Huge damp patch on the ceiling bathroom toilet was wobbly due to dampness from the floor what had swelled up ,TV channels hardly worked bed was creaky

It was a dingy basement flat. The floors were filthy. The kitchen area was in an appalling state. The oven was filthy. There was no lighting on the stairs down. The freezer space was tiny. The boiler broke down 4 or 5 times before it was finally fixed. Did not feel like a holiday apartment

When you first walk into the building then stairs weren't vacuumed! I thought maybe the cleaners hadn't got to them yet! I was wrong. In side the apartment was worse! The wall has dirt on them! The floor was that dirty we had to keep our shoes on! And worst of all there were bed bugs! This cut short our entire holiday! What was ment to be a 3 night stay turned in to a 1 night stay! I spoke to the owner who said I need to contact booking.com I did then the couldn't get hold of him communication was difficult owner was called several times before answering! I did eventually get a partial refund

thought we had booked a 2 bed apartment on seafront but got a 1 bed 1 street back from seafront had to buy an airbed for me to sleep in living room as bed was smaller than caravan size nowhere big enough for me and my partner kept awake in living room by animal scratching noises from back of sink very basic no welcome pack only 1 towel each no hand towels or bath mats couldn't get any channels on tv in bedroom and lots of interference on tv in living room loose toilet seat and drains smell from toilet lots of cigarette but ends on steps and big water stain on living room ceiling not happy with booking dot com for mis selling / bad advertisement of holiday and would not stay there again you shouldnt book an apartment hol and have to spend £50 on an airbed to sleep on for a week

It was dirty needed to wipe your feet on the way out, feet were black after leaving the shower, mould and hair and dust everywhere

The communication was great from start to finish. The key was in a lock box and was all easy and convenient. We parked outside the property with a virtual permit. It was a large apartment with everything we needed. The flat was clean.

The water in the shower wasn't hot but luke warm. Not that bad. Honesty that was all.

Location great, near everything, owners gave me a virtual street parking permit. Good comms to find key. Apartment had all the usual kitchen appliances.

The apartment a little run down and tatty, toilet lid wouldn't stay up, and sounded like we had some sort of guest behind the kitchen cupboards ( didn't see it, just heard a lot of scratching.two bath towels left on bed but no hand towel.

Location, bed was comfortable and a good shower.

The lovely wooden floors were dirty, bedroom walls could do with a repaint and the damp smell from bathroom, no ventilation was strong. Also a not nice smell in the narrow stair case.

Location was perfect for this self catering apartment.

The appointment itself was good size, great location and close to everything. Good value for your money.

It could do with some upgrades, a new splash of paint throughout the apartment, the bathroom bin, toilet holder, towel rail and the sink plug are rusty. Toilet moves when you sit on it, and a new mattress is definitely needed.

I enjoyed my stay here it was quiet and comfortable with everything I needed for my stay. I liked that there was tea, coffee and sugar provided and the location is close to the sea front and not far from the town centre I will definetly stay here again.

Floor needs a bit of a clean as with wearing white socks I could see the dirt that came off and the shower drain could do with some attention as when I used the shower it didn't drain properly. But these are only minor things and would still recommend staying here.

Everything worked, good to have two telly's. Easy short walk to the shops and bars

Warm room. Very spacious. Easy access to utilities and fridge and freezer. Nice table and comfy sofa. Good non stick frying pans and saucepans. Nice lighting and fan. Pleasant all round experience.

On flat 4 the highest room of the property the stairs was little two high. Sadly no lift for heavy luggage but it might be difficult to put a lift in due to the age of the building etc. The plug sockets could have been next to the chest of draws just outside the bathroom. Next time I would hope to get a lower floor for easy access. Other than that not much else to be concerned about at this time.

The apartment is in a great location close to the.centre. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

That we had a whole apartment and that it was only 5 min walk to sea front

Nothing it wasn’t how the photos showed the apartment we arrived it was dirty, broken furniture, dirty pots and pans, crumbs on the sofa and general cleaning wasn’t great, we had booked for 3 nights, but we didn’t stay, found other accommodation in Yarmouth, I contacted the owner but no compensation given even after sending him the photos, even booking.com contacted him and still nothing

I traveled all the way to the apartment I had reserved to find it completely flooded. Water was pouring down from the ceiling onto the TV and the lights which were sparking! Extremely dangerous. Phoned the host multiple times to which there was zero response. Finally once I received an answer I was told they knew nothing about the state of the apartment and that they couldn’t offer me another despite travelling all the way down and already paying! I’m am still waiting for a refund which if doesn’t happen then I will be making a report.

