely, the breakfast is amazing and the food in general. The public swimming pool just 200 m away very refreshing.

You do need a tuk tuk to go anywhere cause you are far away from the city centre. But it is a minor thing.

De eigenaar Panha staat de hele dag voor je klaar! Zijn vriendin kookt lekkere gerechten! Kamers zijn ruim en netjes! Ik had problemen aan de grens op de vluchthaven! Mijn visum was niet goed, ik moest het laten herstellen op de grensovergang waar ik was binnengekomen! Dat was 300 km op en neer! Panha pakte meteen z’n auto! Ik was zo blij dat hij meeging en aan de grens in Kmer voor mij alles kon regelen! Heb hem natuurlijk benzinekosten betaald en een flinke tip👍! Eén puntje is niet zo duidelijk op Booking.com: Er is een zwembad op 150 meter lopen van accommodatie, het kost 3 dollar pp! Toen ik er was, was het vrij druk met schoolkinderen! Maar ik heb wel lekker geplonst! Top Guesthouse!👍

We stayed twice with Panha and his family. It is a really nice homestay with great rooms and comfy beds. The food is delicious. We had a lovely time both times and would recommend it!

It's not in the centre, but it is really peaceful. A grab to the centre takes around 30-45 minutes.

I had a really nice time at Stay Sweet while in Phnom Penh for a business trip. An experience much different than a hotel. Mr. Tith Panha goes above and beyond for his guests. His family & team are wonderful, as well. The food is amazing, the accommodation is top notch and the energy is unmatched. They make you feel like you are truly a member of the family and make sure you are taken care of. A "home sweet home" experience. Tith even helped me with transportation, passport assistance and visa services, not to mention a trip to the barber shop, the mall and bus station (good memories). He also taught me a lot of history about Cambodia, the land, the people, the culture, the food and much more. I look forward to staying here again and I highly recommend their homestay in Phnom Penh while visiting Cambodia. You won't be disappointed. Panha and the rest of the hosts were so welcoming. They made us delicious food, offered to take us to a clinic when my son was unwell and checked in with us to see if we needed help booking onward travel and tuk-tuks. Panha even collected us from the airport at short notice. They all went above and beyond to make us feel safe and welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were well fed, and we're even given lots of free tasty homemade treats. The downstairs café/ seating area felt cozy and a place we could chill & read books. They were very welcoming and kind to our two boys too, and even had English books for my son to read which he was very happy about. We would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of staying.

Grande chambre bien équipée, dans un quartier familial un peu eloigné du centre, dont j'ai bien aimé l'ambiance. Établissement très propre. La cuisine est excellente. Le vrai bonus est la gentillesse incroyable de Panha et sa petite équipe. Ils sont très attentionnés et on se sent bien avec eux. Commerces et marchés à proximité

De ma chambre j'entendais les coqs chanter le matin, mais personnellement cela ne m'a pas dérangée, je préfère cela que le bruit du trafic routier que l'on a dans de nombreux autres établissements de la ville

Well, what an absolutely wonderful guest house. Panha was just the most kindest helpful. Communicative person from even weeks before I got there. He sorted out my bus ticket for me from Kampot. He accommodated all my change of plans. Always with kindness and telling me not to worry. ☺️. He literally came and picked me up from the bus at the end of the road. The guesthouse is homely and inviting my room was spacious spotlessly clean had a balcony overlooking the local area. The bed was gorgeous and the pillows were wonderful. Panha was helpful in every way. It is a little bit out of the centre of the city but for me that was absolutely no problem as it was a short stay and it worked for me to be near the airport. It was no problem to get a grab into town. Panha dropped me at the killing fields and also kindly just dropped me at the airport at 6 am in the morning. I only had a two night stay but feel extremely at home there. Had a lovely dinner last night the food was really good. The coffee was gorgeous. And panha’s whisky blend is marvellous 😀. Lovely stay I would highly recommend.