The signal for the tv made it difficult at times to watch things on tv. And the people who do live there, are rather loud. Especially slamming doors or coming down the stairs. Became much at times.

The delivery service is very convenient and it's close to the shops in the city center. So I liked it.

Good value basic apartment . Problem with boiler fixed very promptly. This was fifth visit and will book again.

Only one dessert spoon and one bowl so we had to share. Dirty oven with previous occupants' food still in there. Would prefer coat hooks to a painting in the hallway.

Noisy neighbours upstairs. Not very good TV reception. Couldn't get my phone to work on their WiFi. Place was in a rough area.

There was nothing we liked we asked for a ground floor flat as we both have disabilities and can not climb the 39 stairs we had to get a stranger to take our suitcases up as we could not do them ourselves we could only go out once a day as we could not do all the stairs 2 times our holiday was the worst one ever we tried to contact the owner as well as your selves to say we needed to be in a ground floor because of our walking difficulties but could never get through to I would like some compensation as really this was the holiday from hell

A ground floor as was requested several weeks before hand but no you did not listen to what we asked for we will never book with you again

Everything was clean. The rooms were all of a generous size. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. The bathroom was quite luxurious having a bath and a shower. The wifi worked well. The heating worked well.

It was a basement so understandably rather gloomy. The blinds were fragile and broken, and if you did pull them up, the views from every window were quite unpleasant. 3 of the 4 lightbulbs in the kitchen were blown, and the other main light hanging from the ceiling looked unfinished. The sofa was tiny. The whole place felt pretty stark, not homely at all. The TV aerial hardly worked, so you were lucky to get maybe 25% of the channels on a good day. The extractor fan in the bathroom ran for ages after using the light which was annoying in the bedroom at night. The neighbours were pretty noisy most nights. There were lots of narrow stairs to get down to the basement, which is difficult with cases. The boiler repairman arrived one afternoon with his own keys which was a surprise.

The beds could have done with more pillows. The bathroom could do with a refurbishment. It didn’t feel very secure as the door only had a Yale lock and could have done with a chain. Parking was a bit limited.

Es tut mir leid, dass ich die Unterkunft so schlecht bewerten muss. Der Ansprechpartner hat sofort und immer freundlich reagiert. Die Waschmaschine war super und alle Geräte haben funktioniert.

Allerdings war es unheimlich dreckig. Unter den Betten lag Staub von Wochen und sogar etwas Müll. Die Bettwäsche war nicht sauber. In der Dusche waren Haare der Vormieter. Keiner von uns hat sich gewagt, dort die Dusche zu betreten. Der Handtuchhalter war kaputt und so rostig, dass jedes Handtuch davon dreckig würde.

The bed was comfortable but needed extra pillows as one each was not enough.

Unfortunately, when we arrived despite having free permit parking, there wasn't enough space on the road, which was probably a blessing in disguise as the road itself had neighbours drinking alcohol from 9am and there was a strong smell of cannabis from morning to night. We chose the apartment for the self catering, however the oven had no numbers or any markings on it, so we were unable to use it and had to eat out. There was no signal on the TV, and despite the owner asking us to return the TV, we were only able to get ITV channels, and they still cut out. The blinds were broken, and so were the cupboards, 1 in the kitchen and both cupboards in the bathroom. I also checked the photos from Booking.com and what we stayed in was not as advertised!

The property was disgusting. It is not fit for people to stay in there the bathroom was unclean paint chipped, mold in shower, dirty floors and the shower doors were covered in limescale. Kitchen utensils were broken, dirty and were missing key equipment like oven gloves. The washing machine had brown liquid leaking out the door. Bedroom wasn’t too bad sheets seemed clean but the mirrors, window, draws and everything in it had not been cleaned. The inside stairs up to the apartment smelt like wet dog and piss. The stay was not anywhere near the standards I would expect especially when we did not even get the room we booked for as it was given to someone else then we had to wait half an hour for it to be “cleaned” so we only got into the apartment at 4:30 when check in was suppose to be 3. Took 3 calls and multiple texts to even get through to the person in charge aswell. Very disappointed in this stay and would not recommend.

It was filthy dirty, kitchen, bathroom, bedding certainly hasn’t been cleaned in a while and last clean was not very deep!

Perfect location close to all amenities very clean

Didn't realise top floor narrow steps lack of cutlery had to buy table spoons and hand towels TV had subtitles which we couldn't remove no instructions for TV 1 pillow each.

The location of the flat was perfect. Slept well.

Unforcently the way the flat was present in the way of cleaning was not great. Dusty , cobwebs, I had to pull the plug out of the shower as the water wasn't going down and I threw up due to the hair. T.v stand had hand prints on. Inside the shower needed a clean. Sharp plastic on top of fridge. Flat needs a deep clean.

We've stayed at these apartments several times and always find them comfortable and excellent value for money. The big plus is their location, close to the shops and the sea front. Any issues we had on this visit were addressed very promptly by the owner, who we have always found helpful and easy to get hold of in an emergency. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Great Yarmouth.

The neighbourhood in general is quite shabby and run down. We don't mind because we are familiar with the area and the location works well for us. We also don't drive so parking is never an issue, but I imagine it easily could be. The only issue we do have is the seagulls that nest nearby and seem to squawk all day and all night long. I am a huge champion for wildlife and the seaside without seagulls would just be wrong but, ear plugs are a must for a good night's sleep during seagull nesting season, especially if it's hot and the windows are open.

Location was good as it was so close to everything you needed. The apartment was a really good size. Good bed but could do with more pillows. Like the fact of having a virtual permit for parking.

The cleanliness of it wasn't great. The shower was grubby. The floors throughout the apartment were filthy, our feet and socks were nearly black!! It felt like everything needed a really good scrub and some TLC. It was cheaper than other places.

The whole place was filthy. We did a deep clean as soon as we got there. When we walked into the apartment, it smelt awful. There was a washing machine that was full of mould and did not work. The fridge freezer was dirty and smelly The microwave was disgusting, and when I opened the oven, it was next level disgusting. The shower was full of mould and behind the sink, and the toilet it was thick with dirt. The locks on the windows in the back bedroom were missing, so the windows could not be opened. When I moved the sofas and the beds to sweep under them, there was old smoked cigarettes, rubbish, and thick dirt under them. We are charged a cleaning fee to do our own cleaning!!! When we woke up the first morning, my partner and daughter had bites all over them, we tried to ring the owner but got no answer, so we rang booking.com who were no help at all. We went and brought bed bug spray and took the bedding to the laundrette as we did not want to cut the hoilday short for the kids. It worked for one night, and then the bites were back. The final straw was when we came back from being out all day, and we saw a RAT running across the room. We rang the owner back, and he was very rude and laughed when we said there was a RAT and asked to see a picture, which was hard as the RAT ran under the fridge, freezer. We left early the next morning. We did get a refund for the days we did not stay there, but the whole experience has been horrible and very upsetting. I ADVISE KNOW ONE TO STAY HERE. I would put more pictures on, but it is only allowing me to put 4 on here.

The apartment was bigger than I expected. Shower unit was roomy with a strong jet. Toilet flush worked well. Quiet. - could hear people talking in corridors sometimes (during day) but at night - it was quiet. Modern secure windows. Huge floor fan. Location was excellent. Easy to find key. Facilities - oven, micowave etc worked well but the numbers on the oven knob have faded away so I had to take a guess when choosing how hot to make the oven but I managed.

The mattress was a little sad - need a new one. The apartment was not dirty but certain areas had been cleaned in a rush I think and could have been cleaned more thoroughly - e.g. floor. Shower doors could have been cleaned. Washing machine didn't seem to have a spin - if it did I couldn't find it - so towels came out very wet (not spun) and took ages to dry. I just bought some new ones. This was in the basement apartment - it might have been easier in the other apartments.
